From paper triangles, it looks as appetizing as the real one. Step by step instructions will help you achieve a good result.

How to make a banana in modular origami

For a banana, you need thick yellow and black paper. I make thin modules from 4x6 cm leaves.

Prepare:

  • 6 black triangles (how to do, described);
  • 516 yellow details;
  • a yellow strip of paper 4 cm wide for a branch.

Start assembling the banana with six black modules. Connect them with six more yellow ones by inserting the long ends into the pockets. The first row is ready. In fact, it consists of two rows of modules, but we will count it as one.

Now double the number of pieces in the row. To do this, proceed as follows. Insert one additional triangle into the gaps between the modules of the previous row and secure it on both sides with yellow modules, inserting the ends into the pockets. In total, you will be able to add 6 additional details. Total: 12 modules in a row.

In the 3rd row, increase the quantity to 15 parts by inserting an additional 3 triangles. Spread them evenly around the circle so that the banana is even.

Additions are over. Feel free to continue in a circle to put on yellow modules from the 6th to the 32nd row inclusive.

When you get to row 33, start cutting back on the pieces. Do it in the standard way - put the modules on three ends instead of two. In the 33rd row there will be 12 triangles, which means that 6 modules need to be put on three ends instead of two.

In 33-35 rows, 12 parts. The last two have 9 modules. So in the 36th, you need to close three parts again in a similar way. 37 row - final. For strength, it can be glued by lubricating the parts before putting them on.

To make the fruit take on a characteristic shape, bend the modular banana. It is easy to bend, but do it carefully so that the modules do not wrinkle or fall out.

It remains to attach a yellow branch. Roll a sheet 4 cm wide and 8 cm long into a tube. Glue one edge so that it does not unwind. Insert a branch into the hole at the end of the banana and secure with glue.

That's all. You can also collect other fruits: , , and for them. And all this from paper triangles familiar to us!

I wish you good luck in your work and good mood! Don't forget to subscribe for new articles! There are many more interesting things ahead!

The fruit set will be a wonderful cognitive toy for the baby. But if you are already an “adult” and have known all the fruits by heart for a long time, a bright paper still life will fill your room with summer freshness, adding spicy sourness to the interior.

Ripe bananas, fragrant citrus fruits, juicy strawberries and honey watermelon are far from all the fruits and berries that You and I will learn to design today. Pustunchik has prepared many paper fruit templates for you, but making them is equally easy and fast.

All you need: white sheets, scissors and glue.

Print color schemes of fruits on the printer, cut out and make bends along the dotted lines. Glue in the right places. Ready!

Let's take a closer look at the process of creating berries and bananas.

Look how appetizing berries, watermelon, lemon halves and kiwi look!
