Hello Hello!
Getting acquainted with the community, I decided to present my handicrafts - bags made of burlap, and of other natural materials. And burlap is my separate, fiery love, well, I’m very partial to it! She is so indifferent that her absence at some point made me persuade my husband, and this is not the easiest occupation, to make me a loom. Having received this miracle (to read without a smile) - indeed a wonderful miracle!, I naturally sat down for weaving. Well, and then it’s clear - weaving a BAG! Rather, a bag made of jute thread (this is the one that is the first in the photo). And only my husband’s thoughts about the delights of house building, apparently inspired by my appearance at the machine, sometimes make me stop for other activities. But the "woven" disease progresses, another bag is woven from strips of fabric - linen and wool (the last photo is a "basket bag"), and the central part of the sun bag is generally a mix, and fabric and threads.

We present a gallery of works by Natalia Shmigelskaya. The master works in the most interesting Crazy-vul technique, which is now rapidly gaining fans around the world.

Crazy Wool - "Crazy Thread" - this is how the name of this amazing technique is translated. And indeed, only a little “abnormal” craftswomen can create Crazy-vul things! After all, Her Majesty Fantasy takes everything into her own hands here.

Crazy Wool is a kind of yarn drawing. This is creativity. And in the process of work, the master can repeatedly change the initial plans. They started to make “morning freshness”, but it turned out “midday heat”. 🙂

One thing is clear: a thing made using the Crazy-vul technique will arouse the genuine interest of your girlfriends and the envy of your rivals. Surely you will be asked more than once to take off your scarf (jacket, stole) in order to examine, stroke, feel and ask: “How is it done ?!”

And you smile mysteriously and ...

All items shown in the gallery can be ordered. The master will take into account all your wishes (colors, size, style, additional decorative elements, etc.)

The price depends on the cost of consumables and the complexity of the model.

So, we give the floor to the master - Natalia Shmigelskaya.

Vests and jackets

Vests are a different story! I dream of creating my own Vest Collection. Agree, the vest looks great with jeans, and with a skirt, and with trousers.

My greetings to all needlewomen. Crazy Vul - what is it? A new interesting technique for creating beautiful clothes. It's time to learn how to dress in a new way, and for this we will learn all the secrets of technology.

New technique - "crazy wool"

To dress fashionably and beautifully, it is not necessary to buy expensive clothes. Let's learn a new technology for making wardrobe items called crazy wool. If translated from English, you get "crazy wool." What is this technique?

When mastering the technique, non-woven knitwear is created, from which you can then sew anything you like - from a blouse to a coat.

Advantages of the Crazy Wool technique

  1. It will take not so much time to create an unusual wardrobe than to knit things, and it will take much less thread.
  2. Crazy Wool clothes can be worn by women with very sensitive skin. She will not scratch the body, as woolen blouses or dresses do.
  3. You don't have to know how to knit!
  4. Ease of execution.

Sequence of work

To get a working canvas, you need to take knitting threads. These can be trimmings or remnants of threads of different thicknesses and textures. Scraps of fabric are suitable, which in the course of work can be knitted into a pattern. Pieces of wool for felting, threads for sewing will be suitable.

You will also need the following materials:

  • Water-soluble stabilizer for embroidery;
  • Spray fixative.

Stabilizer is a translucent fabric that can be purchased at embroidery stores. You will also need a sewing machine. For beginners, you can create an openwork scarf.

  • Lay out the piece of stabilizer according to the size of the product that you plan to make. If the product is complex, then the stabilizer must be cut according to the pattern.
  • Then a fixative should be sprayed onto the surface of the stabilizer.
  • To create a pattern on the stabilizer, you need to lay out the threads. In the first layer, the threads are laid out in a chaotic manner.
  • The second layer of threads is also laid out randomly. If you would like to draw. Then already in the second layer, start laying out its outlines with threads of the color you need.
  • The third and all other layers are laid out in accordance with the selected pattern. Here you should already maintain the selected color. How many layers of thread will be required? It all depends on the complexity of the image. For a simple openwork scarf, you will have to apply only 5 layers of threads.
  • So, you have already laid out the required drawing, now fix it with a fixative or hairspray. After that, cover the product with another layer of stabilizer on top.
  • Stitch the resulting fabric on a typewriter in any direction. Make the distance between the seams no more than 2 cm, and if the ornament is small, then 1.5 cm or even less.
  • Dip the stitched product in warm water to dissolve the stabilizer.
  • Wait until the product is completely dry, only then crochet the edges or process with a suitable braid.

The crazy wool style is not only used to create clothes. It is perfect for making accessories of rare beauty. Graceful handbags or gloves will not allow you to go unnoticed. Try making pillows for a sofa or tablecloth, you will immediately notice how your room has come alive.

Almost no style of skirt is complete without a fastener. To get it right…

A children's skirt will look great.

To make a throw for the sofa, use a mesh or fabric, not a stabilizing film. The threads will hold better on the fabric. The grid can serve as a background or become the bottom layer.

With a grid, all things will turn out to be the same openwork. But on the fabric you get pretty dense gizmos.

Today, all creative people will certainly consider how to make an unusual accessory or decor item, because the possibilities of crazy vulture have no limits!

Today we will tell you how to make an openwork scarf using the Crazy Wool technique. This is a scheme that, having mastered it, you can move on on your own, exalting your vision, combining crazy wool with other needlework. This, in fact, is a man-made fabric from which you can sew everything that your fantasy tells you.

1. This is the scarf we should end up with. But you can take threads of other colors and your own pattern, and using this technique, create your own exclusive autumn scarf.

So, let's begin!

2. The scarf is based on a pattern of butterflies. In order to realize this idea, you need to draw a future pattern on an A4 sheet, and then transfer it to a sheet of water-soluble paper (it is also a stabilizer). In this master class, ordinary tracing paper was used for the base, since the stabilizer of the required size was not at hand. Please note: the pattern must be transferred to a water-soluble sheet or tracing paper on both sides.

3. The material for creating a scarf are knitting threads. You can also use leftovers: even threads of different thicknesses and completely different textures will do. Also, for such work, wool for felting, shreds of fabric (they can be woven into a pattern) and threads for sewing to match the product can be useful. We begin to lay out a woolen thread along the marked lines. In order to lay out such intricate patterns, use PVA glue to glue the thread along the contour and among themselves. Then we fall asleep the pattern itself with white threads. We fix each new layer with glue from a can, but you can replace it with ordinary hairspray.

4. For this scarf, white threads of two types were used: cotton and wool mixture. As well as orange, yellow, beige and black wool.

5. If your workplace is shorter than the future scarf, then the work becomes a little more complicated. Whoever has a larger table or a smaller scarf, you can safely proceed to step 7. Cover the layers of threads on top with a layer of stabilizer. Who does not know - this is such a water-soluble paper. You can easily find it at any craft store.

6. Then start basting gently. Please note that we do not make knots at the end of the thread. Wrap the finished edge and continue to do the same steps along the entire length of the future product.

7. After the pattern is laid out along the entire length, fix it with a layer of stabilizer, carefully tacking water-soluble paper along the entire length of the future product.

8. Now we move on to the process of sewing on a sewing machine. It is necessary to stitch the entire product along and across. The result should be squares of about 1 cm by 1 cm. It is advisable not to skimp and do not make squares larger than 1.5 cm! Threads are best taken in a neutral color.

9. The next and easiest step after stitching the fabric on a sewing machine is, of course, removing the stabilizer if it was used on both sides. If on the one hand, as in this master class, there was a layer of tracing paper, then you need to remove it manually. Dip an almost finished scarf into warm water (30 ° C) and rinse the future product until the stabilizer dissolves. Then dry it.

10. You can also add brushes to the scarf.

11. Here is the finished scarf. Such a product looks beautiful, stylish and attracts the attention of others, and also gives the owner of the scarf a sense of exclusivity. Plus, it's incredibly warm. The size of the scarf with tassels turned out: 30 by 170 cm, but you can make this according to your preferences.

How do you like this stylish and practical find for autumn? In addition, using this technique, you can also create other warm things for the fall. For example, a stole or even a coat.

Crazy Wool Scarf Ideas:

Crazy vul (translated as a crazy thread) - very interesting
technique! The result is fantastic! And the speed of production of new clothes pleases)

The crazy vul technique uses soluble interlining, adhesive spray (craftswomen sometimes replace spray with hairspray) and threads from cotton to wool!

and the result can be a scarf, tunic, jacket, jumper dress or even a coat.

MK: Details for a coat in the Crazy-Wool technique. MK Elena Anfinogenova

For several years now I have been working in this wonderful technique - “Crazy-vul”.

The technique is truly limitless for imagination, and the models and the play of colors fascinate the eye.

Of course, it is impossible to tell the whole process of sewing a coat in one master class, so I will use the example of a sleeve to show how I make details for a coat.

For a crazy coat you will need:

- water-soluble interlining or Avalon brand Guterman or Madeira;

- the usual thinnest interlining (I use covering material);

- coat pattern;

- silk for lining;

- a sketch of the drawing (optional);

- sewing machine;

- threads to match the main yarn, pins, scissors.

Stages of work on the coat:

1. Production of parts - blanks from which a coat will be cut out. To do this, we take an insoluble non-woven fabric and make a workpiece larger for the future part by 5-7 cm (on all sides), not reaching the bottom by 15-20 cm. From the soluble we make the same workpiece, but only already the length of the entire future part 20cm We begin to spread on the part where the insoluble interlining is joined with the soluble. That is, the inner part of the sleeve will be, as it were, with a substrate on an insoluble interlining, which in turn will prevent its further deformation during wear.

2. We begin to lay out the drawing. Sleeve example:

We do the same for all the details. And we sew on the machine arbitrarily with a very frequent line.

3. We erase the resulting blanks to completely dissolve the interlining.

4. We cut out the details of the coat according to the patterns. We process slices on an overlock.

7. Let's start sewing a coat.

8. We cut out according to patterns from silk for lining the details. We sew lining.

9. We connect the sewn coat with the lining.

10. We make buttonholes. The coat is ready.
