On knitting needles 5 mm with thread C, dial 79 sts with an Italian set and knit 4 rows with a hollow elastic band, then 10 rows with a garter pattern, continue knitting with jacquard, decreasing 1 st on each side in each 16th row 5 times.

After 30 cm from the elastic band for the armholes, close 3 sts at the beginning of the next. 2 rows. Next, decrease by 1 p. on each side: 2 p., broach (remove 1 p. as individuals, 1 p. and stretch it through the removed one), at the end of the row - 2 p. together, individuals., 2 p. Repeat a series of decreases in each person. 2 more times. When the armhole measures 19 cm, finish knitting in the 2nd or 6th row of the pattern and cast off 57 stitches.

Left shelf

On knitting needles 5 mm, dial 40 p. At an armhole height of 9 cm for a neckline in the next. out.r. close 5 p. at the beginning of the row, follow the next. persons.r. and at the beginning of the next close 3 more sts of the row. Next, decrease by 1 st in the neckline in each 2nd row 3 times. After 19 cm from the beginning of the armhole, close 18 sts of the shoulder.

Knit the right shelf of the jacket symmetrically to the left shelf.

Sleeves

On knitting needles 5 mm with thread C, dial 40 p. And knit the cuff as a bar for the back, then continue with the pattern, while in the 1st row evenly add 11 p. = 51 p. After that, add 1 p. On each side in each 10th row 9 times. After 36 cm from the cuff for the sleeves, close 3 sts at the beginning of the next. 2 rows, then decrease by 1 p. on each side in each person. 3 times, then in every 4th row 7 times, then in every 2nd row 2 times. Jacquard patterns are a very popular knitting style for warm clothes, which the older generation remembers with nostalgia, and young people are happy to prove that this is an ageless classic for all cold times.

Feature of the jacquard pattern- repetition of the same pattern made in contrasting colors throughout the knitting. In addition, the pattern in this style can be only one for the entire product, as is often the case in the children's version of knitting.

In knitting a jacquard pattern, there are no "cunning" loops and super-complex plexuses, although some ornaments are really difficult to perform, especially for beginner needlewomen. Experienced knitters love jacquard patterns for the ability to combine a variety of motifs, and often make up their own unique ornaments.

The classic ornament is known to everyone: deer, Christmas trees, snowflakes, diamonds and braids. Professionals call it Norwegian patterns and meander patterns. Therefore, jacquard patterns are often chosen for warm sweaters, socks, hats, mittens, pullovers, scarves. "Funny" motifs with animals and plants look equally great on adults, teenagers and children. And how they cheer up and complement the festive atmosphere in the New Year's fuss!

Knitting patterns for jacquard patterns with knitting needles with diagrams and descriptions

Jacquard patterns are knitted according to counting patterns, in which one cell is one loop, and each character is a certain thread color. Patterns are knitted according to the scheme from the bottom up.

What are the features of knitting jacquard patterns with knitting needles? They are knitted with the front stitch, and the threads of the desired color must be used both in the front and in the wrong loops. Thus, the pattern we need will appear on the front side, and on the wrong side characteristic broaches and weaves of yarn will appear. Edge loops in multi-colored rows are knitted in two colors at the same time.

There is also a way to describe how to knit a jacquard pattern with knitting needles without broaches. Consider it using the example of a simple jacquard pattern.

Classic snowflake with knitting needles without broaches

For work you will need:

We take 2 threads contrasting in color with each other.

The threads along the entire length must be made of the same high quality yarn. It is important to make sure in advance that the colors of the threads do not fade.

Progress:

We collect 23 loops with knitting needles and two more edge loops, as a result we get 25. The first row of the scheme is knitted in the wrong way, only with blue yarn. The final edge loop is knitted simultaneously with two thread colors. Further, when work will take place with subsequent rows, it is imperative to knit the edge loops in the manner described above.

This method will allow you to keep the tension of the threads along the edges of the product and will not allow vertical broaches to form. Starting to knit the front row with knitting needles, it is necessary to remove the edge loop. Now two threads will be involved at the same time, which should alternate.

In the diagram figure, you can see that the first loop is knitted in yellow. To knit without broaches, this thread is captured from the other side, imitating the binding of blue yarn, although it is located closer. We knit this loop and pull up two threads so that the product is of good density.

Then we start knitting in blue. This thread is located a little further from the needle than yellow yarn. To create this loop, you need to draw the knitting needle to the right under the yellow one, grabbing the blue one and knitting it. After each loop is formed, the thread should be tightened.

The following steps will be simple, based on the drawing of the diagram and avoiding broaches, follow the same rules as described above in the text. Be sure to knit the edge loops with two threads at once. By following these not tricky rules, you can knit a beautiful and dense product with a beautiful pattern. In the presented photos, you can see the wrong side and the front side of the knitting.

Easy patterns for beginners

Jacquard patterns are considered fairly simple among other knitting methods, but even among them there is a separate special category for beginners - simple ones. To make it easier for beginner knitters, we have collected simple jacquard patterns with knitting needles, diagrams and descriptions for which are more than available.

jacquard zigzag

This two-color zigzag is knitted according to the following simple description:

Rapport of 16 loops + 2 edge.
In height, repeat the pattern from 3 to 14 rows.

Two tone jacquard slanted stitch pattern

Pattern Description:

Rapport 3 loops + 1 loop for balance + 2 edge

  • 1st row: (thread A) facial loops.
  • 2nd row: (thread B) * purl 2, remove 1 loop - thread before work, * purl 1.
  • 3rd row: (thread B) 1 front, * transfer 1 loop to the auxiliary knitting needle before work, 2 front, knit the front loop from the auxiliary knitting needle *
  • 4th row:(thread A) 1 purl, * remove 1 loop - thread before work, 2 purl, *
  • 5th row:(thread A) * transfer 2 loops to the auxiliary knitting needle at work, 1 front, knit the front loops from the auxiliary knitting needle * 1 front.
  • 6th row: repeat from the second row.

Drawing for children

Jacquard knitting patterns for children are also rich in a variety of patterns. It can be either simple cartoon pictures embroidered on sweaters, hats, mittens, socks, or themed patterns for all occasions.

Christmas trees openwork

Pattern report 12 loops. It is necessary to repeat the pattern according to the scheme from the 1st to the 20th rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern of the canvas, purl the yarns. Knit two loops together with knit with a slope to the right. The pattern looks good in both dark and light colors.

We knit with knitting needles according to the scheme:

Jacquard fox pattern

To knit one or more fox patterns for 32 loops, you need:

Knit with front stitch according to the counting pattern from individual cubes. In the presented diagram, only the front rows are shown. In the purl rows, knit according to the pattern. When changing colors, constantly cross the threads on the wrong side. This is necessary so that no holes are formed.

Act according to the scheme:

Lazy jacquard patterns

Another variety of simple jacquard patterns is lazy. Often this is the simplest repeating ornament. Many lazy patterns are knitted according to the principle: every two rows of the same color, after which the ball changes. The pattern itself is born after pulling the loops from other rows. Here are some lazy jacquard knitting patterns with diagrams.

Lazy Jacquard Stripes

The diagram shows the front and back rows. The letters indicate the colors of the thread.
In height, repeat the rapport from 1 to 22 rows. Rapport in width 2 loops + 1 loop before rapport + 1 loop after rapport + 2 hem.

Explanations for knitting a lazy jacquard pattern:

Each row is knitted with a thread of the main color, while the loop corresponding to the thread of a different color is not knitted, but removed, the working thread remains behind the loops. In knitted "lazy" patterns, each loop, each row is listed in strict order. Having knitted the specified number of rows, they return to the first and all operations are repeated.

Only the front rows are indicated in the diagrams, since the purl in all patterns of this type are knitted according to the same rule: the loops knitted on the front in the previous odd row are knitted in the same color, and the loops removed in the previous row are removed again without knitting, and the working thread should go over the loops.

The letters A and B opposite the first rows of the scheme indicate the color of the thread, which knits two paired rows: front and back. For example, the 1st and 2nd rows are knitted with a thread of color A, while the loop indicating color B is removed, the thread on the front side remains at work, on the wrong side - before work. Further, the colors of the thread alternate every two paired rows.

The patterns begin with knitting a pattern, so the two initial rows must be knitted with a thread of color B. If desired, not two, but more colors of yarn can participate in the pattern, but the principle of alternating colors remains unchanged.

Lazy jacquard honeycomb

For knitting this pattern, yarn of two colors is used. Every two rows are knitted in one color according to the following scheme with a description:

Patterns for a sweater

A jacquard sweater is a winter hit for all time, because such things never go out of style. Jumpers with snowflakes, deer, Christmas trees and all kinds of geometric shapes are already strongly associated with the New Year holidays, along with the "Irony of Fate", champagne and the smell of tangerine. We offer several options for patterns with descriptions of knitting sweaters with a jacquard pattern.

Classic deer sweater

Sweater sizes: 42, 44, 46, 48 and 50.

Suitable for a sweater: Sisu yarn (wool 80%, nylon 20%). Yarn consumption for each of the sizes: 350, 400, 400, 450 and 450 g of a light shade and 100 g of a dark one. You need circular needles number 2 and 3.5.

The knitting density is twenty-seven loops - ten centimeters.

We knit a jacquard pattern according to the following detailed pattern:

The front and back are knitted first. At the initial stage, you need to dial a certain number of loops of light yarn on the circular knitting needles under the second number, respectively 220, 244, 264, 288 and 308. Next, an elastic band is knitted two by two in a series of two facial and two purl elements (for the first three sizes - 6 cm, for the remaining two - 7 cm).

After that, you have to change the knitting needles to the third number and knit on the basis of faces. smooth. Having connected forty-one centimeters, the loops are divided into two parts for the front and back (for 100, 112, 122, 134 and 144 links). Among these loops, you need to close ten for the armhole. Now they can be left for a while.

To create the sleeves of the deer sweater, action plan like this: make a set of such a number of loops from light yarn (needles No. 2): 52, 56, 60, 60 and 64. Then there is a circular knitting of an elastic band two by two, 6 cm long for sizes 42, 44 and 46 and 7 cm - 48 and 50. The next stage is the transition to knitting needles under the third number. In the first row you need to add 5, 5, 9, 7 loops = 57, 61, 65, 69 and 71 loops. Next comes the front.

To expand the sleeve, a uniform number of links is added, namely 28 for all sizes except the last fiftieth, in this case their number will be 32 pieces. Then comes the addition of one loop in all tenth rows on both sides of the first. Through 47, 47, 48, 48 and 48 cm on the needles: 85, 89, 93, 97 and 103 buttonholes. Further, the first link to the fifth on each side of it (total eleven) is closed for the armhole. In the remainder, respectively: 74, 78, 82, 86, 92 links (they are postponed).

The next step in knitting a deer sweater is to create a coquette using circular needles with number three, where the delayed links are placed (= 348, 380, 408, 440, 472). Knit a segment "A" according to the scheme. Having reached the fifth row, it is worth carrying out a uniform decrease in the elements: 28, 28, 24, 24 and 24 = 320, 352, 384, 416 and 448.

Now segment "B" is knitted according to the scheme. Please note that the arrow indicates the correct size. The reduction of the links occurs as the diagram indicates (this is necessary to narrow the sweater). After you knit to a certain mark, put an additional knitting needle into work. On this tool, the middle twenty-two buttonholes are removed along the front and along the back. Those links that remain are knitted as front and back rows until the end of segment "B" in the diagram.

Having finished knitting segment "B" on the tools, you should have the following number of links: 172, 184, 196, 212 and 228, taking into account the loops from the additional knitting needles. Next comes the knitting of the segment "C". At the end of it, proceed to a uniform decrease: 52, 56, 60, 64 and 68. Now you can switch to the needles under the second number.

The last in knitting a sweater with deer is knitting a collar based on a two-by-two elastic band: 16, 16, 17, 18 and 18 cm. The final step is to close all the loops and sew the sleeves into the armholes.

Video lesson

To help beginners knit a jacquard pattern with knitting needles, you can take the help of professional knitters who show in detail each manipulation of the knitting needles with threads. This Norwegian motif will look great on women's, men's and children's clothing. It is especially convenient that this jacquard pattern is knitted in a circle, and it turns out without broaches.

Lazy or false jacquards are easier to knit than regular jacquards. In addition, the consumption of yarn for knitting lazy jacquard patterns is less. They are also called patterns from the removed loops. Usually every two rows (front and back rows) are knitted, observing the alternation of colors. And the pattern is obtained due to the removed loops of the previous row - they are of a different color. At the same time, the fabric of lazy jacquard turns out to be neat and not pulled together by broaches.

Details about knitting jacquard patterns with knitting needles according to patterns

Jacquard patterns with knitting needles, this is a wonderful and huge world. In it you can find schemes of colorful patterns and their description for knitting children's, men's and women's clothing. Back in the middle of the last century, jacquard knitting was extremely popular. All dudes sought to acquire or knit clothes with Norwegian patterns that were fashionable at that time, which belong specifically to jacquard knitting. Sweaters and pullovers, on which snowflakes, Christmas trees and deer flaunted, were extremely difficult to purchase in the distribution network, and therefore often had to be knitted on their own.
It was then that various patterns of jacquard patterns with knitting needles began to appear in fashion magazines. This master class is intended for beginner needlewomen. In it you will find a rich selection of photo and video materials. In addition, there are various schemes of patterns with knitting needles, as well as their detailed description.

Lazy jacquard patterns

Many patterns of jacquard patterns with knitting needles look complex, which sometimes scares off inexperienced needlewomen. In order to quickly master the technique of knitting jacquard patterns with knitting needles, it is recommended to first master the “lazy jacquard”. By learning how to knit a lazy jacquard with knitting needles, and using more complex patterns, you can easily move on to making clothes decorated with any of the existing jacquard themes. In addition, you can create schemes yourself. Lazy jacquard is so simple that it can be done even by eye, without a pattern.

Try knitting a straight fabric, such as a scarf, in lazy jacquard motifs. We invite you to watch a video tutorial on knitting a lazy jacquard.

After such needlework, you can easily knit a more complex jacquard pattern, for example, imitating the colors of an animal. In the photo you see a magnificent jacquard zebra imitation.

The drawing depicting a leopard looks original and spectacular.

These more complex motifs can hardly be attributed to lazy jacquard.

Jacquard patterns without broaches

This video tutorial demonstrates knitting a hat with a jacquard pattern without broaches. Such knitting without broaches, like any similar pattern, turns out to be very dense and warm. The scheme of the pattern is the snowflake that you will see in the lesson. There is also a description of the work for knitting without broaches. We knit a sample of the pattern, gaining twenty-one loops for this. Knitting without broaches is done with two threads. These threads must be held in the left hand, alternately introducing them into the work. The main thread for knitting the background is white, and for knitting a snowflake, brown yarn is used. To knit with two threads and avoid broaching, it is necessary to alternate two ways of knitting a thread. In the first row, we knit five loops with a white thread, and alternately grab it over or below the black yarn, as shown in the video. This technique allows you to work without stretched threads. The sixth loop should be tied with a brown thread. We continue to knit with the indicated technique until we finish the master class.

Double-sided jacquard

And at the end of the lesson, consider the description of the so-called double-sided jacquard.

This is a special canvas, connected on both sides with a front surface, and with a pattern on each side. For this, the technique of making a double gum is used, but with some modification. Here it is necessary to apply the same method, but to perform the canvas with two threads at the same time. Unlike double elastic, in a double-sided jacquard, the purl loops are not removed, but are knitted again with purl loops, but with yarn of the second shade. This leads to the formation of an inversion pattern on the wrong side of the canvas, as shown in the photo above.
To better understand the theme of double-sided jacquard, we recommend that you repeat the lesson from this video master class.
