How vitamin injections for the face work: consequences and techniques. Rejuvenating and cosmetic facial injections

Injections with a lifting effect are modern procedures that allow you to restore youth to your face and body. They do an excellent job of correcting age-related changes and rejuvenation. For example, with the help of hyaluronic acid injections, you can restore volume to your lips, smooth out wrinkles on the face, neck and décolleté.

Botulinum toxin injections will relieve deep wrinkles between the eyebrows, around the eyes and on the forehead.

Anti-aging facial injections: what are they?

The following drugs and procedures are available:

  1. Botox – facial contouring and botulinum therapy. Designed to correct imperfections and get rid of facial wrinkles;
  2. Preparations with hyaluronic acid – contouring, biorevitalization. Hyaluronic acid improves skin condition through rejuvenation and hydration;
  3. Fillers with hyaluronic acid – lip correction, contouring. Designed to correct imperfections, eliminate ptosis, age-related changes, replenish volume, moisturize and nourish the skin;
  4. Cocktails with hyaluronic acid, minerals and vitamins - mesotherapy. The condition of the skin after the introduction of acid improves, the face rejuvenates;
  5. Radiesse filler – Radiesse rejuvenation, contouring. Corrects defects, eliminates age-related imperfections, ptosis, fills wrinkles.

Peptides and hyaluronic acid

These two substances are similar to each other, in addition, hyaluronic acid and peptides enhance each other’s effects. Therefore, it is recommended to use acids in tandem.

Peptides are artificial protein substances that stimulate the regeneration of skin cells, as a result of which the epidermis is rejuvenated. They eliminate pigmentation and age-related defects.

Benefits of hyaluronic acid and peptides:

  1. The number of wrinkles/folds is reduced;
  2. Bruises under the eyes, peeling, small scars/scars disappear;
  3. The color and structure of the dermis improves - sagging decreases, dryness/oilyness disappears;
  4. Acids help restore skin after intense cosmetic procedures and tanning.

The process of introducing peptides and hyaluronic acid

First of all, the skin is lubricated with anesthetic cream. Then they give subcutaneous injections. Sometimes the result is noticeable in the first day after the procedure.

The optimal course is 3-4 procedures, carried out at intervals of 2 weeks. In the future, it is enough to introduce hyaluronic acid and peptides 1-2 times a year.

Peptides in mesotherapy

Similar procedures are carried out without hyaluronic acid. They are aimed at eliminating fat deposits, cellulite, reducing scars, enlarged pores, facial oiliness, as well as treating rosacea.

Mesotherapy with peptides is carried out in courses - 4-5 procedures with an interval of 10 days.

Hyaluronic acid injections

Fillers are products that are injected under the skin of the face and body. They fill wrinkles and create volume. The basis of most drugs is hyaluronic acid, a substance produced by the body itself. With age, its production decreases, skin defects appear - wrinkles, folds.

Injections with hyaluronic acid replenish the lost volume of this substance, which gradually restores elasticity, a healthy complexion, and rejuvenates it.

Injections of hyaluronic acid allow you to perform contouring, change the shape of the face, remove nasolabial folds, and correct the chin without surgery.

The first result is noticeable 1-4 days after the first procedure. For full effect, 3-4 sessions are required with an interval of 2 weeks.

Collagen injections for the face

Collagen, like hyaluronic acid, is a substance found in the tissues of the human body. Collagen is a protein that can absorb and bind moisture, thereby strengthening and toning tissues.

After its administration, the skin on the face becomes elastic, its structure improves, and it is saturated with nutrients.

In a young body, hyaluronic acid and other substances are produced in sufficient quantities, but with age, production decreases, resulting in wrinkles.

Collagen, like hyaluronic acid, is used to combat aging, to eliminate scars, cicatrices, and lip contouring.

The effect becomes noticeable after an hour, so many people prefer collagen instead of hyaluronic acid.

Collagen injections, as with the use of hyaluronic acid, are used for shallow wrinkles; insufficient volume of lips/cheekbones; folds on the skin of the lower eyelid/in the area of the nasolabial triangle; irregular chin shape; excessive skin texture.

The procedure lasts about an hour. The effect lasts 3-6 months.

Collagen for the face, in addition to standard contraindications, is not used in the presence of oncological pathologies; after recent dermabrasion, chemical peeling, laser resurfacing; in the presence of inflammation at the sites of intended injection.

Ozone injections

Ozone therapy should be included in the treatment complex, for example, used with hyaluronic acid. It will help with sagging, aging facial skin, inflammatory processes (pimples, acne), rosacea and even hair loss.

Ozone injections affect the causes of defects and are therefore very effective. They stimulate redox processes, activating cell functions. Ozone renews and makes the immune system work. Facial injections not only smooth out the skin, but also rejuvenate it from the inside.

They rejuvenate the face with courses of 5-10 procedures, depending on the condition of the skin and the desired result.

A big plus of injections is the almost complete absence of contraindications. They can be done even for pregnant women and teenagers.

Ozone injections for the face, like hyaluronic acid, can correct the skin and eliminate defects. In addition, with their help you can get rid of cellulite by making injections for the body, dandruff and a number of fungal skin diseases.

Injections for vitaminizing the face

Various cocktails are used for mesotherapy - preparations rich in vitamins, minerals, and acids are injected under the skin of the face. They actively affect dermal cells, restoring them from the inside.

You can rejuvenate your face with hyaluronic acid and vitamins in 7-10 sessions. Maintenance courses are held every 1-2 years.

Cocktails for mesotherapy of the face and body in general are very popular not only in traditional medicine for the purpose of prevention, but also in aesthetic cosmetology to eliminate the consequences and remove all sorts of defects. Mesotherapy itself became known a little over 50 years ago, but it was able to quickly establish itself as the best alternative to well-known plastic surgery.

Mesotherapy

The essence of the method lies in the procedure for introducing various therapeutic injections into the middle layer - the dermis. The injections themselves are cocktails for body mesotherapy, which enter the skin along with minerals, nucleic acids, as well as medicinal plant extracts and amino acids. The procedure uses a very thin needle, thanks to which it is possible to inject the drug to a depth of up to 3.9 mm.

Mesotherapy allows you to easily and inexpensively solve not only local, but also extensive skin problems. The procedure guarantees a noticeable improvement in blood microcirculation; it can increase the elasticity of the skin, but only in the area of the therapeutic injection.

The main advantage over traditional methods is the delivery of the therapeutic drug to the middle layer of the skin. Thanks to this, internal metabolic processes become active, cellular regeneration is stimulated, and blood circulation is significantly improved, which the patient immediately notices. It is worth noting that this effect cannot be achieved if you use exclusively external cosmetics.

Indications

  • there are clear signs of premature aging or so-called photoaging;
  • The nasolabial folds begin to sag, and furrows appear around the mouth area;
  • deep and wide wrinkles appear, the skin darkens;
  • gradually arise;
  • several pigment spots appear;
  • there is a tendency to develop spider veins or freckles;
  • there are vessels located close to each other;
  • post-acne, post-operative, hypertrophic, keloid are observed).

The mesotherapy method can be used both before surgery and in the postoperative period. Quite often it is combined with some other procedures, such as chemical peels, laser resurfacing, and dermabrasion.

Contraindications

The main contraindications that completely prohibit the use of cocktails for mesotherapy:

  • lack of good blood clotting;
  • consumption of specific medications (anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, etc.);
  • fairly weak immunity;
  • period of pregnancy or lactation;
  • the presence of stones in the gall bladder;
  • allergic reactions to cocktail components;
  • chronic diseases;
  • fever.

Of course, many patients, even with the above problems, went for mesotherapy despite the doctors’ warnings. Most of them suffered deterioration in their own health, but there were also those who did not receive the slightest damage.

Types and techniques

The use of any specific drug administration technique directly depends on the type and severity of skin problems.

Cocktails for hair mesotherapy are most often used in manual or injection techniques. It involves manually administering the drug using a standard syringe and an ultra-thin needle. This procedure necessarily requires careful preparation and, of course, the responsibility of a specialist, because the result depends on which technique is chosen.

In addition to the manual one, there is also a mechanical technique, where the introduction of the cocktail is carried out not manually, but using a special gun called a “mesoinjector”. It also has mesotherapy needles, but they are considered more suitable for this procedure, as opposed to conventional syringes and needles.

The methods differ in the methods of administration of the main drug, as well as in the indications. Each of them has certain advantages and disadvantages, so it is impossible to find an ideal or absolutely terrible one among them. When choosing one option or another, you should not pay attention to the degree of pain; the more important factor will be the desired effect, which must be dealt with first.

The final result depends on several factors, including the patient’s age, skin condition, and individual characteristics of the body. And the procedure itself must be carried out under the strict supervision of a doctor (cosmetologist), who, like the client, is solely interested in the best effect.

Composition of cocktails

Many people are interested in the question of what the best mesotherapy cocktails contain. In fact, mesotherapy involves the use of both one drug and a whole complex of substances necessary for the body. Patients do not always understand why some of the elements contained in the products used by mesotherapy are required. The composition of the cocktail is actually not that unusual:

  1. Hyaluronic acid. Able to stimulate regeneration and also retain the required volume of fluid. This element can be administered either as a single drug or as a complex.
  2. Phospholipids. They are an integral component of membranes, which makes skin cells much more elastic.
  3. Magnesium and silicon salts. They strengthen tissues while ensuring their elasticity. They are guaranteed to improve cell nutrition and also restore skin tone to normal.
  4. Polylactic acid. Supports and improves the natural process of neocollagen formation. And as you know, it, in turn, takes part in the production of collagen.

Cocktails for mesotherapy, as a rule, consist of vitamins of various groups, active enzymes, and antioxidants. Sometimes they may contain antibiotics and immunomodulators. At the moment, there are more than 200 different variations of cocktails, which differ in composition and are used for different purposes, which directly depends on the condition of the client’s skin and cosmetic defects.

Using a mesoscooter

Some people prefer to do this procedure themselves at home. In this case, their main question becomes the purchase of a mesoscooter. This is a special device that gives a fairly good effect if used correctly. For this purpose, ready-made cocktails or faces are usually purchased. But you need to look for them exclusively in trusted pharmacies in your city, since ordering on the Internet or asking to send them by mail after purchasing them in another city can lead to adverse consequences.

Progress of the procedure

First of all, the cosmetologist carries out a makeup removal procedure, with the help of which he gets rid of decorative cosmetics and dirt settling on the surface of the skin. Then the surface where the intervention will be performed is treated with an antiseptic, and only after that cocktails for mesotherapy of the face, hair, and so on are introduced. There is absolutely no painkiller required here. Immediately after the procedure, redness, hematomas and other reactions may appear, but this is a completely normal phenomenon that goes away quite quickly.

Effect

After just a couple of procedures, the results that mesotherapy provides will be noticeable. As a rule, the patient feels a vitamin cocktail that gives a lifting effect the very next day after the procedure. Skin color improves significantly and deep wrinkles become smaller. Dark circles under the eyes, age spots and vascular networks will disappear quickly, surprising not only the patient himself, but also everyone around him.

Ready-made cocktails for mesotherapy

It is worth highlighting those products that have received a lot of positive feedback from customers:

  1. "Silikin." The composition contains organic silicon, is produced exclusively in ampoules of 5 ml, and is used in meso-cocktails for hair and body. It regulates cell metabolism, takes part in the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, and also enhances the effect of the cocktail components.
  2. X-ADN gel. It contains hyaluronic acid and elastin hydrolysate, is sold in a 2.5 ml bottle, and is necessary in cases of dry and dehydrated skin, wrinkles in the eye area and atrophic scars. The gel performs moisturizing and renewing functions, helps increase the elasticity of connective tissue.
  3. Cytocare 532. A French-made cocktail that contains microelements, amino acids, a whole vitamin complex, and so on. It is used for mature skin with age-related changes, with the appearance of wrinkles in the cheek area, in order to prevent hyperpigmentation that appears as a result of aggressive effects on the skin of the external environment.

Which countries produce similar products?

Most countries produce special meso cocktails, which differ in cost, composition and quality. The following countries are the highest quality producers:

  1. Japan. Such solutions contain hyaluronic acid, elastin and collagen, as well as many other substances useful to the human body. The production presents options for both young ladies and older women.
  2. Korea. The magical properties of Korean products help people get rid of signs of aging, increase elasticity, and also remove dark circles in the eye area and age spots.
  3. Spain. These products are very effective and safe to use. They combine environmentally friendly components and new technological processes.
  4. France. Most often, vitamins, hyaluronate and minerals are used in the composition.

Russian production

The domestic manufacturer can truly boast of significant success. The most popular Russian-made products are:

  • DMAE is a serum that gives excellent results and can accelerate the regenerative properties of the dermis. In addition, DMAE promotes a positive lifting effect, as well as rejuvenation.
  • "Caviar" - contains extracts of sturgeon caviar, and is used to increase elasticity during age-related changes.
  • "Gibilan" - distinguished by the presence of an extract that can eliminate rosacea, as well as improve blood microcirculation.

Popular means

Before choosing a specific substance, you need to familiarize yourself with the entire range of the salon. Cosmetologists, of course, prefer those serums that they have already used in their work, but the choice still remains with the client.

Many manufacturers market options rich in hyaluronic acid and various additives. There are also products that combine more than 50 substances that are beneficial to the body. For example, the most popular of them are the French NCTF135 and the Italian Yalupro.

Women under the age of 35 use Russian products more often (Hyalripayer, Hyaluform Mesolift), but no worse effect can be obtained from Japanese serums (AcHyal).

There are therapeutic cocktails, the composition of which guarantees relief from acne, scars and rosacea: the Spanish “Piernas Cansadas” and the Russian Regenerador antiestrias.

Briefly about mesotherapy

If the eyes are the mirror of the soul, then the face is its dressing room. And so that the contents of the latter do not deteriorate with age, you need to start taking care at an early age. Ideally, up to 25 years of age to create a springboard for further improvement of appearance. Although these indicators are individual and, in many respects, genetically determined.

The first and main factor that determines how a face looks is nutrition. It's not just about eating the right foods, but also getting additional sources of nutrients.

Cosmetologist's comment. Everyone needs nutrients, regardless of age. But, unfortunately, it is impossible to get enough nutrients from foods alone, and the body will not be able to absorb them at once. As well as stocking up for the future. Combining a proper diet and special cosmetic procedures is the most optimal way not only to improve the condition of the skin, hair and nails, but also to prevent various age-related diseases. What procedures are best for the body as a whole and facial skin? Definitely vitamin injections. In cosmetology, this procedure is called mesotherapy.

This procedure is often compared to magic. And this is not surprising, since after just one injection under the skin you can easily say goodbye to 10 years.

Mesotherapy was first offered to the general public in the late 50s of the last century. Its founder was the French doctor Michel Pistor. It was he who suggested this name. The revolutionary technique allowed hundreds of women to gain a second youth in a short time. If earlier it was necessary to use antibiotics for such an effect, then from now on beautiful skin was the merit of exclusively natural ingredients - extracts of medicinal plants, beneficial acids, important microelements.

The benefits of facial injections with vitamins

Vitamin complexes for the face have many advantages compared to antibiotics or other skin care products. They are:

  • Speed of achieving effect. The difference between the original skin condition and the new one is noticeable after the first procedure. However, for a longer lasting effect, cosmetologists recommend doing such procedures at least 5 times with a break of one to two weeks.
  • Range of action. Many vitamin masks have a positive effect on facial skin. However, they are far from being as effective as vitamin injections. The latter are aimed at eliminating bags and circles under the eyes, reducing puffiness, tightening the skin, accelerating the synthesis of collagen (the protein responsible for skin elasticity).
  • Strengthening the skin's natural protection from the adverse effects of environmental factors. Ultraviolet radiation is considered the greatest harm to facial skin. Thanks to vitamin injections, pigmentation and flaking caused by direct sunlight are not scary.
  • Prevention of inflammatory processes. Even with proper nutrition, the skin of the face can be damaged by a rash; it can flake and itch. Thanks to properly selected vitamin cocktails that are injected under the skin, the likelihood of developing inflammatory diseases, acne, acne and other consequences of disruption of the sebaceous glands is reduced to almost zero.
  • Less traumatic and painless.
  • Possibility of application both locally and regionally. Vitamin complexes can be administered both to a specific area, for example, in the forehead, and throughout the body. It all depends on the initial indicators of skin condition and needs.
  • No traces. During the procedure, a vitamin cocktail is administered pointwise. All traces of punctures and slight swelling disappear within one hour after the end of the procedure.

In addition to all of the above, vitamin injections have a good effect on the water-salt balance. This reduces swelling and speeds up the process of removing excess fluid. Vitamin complexes also have an antioxidant effect. They prevent the appearance of free radicals (active molecules that provoke the development of cancer).

Cosmetologist's comment. Beauty injections based on vitamin complexes can be used starting from the age of 20. Before the procedure, you should definitely consult with your doctor - he will confirm or deny the compatibility of the procedure with the medications or other vitamin complexes you are taking. In addition, despite the enormous benefits, vitamin complexes are not suitable for everyone. And only a doctor can tell you about this. Even if there are no obvious problems with the skin of the face, for the purpose of prevention, mesotherapy should be performed at least once six months. After the procedure, blood circulation accelerates, which means the cells receive more oxygen and nutrients. The appearance of the skin depends on these indicators.

Types of vitamin injections for the face

The most popular vitamins for facial skin are: , , , , group B. The treatment course consists of 3-5 sessions (sometimes 8-10 procedures may be required). As a rule, doctors recommend taking such courses no more than twice a year. You can start giving injections at the age of 20, but most doctors advise not to rush into it until at least 25.

The combination of cocktail components may be different. The most popular are cocktails based on extracts of healing plants (ginkgo biloba, witch hazel), hyaluronic and glycolic acids, microelements (zinc, selenium, calcium, magnesium).

The best effect for the face is achieved with one procedure per week.

However, even such a useful procedure has its contraindications. They are:

  • chronic skin diseases during exacerbation;
  • hypertension of the 3rd degree;
  • postoperative condition;
  • kidney problems (nephritis, renal failure);
  • cholelithiasis;
  • pregnancy in the last trimester;
  • lactation period;
  • poor blood clotting (hemophilia);
  • oncology, diabetes, heart failure.

You can learn more about mesotherapy from the video below.

As you know, no one gets younger over time. Women are especially concerned about appearance. And since, first of all, the face gives away age, the most pressing issue for women is finding means to combat wrinkles. One of the ways to improve the appearance of the face and restore the skin to its former elasticity and softness is the well-known beauty injections, or, as they are also called, youth injections.

These are special injections of various substances that are used by cosmetologists to rejuvenate facial skin. Beauty injections can easily replace plastic surgery, because the operation has many more health consequences, it requires more time, special training and a long rehabilitation period. And beauty injections are characterized by minimal pain and high efficiency, they have fewer contraindications, and the result is more predictable.

How to choose a cosmetologist for beauty injections

A good specialist, even before the procedure, should:

  • Tell about the drug he is going to use,
  • About his action
  • About your feelings during the procedure
  • About the duration of action of the drug
  • About how your face will change,
  • Find out about drug allergies,
  • Tell us about possible complications
  • Provide information about the rehabilitation period.

Beauty ampoules for face

With the help of beauty injections, the skin of the face is tightened (lifting effect), fine and deep wrinkles are smoothed out, the skin's elasticity is restored and it is moisturized. There are different drugs to achieve different goals. Let's take a closer look at these cosmetic injections.

The following drugs are used in cosmetology:

  • hyaluronic acid,
  • peptides,
  • collagen,
  • synthetic polylactic acid,
  • calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse),
  • botox (botulinum toxin),
  • polycapronolactone
  • vitamins and vitamin complexes.

Hyaluronic acid

Perhaps rejuvenation with hyaluronic acid is one of the most famous methods of youth injections. Hyaluronic acid itself is a glycosaminoglycan. It is part of the skin and connective tissue and has the ability to bind water and retain it, which ensures skin elasticity. With age, the amount of hyaluronic acid synthesized by cells decreases; it ceases to retain water in sufficient quantities, which is why wrinkles appear. The procedure in which hyaluronic acid is injected is called biorevitalization.

Various preparations are used for it, containing synthetic or crossed (in it the molecules are connected by cross-links) hyaluronic acid: IAL System, Restylane, Juvederm, Repleri, Teosyal, Viscoderm.

The choice of the drug is made by a cosmetologist.

  • First, the skin is cleansed of cosmetics and treated with an antiseptic.
  • If necessary, an anesthetic cream is applied, but sometimes the drug already contains an anesthetic component, then additional anesthesia is not required.
  • Then the cosmetologist injects hyaluronic acid.

The administration regimen is developed individually for each patient. The duration of the course of anti-aging injections varies in each specific case, from two or three to ten. Between procedures, a break of at least one week is required. It is recommended to repeat the course no earlier than a year later.

In addition to the injection method, there is a laser (hardware) method of biorevitalization. This is a more comfortable and effective way.

Hyaluronic acid moisturizes the skin, makes it more elastic, smoothes out wrinkles (both small and deep).

Advantages of preparations based on hyaluronic acid: it is a normal component of the skin, therefore it rarely causes allergic reactions and other complications.

Disadvantages include high cost, short-term effect, addiction (the body stops producing its own hyaluronic acid). Frequent injection of the drug is not recommended. And after the procedure, you should not be in direct sunlight for some time, visit the solarium, massage, or lift weights.

Peptides

Peptides are small sequences of amino acids that resemble proteins but are smaller in size. They enhance the effect of hyaluronic acid, so they are often used together in complex preparations. They stimulate the regeneration of skin cells and remove pigmentation. The use of peptides in combination with hyaluronic acid and other substances is called mesotherapy.

Preparation for the procedure is similar to preparation for the introduction of hyaluronic acid.

Preparations for peptide mesotherapy include Mesoeye (for the eye area), DMAE, Dermaheal.

The advantages of the procedure are its long-term effect and non-toxicity, the disadvantages are high cost, possible bruises after injections and allergic reactions.

This is a protein that, like hyaluronic acid, is part of connective tissue. It maintains its shape, ensures firmness and elasticity of the skin. In cosmetology, collagen of animal origin is mainly used, and in some expensive clinics they can introduce autocollagen synthesized by the cells of the person himself in the laboratory. This drug does not cause allergic reactions.

You can often hear that the drug contains “plant collagen”. You should know that this is a myth invented by manufacturers, because collagen is purely animal protein. In fact, such preparations include hydrolyzed wheat protein, individual fragments of which resemble collagen in structure, but it is not as effective. All preparations with collagen are divided into 3 types: low, medium and high concentrations. The first is used to eliminate shallow wrinkles, the second – for larger ones, the third – for facial modeling.

Using collagen for beauty injections

1 hour before collagen injection, the skin is treated with anesthetic cream. Some beauty clinics cool the skin with ice cubes to reduce sensitivity, but there is an opinion that this reduces the effectiveness of the procedure. An additional anesthetic is also contained in the collagen preparation itself; a lidocaine solution is most often used. Collagen can be administered in two different ways: a thin stream or a series of injections.

The choice of method, selection of the drug and calculation of the number of procedures is carried out by a specialist depending on the problem that needs to be solved. The advantages of collagen injections include a quick and long-term effect (observed after the first procedure, lasting from three months to six months).

But there are also disadvantages: in addition to the high cost, the possibility of developing allergic reactions should be mentioned; if the technique is violated, swelling may appear on the face.

Collagen should not be administered in case of oncological pathologies, after undergoing laser skin resurfacing or chemical peeling in the recent past, or in the presence of inflammation on the face.

Synthetic polylactic acid

It is a polymer of lactic acid, which is formed in muscles during intense physical activity. For cosmetic purposes, it is produced in a laboratory, so the risk of allergic reactions is minimal. Produced under the brand name.

The use of polylactic acid in cosmetology

Polylactic acid is used in two forms: fillers and threads. Both procedures solve the following age-related problems:

  • swollen facial contour,
  • sagging fabrics,
  • wrinkles and folds on the skin,
  • elimination of nasolabial folds,
  • double chin,
  • sagging skin,
  • hollows and bags under the eyes.

This is explained by the fact that polylactic acid works in 2 stages: first it fills the voids itself, and then stimulates the production of collagen by cells, and new collagen fibers take its place.

Fillers

The procedure takes no more than half an hour. It is not particularly different from other cosmetic procedures: first remove makeup, treat the skin with an anesthetic cream, inject the drug and massage the face when finished.

3 sessions are required with a break of a month and a half. Sculptra is considered one of the best drugs for eliminating wrinkles; after its administration, complications very rarely arise, and the effect lasts up to 2 years.

Contraindications

But there is also a fly in the ointment: polylactic acid cannot be injected into the forehead, lips, or around the eyes. The drug is contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women, as well as in the presence of autoimmune diseases or blood diseases. The result does not appear immediately, but after a few weeks. And the cost of the drug is rather high.

Threads with polylactic acid

Another way to use polylactic acid is mesothreads (bio-reinforcement). In this case, fibers introduced under the skin create a frame that tightens and smoothes it. Subsequently, the mesothreads dissolve and turn into water and carbon dioxide. And in their place remains a collagen frame that maintains the skin in this condition for several years.

The procedure takes about an hour and usually does not cause side effects or complications. In some cases, swelling and bruising may appear, which will subsequently resolve. Contraindications - as in the previous method (fillers).

Calcium hydroxyapatite

Just like Sculptra, it acts in two stages: direct volume replenishment and stimulation of collagen synthesis. In cosmetology, the drug calcium hydroxyapatite is known under the brand name.

The procedure takes place in a standard manner and takes half an hour to an hour. It is carried out once a year. The effect is noticeable immediately, but fully manifests itself after a month.

Radiesse should not be administered during pregnancy, diabetes, or inflammation in the area where the drug is to be injected.

It is not used for lip augmentation, but, unlike Sculptra, Radiesse can be injected into the chin.

Vitamin injections for the face (mesotherapy)

Vitamin injections are also a fairly popular procedure among women. Their essence lies in the injection of a complex of vitamins into the skin. Mesotherapy treats inflammation, exfoliation, skin exhaustion, acne, bags and bruises under the eyes, weak epidersis.

Most often, the following vitamins are used for vitamin injections: A, E, C, K, group B. The course of treatment lasts 3-5 sessions and can be taken no more than twice a year. You can start procedures from the age of twenty, but doctors recommend waiting until you are 25-30 years old.

Contraindications

Vitamin injections cannot be performed in the following cases:

  • diabetes;
  • heart disease;
  • exacerbation of chronic skin diseases;
  • nephritis;
  • renal failure;
  • hypertension 3 degrees;
  • postoperative period;
  • gallstones;
  • last trimester of pregnancy;
  • lactation;
  • hemophilia;
  • oncology.

Botox is based on botulinum toxin, a toxin produced by the causative agent of botulism. When a person becomes infected with botulism, many of their muscles become paralyzed. This is the effect of botulinum toxin. It disrupts the conduction of electrical impulses along the nerves to the muscles, and the latter stop contracting. This property is used in cosmetology: with the introduction of small doses of botulinum toxin, the tone of facial muscles decreases and wrinkles on the face are smoothed out. In addition, Botox injections help tighten the shape of the face (Botox lifting). By the way, Botox is the name of the drug in America, which has become a household name in our country.

In Russia, other similar drugs based on botulinum toxin are used: French Dysport, German Xeomin and Chinese Lantox. Preparation for injections is somewhat different from that before other beauty injections.

The skin is also cleansed of cosmetics, but not anesthetized - this will reduce the effect of the procedure. However, anesthesia is not really necessary - very thin needles are used for injections, and the pain is practically not felt. Then the face is divided into zones into which injections are made. Botox is administered subcutaneously (to eliminate facial wrinkles) or intramuscularly (for deeper wrinkles, for example, on the bridge of the nose, as well as to tighten the oval of the face).

On average, the effect of the procedure lasts 3 – 6 months. The positive aspects of Botox injections include high efficiency and a wider age range (injections can be given from 18 to 65 years).

But there are also disadvantages: if injections are performed incorrectly, parts of the face may shift (for example, one corner of the mouth goes down, the other goes up). If you administer too much of the drug, the muscles will stop working completely and your face will look like a mask. In addition, Botox cannot work on the lower part of the face.

Botulinum toxin injections should not be given to pregnant women, as well as to patients with hemophilia and epilepsy.

Polycapronolactone

This substance has long been used in surgery as a material for self-absorbing sutures. The drug polycapronolactone is called. The mechanism of action, purposes and method of application are similar to Radiesse and Sculptra. Advantages of Ellans: instant and long-lasting effect (appears immediately after injections, lasts from one to four years), safety.

Among the disadvantages, a wide range of contraindications can be noted: pregnancy and lactation, oncological pathologies, blood clotting disorders, diabetes mellitus, herpes and other skin infections.

In addition to the above drugs for beauty injections, you can also give injections of the patient’s own plasma (plasmolifting) and ozone (ozone therapy).

Can it be done at home?

Beauty injections use medications, and the injection itself is a complex cosmetic procedure. Therefore, they must be performed in a medical facility and only by a high-level professional.

Consequences of beauty injections, why they are dangerous

Consequences from “injections of youth” can only appear if the instructions are not followed, as well as the procedure is carried out despite contraindications. In the first case, these are minor swelling and bruises that go away on their own. In the second case, the side effects may be more serious.

A little about the consequences in this video:

Here we briefly review the main drugs used as beauty injections. They have different properties: some tighten the oval of the face, others fight wrinkles, and others moisturize. A cosmetologist will help you choose the right drug; he will also describe the scheme of cosmetic injections and at what points to administer them. And we should not forget about contraindications, so before facial rejuvenation it is better to go to your doctor and take the necessary tests.

Mesotherapy is a very popular cosmetic procedure. It helps improve the condition and appearance of the skin by eliminating its imperfections: pigmentation, dryness, rashes, wrinkles, dull color, etc. This is because cocktails for facial mesotherapy have a wide variety of components. And if their composition is chosen correctly, you can get rid of many skin problems.

Why is it prescribed?

Beautiful glowing skin is not given to everyone by nature. Even in their youth, many people have various kinds of problems with it. Moreover, they arise with age. Poor ecology, poor nutrition, stress, and fatigue play a role in the deterioration of skin condition.
