Winter bouquet and Christmas compositions. Master Class. Beautiful Christmas compositions with candles

The New Year is almost on the threshold, and to create a special aura, you can create New Year's compositions on the table. Photos and master classes with your own hands can be viewed on the Internet.

Decorating your interior with them, you will create a festive mood for yourself and your family.

These can be small Christmas trees made of sweets, New Year's compositions on the table from dry twigs, compositions from spruce and pine cones, clusters of mountain ash. In floristic salons and souvenir shops, you can buy a ready-made New Year's composition, and it seems that only professionals can come up with such beauty. In fact, creating Christmas decorations with children, you will get very original masterpieces. You can learn how to make compositions with your own hands at master classes held in creative workshops or look on the Internet.

Material for creating desktop compositions

To create them, you need to think carefully about the design and select the appropriate materials. The basis of the composition on the table with your own hands is natural material (spruce or pine twigs, cones, dried berries, fruits, dry branches of deciduous trees), dishes (glasses, plates, baskets, trays).

From the auxiliary materials you will need:

  • glue gun;
  • twine or other rope;
  • bright wrapping paper;
  • Styrofoam;
  • floral sponge;
  • paints and brushes, etc.

Types of compositions

  • Christmas tree ikebana.

Required:

  • beautiful wicker basket;
  • spruce twigs (twigs with cones will look beautiful);
  • floral sponge;
  • decorations (toys, tinsel, garland).

We put a sponge in the basket, stick branches into it, carefully forming them.

We try to make the sponge invisible, we mask it with artificial moss or tinsel. Decorate with a garland or toys. You can also put small gifts there. You must not forget to water the sponge, and then the impromptu Christmas tree and Christmas tree aroma will please you for a long time.

  • Christmas tree with sequins

Making a Christmas tree is easy. We take thick paper, make a bag, cut off the lower part - we get a cone. Then we apply PVA glue on it and sprinkle it with sequins, small gaps with sequins for manicure or sprinkle with glitter hairspray.

  • Christmas tree - do-it-yourself cobweb, a master class on making:

We make a cone out of paper, take golden threads of medium thickness and twine. Pour PVA glue into a bowl, moisten it abundantly in it and immediately begin to wind it around the cone in a chaotic manner. When the thread is wound, sprinkle the Christmas tree with sparkles (you can use a sprinkle for nails). Next, we take the rope (twine), paint it in gold color with a can of paint. When it dries, we lower it into the glue and begin to wind it around the cone from top to bottom, making a ring at the base.

When everything is dry, carefully separate the paper cone from the threads (on the inside of the Christmas tree).

  • Christmas tree made of wire

We take a thick (5 mm thick) copper wire and begin to form a Christmas tree in the form of a cone. Then you can decorate it with tinsel.

New Year's compositions with candles on the table look very nice.

  • Composition of candles and cones

We take a decorative candle in the form of a cone, pine cones (so that they open, hold them over the steam). We paint the cones in silver color or you can decorate them like this: lower them into a “strong” saline solution and take them out to the cold. Cones will turn out frosted with crystals. We take the base of thick cardboard and glue all the elements with a glue gun.

  • Arrangements from spruce branches and candles

Usually they are placed in low vases, on wide dishes or trays. A tall red wax candle or a gel candle in a glass is placed in the center of the composition. As an addition to the composition, you can use oranges garnished with clove seeds.

  • Glass candlesticks

Turn long-stemmed wine glasses upside down - their base will serve as an original candle stand. Under the glass itself, you can place a live flower, large beads or Christmas tree small balls.

  • Composition of candles and balls

We use a gold-colored metal tray as a base, put the fan in the center with the wide part down, place candles in candlesticks (wax and gel) around and dilute with balls in the same color scheme.

  • "Snowy" candlestick

To create this composition, you will need glasses or glasses, colored candles, sugar or salt, stationery glue.

We cover the glasses with glue, sprinkle with salt or sugar, wait until it dries, and put a candle inside.

  • floating candles

You will need: a glass goblet (glass) with water, small flat candles with a foil base, flowers, beads. We tint the water with food coloring, put a flower and beads on the bottom of the glass, pour the colored water and lower the candle on top.

  • Composition with flowers and a candle

We put a long candle in a glass candlestick on a wide plate, lay flowers around.

  • Candles can also be placed in beautiful glasses from different sets and placed on a wooden stand.
  • steps of candles

As a basis, you can take a herring. You will also need candles and Christmas balls.

To give decorativeness, we use candles of different heights or cut one long candle into several different heights, put Christmas balls in a plate and line up candles in a row, starting from the longest to the shortest (a stepped row is obtained).

  • Glass candlesticks.

The master class is easy. We buy stained glass paints (three jars are enough) and a tube of stained glass contour (to prevent mixing and spreading of paints). We apply a contour pattern in the form of square cells to the glasses. It dries for about 5 hours, then paint over them with stained glass paint. We heat the oven to a temperature of 130 degrees, bake a glass for 5-10 minutes.

  • Arrangement of cones and Christmas balls

To create it, you need spruce or pine cones (we paint them with silver or gold paint), and then we put them in tall glass vases mixed with balls.

  • Composition with figures of deer.

We take a flat dish, cover it with moss, put a small artificial Christmas tree in the center, pour acorns, you can nuts and fix the deer figurines.

Or you can take a wide vase with a long stem, pour salt (snowdrifts) into it, place cones (trees) there, fix the deer figurines and put a candle.

  • Dried flower decoration

Dried flowers look very impressive when creating New Year's compositions. You can use them without adding coniferous branches, so they will look more decorative. If in the summer you did not have time to stock up on a herbarium, you can also find dried herbs in winter (yarrow, wormwood). We dry them after the snow and paint them with gouache or spray paint, preferably in New Year's colors. We stick into the base-styrofoam or sponge. We take a basket, put the composition there and decorate the bottom with tinsel or moss.

  • Composition of coniferous twigs with snow

You can take a large vase, pour water into it and put spruce (cedar, pine) branches, decorate with artificial snow (you can sprinkle it with crushed foam or pieces of cotton wool). And around the vase put "lumps" of snow or pierce them with twigs (like snow on the branches). There are two ways to make lumps:

  • Pour PVA glue into a bowl, tear off pieces of cotton wool, dip in glue and roll balls. Let dry overnight.
  • We buy felt for felting. Pour water into a bowl, add soap (any will do). Then we tear off a piece from the layer of felt, moisten it in this water and start rolling, the stronger we press the felt with our palms, the denser the ball turns out. Gradually adding felt, you can increase it in size.

edible decorations

This type of jewelry is the most fragrant and delicious.

  • Gingerbread house, made according to the original recipe, with backlight. Biscuit recipe: honey, sugar syrup and softened butter are kneaded until smooth, then add flour, eggs, soda on the tip of a knife, spices (cinnamon, cloves, ground ginger and nutmeg, cardamom, lemon juice).

When the cakes have cooled, we cut out the details for the house from them, put the LED strip on a rectangular stand (or tray), assemble it, fill it with sour cream or cover it with white mastic. When the lights are dimmed in the room, the twinkling of the house creates a magical mood.

  • Or you can make several small houses and put them on a mirror surface (metal tray), you get a village standing on the river bank.

By preparing your New Year's table, decorating it with compositions, you create a festive mood for your near and dear people.

Winter is often perceived by us as a monochrome season, where everything is filled with snow-white color. But in fact, this is a time of contrasts: white snow and juicy red berries of viburnum and mountain ash, purple beautiful fruit and rich greenery of conifers.

In winter, even the aromas are thicker and more intense. All this can convey your bouquet! Combine soft, airy cotton and cones, bright roses, oranges and spruce branches.

Combine elements that are opposite in texture, color and shape in a bouquet. What would be too much in summer will enrich the bouquet and create a mood in winter.

A real work of art! How could it be otherwise? Indeed, in a winter bouquet, not only flowers are often used, but also other natural materials that correspond to the season:

  • bunches of mountain ash, beautiful fruit, viburnum
  • twigs with fruits of the snowberry, barberry, wild rose
  • birch branches
  • dry flower pods with seeds, physalis
  • cones
  • bark and graceful tree branches
  • branches of conifers (spruce, juniper, arborvitae, cypress)
  • cotton bolls
  • cinnamon sticks
  • star anise
  • dried oranges
  • fruits and nuts
  • dry herbs
  • hydrangea inflorescences and other dried flowers

Your imagination can suggest the most unexpected options for the elements and decor of the bouquet. Choose something that will not freeze, will not wither quickly, which we associate with the winter season. For example, florists advise choosing flowers of dark shades for your bouquet, they are more resistant and even if the petals suffer a little from the cold, it will not be noticeable.

Rose, chrysanthemum, calla lilies, carnation, gerbera, tulip, gypsophila, freesia, hydrangea, snowdrop, cymbidium are ideal for a winter bouquet.

Additional accessories for the bouquet can be knitted elements, ribbons, lace, cords, buttons, foil, Christmas balls, beads, organza, figurines of angels and birds.

Bright, rich, and at the same time, a winter bouquet with piano roses, ilex, orchids and cotton.

This bouquet is made up of pine branches, "snowy" fir cones, brunia, thuja branches, snowberry and eucalyptus. Small flowers, reminiscent of cherry blossoms, look tender and light in a bouquet. The handle of the bouquet is decorated with handmade lace, twine and waxed cord with wooden buttons.

Interior composition will perfectly decorate your home on snowy winter days, complement the table setting and may well replace the Christmas tree. Use the advice of florists and create your own unique decorative object. So:

The winter composition will have a beautiful shape if you arrange the flowers in it at different angles and at different levels.

Any composition has a focus - a point that attracts attention (a bright flower, a large bud, a candle, a branch of the original form). It is not necessarily located in the center, but it is around it that the whole composition is built.

Choose a container for the composition, combined with the style of the interior.

If the composition will consist of fresh flowers, use a floral sponge. It will come in handy when creating a Christmas wreath for table setting.

As the basis of the composition, you can choose foam or plasticine. Such a base is suitable for New Year's compositions, when it is necessary to fix spruce branches, balls, animal figurines, garlands, and install candles.

For single cut flowers, you can use thin narrow vessels (test tubes) that are easy to fix inside the composition.

Use branches of different lengths (vine, wicker, tree branches and roots). With their help, you can add dynamics, direction to the composition.

For a New Year's composition, a stand in the form of a saw cut tree is perfect. The composition itself is installed on such a stand not in the center, but is shifted to one of the sides.

On a light background, a composition of bright and dark flowers will look good, on a dark background - a light bouquet.

It is not necessary to buy flowers for your winter arrangement. Most houseplants are great for making this. Moreover, many of them have a flowering period in the winter. Choose:

  • poinsettia (Christmas star)
  • Schlumberger (Decembrist)
  • hippeastrum, amarylis, wallot
  • orchid
  • chlorophytum
  • cyclamen
  • azalea

Decorations (in this example, this is a decorative bird)

For every holiday, you want to decorate your home, make it elegant and even more welcoming in accordance with each season. And the meeting of the New Year requires special sophistication. New Year's compositions are assembled ahead of time or in a matter of minutes, from beautiful little things that are at home or from cones brought from a forest or park, painted or natural, pine and spruce branches, balls, nuts, flowers, garlands and snowflakes. And from glitter! Iridescent, luminous, sparkling Christmas decorations and a variety of candles, in general, everything that pleases the eye, warms the heart and awakens inspiration, all this will make a beautiful composition that can be used to decorate the New Year's table and window sills and put on a table or bedside table or on a chest of drawers near mirrors.

Let's not beat around the bush for a long time and see a few ideas. I do not have a permanent annual set to create a New Year's composition. Every year I look for something new, and every time it turns out that this is not there, then this, then the recommendations for making curiosities do not correspond to reality. Therefore, I picked up different compositions, something, but there will certainly be at home to implement the idea or so that you can buy it without ruin. And also, I want to talk about a negative experience with pomanders and bleached buds.

1.Glitter appeal of Christmas balls

How to assemble a composition and make sure that the balls do not scatter, look at the video in the article

2. We use luminous garlands, on batteries or from the mains

Here is the key detail, a glowing snowball garland.

3. Attract indoor flowers

Cones and a candle radically change the look of a simple houseplant, giving it the mood of Christmas comfort.

As well as flowers from the garden, such as rejuvenated and roses.

4. But magnificent artificial flowers have also found application.

4. Of course, bumps.

Amazingly beautiful, different, inspiring. They are great to collect, this fun event already has a premonition of a home holiday.

Cones can bleach, dye, decorate with beads and artificial snow. When bleaching It is important to know that the buds do not bleach to an absolute white color, but they will still acquire a beautiful appearance. You need to bleach for at least 24 hours and it is better to take pine, spruce bleaches worse.

bleached buds

So that they do not close, hold them on a battery or in an oven at a low temperature, that is, dry them so that they do not close. And then, you will succeed as in the blog plumperfectandme.blogspot.com Purple Hues and Me

Ice and cones.

Painting

Simply paint the buds by dipping them in paint cans and then hanging to dry. And yet, such a loop screwed into the cone will make it easy to hang the cones on the Christmas tree or help to hang them to dry:

A simple composition with cones and Christmas decorations is also fraught with craftsmanship.

Acorns, chestnuts and citrus fruits get along well with cones. Oranges are cut and dried.

6. About pomanders

I would really like to make a composition of fragrant pomanders, but the experience of last year stops me, although they look very beautiful in the pictures. And, directly, it is believed that they have an amazing smell.

What you see is done just for one time table decoration. After a couple of days, the oranges will start moldy. Even if you follow the advice to dry them, they will look different, not so attractive, and there will be no smell from a shriveled brown orange. True, maybe someone will succeed, but my experience was bleak and it was a pity that money and time were thrown away.

7. Fragrant compositions

But really fragrant New Year's compositions can be made if you smear the cones with glue, roll them in ground cinnamon, cloves or cardamom, and even place them near the candles, then you can hope for success.

8. With houses

In a previous article, I talked about backlit. New Year's compositions with houses that you can make with your own hands look absolutely amazing.

Or bake gingerbread gingerbread houses. Watch the video on how to make such a wonderful composition.

9. Outdoor decor

Let's not forget the outdoor decorations, you don't even need to use fake snow. If you keep flowers outside the window in summer, beautiful compositions of fir branches, red ribbons or balls can be placed in their place in winter. I always put some beauty on my balcony. See the article "".

the use of branches in decorative compositions

Nowadays, compositions made from flowers, dry branches, foliage and decorative elements are becoming increasingly popular. Such compositions look equally good both indoors - at home, office or cottage - and in the yard or garden. Materials for such decorative compositions are easy to find at any time of the year: in summer and spring, you can use flowers, greens and dry branches, in autumn you can dilute the composition with colorful foliage and dried fruits, in winter - with cones and spruce branches.

Branches, both naked and with leaves or berries, are an excellent decorative element and addition to flower arrangements. In addition, branches can also represent independent material for creating a “bouquet”. A beautiful composition will turn out from branches of dry berry bushes, dry branches of heather and forsythia. The choice of a vase for a composition of branches is very important, since the branches are directed upwards, and therefore do not cover the vase. Thus, the vase is also an important element of the composition. In this case, it is better to choose a tall oriental-style vase. Cut off unnecessary or damaged leaves, shoots from the branches, cut the branches to the desired length and place in a vase, according to the intended design. If you are using fresh branches, then make sure that their ends are placed in water. The length of the branches used in the composition may be different, depending on the design of the composition.

Bare branches will look good in a "winter" composition. In a small wooden tub filled with cones and acorns, place 3 or 5 small bare branches in the middle. This will make the composition more original and interesting.

Hazel

Various branches and flowers are used for compositions, but special decorative elements are also needed to complete the composition. It can be artificial plastic berries or fruits, as well as fresh fruits. These elements are fixed in the composition with floral wire and glue. For example, an original composition can be created using light green and dark green eucalyptus, fresh pears, clusters of plastic fruits. Eucalyptus branches are cut to the desired length, lowered into a bucket of prepared floral foam (the foam bar of the desired size must be held in a pot of water until it gets wet, and then put in a bucket) and placed according to the intended design, allowing some eyelids to hang freely down. With the help of wire cutters, separate the elements you need from the bunches of fruits and strengthen them in the composition with the help of floral wire. Insert a flower stick into the lower part of the pear (up to about half of the pear) and place the resulting product in the composition.

Painted branches adorn the composition wonderfully

Glitter sprigs will add glamour, and a sense of celebration.

Bamboo

Twigs with beads - very romantic and gentle

To maintain composition

The use of vases not only removes the problem of fixing the plants included in the bouquet, but also allows you to put fresh flowers in the water. If there is no vase in the composition, then the jar of water in which the flowers will stand will have to be masked. You can also pour water into small test tubes and small medicine vials.

Massive coniferous branches are fixed with a metal holder-kenzan - a lead plate with brass carnations soldered into it. If the kenzan is too small, it can be fixed on the stand with plasticine. The simplest and most affordable substitute for kenzan is a large potato tuber, into which the branches are simply stuck.

Twigs as the main element

When creating winter bouquets, coniferous branches, cones, dried flowers are used. Fresh flowers can also be included in such compositions, because some potted plants bloom in winter, for example, cyclamen, begonia, strelitzia, anthurium. They are also often used in winter bouquets. Do not forget about the flowers sold in flower shops. When used in a New Year's composition, fresh flowers are placed in a small vase, test tube or bottle of water, masking it among greenery or cones.

Coniferous branches before inclusion in a winter bouquet must be washed with cold water, yellowed and broken needles should be removed from them.

In order for the cones to open, it is recommended to hold them over steam or a hot electric stove, and if it is necessary that they do not open longer in a warm room, they are sprayed with hairspray. To attach the cones, a wire is used, the thickness of which depends on the size of the cone. In this case, the cones must be wrapped with wire, passing it through the lower scales and twisting one end around the other
