You need to look in the windows for two cherished words: rebajas or offerta.

  • Inexpensive clothes and shoes of famous brands (for example, Zara or Bershka) in Madrid are easiest to find in the stores of the large chain El Corte Ingles, while luxury boutiques are located in the Salamanca district (Salamanca)

In Barcelona, for the purchase of designer items, it is recommended to visit the large La Roca Village outlet. It is 40 minutes from the capital of Catalonia, but with more than 130 boutiques and a wide selection, it is well worth the trip. Designer shops in the city itself are located in the L'Eixample and El Born districts.

Also in Barcelona, you can use a special Shopping Bus, so as not to beat your feet on many kilometers of shopping trips on foot. The 5 km route stretches from Plaza Catalunya (Plaça Catalunya) with its shopping mall El Corte Ingles to Pius XII (Plaça Pius XII). A special ticket for 7 trips in 2017 costs about 10 euros.

In Paris, it is recommended to make bargains with discounts not on the Champs Elysees. Fashion designer boutiques are located on Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

Surprisingly, quite affordable prices can be found in the shops on the fashionable Rue de Rivoli next to the Louvre. Do not forget about the Forum des Halles shopping center, where you can buy inexpensive clothes and shoes from H&M, Zara or Mango brands.

In Paris itself, it also makes sense to visit the Les Quatre Temps shopping complex in the Défense district (over 250 stores), and as for outlets in the suburbs, here are two for you: La Vallée Village near the town of Serris - this is next to the famous - and Quai des Marques in Franconville, northwest of the capital of France.

Going on vacation with an empty suitcase is not a sign of absent-mindedness, but of a passion for shopping. Since at least 2 times a year make millions of tourists. Sales in Europe tempt with the opportunity to buy luxury brand clothes for 200-300 euros. In addition, these novelties from the latest collections will reach the Russian shelves only in a year, or even two. Sales in Europe in winter are also good because they can often be combined with a New Year's Eve abroad. But keep in mind that sales dates in Europe depend not only on the country, but often on the region.

When do sales start in Europe?

Italy

When planning a shopping tour, many prefer Italian. Only in the first days of sales, 200 thousand people take to the streets of the fashionable city. This year, the shopping boom across the country kicks off on January 7th and will last for six weeks. Sales in Europe, by tradition, attract so many buyers that in the first days you can’t get into the fitting room. Therefore, most immediately go to the checkout. Christmas sales in Europe 2015-2016 will traditionally start with modest discounts. In Italy it is 10-30 percent. At this time, it is worth going if you plan to acquire accessories. At the end of the season, prices will drop to 70 percent, but in exclusive stores, discounts will remain at the level of 20-25 percent throughout the season. A round-trip flight for the second week of sales costs about 15,000 rubles.

France

Sales in Europe 2015-2016 will not bypass the trendsetter. In Parisian stores, price tags will become more modest on January 7th. By eight in the morning, a crowd of shopaholics will line up on Boulevard Haussmann, Avenue Montaigne and the Champs Elysees. When sales start in Europe, luxury brands also announce discounts, but they only apply to certain product groups. The collapse in prices will start from 20-30 percent and end at 70 in February. For Parisians, winter sales in Europe start even before the holidays. They prudently go around the shops, look after things and calmly buy them as soon as prices go down. You can follow their example if you arrive a couple of days earlier. On average, plane tickets can be bought for 12 thousand rubles.

Great Britain

Sales in Europe 2015-2016 will pick up and. There, prices will collapse on December 26-27. City of shoppers London has more than 30,000 stores. Which ones you need to visit while the winter sales are going on in Europe, magazines advise. Many publications make up a tour with store addresses, opening hours and expected discounts. In early February, the difference with the original price can reach 80 percent. A flight costs about 12 thousand rubles. Traditionally, while sales are going on in Europe, the concentration of shopaholics will go off scale on Oxford Street. Foggy Albion is also famous for Harrods. This department store is one of the largest and most expensive in the world. Apparently, this forces buyers a couple of days before the start of sales in Europe to move to a tent near the entrance to the building.

Germany

Christmas sales in Europe started in early December. Therefore, when sales begin in Europe, discounts reach their maximum sizes here. This season alone the shops are visited by 7 million people. Although it is better to go to, as you can buy things of any brand there. By the way, sales in Europe will cost less if you give preference to German stores. From Moscow, prices for flights to and from the attractive 10 thousand rubles.

Spain

And will join the Christmas sales in Europe. Fans of inexpensive Spanish brands come here. There are many in Russia, but things differ in quality. When sales start in Europe depends on the individual country. For example, in Italy and France, this is decided at the legislative level. There is no such thing here, and here the discounts will begin approximately on January 7th. You can take a shuttle to the favorite places of shopaholics. It departs every seven minutes from Plaza de Catalunya. Despite the fact that these are winter sales in Europe, it is worth remembering the siesta. Some shops close from 14:00 to 16:30. You can fly away and return to Moscow for an average of 12 thousand rubles.

Sales in Europe will be cheaper if you remember about. To do this, when making a purchase, you need to take a special check, according to which 10-15 percent of the cost of the goods will be returned upon leaving the country. From what amount you can return the tax, each country decides for itself. But the thing definitely cannot be used and all labels must be saved. Therefore, do not remove new clothes to the bottom of the suitcase.

Sales calendar in Europe at the "Subtleties of Tourism"

The main shopping destination of the entire planet, Europe, welcomes fans of fashion trends with the shopping streets of Paris, large-scale outlets in Milan and the sale hype in Spain. Twice a year, in winter and summer, here you can thoroughly and practically replenish your wardrobe with discounts of up to 70% - and not with some consumer goods, but with high-quality clothes from the world's leading fashion houses. Russian tourists, of course, could not miss such a celebration of life (especially given the unhealthy prices in Moscow and St. Petersburg boutiques) - and shopping tours for sales to Europe can easily compete in popularity with the famous European excursion or sea vacation. In general, sales in the Old World are held in January-February and July-August, but each country has its own peculiarities of conducting them, as well as useful features, knowing which you can save a lot on already low prices. We will share some of them.

Italy

The main shopping destination in Europe, Italy is the best boutiques with big names on the facade, impeccable style, sophistication and unchanging femininity of collections, which no, even the most advanced unisex, can shake. Italian clothing is synonymous with quality: the finest fabrics, perfect cuts and almost maniacal attention to detail.

The winter season of Italian sales starts on the first Saturday or on the first Monday of January - each region of Italy determines the exact dates on its own. The sales period is fixed - exactly 60 days. True, here, too, Italy shows its sunny softness, so familiar to it: in the regions of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Campania, for example, sales are delayed right up to March 31, and in Trento, retail stores have the right to independently set the sales period - the main thing is that their duration did not exceed 60 days.

Previous photo 1/ 1 Next photo

Summer sales in Italy also start on the first Saturday or the first Monday of July, after which a real feast of spending awaits fashionistas and fashionistas for 60 days.

There is no single sales schedule, as in Italy, in Spain - each region starts them based on its own considerations.

Spain

Spain is equally relaxed and happy shopping in its own way under the bright sun and accompanied by wine and gastronomic breaks, as well as carefree lying on the Mediterranean beaches. Spanish fashion houses are not as pompous and upscale as Italian or French ones, but they take the shopaholic with comfortable clothes made from natural fabrics, adapted for daily wear.

There is no single sales schedule, as in Italy, in Spain - each region starts them based on its own considerations. The flagship of the winter sales is usually Madrid: the capital of Spain starts selling the current collection from January 1st. From the first weekend of January, most of the Spanish provinces join it. But the winter sales end differently: Madrid - in early March, Valencia - in mid-March, and Galicia - in early April.

Previous photo 1/ 1 Next photo

Summer sales in Spain start the earliest in Barcelona - as early as June 1st. From the third week of June, Madrid joins the excitement, and the resort islands wait until the last: discounts start here only in July.

The duration of the sales is 3 months, and the discounts are constantly increasing: from the initial 15% to the final 70%. True, in this case, there are no more interesting things of running sizes, alas.

Sales in Paris begin on the second Wednesday of January and continue until mid-February.

France

Despite the age-old title of trendsetter, France is in no hurry to please shopaholics with large-scale discounts. "Buy French" is offered at normal prices, as they say, with an emphasis on bontonity and quality. Sales here are quite modest - they last about a month, and although prices are falling, they are far from Italian or Spanish revelry.

Winter sales in France start at the very beginning of January - the exact dates depend on the region. So, Nice invites buyers to low prices from January 2, but the sale will end in a month, in early February. Sales in Paris begin on the second Wednesday of January and continue until mid-February. The first "reset" of prices reaches 20%, then another one follows - up to 50%, and the third - up to 70-80% - is, alas, not applied everywhere.

Summer sales in France begin in the twentieth of June and last until the end of July. Their start is also unified for the whole country, but some regions are slightly ahead or, conversely, slightly late in relation to the official deadlines.

In Germany, winter sales begin long before the pan-European ones.

Germany

Shopping in Germany is a reflection of the national character: quality and quality are most valued, sometimes yielding to style, and the notorious order remains the main thing in sales. Here you can buy high-quality clothes and shoes, leather goods, watches and electronics. Discounts are quite moderate: 70% can be found far from everywhere, usually it is limited to 40-50%. But sales begin long before the pan-European ones.

The winter sales season in Germany begins in the tenth of December - officially two weeks before Christmas and continues until the end of January. In summer, shop windows begin to lure customers with discounts from the end of June, and the season reaches its maximum at the end of August.

Great Britain

Shopping in the UK is like the monarchy itself: sedate, unhurried and dignified. It is not customary here on the first day of sales to break into the shopping center like a crusader, sweeping everything in its path and dragging it to the checkout: the British will apologize twenty times for hitting you with their elbow, and then turn the conversation to annoying weather. However, this, of course, does not negate pleasant discounts and effective shopping trips.

Winter sales in the United Kingdom start in British punctuality: at 9 am on December 26th. They continue until the beginning of the last week of January. Discounts progress: from the initial 30% to the final 70%, however, large discounts are set on expensive goods from the very beginning - it makes sense to come early to the opening of the store.

By the way, in the UK they also hold a “trial” sale - pre-Christmas discounts last only a couple of days in the tenth of December.

Summer discounts in the UK start on the twentieth of June and also last one month. Considering that July is the traditional month of holidays in the Kingdom, and Londoners tend to go out into nature, this is a great way to shop, if not in half-empty, then at least not overcrowded stores.

Did you know that sales are also available in online stores. Learn how from "The Subtleties of Tourism" right from home.
