After this, rub off the paint using circular movements from the edges of the stain to its center. The cotton wool must be constantly changed to a clean one.

Denatured alcohol

Denatured alcohol is a much stronger remedy than rubbing alcohol. Firstly, it does not contain water. And secondly, it consists of two types of alcohol, which act very quickly.
But you must use denatured alcohol very carefully, since the product contains methanol, which is a poison. In addition, denatured alcohol is very flammable. Be sure to clean the item outside.
The procedure for cleaning acrylic with denatured alcohol is exactly the same as with medical alcohol. It is better to air dry the item after washing.

If the acrylic paint layer has already hardened thoroughly, you will need stronger products. Try removing stains by rubbing with a cotton pad soaked in an acetone-based solution, such as nail polish remover. White spirit, gasoline or kerosene will also help.

Using a special wash

To remove hardened paint, use a special remover. It can be found in any hardware store; it can be intended only for acrylic paints or universal. The product is strong, with an unpleasant pungent odor, dangerous for the skin of the hands, eyes and respiratory tract, it should be used with extreme caution. If possible, windows and doors should be open, hands should be protected with rubber gloves, and it is also recommended to use goggles and a respirator. Removing paint from different surfaces

It is used like this: the varnish is applied to the stain, left for a while so that it dissolves the stain, and then the remnants of this product are washed off the fabric. The presented technique can be used for both white and colored items, since it does not disrupt the structure of the fabric.

You can also use a similar technique to remove very fresh traces of gouache or printer paint. Other types of paint, under the influence of weak solvents included in the varnish, do not leave the fabric.

Method 10 - peroxide

How to remove hair dye from clothes if it has already become embedded in the fabric? If you are dealing with white things, you can use regular hydrogen peroxide for this purpose. It will need to be applied directly to the stains, left for half an hour, and then washed. After such cleaning there will be no traces of paint left on it.

If you need to remove dye from a colored item, you should replace peroxide with vinegar. It must be used in the same way. However, it should be remembered that in many cases it works worse than peroxide, so sometimes cleaning with it has to be done several times at short intervals.

Method 11 - cologne

This method will help those who get dirty with stamp ink. It's easy to use: just apply perfume or cologne directly to the stamp and then wait a few minutes. In just a few minutes, the paint will come off the surface, and you can quite successfully remove it with any napkin.

The presented method is applicable to any type of material, including leather. It is better to use it immediately after the stamp gets on clothing or an accessory, since this trick may not cope with old dirt.

Method 12 - white spirit

This product is one of the most effective and allows you to remove even stained glass paints from fabric. It is used like this: a small amount of this solvent is collected on a cloth or sponge (you can use a regular cotton pad for this purpose), and then wipe the stain with it until the stain is completely dissolved. After this, the clothes are rinsed, as traces of contamination may remain on them.

Remember that this method of removing stains is not suitable for all types of clothing. Do not use it on delicate fabrics.

What to do if the stain does not come off.

If you still haven’t managed to remove acrylic, oil or watercolor paint from your clothes yourself, you can mask the mark with a patch, applique or embroidery. You can also sew a decorative pocket or button over the stained area - they will hide minor dirt.
