The festival, which has already become traditional, will be held in the capital for the fourth time. Festive venues will be set up in all districts of Moscow - there will be 38 in total, 20 of which are in the city center (see the map above). More than 400 New Year's chalets will appear on the streets, where visitors will be treated to sweets and hot drinks and souvenirs will be sold. Traders from all over Russia, as well as foreign merchants from England, Denmark, France and the Czech Republic will present their goods at the fairs. Each site will be different from the next - Moscow will be divided into thematic "islands". Some places will be especially attractive for children: a fairy-tale fortress will be opened on Tverskoy Boulevard, sports workshops for children will be held on Tverskaya Square, and the largest ice slide in all of Russia will be built on the Revolution Square.

The first New Year's Fair in Moscow started in Sokolniki Park on November 17 at the Dance Veranda site. The traditional New Year's fair on Red Square will open on the same day as the GUM ice rink on November 29. This year the fair is dedicated to Moscow in the 1960s. 35 fabulous houses will be installed on the site near GUM, where you can try traditional Russian treats - pancakes with various additives, pies, sbiten with honey and tea from a samovar, as well as European dishes - grilled sausages, Viennese waffles, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. Visitors will be able to find Russian folk costumes, Gzhel, nesting dolls, felt boots and samovars, Zhostovo trays, Orenburg and Pavlovo Posad shawls, gingerbread and other goods from Moscow and the Moscow region at the fair. From Thursday to Sunday, visitors are promised to be entertained by musicians, dancers, clowns and magicians.

One of the most popular fairs in Moscow, the Seasons Christmas Fair, will be held in the Hermitage Garden for the seventh time. The theme of the fair of the outgoing 2015 will be Russian motives. Christmas Fair on Red Square
One of the first to open the central, main Christmas Fair Moscow. 23 cozy houses and shops will occupy almost 2,000 square meters of Red Square. Here you can buy New Year's toys, try traditional Russian cuisine, drink mulled wine with a Viennese waffle and eat all this with roasted chestnuts.
Also, two stages will be built on the square, from which live music and dance groups will perform from Thursday to Sunday. Other attractions include an ice slide in the shape of a huge cake (let's hope that a warm winter doesn't turn this into a water park) and a children's carousel.
New Year's Fair at VDNKh
Here you can find gifts from two dozen regions of Russia and CIS countries. The New Year's Bazaar will be located near pavilion No. 1 and will offer visitors a variety of decorations, Christmas decorations and decor items. And in the City of Fairy Tales, children will be able to get acquainted with characters from old cartoons, including the penguins Lolo and Pepe, Umka and mother bear and, of course, Santa Claus. On Industry Square there will be a clock counting down the time until the New Year.

This is undoubtedly the most famous New Year's fair in Moscow, because it is located in the heart of Moscow on Red Square.

"Snow Fair"
