We need to make an odd number of such leaves, the distance of the twisted wire between them should be 1-2 cm.

We form a branch, starting it from the central leaf.

When all our leaves are connected, we need to twist the wire down, about 3 cm.

We form a large branch

When our supply of thin twigs is ready, you can combine them into one large branch. For this, a thick wire is useful to us, it will take on the role of a frame. We cut off pieces of thick wires of the length we need and begin to tightly wind thin branches to it with the help of floss threads of the desired color. To make one large branch, you will need about 5 small ones.

Making the main frame

When our thick branches are ready, we will start making the frame. To do this, take a thick wire and bend it in a semicircle, form the first loop from one of its ends, bend the second end into a second, large loop. If we did everything right, we will have a heart-shaped frame for our tree.

If the wire we have taken is not elastic enough, other improvised materials can be used to strengthen the tree trunk, for example, wooden or bamboo sticks.

We attach the branches to the frame.

The branches of the Yin-Yang tree will be fastened according to the beading pattern described above (using threads).

Working on a plaster base

We will make the base of the tree from gypsum or alabaster. To do this, we will dilute it to the proportion of sour cream and pour it into the mold. We process the trunk

Received two parts of the trunk, fix on our finished base of thicker and stronger wire. After you attach the beaded trunks to the base, it is advisable to wrap them on top with floss threads of a suitable color.

We collect branches

We form the trunk

From these fragments, a frame is created for future branches. A loop is attached to the end of each branch. The branches are attached to the frame with a very strong thread. The resulting branches will have considerable weight, therefore, in order for the craft to have a finished look, you will have to strengthen it additionally.

Let's plant the trunk

You can put the tree in any original shape. After installation, the container is filled with gypsum mortar, this makes it possible not to worry that the tree may fall. For pouring, gypsum is dissolved to the consistency of liquid sour cream. It is necessary to take your time and wait a long time before pulling out the tree and the stand from the mold.

To make the trunk look more picturesque, it is decorated with a mixture of glue, plaster and water. For twigs, a solution of a more liquid consistency is used, and for a trunk - a thicker one. The lower part of the trunk is thickened by applying a thick solution there. To create a semblance of bark, you need to make cuts with a knife using a mixture that has not yet hardened. The wood is then left to harden.

To put the barrel in the stand, it is necessary to insert the tubes into the solution during the casting. After the solution hardens, the tubes are pulled out and a yin yang bead tree is planted in the resulting hole. If the holes were not made in advance, they can be prepared after the base has solidified. To do this, use a drill or an awl. The hole must be made deep, only it must be taken into account that an excessively deep entrance can destroy the stand.

We paint the composition

“For staining, you can use the most common gouache. First, paint the top branch with black paint. Coloring is carried out to the place where the branches intersect. Now we take a wire with loops, first we bend them to each other, and then we begin to twist them together.

Next, you need to turn all the loops so that they are perpendicular to the topmost loop. And a row of loops, which is also in the middle, we turn so that these loops are between the loops of the upper and lower rows.

We weave 3 pieces of such branches.

By similar weaving we make the same, but only from white beads.

In total, you need to make 10 black and 10 white branches.

Assembly of the yin-yang tree

Before proceeding with the assembly of the yin-yang tree, you first need to wrap the wire on each branch with threads. The color of the threads must match the color of the beads.

When everything is wrapped, we proceed to the assembly.

We take a black branch - it will be central. We attach the second one to it a little lower. From the other side, we wind another branch.

Immediately between these branches we wind another one.

A little lower we wrap three more in a circle. We wind the rest below in the same way in a circle. The result was 3 rows of branches.

We collect a tree of white beads in the same way.

Technique - loop weaving.

Step 1. Weaving twigs.

Weaving is performed according to the same pattern for both colors, both for white and black. Before weaving, we prepare on separate coils low with beads. It is better to choose a wire of a more neutral color (for example, silver) and thinner, then the branches look more airy.

Stepping back from the edge of 10-15 cm, weave loops, the loop should consist of 8 beads, the number of loops on the workpiece is from 15 to 17 pcs. (we place the loops at the same distance to each other) from the last loop we indent 10-15 cm and cut the wire (see photo 1). The number of loops on the workpiece should not be even.

When the loops are ready, we proceed to assemble the workpiece - starting from the central loop, we twist the wire (see photo 3). After the last pair of loops, we scroll the wire to a distance of 3-4 cm. We straighten the branches in a neat parallel order (photo 4).

In this way we make about 70 pieces. white blanks and 100-120 pcs. black.

Step 2. Assembly of branches and tree trunk.

According to the creative plan, the black branch, as it were, covers the white one from above (and, accordingly, it is larger and more magnificent) and the arrangement of the branches will form the shape of a heart.

For black branches, we need blanks. On a piece of wire with a diameter of 1-1.2 mm and a length of 15-20 cm, we wind the blanks of twigs with a strong black thread (the number can vary from 5 or more pieces). White blanks are attached directly to the barrel frame with white thread.

To form the trunk and branches, we will use 2 pieces of wire for the frame with a diameter of 3 - 3.5 mm and a length of 45-50 cm. It is better to use copper wire, because. aluminum is very soft and loses its shape under the weight of the beads (unfortunately, I ran out of copper, so I had to use aluminum and then strengthen it). So, from the wire segments we form the frame of the branches. At the end of the frame, it is unforgettable to form a loop.

We fasten the branches to the frame with a strong thread, starting from the top and placing subsequent branches in a spiral with respect to the trunk. Important! The branches turn out to be heavy, so it is better to strengthen the frame with additional wire (or improvised means. As it turned out for me).

Step 3. Planting and shaping the trunk.

For casting the stand, we use any interesting shape. We install the tree trunk with a loop in the prepared form and fill it with a mixture of gypsum and water (the consistency of liquid sour cream). Leave to dry, then you can remove the form (the main thing is not to rush at this stage, the wet base of the stand cracks easily).

The tree trunk is decorated with a mixture of equal parts of gypsum, water and PVA glue. We coat the branches with a more liquid solution. We thicken the bottom of the trunk with a thicker solution. To give the trunk texture, we use a sharp knife - we form (cut through) the bark using the solidifying mixture. Let it harden for a while.

At the base we make holes for the "landing" of the decor - this can be done in two ways. The first - even at the stage of casting the stand into a liquid solution, we install segments of tubes for a cocktail. When the solution sets, the tubes can be easily removed. In the second method, we need a drill with a handle - you can drill all the necessary holes before painting (it is very easy to drill, the main thing is not to get carried away, the hole should not be deep). The drill can be replaced with a sharp awl.

Step 4 Painting. Decor.

For coloring, we need paints of two colors - black and white. I use regular children's gouache.
The upper black branch is painted black until the branches intersect, respectively, we paint the white branch and trunk with white paint. Let dry well. Then we paint according to the principle of "birch" - with a dry hard brush with horizontal movements we paint the bottom of the trunk and the roots with black paint.
