About the show
Since the beginning of 2017, 11 life-size figures of characters have been constructed in the USA specifically for this project, and the scenery for the show is created in American and European theater workshops.
Meanwhile, a team of lighting artists, together with participants of the Circle of Light festival, is preparing video mapping content to fill the walls of the theater hall with 3D projections, which several times change the venue beyond recognition, transporting the viewer and the show’s characters to new locations, where the determined Red, energetic and The tireless Chuck and the sociable, cheerful Bomb will again and again come face to face with the main enemy of the birds - the King of Pig. What is he up to this time? Does he really dare to steal the New Year, its guardian Santa Claus, and leave the children without gifts?! To prepare the show, the American creative bureau “Chicago Snow Wizards” was chosen, which was the organizer of the World Figure Skating Championships in Boston in 2016, the 52nd International Film Festival in Chicago, and since 2014 has annually participated in the development of the “Winter City Festival” in Toronto, Canada's largest city. The team of the bureau, led by creative director Richard Butler, studied the world experience of the largest amusement parks, wrote a script for the show and spent a year developing a unique concept for the New Year's “Angry Birds Village”.
