To work, you will need any combined yarn, which includes both natural and synthetic fibers. Its quantity is approximately 110 grams. And d all knitting needles, size 2.5.
We will knit these wonderful socks 2x2 elastic pattern, as well as a braid pattern, consisting of six loops. Probably every beginning craftswoman knows how to knit an elastic pattern.
Knit the braid according to the pattern.

And this – knitting pattern for the product itself, which you will use while working.

Step-by-step work execution

Cast on 50 stitches on the knitting needles and knit according to the pattern, checking the odd rows according to the pattern.

Having knitted 38 rows according to the patterns presented above, cast on another 20 stitches and turn the knitting over. Knit according to the pattern, and then add another 20 loops, thus getting 90 loops to work with.

  • 40 loops– for knitting with an elastic pattern;
  • 10 loops– for a braid with two purls on each side;
  • 40 loops- for elastic.

Knit the central pattern without changes, and for the sides make decreases, knitting one loop at a time together with the edge. Knit in this way until you get 10 loops on the knitting needles.
Cast on the knitting needles the loops you knitted , starting from row 39. There should be 50 of them.
Decrease along the edges according to the previous instructions., until ten loops are formed on the knitting needles.

  • On a free knitting needle cast on edge loops from rows 1 to 37- in the amount of 18 loops. Using the same knitting needle, knit 10 stitches according to the pattern.
  • Turn the work over and cast on 18 stitches on the other side. Your resulting combination: 18 loops + 10 loops + 18 loops. Together 46.

Decrease stitches along the edges as indicated in the instructions above.

We reduce until there are 10 loops left that need to be closed.

Cut the thread, carefully securing the end.

Wash finished socks in warm water.

Knitting children's socks on 2 knitting needles: step-by-step instructions

A child dressed in knitted socks is not only cute and beautiful, but also very warm. We talked about how to knit tiny ones in one of the previous materials. Booties are worn by the youngest children, and for older children, soft and warm children's socks are knitted with knitting needles. We'll tell you how easy it is to knit this cute accessory for your little one.

  1. This knitting method is also suitable for inexperienced knitters; you need to measure the length of the baby’s foot and cast on the required number of stitches. We start knitting from the cuff with an elastic pattern. We make the cuff 3-4 cm high from the child’s ankle.
  2. Next we move on to the front loops and knit about 8 cm(or as needed according to your foot size).
  3. The most crucial moment is the formation of the heel of the product. We divide the loops into 4 parts (excluding the edge ones).
  4. We knit the heel first from the first three parts, after which we turn the work and yarn over. We knit those loops that are in the middle (of the three parts that we are working with at the moment) and turn the knitting again. Don’t forget to yarn over before the last stitch. until we get 10 loops on the knitting needles.
  5. From now on we knit with an increase. The first loop from the side is knitted with a double crochet and together with the last loop in the middle. We knit until the loops run out.
  6. We continue to knit in stockinette stitch to the place where the thumb is located.
  7. To form the toe, we again divide the loops into 4 parts. In every second row we decrease the loops by knitting the last two loops together. We do this in each of the four parts in four rows. In the next rows we decrease stitches.
  8. At the end we get 4 loops on the knitting needles and tie them together. We fasten the thread.

So we knitted socks on two knitting needles: a simple method for beginners that does not require a lot of time and resources. Warm and cozy socks for a baby can be knitted from leftovers, and if you took new yarn, then you will have enough for socks, and is included in the list of creative projects on our website.

How to knit the heel of a sock on knitting needles: detailed instructions

The toe heel is one of the most important indicators of product quality. The heel is rubbed first, so for knitting it you need to choose strong, high-quality and dense yarn. There are several ways to carefully knit a heel, we talked about some of them earlier in the article.

Knitting socks on two knitting needles differs from the method of knitting on five knitting needles in that we create the product in one continuous fabric using methods of decreasing and adding loops and carefully calculating their number.

Warm wool socks are an indispensable part of any person's wardrobe. In addition, this is a great way for beginner needlewomen to practice and improve their knitting skills. You will learn from our article how to knit socks using the two-knitting technique, and a knitting pattern with a description of the work will help you with this.

Master class on socks on two knitting needles with knitting patterns

Many of us are accustomed to seeing our grandmother busy knitting socks. However, she does this on 5 knitting needles, which for beginners seems like a skill beyond reality. There is also knitting of socks, which is done on two knitting needles.

For a pair of socks size 40-42 you will need the following:

  • Warm wool yarn, about 200 g
  • Knitting needles No. 5 or No. 5.5

Instructions on how to knit socks will be described step by step simply, even if you have not knitted on two knitting needles before.

Stage 1. Elastic band. We cast on 39 loops. We begin to knit with an elastic band, that is, alternating the front and back loops. The last one (before the edge) should be knitted face-on. So we perform about 28 rows. Then the number of loops is mentally divided by 3, 13 in each part. We begin to knit the middle: 34 rows of knit stitches in the center.

Stage 2. Sock. 2 loops connected together and knitted as one will be called combined from now on. We continue to work with the central 13 loops.

In the first row:“combined” knit, 9 loops “face”, “combined” knit.

Second row: 13 knit stitches.

Third row:“combined” facial, 7 “face”, “combined” facial.

Fourth row: 9 knit stitches

Fifth row: combined facial, 5 facial, again “combined”.

Stage 3. Foot. In the first row, 19 additional loops are cast on the left, along the “tongue”, they are knitted “face down”. Next, another 13 knit stitches on the left side along the shin. In the second row, we add 7 loops to the upper side of the “tongue”, 19 from the right side and 13 loops along the shin. We knit everything face to face. Having completed these two rows, count the loops, you should get 71. We knit them with facial stitches for 10 rows.

Stage 4. Sole.

First row:“combined” knit, 28 knit, “combined”, 3 “face”, “combined”, 3 knit, again “combined”, 27 “face”, “combined.”

Second row: the remaining 66 stitches are knitted.

Third row:“combined”, 26 “face”, “combined”, 2 knit, again “combined”, 2 “face”, “combined”, 26 knit, again “combined”.

Fourth row: 61 knit stitches.

Fifth row:“combined”, 24 knit, “combined, 1 “knit”, “combined”, knit loop, “combined”, 25 knit and again “combined”.

Sixth row: 56 "face"

Seventh row: “combined”, 22 knits, 3 “combined” in a row, 24 knits, “combined”.

Eighth row: 51 knit stitches.

Repeat decreasing the loops, starting from row 1, until their number is reduced to 26. We finish the work, close the loops. The foot, heel and shin are sewn together with a crochet hook or just a needle.

The result is these socks on 2 knitting needles:

The scheme of this work is extremely simple: it mainly involves only facial loops (and even “combined” ones are knitted “face”).

Several patterns for knitting socks with patterns

Knitting on 2 needles has its own characteristics, it has its pros and cons. The socks are knitted quite quickly and using two knitting needles is common. The disadvantage is that the parts of the sock are sewn together, but if everything is done carefully, the seam will not be noticeable.

Materials

To knit a sock, you need 2 knitting needles size No. 3.5 and approximately 70 grams of Alize Lanagold classic yarn, composition 51% acrylic, 49% wool.

The sock is designed for foot size 38.

Beginning of work. Elasticated cuff.

Cast on 50 loops: 48 + 2 edge stitches.

Casting on loops

We take out a knitting needle and knit a 1x1 elastic band: one knit and one purl, approximately 10 cm. We knit the first loop, purl the last loop.

You can choose any elastic band, the main thing is to understand the principle of knitting a sock.

In the second row we knit according to the pattern - the front loop along the front loop, the purl loop along the back loop.

We finished knitting an elastic band of about 10 cm.

Then we knit in stockinette stitch: on the front side - all the stitches are knit, on the back - purl. We knit 3 cm from the elastic.

Knitting heels

On the front side we knit 26 loops with facial loops. This will be the underside of the sock.

Turn the fabric and knit with purl stitches in the opposite direction.

We knit the heel: We knit only the first 26 loops with a height of 5 cm using stockinette stitch. The second half remains unchanged. On the front side - with knit stitches, on the wrong side - with purl stitches.

We knit the heel as follows:

On the wrong side we knit 8 loops including the edge purl. loops, then 2 loops together (decrease),

and knit the center of the heel from 6 purl loops, 2 loops together (decrease).

There should be 8 loops left unknitted on the knitting needle. We leave them without knitting, turn the knitting and knit the front side.

We lower the first loop without knitting, 6 loops with facial loops, two loops together.

Turn the knitting to the wrong side. We knit only the middle part: in the middle there are 6 loops and plus the outer loops, which we knit by grabbing one loop on the left and right. We knit until there are not one loop left on the side ones, that is, 8 loops remain (including edge loops) - this is the center of the heel.

We knit the middle with 8 (6+2 edge) knit stitches, then cast on 9 stitches on the wall. and knit the upper part of the sock with facial loops.

We knit along the wrong side to the heel, cast on 9 loops along the second wall of the heel.

Now the knitting needle has 48 + 2 edges again. We knit in stockinette stitch 14 cm.

To complete the sock, knit the toe

On the front side we knit in the following sequence: 2 loops together, 21 knit, 2 loops together. This is the middle of the mating.

We put a marker so as not to confuse the loops when we make decreases in the middle of the sock.

Again 2 loops in place, knit 21 stitches, 2 together. We decrease 4 loops in each row on both the front and back sides. At the beginning of knitting, from the center of knitting, we decrease the loop on the right and left, and at the end of the row.

Decrease on each row until 8 stitches remain.

Then hook the thread through the loops and tighten the loop.

We combine the edges of the product together and sew it with the same threads that were used to knit it.

The sock is ready. We knit the second sock in the same way, constantly comparing so that the products are identical.

Our sock is knitted with the simplest stockinette stitch, to make it more interesting you can use various patterns

A monstrously long description, but in fact there are 2 stages:

- knit rapport *4 rows with fans*

- knit the sole, attaching to the side loops

“Classic” slippers - with pimples, lazy jacquard. You can knit plain, striped or whatever you like. But I will consider the classic version, especially if you have never knitted with “pimples” before.

Knit them for the first time without looking back or trying them on: whether they are small or large, you will definitely give them as a gift, and knit another one for yourself with lightning speed. It is enough to connect once to understand the principle.

1. Cast on 49 loops.
2. Knit 3-5 rows in garter stitch (in knit and purl rows all stitches are knit)
3. (you can knit 2 slippers at once)

1 row(enter yellow thread) : edge stitch, slip 1 stitch as a knit stitch, knit the next one, slip the 4th stitch as a knit stitch, knit the next 5th stitch. When we remove the loop, the thread is at work.

We knit up to the 25th loop, medium. We knit 9 loops from it: knit, yarn over, knit... We remove the 26th, we knit the 27th and so on until the end.

2nd row: We remove the pink loops without knitting the thread before work. We knit the yellow ones with knit stitches, including all 9 loops in the center.
3-4 row: the pink thread is in use again, we knit everything with facial loops.

The next step is to repeat the first 4 rows four more times.
Again we remove the front ones and knit through one, and from the central one, but not the 25th, but the 29th we knit 9 loops. Purl row: remove and knit through one. And 2 rows in “pink”, the main color - all front ones.

In order not to count the central loop every time, I do this: when I approach the fan of the previous row, I carefully look at which loop it has in the middle, and I knit it out of it. Here in the photo I specially took it off the knitting needle.

Using socks for my husband as an example:

7 rapports in height, 7 fans = 25 cm (approximately, measured in a ready-made state) - size 40-42. They turned out to be close to each other, but after washing and wearing they will stretch a little and it will be fine.

6 rapports, 1 smaller fan = 23 cm, my size is 39-40. The height turned out to be about 7.5-8 cm. I knitted 6 repeats in pink slips, measured 20 cm. Thinner threads, knitted tighter. Therefore, I will knit 7 fans in pink.

Look at your footprint and figure out how many stitches you want to make for the sole. In my husband’s, I have 9 cm, in my pink ones - 8. This turned out to be 19 (17 for my husband) loops. And even if you pretended to have an even number, remove 1 loop, please the sole must be odd. And the number of loops on the sides is, accordingly, even.

There will be a sole in the center with arrows. On the sides there are side panels.
And what can we do here? Break the thread, find the starting loop of the sole, join and knit, but the traces are lazy and I don’t do that.
I knit the beginning of the front row, the loops of the first side. I knit the loops of the sole and... turn the knitting over. We will continue to knit only 19 loops, in each row, both front and back, knitting the last loop of the sole, the 19th and the first loop of the side stitch together. Turned over: 18 loops, edge and side loops - two together. This is the principle. With each row, one of our sides is reduced by 1 loop.

How easy to count the middle of the sole, look at the drawing again. Without counting, I knit to the end of the fan, carefully looking at where these 9 loops end, then: one, two, three, four... 5+6 two together, turned. I knit 18 loops, 19+20 two together. Turned around.

How I make a heel:

I love smooth lines and roundness, so my heel is like this. I lay out the knitting in front of me and see how many loops I want to leave directly for the heel. I selected 11 out of 19 loops. And I begin to finger the loops with my fingers, like “clicking an abacus.” These final 11 loops will remain open in the last row and connect to the open loops of the side panels. This means 5 loops on one side, and 5 on the other (you can leave 6, i.e. either 1 loop more or less).
I look further. This means I need to decrease 4 stitches from the sole on each side. I will decrease by knitting not 2 loops together, but 3: 1 from the side, 2 from the sole. I snap off 4 more loops from the sides with my fingers.
Solitaire worked out To move to the heel, I need 9 loops on the sides.

I make reductions: I knit 4 knit and 4 purl rows with 3 loops together.
What is left - look at the photo: 11 loops in the middle and 5 on the sides.
We unwind the tail a little and cut it off; we will use it to sew the backdrop. Since our seam will go exactly in the middle of the current number of loops, we hook it through the loops on the knitting needle so that it sticks out in the center.

Using a hook, we pick up a loop from the side, then a loop from the sole and pull it through the first loop. Again we pick up the loop from the side and pull it through the loop on the hook. We “crochet” the loops of the first side and the loops of half the heel.
Then we do the same with the second side.

Eventually1 loop remains, the tail sticks out nearby. We thread the tail through the loop and sew along the edge back.

Voila:

The forum describes the technique in great detail. There is work on bugs.

Option2:

Here is my description of the simplest slippers. The main thing is that they knit very quickly and easily.
I give a description. just like in the book. And you have to knit from different threads, some tie the loops tighter, others knit weaker.
Knitting needles No. 2, fine wool yarn.
Cast on 75 loops and knit 2 rows with a 1x1 elastic band, slipping the first loop. Here I will deviate a little from the book description to make it clearer.
3rd row: with a 1x1 elastic band we knit 37 loops (the 37th loop should be a purl), yarn over, knit (this is the central one, it must be marked), yarn over, then to the end of the row with a 1x1 elastic band.
4th row: according to the picture.
Row 5: knit 37 loops with 1x1 rib (the 37th loop should be a purl), yo, knit, yo, knit (central), yo, knit, yo, 1x1 rib
Knit according to the pattern to the desired depth. Then continue to knit only the central 7 loops in stockinette stitch, attaching the remaining loops to them: at the end of the front rows, knit 2 loops together with the front loops for the back loops (7th and 8th loops), and at the end of the purl rows - 2 loops together with the purl ( also 7th and 8th). Knit either 2 loops together, or 3, so that the central part is not stretched.
When all the loops on the right and left are attached, knit 7 loops with an elastic band, attaching loops from the side braids to them.
When the heel is knitted, close the loops.
If desired, you can tie slippers.

You can do that, but not with an elastic band

This is the diagram

Option 3:

I cast on 41 loops, knit 5 rows all with knit stitches, then take a thread of a different color, remove the main loop, and knit the auxiliary thread, so knit up to 21 loops. On 21 loops, make a flower from one loop seven, continue row one, remove the auxiliary loop, knit the last edge loop with the wrong side. The first loop is removed, next. row knit the main loop is removed, the auxiliary loop is knitted on the wrong side. The flower is knitted with knit stitches, the flower is obtained with a comb. We knit until the end of the row alternating. The next row is knitted with the main thread, knit, purl, and purl. You need to knit very loosely. What size is needed depends on the row of flowers. We finish the rows with flowers, before knitting the sole we knit 4 rows with the main thread. We tear off the auxiliary thread and tuck it in. We knit the sole with double knitting, it turns out stronger and thicker. Along the front row, knit until the middle of the flower, counting this loop, knit 6 loops 7-8 loops together with the front one. Turn the work to the wrong side, remove 2 knitted loops and knit purl, count 13-14 together inside out, this is the beginning of the sole. We start double knitting, knit row, remove two loops together, trace. also removed, trace. knitted, so on until the end of the row. At the end of the 2 together, again 2 together are removed by knitting inside out and again 2 together. Along the front row, do not confuse the 2 outer ones, 1 knit is removed. If you don't confuse the loops, it will turn out to be tracks. So, knit to the heel, decreasing 2 loops in each row. There should be 13 loops in the sole. We bend the heel, knit 2-3 cm in double stitches. On the front row we decrease 2 loops together so that there are 9 loops left in the row, then purl. Knit 2 stitches again, there are seven left, knit 3-4 cm to the border, knit the border all with knit 1 loop, close 1 loop in the border, 6 stitches will remain in the border.

OPTION 3

BEAUTIFUL slippers.

Knitting: persons. loops; size: 38-39.
Cast on 69 stitches. Knit 3-4 rows with an elastic band, mark the Middle Loop (hereinafter PS):

1st row (after elastic) front:
knit in a Different Color (DC): 3 stitches (knit the first one too), remove 1 stitch (thread at work), etc. Knit to the middle: before the PS, lift one loop from the previous row and knit it “crossed” further PS remove without knitting, thread at work; again one “crossed” one from the previous row; K2, remove 1 (thread at work), k3. etc., etc.; at the end of 2 persons. p. and 1 p. P.
2nd row (purl)
Remove 1 st stitch, knit 2, slip 1 stitch (thread before work), knit 3, slip 1 stitch, etc.
3rd row knit (knit OC): k1. p., 1 remove (thread at work), knit 3. etc. knit until the middle. Before PS, knit a cross. p. from the previous row; PS knit; 1 cross, p., then in a mirror image, at the end of 1 purl.

4th row (purl)
1p. take off; Remove 1 p. (thread before work), k3. etc., etc. Knit to the middle; PS knit purl; further according to the drawing, removing the wire. p (thread before work), etc.
5th row, knit (knit DC)
knit as 1st row. etc
When there are 7 stripes of OC and DC (i.e. there should be 97 stitches on the knitting needles)

Next, knit 2 rows (knit and purl rows) DC, then OC. Next we move on to the sole. The principle of knitting is like in the “7 out of 7” tracks: I knit like this. 54 p.; 2 persons together; turn knitting, remove 1, knit 11; 2 together purl; turn the knitting again, remove 1; 11 persons. etc. When there are 5 stitches left on each side of the knitting needles, knit not 2, but 3 stitches. Knit together like this 3 times. When there are 9 stitches left on the knitting needles, pull them together with thread and sew the back seam

Who said that indoor slippers have to be rubber or store-bought? You can make home slippers yourself. In this article we will tell you how to do this. First of all, the color of the future product is selected. In our article, the slippers will be two-color.

You should start from the cast-on edge with a dark thread, in which there are 69 loops, and knit 4 rows with an elastic band 1x1. Next, the middle loop is marked, and the next row is knitted with a different color (for example, white) with knit stitches. This row determines the further appearance of the slippers. It should be knitted like this (the edge loop is also involved in the pattern): knit 3 knit stitches with white thread, leave the thread behind the work and remove one loop without knitting. According to this pattern, knit to the center loop. Before this loop you need to knit 2 knit stitches, pull out another one from the previous row and... then, remove the central loop without knitting. Finish the row in the same pattern as you started.

The purl row is knitted according to the pattern of the product: purl the purl loops, and remove the removed ones without knitting, thread before work. Knit the fourth row in the same way as the second, only now remove the edge loop, remove the white knit stitch without knitting, then knit three knit stitches with a dark thread. Knit like this until the central loop, in front of which pull out a new loop from the previous row, then knit the middle loop and pull out a loop from the previous row again. Until the end of the row, knit in the same way as the beginning. You should alternate colors until the canvas has 8 stripes of white and black.

Next you should move on to knitting the sole. 56 loops are knitted with facial loops and 2 loops are knitted together. Turn the work and remove one loop, knit 11 loops and purl 2 loops together. Knit like this until there are 5 loops on each side. Next, knit 3 loops together: 2 loops from the sole and one from the side.

Knitting ends when there are three loops left on the knitting needles, through which you should pull the thread and make a securing stitch. This is how you can make home slippers that you won’t want to take off.

Socks with two knitting needles

I liked this method of knitting socks on two needles so much that I don’t knit any other way. This pattern is from the "lazy patterns" series. Suitable for mittens, hats, and any knitting. I knit with two different threads - dark wool, light synthetic. This way there is less wiping, and the wool mainly remains inside the knitting.

Socks-slippers
Let's say we take a blue and a red thread! Cast on 49 loops with blue thread. Knit 2 rows. Then we change the thread and knit 2 rows with red thread. Then we reattach the blue thread.
And now carefully row 5: we remove the first loop as usual, we also remove the second loop, we knit the 3rd loop with the front blue thread, we simply remove 4, the 5th front, 6 we remove, 7 the front,..., 47 the front, 48 we remove, 49 we knit the purl as usually! You should end up with loops of different colors on the needle alternately.
We knit the 6th row like this: we remove the first loop with a blue thread, we also remove the 2nd loop, but so that the blue thread is behind the front of the loop, that is, it should pass on the wrong side of the product, the 3rd loop is the front one, the 4th loop is like 2, etc. d. to the end of the row.
Row 7: take the red thread and knit 2 rows.
9th row: take the blue thread, and start knitting the same way as in the 5th row, remove one, knit one..., so we knit 23 loops, remove the 24th loop, and from the 25th loop we make 9 loops (knit, yarn over, knit, yarn over, etc. etc.), remove 26, knit 27, etc. until the end of the row.
10th row: we knit exactly the same as the 6th row, and we knit the loops that were knitted from the 25th loop of the previous row, and continue the same as in the 6th row.
Row 11-12: take the red thread and knit.
Now we knit 9,10,11,12 rows alternating to get 7 flowers (9 out of 1) - the number of flowers can be added or subtracted depending on the size of the foot.
It turns out that you finished with two rows of knit stitches with red thread.
Knit the next rows as 5,6,7,8.
And then you knit the trail, just as I described it in the first case.
I knitted the trail with threads of two colors together. In our case, blue and red. This makes the trail denser! You can also add synthetic thread to the mark for strength.
Well, the sock is ready. Try it!
The footprint and heel are knitted like this.
You should have 105 loops on your knitting needles (if you knitted according to my description based on 7 flowers being knitted). I knit the trail from 11 loops. that is: (105-11)/2=47. In total you knit 47 loops. Then another 10 loops, knit the 11th and 12th loops together, then turn the knitting, knit 10 loops again, the 11th and 12th together, turn again, and so on until you run out of loops. It turns out almost the same as the heel of a sock. Then close the loops and sew the heel. Knitting is finished.

The idea and technology were taken from Osinka, but were changed due to a dislike for seams.

SLIPPERS - “SHELLS 7 out of 1” on 5 knitting needles.

A great way to get rid of leftover yarn and do something nice for people.
They knit up quickly, look good, and can be made very warm. The method is universal; you can knit both women's and children's slippers.
This description is made for sizes 36 to 39 and for the yarn described below.
Approximate dimensions of the slipper when folded:
cuff 10 cm,
length after additions are completed 22 cm
"depth" 13 cm.
Yarn about 100 m in 50 g. Stocking needles No. 3.5. The main color thread takes a little more than 50 g, probably 65-70 grams. There is very little contrast, 30 grams. You can take a little more thread to add it when knitting the sole - to make it thicker or warmer. Well, or both at once.
All this varies greatly; it is enough to knit one pair to understand all the nuances.
Important note. We knit all the odd rows with knit stitches, and the even rows with purl stitches to get a garter stitch.
Cuff.
We cast on 48 loops on the knitting needles. We knit row 1, distributing the stitches over 4 knitting needles and trying not to twist the knitting. The next row is purl (see above).
The cuff can be knitted in a single color; striped, alternating the main color with a contrasting one; wide, narrow - any, but its last 2 rows should be the main color. I usually knit 4 - 6 rows.
The marker is the tail left when casting on the loops.
Important note.
The loop from which we will knit 7 loops is the first loop on the 3rd knitting needle.
Additions.
Attach a thread of a contrasting color.
Contrast thread.
1. Odd row.
We knit as follows to the first loop on the 3rd knitting needle: we knit 1 knit stitch in a contrasting color, remove the next loop (of the main color) as in purl knitting (thread at work), etc.
That is, when all the loops on two knitting needles are knitted, we get alternating loops of contrasting and main colors.
We knit 7 loops from one in a contrasting color: (knit, yarn over) 3 times, knit. Try to knit these 7 loops very loosely. This is our first “shell”.
Next, we continue to knit on the 3rd and 4th needles as written above: remove one, knit the next one in a contrasting color.
2. Even row.
We knit a contrasting loop on the wrong side, remove the loop of the main color in the same way as in the front row. We knit the “shell” loops with a contrasting thread using purl loops. For the convenience of further work, we knit the first three “shell” loops with a second knitting needle. Then the loop from which the next “shell” will be knitted will again be the first on the 3rd knitting needle. Next we knit as the beginning of the purl row: remove, knit, etc.
Thread of the main color.

Contrast thread.
3. Odd row.
Same as 1. Odd row, but slip off the first stitch and knit the next one in a contrasting color. Then the “speckles” will be arranged in a checkerboard pattern.
4. Even row.
Same as 2. Even row., i.e. remove the loop of the main color, and purl the contrasting one.
Thread of the main color.
We knit 2 rows (front - back).
We repeat these rows until we get 8 shells (finish with a contrasting thread). For thick threads or children's slippers there may be less, depending on the size and thread.
"Thickness" of the sole.
We break off the contrasting thread and knit straight with the main color, without additions,
6-8 rows.
Important note.
The central loop for forming the heel is the first loop on the 1st needle.
In the last two rows of the “thickness” of the sole, we begin to form the heel, namely: we knit the last 2 stitches together on the 4th knitting needle; knit or purl 1st stitch on 1st needle (depending on whether it is an even or odd row); 2 loops together with a slant to the left: slip one, knit the next one, pull it through the removed loop.
We make decreases for the sole in each row.
Sole.
If you want to add some more thread, you can use the contrasting one that has already been used.
We knit 12 rows, alternating the front and back rows and forming the toe and heel. How the heel is formed is written above; we take the first loop on the first knitting needle as its center.
The sock is formed in a similar way, but only in the front rows: we knit the last 2 stitches together on the 2nd knitting needle; knit 1st stitch on 3rd needle; 2 loops together with a slant to the left on the 3rd knitting needle: slip one, knit the next one, pull it through the removed loop.
We knit the 13th row with knit stitches, making the same decreases. Then we close the loops with three knitting needles (see description from the Internet).
There may be fewer rows of sole, again depending on the size and thickness of the yarn.
It only seems scary at first glance: the first knitting needle, the third knitting needle... In fact, the logic of knitting is easily comprehended and then everything is done only with your hands, without involving the brain.
Once I had 2 skeins of yarn, 50 g, 100 m each. There was absolutely no primary color; there was plenty of contrast left. Then I unraveled the sole of the already knitted slipper and tied it through one row: a row of the main color, a row of contrasting color, etc. The threads were gone almost without a trace. This is about the issue of yarn consumption.

It must be said that the slippers are a kind of knitted slippers. You can knit casual footwear as well as dressy ones. Quite interesting marks will come out of yarn of different colors. They are suitable for wear by both adults and children. When worn, the footprints will take the shape of a leg, so you won’t feel them.

Note that the process of creating knitted footwear is quite simple. Today we offer knitting footwear on two knitting needles. In this case, you will have beautiful and elegant slippers that you will wear for a long time. They can be presented as a gift to friends or relatives.

Let's move on to working on the sole of the footprint.

In the first row of the sole (the central fourteen loops) we will knit as follows: remove 1 loop, make 12 facial loops, two loops together (1 central plus 1 from the side). Next we turn the knitting.

Second row of sole: remove 1 loop, knit 12 loops, knit 2 loops together (1 central plus one from the other side). Turn the knitting to the other side.

Then you should move on to working on the back of the heel: the 14 loops that you have left will be knitted according to the pattern for 16 rows.

The tracks are knitted using leftover yarn. You should knit from heel to heel. Use the short row method: cast on 25 stitches, garter stitch.

Here is a short description of how to knit. You should end up with similar footed slippers as in the photo.

Rows 1 and 2 - knit 25 stitches in black.
Rows 3 and 4 - use red for 20 stitches.
Rows 5 and 6 - use black for 25 stitches.
Rows 7 and 8 - knit 15 stitches in red.
Rows 9 and 10 - knit 25 stitches in black.
11th and 12th row - again red color 10 loops.
Rows 13 and 14 - use black for 25 stitches.
15th and 16th row - knit 15 loops in red.
and so on... after which the product is stitched.

Such slippers are suitable for knitting even for beginner needlewomen, those who have never knitted socks or footwear before, because... They are knitted very simply on two needles, in garter stitch. First, you get a blank in the form of a rectangular trapezoid, and then it is stitched in a certain way and you get these knitted slippers.

You will need:

For size 36-37 - 80-100 g of yarn, 2 knitting needles No. 4

Drawing:

Garter stitch (all rows are knit stitches) and 1×1 rib.

Operating procedure:

Cast on 28 stitches and knit 1-2 rows with right rows. Next, mark the 10th loops on both edges of the knitting and continue knitting with knit stitches, only knit the marked loops on the wrong side of the fabric with purl loops, and on the front side with knit stitches, these will be the dividing lines between the sole and the sides of the slippers. Knit 10 cm in this way, then nail 1 loop near the dividing lines on the side of the sole, and then another 9-10 cm.

Now you need to rebuild the knitting pattern for 1×1 elastic. Having tied 3-4 cm with an elastic band, break the thread, thread it through a needle, stitch it and pull off the loops of the last row, then sew a third of the fabric with the same thread.

All that remains is to sew the back connecting seam correctly. Sew the middle 8 loops and pull them tightly, and sew the outer 10 loops with a loop-to-loop knitted stitch.

If desired, you can crochet the edges of the slippers and decorate them with knitted decorative flowers.
