- We started the search from yesterday evening, by nine o'clock we were in place, and at midnight we were only allowed to look for the child. About two hundred volunteers and volunteers entered the forest, until four in the morning we went around one territory, about two kilometers, and closer to five in the morning we returned to the headquarters. Then reinforcements arrived, they began to look for the child with the help of drones. By about seven o'clock, people from literally all over the country had already begun to come forward to help search. We divided into chains and began combing the forest, but it was all to no avail, ”recalls Artur.
Then the rescuers and the National Guard began to examine this territory. Volunteers without special training were asked to leave the forest for a while so as not to interfere. But Arthur was unable to sit back. Then, with a small company of comrades, he went to the place where the baby was lost in order to inspect the part where they did not have time to visit at night.
- We took the direction to the north-west, walked about two kilometers through the swamp, and went back the other way. And at some point I wanted to call Yaroslav, we began to shout: “Yarik! Yarik! ”, And then a real miracle happened - we heard a thin voice in response. At first they didn't even believe it! And then, twenty meters from us, they saw a boy. Emotions just can not be described in words! Arthur shares. - We ran up to him, wrapped him in our jacket, gave him a dry hat and socks, gave him hot tea with chocolate.
According to the volunteer, Yaroslav looked completely healthy and not even very scared.
“He behaved very well, like a real man,” Arthur admires. - I didn’t cry at all, I just said that they went for mushrooms, and then he got lost. It feels like he didn’t even notice that a whole day had passed - as if he got lost half an hour ago! And most of all, Yaroslav was surprised to learn how many people were looking for him, that even searches were carried out from a helicopter.
According to preliminary data, the child's state of health is quite satisfactory, but he was nevertheless taken by ambulance to the children's regional hospital for examination. After the examination, the doctors will decide whether the boy needs hospitalization.
The family pitched a tent, and the father and son went to fetch firewood. But soon the boy got bored of collecting branches, and he asked his mother. Then his father sent him alone through the woods. According to the man, the baby had to walk only 50 meters in a straight line. But Dima never came out to the tent.
The child was searched for 5 days. About 300 people went out to search. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police even used a drone and a thermal imager. But all was in vain. Rescuers feared that a bear could kill the boy. During the search, volunteers more than once stumbled upon the owner of the taiga. Once the clubfoot even stood on its hind legs, preparing for an attack. And now, when there was no hope left, the child was found alive.
As the volunteers say, the day before, traces of the boy were found in the forest. They were left after the rain - and therefore fresh. They immediately pulled all their forces to the place and began to intensively look for the child.
All the leadership ran to the cars, gathered all the military in buses and left. It was the first time there was such a noise. Fresh footprints were found very close to the place of his loss, the volunteers explain.

By three o'clock in the afternoon on June 11, the volunteers stumbled upon the first mark from Dima's boot. It was found three kilometers south near a swamp. By evening, a quadcopter found a bear and wild moose in the area.
On Monday morning, the volunteers continued to walk around the forest. The security forces took over the nearby residential area, as well as any holes, collapses of trees and buildings where the baby could hide.
By Monday evening, the fishermen were found, who on Saturday morning noticed the boy in the forest. But then they decided that everything was in order with the child. And he doesn't need help. Dima walked in the opposite direction from his handkerchief.
The fourth day of searching did not give any results either. During this time, the number of volunteers and security forces on the spot has grown to two thousand people. More than 150 square kilometers of forest have been explored. “Until the child is found, we will assume that he is alive,” the rescuers say and continue the search.
