Wreath of paper daisies

To make a do-it-yourself wreath of daisies, you will need green, yellow and white paper, scissors, a stapler, and PVA glue.

We make daisies for a wreath. From white paper cut into narrow strips 12-15 cm long and 0.8-1 cm wide. We need strips for chamomile petals. For one chamomile, 3 strips are required. In total, about 8 daisies are attached to our wreath.

First, fold three strips with each other with a snowflake. Bend the ends of each strip alternately towards the center and secure with a stapler in the middle.

From green paper, cut a strip about 3-4 cm wide and long to fit the head. From A4 paper, it is necessary to cut two strips and connect them together either with glue or with a stapler.

Glue or attach with a stapler chamomile on a green rim. Cut circles from yellow paper and stick them in the center of the chamomile. A wreath of colored paper daisies is ready.

A paper wreath of daisies can be used to decorate the head during folklore holidays, matinees in kindergarten.

Corrugated paper wreath

You will need corrugated paper in yellow and brown.

Cut out flower petals from yellow corrugated paper folded in several layers. We stretch each petal to give volume. Using PVA glue, glue the petals together in the center of the flower.

For the rim, cut out a strip of thick white paper 1.5 cm wide and a length equal to the circumference of the head plus 2 cm for fastening.

Cut a 2 cm wide strip from brown corrugated paper.

Apply PVA glue to the brown strip. We glue the white stripe with a brown stripe. Then glue the ends of the rim.

A bright flower wreath made of paper flowers is good because it does not fade. By choosing bright paper for its manufacture, you can also get an original accessory.

materials

  • Corrugated paper in different colors;
  • green wire of different thicknesses;
  • stencils with leaves and flower petals;
  • glue;
  • ribbon;
  • wire cutters;
  • scissors;
  • wax;
  • brush.

Step 1. Making paper chamomile

Cut the thicker wire into pieces of 4 - 5 cm. The number of pieces depends on the desired number of flowers in the wreath.

Cut green crepe paper into strips. Lubricate a strip of paper with glue and start wrapping it around the previously cut pieces of wire. With your fingers, hold the first turn of paper at the end of the wire, and wrap the paper itself tightly, guiding it diagonally. At the opposite end of the wire, also fix the paper with glue, and cut off the excess.

Cut orange corrugated paper into strips and, smearing it with glue, wrap the top of the blanks made. So, you will get stamens.

Fold a piece of white corrugated paper with an accordion and cut out a chamomile petal according to the template.

Unfold the workpiece, grease one of the ends with glue and start wrapping around the stamen.

Secure the flower with another strip of green paper.

Gently bend the flower petals with a pencil and fingers and straighten them. Chamomile is ready.

Step 2. Making a paper poppy

The poppy will have a slightly different stamen shape. Cut off a strip of pink paper. Cut it into strips, not cutting through a little to the end.

Lubricate the strip with glue and wrap it around one of the ends of the wire.

From orange crepe paper, cut out a rectangle with sides 7 x 13 cm. Fold the strip like an accordion and cut out the petals according to the template.

Lubricate the bottom of the strip with glue and wrap around the stamen. Fix the flower on the stamen with a strip of green paper. Spread the flower with your fingers, giving it a characteristic shape.

Step 3. Making a paper bell

The principle of making a bell stamen is the same as that of a poppy. With the only difference - the strip must be taken smaller and light yellow.

Wrap a strip of white paper measuring 5 x 5 cm around the stamen. Spread glue on the bottom of the strip and wrap it around the stamen. Strengthen the stem and spread the bell with your fingers.

Step 4 Making Leaves

Leaves are even easier to make. Templates cut out of green paper must be glued to the wire blanks. Give the sheets a shape by wrapping them with a pencil and straightening them with your fingers.

Master class headband with corrugated paper flowers

Take the wire and start wrapping it with green corrugated paper to make stems for future flowers.

Glue must be applied to the strips of paper so that they do not unwind.

After that, take a square of green corrugated paper, make cuts on one side. This will be the sepal. From yellow or orange paper, you need to cut a strip and wrap it around the stem.
Now you can start making a flower with your own hands.

To do this, you need a small rectangle of paper, which must be folded with an accordion. On one side, you need to cut the paper in a semicircle, and on the other, in triangles. Unfold the accordion and start winding the blank for the petals. Do not forget to grease the bottom with a little glue. Carefully unfold the petals and twist them lightly on a pencil. One flower is ready.

Using a similar method, cut a flower out of paper, but in a different color and shape. You can also change the shape of the stamens. Even bells will look original in a wreath, which will turn out from a regular rectangle glued on one side. The leaves can be made sharp and elongated.

Flowers can also be made from blanks that are easy to glue with a glue gun. Give the petals different shapes and straighten them to make them look like real ones. Collect ready-made flowers from small bunches.
After that, make a frame for a wreath out of wire, glue it over with corrugated paper too.

Then fasten the flowers in any order and the rim is ready!

1. Using wire, make a circle - the base for your wreath.

3. Cut a 1/2 inch wide strip of green crepe paper against the ridges (i.e. you will be cutting across the linear ridges of the crepe paper). Using hot glue, glue the end of one of these strips to your wire and wrap the wire around (approximately 7.5 centimeters).

4. Start adding leaves. Wrap the wire with the stem of the leaf and then 1 to 2 inches of green paper around the warp wire once or twice to start covering the wire with the stem. Add another leaf and repeat.
Repeat these steps adding more leaves, buds and flowers around the base. When you've completely filled in the circle, secure the end of your green paper strip with hot glue.

Instructions "How to make leaves":

1. Cut a 10 cm piece of flower wire.
2. Cut a 6cm strip of green crepe paper against the ridge (i.e. you will be cutting across the linear ridges of the crepe paper). Stretch the strip a little. Cut a strip of 4 centimeters.
Fold 3-4 rectangles together and cut out the shape of the leaves. The longitudinal dimension of the sheet should follow the ridge (i.e. the linear ridges of the crepe paper will follow the same direction as the long dimension of the sheet).

3. Apply a strip of hot glue from tip to tip of your sheet. Attach a 10cm piece of wire along this glue to give structure to the leaves and stem.

Place a cotton ball in the center of one of your pink crepe paper squares. Wrap the paper around the cotton swab, turning the edges and corners of the square down, tucking and turning it around the stem wire. Wrap the extra flower wire around the base with a cotton swab, pulling it tight enough to create a small bud shape.

4. Cut 1-2 strips of green crepe paper against the ridge (ie you will be cutting across the linear ridges of the crepe paper). The strip should be about 7.5 centimeters long. Hot glue the end of the strip around the base of the bud and wrap it around and down a few times to cover the flower wire.

5. Repeat the process for creating 6 buds.

Instructions "How to make a flower":

1. Follow steps #1-3 of the "How to make a bud" instructions. Create about 11 flower centers.
2. Cut 2.5 cm wide strips of various shades of pink crepe paper against the comb (meaning you will be cutting across the linear ridges of the crepe paper). The strips should be about 23 centimeters long. Use scissors and cut 1.25cm slits along the long side of the pink paper strips.

3. Wrap the fringe around the base of the flower. Then use your fingers to fluff up the fringe from the center of the flower.
