“Musical” technique of the Zheleznovs. Iron songs for the little ones Iron program for children 2 3 years old

Reading time: 3 minutes.

Modern parents are increasingly thinking about the full development of their baby. Sometimes the process itself takes place in a tense environment, since not every child will be able to sit and complete tasks. “The song helps us build and live...”, as it is sung in the good old song and it really is so! The Zheleznovs’ technique is proof of this. How great it is to develop skills and abilities in dance, with song and music. What is the secret of the Zheleznovs? What are the pros and cons of the technique?

About the Zheleznovs

The founders of the early childhood development method are father and daughter. Sergey Stanislavovich Zheleznov is an experienced music teacher who has developed courses for preparing children 4-6 years old for enrollment in a music school.

His daughter, Ekaterina Sergeevna Zheleznova, followed in her father’s footsteps and graduated from a music pedagogical college and a graduate school.

In the 90s there was no musical knowledge for children under 3 years old. The Zheleznovs decided to eliminate this problem. They came up with and recorded songs that were understandable for children of different ages, and brought Russian nursery rhymes to their understanding. This is how entire collections began to appear, which were also suitable for six-month-old toddlers, who happily danced in their mother’s arms. Children as young as one year old could repeat the movements, first with their parents, then on their own.

This is how the Zheleznovs’ methodology “Music with Mom” appeared, courses began to be published in video and audio format, and didactic manuals based on the Zheleznovs’ method.

Positive aspects of the technique

The main advantage of this technique is the emotional atmosphere during classes. The simplicity of presenting material that is understandable even to the smallest will give good results in the psychological and emotional development of your child. Zheleznov’s technique is a unique material for the development of children’s creative and musical abilities.

Disadvantages of the Zheleznovs’ technique

There are no negative aspects as such in the method of Sergei and Ekaterina. However, each child has his own characteristics and tastes. Maybe someone won’t like some songs, nursery rhymes, rhythm, etc. From a large selection of musical activities, you can choose a pleasant melody and song for each child.

Joint activities

If you are developing a child at home, then your time will be fun and useful. The mother helps the baby perform the movements, prompts and sings the words. From time to time, the baby will remember and begin to sing along (or will try). Your task is to be patient and rejoice at any achievements of your son or daughter.

During group classes at the development center, you also complete tasks with your baby, the child imitates and enjoys his new skills.

How are classes going?

For babies from six months of age there are finger games, songs for massage, gymnastics and more. The mother tells these little ones a poem or sings a song to the music and gives them a massage. It is important to captivate the child and make him want to repeat and complete the task independently.

For older children there are outdoor games, exercises, and warm-ups. Such tasks are performed both with additional objects (balls, cubes, handkerchiefs, etc.) and without. According to the Zheleznovs’ method, you can practice every day from morning to evening:

  • in the morning - exercises;
  • during the day - musical tasks, songs;
  • in the evening - creative activities (we listen to fairy tales and make up our own, play with toys).

It can be seen that the classes do not require special preparation (except for memorizing the words in the song) for the mother, and the child will be happy to complete the tasks.

Is it possible to study at home?

You can study individually at home or in a group. If you are ready to devote time to your child and spend it usefully, then do not hesitate in choosing this technique.

Doing warm-ups, listening to fairy tales together, following musical assignments will not only have a positive effect on the development of your child, but will also strengthen your relationship, trust in each other and understanding will increase.

“Music with Mom” is an early development music program for children from 6 months to 6 years.

The program's musical materials (CDs and DVDs, music notebooks) are convenient for working in families, children's centers and studios, and kindergartens. Used for both individual and group work; both in developmental and correctional classes.

Core Our program is the position that the best environment for the musical development and learning of children is an environment where children, parents and teachers actively participate in musical activities.

Using a musical and gaming development environment as means development, teachers and parents contribute to the enrichment of the sensorimotor emotional and creative joint experience of children as prerequisites for their successful general, musical and social development.

Novelty of the program

In this publication, we tried to present and systematize part of the musical and gaming material we created for musical and gaming activities with children aged 1–3 years in families and preschool educational institutions.

In the proposed program, musical development is not only a goal, but a means of general and social development of children of early and young age.

The novelty of the program is also the combination of traditional approaches and the use of modern technical teaching aids. The provision of practical material (audio, video) allows you to purposefully engage in the complex musical and general development of the child not only in special classes (music classes, physical education classes, speech therapy, etc.), but also used in the group (educators) and family (parents).

One of features program is both the possibility of conducting a separate course of classes on its basis, and compatibility with any basic program used in a preschool educational institution, as well as the availability of practical materials that allow it to be used in the family.

The purpose of the program is promote the mental, physical, social and aesthetic development of children of early and preschool age through musical education. We see the realization of this goal through ensuring continuity between the family and the preschool educational institution, where musical and play activities are a means of general and social development, a way of maintaining creative contact between parents and children.

Program objectives:

  1. To promote the early development of the child through comprehensive musical activities in the family, providing parents with the necessary aids for practical work with children.
  2. To teach parents effective ways of creative interaction with their child, to provide educational leisure and play activities not only in the classroom, but also in the family.
  3. Develop audio aids, teaching aids, lesson plans, video materials, sheet music, books for children for educators and preschool teachers, taking into account the possibility of homework using these materials.
  4. To create optimal conditions for regularity of classes, which is a necessary condition for early development and can be provided by educators (in a group) and parents (at home).
  5. Form readiness for further training
  6. To form musical abilities, musical sensory, musical taste in the most sensitive period of child development.

Program principles:

The program complies modern requirements for the educational program.

  1. It is developmental in nature, focused on the general and musical development of the child in the process of mastering musical activities.
  2. It provides the opportunity for both group and developmental individual and correctional work with children
  3. It takes into account the ideas of the health and development component: the principle of unity of development and health work with children
  4. The content of the program is focused on creating psychological comfort and emotional well-being for each child.
  5. The program is equipped with practical materials and manuals for individual and group lessons

The technology of musical teaching and upbringing is based on gaming methods and a combination of musical activities with other areas of educational work with children, which ensures the general, social and aesthetic development of the child during the lessons.

The organization of music classes takes place in a variety of forms: in the form of plot-thematic music classes, complex and integrated classes.

Directions The works under the program are:

  1. “Communication games” (communication, round dancing)
  2. Finger gymnastics
  3. Games - nursery rhymes
  4. Games – massage
  5. Games - skating
  6. Games with objects
  7. Games with imitative movements
  8. Catching games
  9. Game gymnastics
  10. Round dances and games
  11. Speech development (in the process of singing and logarithmic games)
  12. Development of musical and auditory perceptions
  13. Listening to music
  14. Playing noise and pitch instruments.
  15. Introduction to “music theory”: musical literacy, notes and keyboard.

Addressing and organizing work according to the program:

The project is addressed to a wide range of specialists and parents.

Music directors, speech therapists, psychologists, and physical education instructors can use part of the material, introducing it partially into the basic program. Teachers and additional education workers can use the developments to conduct independent classes in kindergartens, preschool institutions, and in additional education systems. Parents can use video and audio recordings for home leisure and family activities with their baby.

EXAMPLES OF LESSON PLANS FOR TEACHERS

Organizational and methodological principles of conducting classes in parent-child groups

    The teacher must have his own annual and long-term plans, coordinated with the planning of the preschool educational institution, but the teacher also needs to prepare for each lesson, selecting new or modifying old tasks, taking into account the individual pace of progress of each group.

    It is advisable to change the conditions of the games from lesson to lesson, as well as the necessary “props”, which helps to consolidate new material or skills, and at the same time maintains the children’s interest in repeating the game task many times.

    Having chosen certain games, play them for the time necessary to learn them (4 - 6 lessons), and then gradually replace them with new ones. BUT - Don't change all the games at once!

    The pace of the lesson is quite high, the game is played 2-3 times and is replaced by the next game or game exercise.

    It is optimal to schedule 2 same-age groups in a row, which allows you to:
    - Connect groups to prepare for the holidays.
    - Connect groups if some of the children “drop out” and there is no “educational reserve”.
    - Practice and polish the educational material by teaching the lesson again.

    The stages of the program for young children include:
    - Joint implementation of the building by an adult and a child as shown by the teacher. As a rule, the active role is played by an adult. The child is an observer or passive participant. The parent at this stage is in a position behind the child, who is sitting on his lap or on a pillow between his legs.
    - Joint completion of a task by an adult and a child as shown by the teacher. An adult is next to the baby, helping only if the child cannot cope on his own.
    - Joint, “parallel” execution. Support is provided mainly on an emotional level, with some control and verbal correction of implementation possible.
    - Both the adult and the child are full participants. Parent - emotionally supports and approves of success. The adjustment is made through a visual display.

    When learning a new game:
    - It is necessary to ensure that children understand the plot and content of the game. If it contains characters, images or concepts that are unfamiliar to children, first tell the kids about them using toys and pictures.
    - Conduct a “presentation” of the game accompanied by a soundtrack (showing the children the necessary movements or combinations), and then, at the first stage of learning, conduct the game accompanied by singing or melodic rhythm of the text - at a comfortable pace and with the necessary stops.
    - When the children have learned the game, perform it with “minus” (music without the soloist singing), singing the song yourself and encouraging the children to sing along.
    - Try to make “thematic connections” between games and exercises (at least within one “block” of games)

    Never force anyone to complete a game or task. If the child does not want to play, the adult does everything.

    Explain to parents that they should not actively help their child all the time or constantly correct mistakes. The best support for a child is joint play, when the child sees that the parent is also interested in participating in the process, and not constantly correcting and reprimanding.

    Holding more than four groups in a row, as well as working more than 4 times a week, can lead to emotional overload for the teacher. Be attentive to your health!

We had a lesson

Today, parents are offered a huge number of different methods for the early development of children. And the author of each method convinces that thanks to his training program, the child will grow up to be a child prodigy who will delight his parents not only with a high level of intelligence, but also with excellent health. True, for this you will have to make some efforts in order to interest the child in activities.

Today, parents are offered a huge number of different early development techniques children. And the author of each method convinces that thanks to his training program, the child will grow up to be a child prodigy who will delight his parents not only with a high level of intelligence, but also with excellent health. True, for this you will have to make some efforts in order to interest the child in activities.

But there are also methods whose main goal is not to stimulate the child’s intelligence, but to promote his harmonious and natural development. One of such systems is the Zheleznovs’ method, which is based on presenting educational material in a playful way.

Let us immediately emphasize that in the process of practicing this method, your child will not enrich his mind with encyclopedic knowledge. He will not learn to count and write. But he will become much happier, more cheerful, more sociable and more self-confident. Agree, this is worth a lot.

A few words about the Zheleznovs

An experienced teacher with a conservatory education, Sergei Stanislavovich and a young music teacher Ekaterina Sergeevna Zheleznov (father and daughter) are co-authors of a unique early development methods "Music with Mom", which was examined by the Federal Council and was awarded a diploma from the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Today, this is practically the only domestic technique that is extremely popular not only in Russia, but also in other countries of the world.

In the 90s of the last century, Sergei Zheleznov began work on creating a method that would allow identifying musically gifted children and preparing them for admission to music schools. However, in the process of work, the understanding came that for most parents the primary task is not raising a new Mozart or Paganini, but the general development of the child and his good mood. Therefore, Zheleznov thought about creating a fundamentally new methodology that would make it possible to turn traditional music classes into fun games, rich in educational elements. Subsequently, his daughter Ekaterina Sergeevna joined the work of Sergei Zheleznov, who not only actively participated in the creation of a new technique, but complemented the early developments of her father.

The result of the dedicated work (precisely selfless, since all the material had to be written “from scratch”) of two innovative teachers was method of early musical development, called "Music with Mom." Why this name? Because in this method, mothers are given the main role of a musical mentor and playmate.

Features of the Zheleznovs’ technique

Over the course of many years of research, psychologists have found that music classes have a positive effect on the psychomotor, intellectual and social development of children. It was also noted that musical and rhythmic games develop children’s ability to concentrate and perceive information. It was these observations of specialists that were taken as a theoretical basis. Zheleznov's methods.

The main difference between this methodology and other development programs is that music is not only a “goal”, but also a “means”. That is, the child does not just listen to music, learns to play musical instruments and develops his hearing. Music is used as an effective teaching tool, determining the rhythm and tempo of movements, suggesting the image and actions to be performed.

Active role-playing and finger games, gymnastics and dancing, singing and playing children's musical and noise instruments - these activities give children sincere pleasure, and at the same time help:

  • improve overall physical development;
  • develop musical ear and memory;
  • develop communication skills;
  • teach the child to make independent decisions, find compromises, and act in a team.

In parallel with this, the child’s speech apparatus, gross and fine motor skills are actively developing. And all this is perceived by the child as an exciting game, during which you can run, play pranks and scream.

How are classes conducted using the Zheleznov method?

Classes according to the Zheleznov system is a whole range of activities that includes:

  • dancing;
  • listening to music;
  • finger gymnastics;
  • singing;
  • playing musical and noise instruments;
  • different types of games.

As a rule, classes are held in groups of 5-8 children 1-2 times a week. However, individual lessons are also possible, both in early development studios and at home. The duration of classes depends on the age of the child: for children under two years old - 30-35 minutes, from 2 to 3 years old - 30-45 minutes, from 3 to 5 years old - 45 minutes.

The lessons themselves proceed approximately as follows: an audio recording (or video recording) of a funny children's song is turned on, which the child sings and, at the same time, does exercises. This is how the physical education session goes. Then finger games can come into play: mom or dad show the child what to do, and the child, accompanied by the appropriate song, must repeat the actions of the parents (or teacher). Then you can turn on the “alphabet nursery rhyme” for your child, where the authors of the method have written a fascinating nursery rhyme for each letter.

Sergei and Ekaterina Zheleznov We have written a whole series of funny and playful songs, musical and finger games, which can be used both as independent developmental material and as an addition to classes on the main development methodology (for example, the Zheleznovs’ method of early musical development very well complements classes on the Montessori method).

Disadvantages of the Zheleznovs’ technique

Neither parents who are actively introducing the Zheleznovs’ method into their child’s life, nor experts have identified any serious and significant shortcomings of this technique. However, monitoring of specialized parent forums made it possible to identify some comments directly on the methodological material. Some parents noted that:

  • some poems and songs cannot be remembered and repeated by young children, that is, they are quite difficult for them to perceive;
  • since each song is accompanied by instructions that clearly state what and how the child needs to do, children have virtually no opportunity for improvisation;
  • Most of the songs are too similar, so some children quickly get bored with them and become bored.

Father and daughter – Zheleznov Sergei Stanislavovich and Ekaterina Sergeevna are the authors of the program and methodological developments for early musical development “Music with Mom”. They have released a wide variety of audio and video discs with cheerful music, beautiful melodies, simple songs, bright performances, aimed at developing the musical abilities and absolute hearing of children almost from their very birth. The “Music with Mom” technique is popular in many countries around the world.

Sergey Stanislavovich is a teacher with a conservatory education, for several years he led practice in pedagogical universities, for 10 years he taught at children's music schools in Moscow, for more than 20 years he led the early musical development studio “Music with Mom”.

Ekaterina Sergeevna graduated from music pedagogical college No. 7 "Maroseyka" in 2003, specializing in conductor and music director. In 2007 - Moscow State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology, specialization - music teacher and methodologist.

Since 2008 – postgraduate student at the Academy for Advanced Training and Retraining of Education Workers. Currently, Ekaterina is a teacher-methodologist at the early musical development studio “Music with Mom”.

Creation of the “Music with Mom” method

The “Music with Mom” method began to take shape in the early 90s of the last century. At the beginning, the purpose of this technique was to identify and develop the musical abilities of children 3–5 years old and prepare them for entry into music schools. During the lessons, the children sang and played notes on keyboard instruments.

But not all children were ready to study music so seriously. Most parents have strived and strive for the overall development of their children, from a very early age and advocate for them to receive positive emotions in the learning process. But at that time it turned out that there were practically no ready-made materials for classes with children of such an early age.

Then the Zheleznovs themselves began to compose funny play songs, musical exercises and arrange folk nursery rhymes. As a result of such creative work, the “Music with Mom” methodology began to take shape, understandable even to the youngest children.

A characteristic feature of this methodology is the game form of presenting educational material, its comprehensive nature, accessibility and practicality of use, which turns music lessons into a fun educational game.

Fun, musical and rhythmic activities:

Useful for the all-round harmonious development of the personality of children.

They develop an ear for music, rhythm and memory, active speech, emotionality, attentiveness, creativity, fine and gross motor skills, as well as auditory, visual, tactile abilities to perceive information and concentrate attention.

They improve overall physical development, strengthen the muscle corset, and form posture.

Strengthen the nervous system and prevent childhood nervousness.

Develop verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

Develop the ability to interact in a team, achieving mutual understanding and compromise.

They accelerate the exchange of information between the left and right hemispheres, as a result of which the processes of perception, recognition, and thinking are stimulated. In general, children who study music are ahead of their peers in intellectual, social, and psychomotor development.

Principles of the technique

1. Parental participation in the lesson is recognized as necessary and important; forms of participation should be creative and varied.

2. Music becomes clearer and more interesting for children through movements. Therefore, the basis of musical activity for children aged one year and older should be dancing, gesturing, outdoor games and playing music, etc.

3. It is necessary to use phonograms in work, since without them the teacher does not have the opportunity to participate in games and dances, or actively help children while playing a musical instrument. Thanks to phonograms, parents have the opportunity to develop and entertain their children not only in class, but also at home.

4. The criterion for creating sound materials and tasks should be their traditional nature, as well as the interest and pleasure of children.

5. The music should be either classical, but at the same time bright and imaginative, or modern dance, but really good.

6. Early acquaintance with the musical keyboard and playing the easiest songs with singing along is still recognized, although unconventional, but useful and interesting for children from 2-3 years old.

Series of discs for kids

The discs are intended for preschool children from birth.

In many albums, after singing the song, notes sound. This way, children will be able to quickly master musical literacy. After the songs there is a melody, the so-called karaoke version, to which mother and baby can sing independently.

Discs with lullabies - Russian folk lullabies in traditional performance, complemented by the sounds of living nature - “Bayushki-Bayu”, “Sleep, child”, “Come, cat”, etc.

Discs with nursery rhymes provide fun communication with adults, promote the physical, emotional and intellectual development of the little ones - “Polyagushki”, “Water off a Goose”, “Horned Goat”, “Aty-Bati”, etc.

Discs with finger games - develop speech and fine motor skills, children receive a variety of sensory impressions, they develop attentiveness and the ability to concentrate - “Knock, current, spider”, “Monkeys”, “Bees”, “Piglets”, “Worms”, “ Snail”, “Fish”, “Crab”, “Gloves”.

Today, parents are offered a huge number of different methods for the early development of children.
