The pattern is simple, it is found in many collections of knitting patterns, among which there are those who are too smart with the scheme and description. But everything is elementary. There is an openwork strip from a group of alternating 4 yarn overs and 3 facial loops. The sample from this photo is knitted with fairly thin threads on bobbins (approximately 8/2, i.e. 400 meters in 100 grams) and knitting needles No. 2.
Since the knitting needles are thinner than the yarn manufacturer recommends, I made 2 yarn overs instead of one, but knitted them with one purl loop on the next row. Therefore, the openwork hemstitch turned out to be more openwork, and the dense stripes were more dense and convex.

This sample was knitted, on the contrary, with thicker knitting needles. The knitting turned out to be more "uniformly openwork". In this form, it can be used to make a border or knit gizmos in the Missoni style. small scallops of the lower edge can serve as a good design for a knitted fabric. You will need: yarn (100% cotton; 50 m / 50 g) - 900 (1100) g col. khaki sectional dyeing; knitting needles number 8; circular knitting needles No. 8; 2 buttons.
