Do you like lace, fluffy skirts and dresses? I am very! But you don’t always want to mess with frills and a sewing machine 🙂 Let’s try to combine lace and crochet?

For knitting with lace we need yarn, I used cotton yarn Violet from YarnArt (50g / 282m), hook 1.5mm and lace.

Lace is better to take with a margin. It took me about 4.5 m for the first skirt, and 5.4 m for the second. The width of the white lace is 3-3.5 cm, and the pink one is 4-4.5 cm

In descriptions I use the following abbreviations:

V.p. - air loop

RLS - single crochet

PSBN - single crochet

CCH - single crochet

Prop. - skip

Track. - next

Row 1: We form the first row of a lace frill, performing a chain stitch through the lace:

1. Tuck the edge of the lace and insert the hook into the 1st hole of the lace through both fabrics, insert the hook from top to bottom (from the front side to the wrong side).

2. Pick up the thread and pull the loop to the front side.

3. Step back on the lace 1.3 cm and insert the hook from top to bottom into the hole in the lace, pick up the thread and pull up the loop, pull it through the 1st loop.

Repeat the 3rd paragraph 119 more times. At the end of the row, before making the last loop, cut off the lace and tuck the edge to the wrong side, and perform the last. through both canvases, connect a row of PSBN.

In total in a row - 120 p. And lace consumption - 1.8 m.

Row 2: 3 vp (counts as 1st SSN), 1 CCH in each p., it is better to insert the hook behind the upper wall of the p., connect.

Row 3: 3 ch, 1 dc in each st, connect.

Row 4: 3 ch, CCH in the next. 3 p., 2 dc with a common top, * dc in the next. 4 p., 2 CCH with a common top * - 19 times, connect. (100 CCH)

Row 5: We form the second row of the lace frill, performing the chain stitch through the lace and loops of the 4th row:

1. Tuck the edge of the lace, remove the hook from the loop and insert it into the 1st hole of the lace through both fabrics, insert the hook from top to bottom (from the front side to the wrong side).

3. Step back on the lace 1.3 cm and insert the hook from top to bottom into the hole in the lace, then into the next. row, pick up the thread and pull up the loop, pull it through the 1st loop. Repeat this point until the end of the row.

In total in a row - 100 p. At the end of the row, before performing the last loop, cut off the lace and tuck the edge to the wrong side, and perform the last. through both canvases, connect a row of PSBN.

For the second frill, it took me 1.5 m of lace.

Rows 6 - 7: 3 ch, 1 dc in each st, connect. At the end of the 7th row - turn.

Row 8: in this row we open the circle - ch 3, CCH in the next. 3 p. behind the back wall of the p., * 2 CCH with a common top, CCH in the next. 3 p. * - 19 times, CCH in the next. p., SSN in the next. 4 remaining half loops of the beginning of the row, turn. (85 CCH)

Row 9: We form the third row of a lace frill, performing a chain stitch through the lace and loops of the 8th row:

1. Ch 1, RLS in the next. 5 p. (plank), tuck the edge of the lace, remove the hook from the loop and insert it into the 1st hole of the lace through both webs.

2. Pick up the working loop and pull it to the front side through the lace.

3. Step back on the lace 1.3 cm and insert the hook from top to bottom into the hole in the lace, then into the next. row, pick up the thread and pull up the loop, pull it through the 1st loop.

We continue to knit until the end of the row, before making the last loop, cut off the lace and tuck the edge to the wrong side, and perform the last. n. through both canvases, turn. The third frill took 1.2 m of lace.

Row 10:

Row 11: Ch 3, 1 dc in each st, turn.

Row 12: 3 ch, CCH in the next. 4 p., * 2 CCH with a common top, CCH in the next. 2 p. * - 19 times, CCH in the next. 4 p., turn. (66 SSN)

Row 13: We form the fourth row of lace frill - knit as row 9. Lace consumption - 90 cm.

Row 14: Ch 3, 1 dc in each st, insert the hook behind the upper half loop, turn.

Good afternoon

It's no secret that girls love to play with dolls.

Dolls are different. Now small dolls have appeared on the market, the size of which is only 10.5 cm. And the clothes for the dolls are not of very good quality. Therefore, they have to invent a wardrobe on their own. One option is to crochet the doll's dress yourself.

To knit a dress for a doll, we need:

  1. Cotton threads in white and yellow.
  2. Hook 1.5 mm thick.
  3. Thread and needle.
  4. Decorative button.

Explanation of abbreviations:

VP - air loops.

SS - connecting column.

CCH - double crochet.

RLS - single crochet.

We begin to knit a dress for a doll.

First we knit the top of the dress for the doll

1. We collect a chain, which will consist of 16 air loops (VP).

2. From the VP we make a ring. Let's make 2 VP for lifting.

3. We make a set of 31 double crochets (CCH) for a chain of VP.

4. We make a rise from 4 VP.

5. We collect from each top of the columns of the previously knitted row in turn 1 CCH + VP.

6. We connect the row with a connecting column (SS).

7. We cut the thread and thread it on the wrong side. The top of the dress is ready.

We knit the bottom of the dress for the doll

8. To do this, attach a yellow thread.

9. We collect 3 VP and under the same arch we make CCH. Then we make a set of 4 more CCHs (grab at the top of each CCH of the previously connected row and under each VP).

10. To make cutouts for the arms, you need to skip 9 CCH. We introduce the hook into the 10th column.

11. Starting from this column, we collect 16 CCH.

12. We skip 9 more CCHs. Starting from the 10th column, we collect 10 CCH. We close the row of SS.

13. Perform a set of 3 VPs to start the next row.

14. We collect columns without a crochet (RLS). In this case, it is necessary to skip 1 CCH in the previously knitted row. So we get arches from three VPs.

15. At the end of the series, we will perform 1 VP and together we will make CCH at the beginning of the series.

16. Again we make a rise from 3 VP.

17. We knit a row of arches on the wrong side. RLS we knit under the arches of the previous row.

18. We finish the row in the same way as the previous one.

19. We knit a row of arches on the front side. We finish the row in the same way as the two rows previously connected.

20. We dial 3 VP for the next row.

21. In the first arch we knit CCH.

22. In the next arch and in all the rest we knit 3 CCH.

23. We close the row with the help of the SS in the third VP of the beginning of the row.

24. We knit the next row. We're picking up the rise.

25. We knit CCH at the top of the column of the previously knitted row.

26. We carry out similar work to the end of the row.

27. We recruit VP, and then 3 CCH under the first arch.

28. Until the end of the row, we make a set of 4 CCH and VP for each of the arches.

29. We connect the beginning and end of the row.

30. We get a dress 5.5 cm long.We decorate the dress with a decorative button.

And we try on the dress we knitted for the doll.
