PVA glue or “Moment”;
glue gun;
felt, scraps of fabric, matting;

red ribbon 2-2.5 cm wide;

In this article I want to share with you options for decorating New Year's champagne. But beauty can be created not only with champagne, but also with any other bottle, for example, wine, liqueur or vermouth - it depends on which drink you like.

So, there are many ways to decorate a bottle, from the simplest to the whole process. I'll start with the simplest ones, which you can handle even with your child.

SIMPLE JEWELRY.

For those who don’t like or can’t decorate, there are many ready-made New Year’s items on sale - these are all kinds of hats, Santa Clauses and snowmen. All you need to do is buy them!

BOTTLE WITH GLITTER.

Another simple way, you can decorate the bottle with glitter, sequins, buttons, beads or even simple salt.

To do this, you will need:

glue, I use regular PVA. But for beads and buttons you will need super glue;
sparkles, sequins or any other small decor (can be bought in stores that sell beads);
brush (for coating the bottle with glue).

You can also make glasses for table decoration in this way, if you do not intend to use them for their intended purpose.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS.

In simple ways, I decorate the bottle with small toys and Christmas decorations. I buy ready-made compositions in the store and tie them to the bottle with ribbon.

DECORATION WITH PAPER.

This is not just wrapping a bottle in paper, but a decoration. You don't need any special skills.

You will need:

paper, I take crepe paper (we called it reaper in childhood);
glue (super glue or glue gun);
New Year's decorations, ribbons.

We wrap the bottle with paper, first the top part, then the main part. We rewind the entire surface with a thin ribbon and tie the decorations. You can even take regular rain and Christmas tree decorations.

You can use any other paper you have. I even use packaging.

And from thick paper, buttons and ribbons you can make a Christmas tree and no one will guess that there is a bottle there.

CANDY GIFT.

But my favorite option is decorating a bottle of candy. This also makes a delicious gift.

For this gift option, prepare:

any candy, but I prefer chocolate;
narrow tape;
packaging bow or satin ribbon.

We prepare the candies - attach tape to each candy, then cover the bottle with it in a circle. We tie a bow or ribbon at the top.

But I especially like the “pineapple” design.

For this option, choose yellow candies and you will also need green paper. We glue the candies in the same way as in the previous version or with double-sided tape, only in the upper part we attach leaves cut out of paper.

You can glue the candies using a glue gun. Just make sure that the champagne is warm.

Another way is to make rows of rain between the candies. So the bottle will look like a Christmas tree.

DECORATION WITH PIECES OF FABRIC OR PAPER.

Bottles become voluminous and fluffy if you decorate them with pieces of fabric or paper.

For this option, cut the paper or fabric into even squares, fold it into an envelope, secure the corner with a stapler and glue the middle to the bottle in a circle. We decorate the upper part with ribbon or rain. You can also glue candies and beads between the rows.

DECOR WITH Ribbons.

When you can make the previous options, you can move on to decorating with ribbons.

To do this you need to prepare:

satin ribbon of several colors, 2.5 centimeters wide;
brocade ribbon;
tube of super glue;
new Year decoration.

We take a satin ribbon, measure as much as necessary, cut it and glue it to the bottle.

We measure the tape again, because the neck widens towards the bottom, which means the length of the tape will be different. Thus, we make four rows.

Then, we also glue 2 layers of brocade tape.

Then, we decorate the bottle from the bottom. We make a row of brocade ribbon, and several rows of satin ribbon to the top.

We seal the edges for beauty.

And we complete the decoration with a brocade ribbon.

Glue a New Year's decoration to the edges of the ribbon. And that's it - our beauty is ready.

If you can't find glitter, use small pieces of colored paper or confetti.

If you don’t know how to make crafts or sew, then purchase a ready-made option in the store for decorating a New Year’s bottle of champagne. They are very diverse! These are bright hats, funny Santa Clauses and snow-white snowmen.

But such “clothing” for a bottle costs quite a bit of money... It turns out that it is much cheaper to sew such decoration yourself. So, in addition to decorating the New Year’s bottle, you will also give a piece of the warmth of your hands!

To do this, take:

material of different colors;
braid for decoration;
scissors, needle and thread;
decorative buttons and snowflakes.

For work, it is most convenient to use fleece or felt. With this material, the cuts remain smooth and there is no need to further process them.

Step 1. Prepare two rectangular patterns. For a cap measuring 15 by 14 centimeters. And for the base (shirt) - a blank measuring 28 by 14 centimeters.

These sizes fit a standard champagne bottle. If you are decorating a bottle of a different size, then you will need to take measurements. Using a measuring tape, measure the circumference of the bottle at its widest part (for the shirt). And for the cap, measure the neck. The height of the blanks can be left the same (for a cap 15 cm and a shirt - 14 cm).

Step 2. Fold the large rectangle in half, right sides facing each other. On the wrong side, stitch or hand stitch the edges of the workpiece along the height.

The cap also needs to be sewn. To do this, fold a small rectangle with the wrong side up and stitch along the indicated line.

Turn the workpiece inside out. You should end up with a base like this for the cap.

We cut off the excess parts.

As a result of these actions you will receive the following blanks:

New Year's decor;
glue gun and scissors.

Step 1. You will need a large sheet of craft paper. Place the bottle of champagne with the neck on one of the corners of the paper. Wrap the bottle and cut off the excess according to its height. Glue the free edge. You should now have a removable cone for decorating the champagne.

NEW YEAR'S CHAMPAGNE WITH TOYS.

To make such a Christmas tree you will need materials:

crepe paper or plain colored paper (two colors);
scissors and glue gun;
bottle of champagne.

Step 1. Wrap the bottle in corrugated paper. It should completely cover the glass from the bottom to the neck of the bottle. This is necessary to make a basis for connecting the paper needles.

Cut out squares from green paper. Their size will determine the splendor of the tree, everything depends on your desire. Fold the square diagonally, then again in the same way. The corner of the workpiece should be located in the center of the square. Glue it together or staple it. This is necessary so that the base for the needles does not open and keeps its shape.

For greater splendor of the Christmas tree, you can use two squares at once. Just before folding it with a corner, position the workpieces offset with respect to the corners.

Step 2. Now you need to decorate the bottle. Start gluing the paper blanks from the bottom in a circle. Before the next circle, glue candies or New Year's decorations. This additional decoration will look like Christmas tree decorations.

If you don’t like to sew and make voluminous Christmas tree compositions, then this method of decorating a bottle of champagne for the New Year is just for you. This is the easiest way to decorate a bottle, which does not require any special skills from you.

To decoupage a New Year's bottle of champagne, prepare:

champagne;
napkins with a New Year's pattern for;
primer, glue, brushes and sponge;
contours that are used for glass;
acrylic paints;
satin ribbons;
decoupage varnish (acrylic or matte).

Step 1. Soak the bottle completely in water until the labels on it can be easily removed. We leave the foil on the neck only near the lid. Wipe off any remaining glue with a sponge and leave the bottle to dry completely.

Step 2. Apply primer to dry glass. This is most conveniently done with a sponge. Dip it into the primer and gradually blot it onto the glass. Wait until the soil dries.

Step 3. At this time, prepare a napkin for decoupage. Carefully remove the top layer of the napkin (from the side where the design is located). Tear off the edges of the napkin to hide the cut line on the paper. This will hide the smooth transition on the decor of the New Year's bottle.

Step 4. At this stage, glue the napkin with the pattern onto the bottle. Apply decoupage glue to the primer and attach the paper. Blot the top of the design well with a clean sponge. This will avoid air bubbles and wrinkles.

Step 5. Mix acrylic paints so that the shade matches the background color on the napkin. Using a sponge, apply the resulting color to the bottle where there is no glued paper. Try to go a little over the uneven edges of the napkin to hide the transition from the ground to it.

Step 6. Draw a ceramic or glass outline onto the design lines. The most beautiful contours are on clothes. Use different colors to achieve a 3D effect.

Step 7 After you have applied the outline, let it dry completely. Then spray the entire surface of the bottle with varnish. For a glossy finished bottle surface, use acrylic varnish. Or matte varnish, for a calmer design on the bottle. Let it dry thoroughly.

Step 8 To hide the unsightly transition from foil to New Year's decor, wrap a ribbon around the neck of the bottle. Tie its edges with a bow.

Step 3. Cut out pineapple leaves from corrugated paper. They must be different sizes to create a bun. Make the bottom edge of each leaf even and stick it on a long strip of tape. Then wrap the paper around the neck of the bottle, starting with large sheets. Additionally, decorate the transition line between the candies and leaves with braid or decorative rope.

You can make a pineapple much easier if you use a glue gun or super glue instead of tape. But in this case, make sure that the glass of the bottle is at room temperature. Otherwise, hot glue may cause cracks in the glass! Instead of braid, you can tie a fluffy bow on the bottle.

First, remove the label from the bottle. Do not touch the top part with foil. Don't overdo it, because champagne shouldn't be warm!
Now we wrap the untouched part with masking tape. This is necessary to protect the coating.
We take a sponge and start painting the working surface with titanium white. We wait until the first layer dries and proceed to the second. We fix the result of the work with varnish.
Now we need the top layer of napkin for decoupage. We tear off the selected part of the pattern we need with our fingers. This is necessary so that it is then easy to hide the border between the picture and the general background.
Glue the picture to the bottle. This can be done using varnish or PVA glue (previously diluted with water). To do this, apply a napkin and apply varnish or glue onto it with a brush using neat strokes, avoiding the formation of folds.
