What are reiki

Now further. The form and state of the subtle-material shells of a person (as well as his physical body) is not static, but dynamic, i.e. constantly changing depending on the stresses that a person experiences, on the processes and situation in which a person is.

If we add the 4th dimension to the shells described above, i.e. time (t), then we will get the following subtle object of a higher plane of existence of matter (mental plane) - human memory body(in other words - Soul), which consists of a set of configurations of its shells in each quantum of time from the point of birth of a person to the present moment. The very Japanese meaning of the symbol Reiki consists of two Japanese words:

Japanese symbols are unusual letters, these are real ideograms, in which several meanings of the expression are encrypted at once, esoteric and official, mundane. In the usual translation, the word "Rei" means: "Universal."

Ki - life energy

Reiki Legend and Facts

Legend has it that the founder of the Reiki method at the end of the nineteenth century lived in Japan. He was the dean at Doshisha University and served as a Christian minister.

One day the students asked him about the healings of Jesus. They asked to explain and show how miraculous healings take place. But the doctor explained: he cannot give an exhaustive answer because he was not taught this.

Mikao Usui did not give up, returned to Japan, went around many monasteries, but nowhere could he find out about miraculous healings. After studying ancient scriptures and passing the ordeal at Mount Kuram, penance for twenty-one days, Mikao rediscovered the long-forgotten truth about healing by touch.

At the end of the twenty-first day of fasting and meditation, the Doctor saw a beam of light hit him on the forehead, then rainbow bubbles appeared before his eyes, in which the hieroglyphs of Ki power were written. These symbols still help to heal by touch and are an integral part of the Reiki system.

Three miracles that happened to Mikao Usui

The first miracle that happened to Mikao was that after twenty-one days of penance, he came to his senses and felt extraordinary lightness and strength. He was in a hurry to return to the monastery, stumbled, broke his toe in the blood. He grabbed it instinctively with his hands. The blood stopped oozing, the pain went away.

On the way, he stopped at a tavern. The daughter of the poor owner was crying from an unbearable toothache. Mikao placed his hands on her cheek, the pain was gone, it was the third miracle of the morning.

Over the next seven years, he healed people in the nearby slums, first healing the abbot of arthritis.

But healing only the bodies, Mikao began to look for an opportunity to heal the souls of patients.

After many years of searching, Mikao Usui chose the philosophy of Zen - to live in the present and not be attached to the results of his actions. How exactly does Reiki heal?
Here is what Mikao Usui said: “No one in the entire universe has initiated me into this method. I also didn't have to make any effort to reach supernatural healing energies. During the fast, I came into contact with a powerful energy and mystically received a secret insight - Reiki energy. So, by chance, I realized that I was given the spiritual art of healing. Despite the fact that I am the founder of this method, it is difficult for me to explain it more precisely. Medical and scientific research in this area has been carried out with great enthusiasm, but so far it has not been possible to reach a conclusion based on scientific medicine. It will be a while before Reiki meets science.” And he also said that “with the energy of Reiki, our spirit becomes like God or Buddha, thereby healing our human being. Thus, by becoming like the Buddha, we make ourselves and others happy.”

How is Reiki different from other healing methods?
Probably the quality of his energy. There are many different healing energies and one of them is Reiki. It belongs to the universal life energies, it has everything to heal what needs it. The method itself is very easy to use, does not require high spiritual achievements or advanced degrees of awareness from its follower. If for healing a person needs to realize something, then Reiki will help to realize it, if this is not necessary, then the person will simply receive healing, and awareness will be possible at his personal request.
Reiki is a gentle, non-violent method. Energies go where the person himself lets them go. If the patient has requested healing, but cannot let the energy into his problem, then reiki will lead the patient to a place where they can provide the necessary assistance.
If the raker has problems that he cannot solve on his own, then the best way out here is to start treating other people. By healing another, the raker heals himself. Synchronization in this is amazing. Patients are sometimes selected in such a unified way that one would like to call it a miracle.
I also like the fact that there is a built-in security system - being in Reiki it is impossible to harm others, in the most extreme case, Reiki will go to the healer himself to explain to him what he is wrong about.
It is due to these features that Reiki is suitable for everyone, without exception, for everyone who wants to receive healing or wants to learn how to heal himself.

How can, relatively speaking, use Reiki in everyday life?
Reiki can be learned, it can be treated and it can be treated. You can be a patient, or you can become a student of the first stage, then the second, then the third.

How is the treatment carried out technically?
The main method of the first stage is healing by laying hands on the body (one's own or the patient's) sequentially from the crown to the heels or from the top to the roots. There are recommended hand positions for a general Reiki session, as well as for the treatment of specific diseases or an express session with a limited time. In addition, hands are also placed in the way that Reiki and intuition suggest during the session. The duration of the total session is about an hour and a half.
At the second stage, the raker can conduct remote sessions. Those. the patient is at home, the healer is at home, but at a certain time one sends energy / session, and the second receives it. It is also possible to heal with the help of some improvised means: using stones and crystals, from a photograph, from a phantom, with or without symbols, etc. The techniques of the second stage are varied, and they work with what is more convenient for someone.
The third step in healing techniques does not differ from the first two. The main difference here is in the quality of immersion in the very space of the reiki. It's hard to describe, you have to experience it yourself.

Education.
If a person wants not only to be treated, but also to independently heal with the help of Reiki, then he undergoes an initiation into Reiki from the master and training in the basic techniques of healing and meditation. These are several classes (four or six, depending on the people gathered), preferably in a group, where there is an opportunity to immediately practice assault and other techniques, if this is the second step, on comrades.
At the first step we learn to hear and feel the flow, diagnose with hands and other parts of the body, learn to trust Reiki and follow it.
On the second step we are entering new energy frontiers - the quality and quantity of the transmitted energy is changing dramatically, we are studying the aspects of reiki, learning remote work, phantom diagnostics and photography. At the advanced second level, the so-called "Reiki Two Plus", we study different directions: Kundalini Reiki, Celtic, etc., etc., depending on the wishes of the group.
On the third step there are two sub-levels: master healer and master teacher (one who can already teach others). This is again an energy upgrade and an exit to free swimming in the spaces of Reiki.

Once I came across such an example explaining the difference between the steps:
at the first step, the master opens the door in front of the student and says: “here, this is reiki”,
at the second stage, the master hands the keys to the student and he opens the door himself,
and on the third step there are no keys, no doors, no master.
