It is also worth noting that such a pastime contributes to the development of some important skills. The same fine motor skills, imagination and fantasy. And games in which the passage is devoted to the consideration of the alphabet or a number series, such games will generally perfectly replace the monotonous program of many kindergartens. It is enough to download a few of these games and the problem with what to captivate the baby will dissolve by itself.

The advantage of such fun is that the boys and girls themselves willingly take on them. They do not need to be persuaded to take a tablet or laptop. For them, it will only be a joy with Nyusha or Barash to arrange fun in the garden on the lawn. Or, together with Rosa and Timokha, put together a puzzle of details. Luntik is generally an indispensable teacher, he will tell you what is edible and what is not.

He will show you how to spot the differences or collect pollen, show off jars of jam and offer to count them.

Tiny peanuts are not only the love and joy of our whole life, but also those who need our constant attention. Paying attention means dealing with kids, developing them and educating them. Children of the first year of life are often offered classes for physical development. As children grow up, games for the development of thinking, attention and creativity become more and more useful and relevant.

What activities to choose for kids who have already celebrated their first big birthday? This difficult but interesting period the baby meets with wide eyes and readiness for new knowledge and discoveries. Finding good and educational games for children aged 1-2 is very easy. Many of the games are passed down from generation to generation and are sometimes felt at the level of intuition.

At 1-2 years old, any bright material, cereals, paints - everything that any mother has at hand can become the object of the game!

Main directions for development

It is important for preschool children to develop the following skills:

The early preschool period can be divided into three main stages: 1-1.5 years, 1.5-2 years and 2-3 years. Each of them has its own characteristics, but it is very important for parents to constantly develop the baby, not letting his upbringing take its course. Let's analyze the basic skills inherent in each individual stage.

1-1.5 years

Children learn:

  • walk and jump (with mother's help);
  • throw the ball;
  • name things;
  • imitate the sounds of animals, objects;
  • distinguish colors;
  • listen, understand and comply with requests;
  • distinguish objects by size;
  • keep count up to 5;
  • manipulate toys (feed the doll, cook dinner, roll the car, rock the bunny, etc.);
  • sing along to simple songs, repeat nursery rhymes, rhymes;
  • engage in manual labor (glue cut parts, paint with a brush on paper).

Small details should not be trusted to such a small child - for now, he is interested in playing with volumes, shapes and colors - a ball, large colored cubes, pyramids

1.5-2 years

Children are learning:

  • to distinguish not only primary colors, but also their shades;
  • understand and fulfill polysyllabic requests (“Take a bear, put it in a stroller and sing a song”);
  • distinguish not only the size, but also the shape of objects;
  • keep score 1-10;
  • call objects with a full word (“spoon” instead of “ka”);
  • imitate the sounds of animals, birds, objects;
  • manipulate with toys (carry sand in the car, feed the bunny with a spoon, build a tower of cubes);
  • throw the ball;
  • sing songs and repeat rhymes and nursery rhymes;
  • distinguish between numbers and letters (a small part);
  • engage in manual labor (with the help of an adult, glue the application, use pencils and felt-tip pens, draw with a brush).

More information can be found in the article

A child under two years of age loves building from cubes and a large designer, a plot can already be introduced into games, they have their own characters and stories

2-3 years

It's time to learn:

  • to distinguish between primary colors, their shades, and also be able to mix paints to get the desired color (we recommend reading:);
  • keep count up to 10;
  • to distinguish between the relative size (higher-lower, farther-closer, large-smaller), as well as the shape of objects (triangular, round, square);
  • add and subtract prime numbers using available examples (another girl came to two girls, now there are three girls);
  • describe events in simple sentences;
  • understand the content of the tale and answer questions about what they have read;
  • manipulate with toys (build simple objects from the constructor, play role-playing games);
  • memorize poems and songs;
  • know how letters and numbers are written;
  • engage in manual labor (make applications, sculpt from dough, plasticine, draw with pencils, felt-tip pens, paints, make crafts from natural material).

When the child's age approaches the three-year mark, you can actively include creative skills in his development program - drawing, music (xylophones, children's musical instruments), modeling

Lessons per year

Finger painting

Drawing with children is a new and exciting process that allows you to explore the unusual and develop your imagination. Children are more interested in the process of creativity than the result.

For comfortable work, prepare a working area: cover the table with oilcloth, prepare paints, water, a brush (if desired), napkins. Kids at this age are extremely restless, so you should not plan to color more than one picture at a time. Give your child no more than three colors to choose from.

Before the baby begins to try his hand, show how to properly dip your finger in the paint. Do this with your hand, holding the baby's finger, then start carefully coloring the picture. Encourage and praise the baby for success, so you will stimulate in him the desire to create.

Finger paints are great fun for kids who are kinesthetic by nature, that is, they love to touch and try everything with their hands.

Maybe it's too early to use this material for one-year-old babies? Of course, complex adult crafts are not yet available for children of this age, but plasticine is an excellent tool for developing fine motor skills, so you can start now. Modeling opens up a huge scope for creativity in front of the child. Modern plasticine differs from old samples, it is more elastic and does not stick to hands at all. Working with such material is a real pleasure. The child will be interested in adding details to an already finished picture, which you can draw yourself or buy a blank.

At first, sculpt small balls that the baby will have to press with his finger at the selected place in the picture. Drawings should be with simple plots: add sweets to a vase, feed a dog or depict rain from a cloud. Having learned to press the ball to flatten it, the child can try to smear the plasticine in different directions to get a new interesting picture. You should start with a simple action - pressure. Important Tips:

  • It is recommended to stick balls in advance so that the child does not wait for a “new portion” of work, because it is difficult for him to concentrate on one thing for a long time.
  • Do not leave the baby unattended, otherwise he may try to taste the plasticine.
  • After class, remove the plasticine in a place inaccessible to the child.
  • As an alternative to plasticine, take the dough, which you can make yourself from water and flour.

Plasticine modeling is a very interesting activity that can unite toddlers and older kids. The latter will be happy to show their brother or sister how to mold something beautiful

Reading books

Choose simple and bright books, where there are a lot of beautiful pictures that attract attention. Accompany your reading with games and voice acting. For example, act out the story with your favorite toys, or pretend a frog croaks or a bunny jumps. Children love to read the same book over and over - even though you're already tired of it, read it over and over again as long as it is interesting to the baby.

"School of the Seven Dwarfs" is an excellent didactic complex for the development of children of different ages. All sets are divided by age (from birth to the school itself). Each annual complex contains 12 books, where you will find a large number of interesting tasks that have been developed by specialists in child psychology and education, which means they will be useful to your baby.

Games with cubes, pyramids and sorters

After 1 year, children are happy to play with blocks. Offer the child the simplest actions: make a tower of two or three cubes, gradually increasing the number of cubes.

Use developing sorters (cubes with holes of different shapes and figures corresponding to the shape of these holes). A seemingly simple task is very difficult for a child, but it develops his brain very well.

Pyramid is one of the most favorite activities for a 1 year old baby. With the help of a pyramid, a child will master such concepts as “more-less” and learn how to make a whole structure from separate parts.

Active games with objects

Such games in 1-2 years are the best solution. For classes, choose large bright objects. Tasks can be simple and active: collect items in a basket, throw a ball, take the doll to kindergarten. Classes can be with a developing bias: mom asks to take and bring any item. All kids love to touch, crush and taste objects - give him the opportunity to realize his desires. Offer your child objects with different textures, surfaces and shapes. When giving the next thing to a child, name its characteristics (big, hard, warm, fluffy, etc.).

Finger games are not only interesting for the child, but also very useful. They are great for developing fine motor skills and imagination.

Continue to develop fine motor skills with simple and interesting movements, accompanied by voice acting. Do not forget - the more you knead the children's fingers, the more likely it is that the child will speak soon. If the child does not want to play such games, you can simply give him a useful massage of the fingers and palms or offer a rubber ball with spikes to play with.

Games with household items: clothes, dishes

A large number of toys in the house does not exclude the craving of small children for everyday things. They tend to repeat adult actions and do everything like a mother. Playing with dishes is a favorite pastime for children. There is a lot of room for imagination here: put trays into each other, hide something in a saucepan, transfer vegetables from a bowl to a saucepan.

Bulk material games

One year olds love this activity. Such exercises stimulate the development of sensory perception. Fingers will become more and more dexterous and obedient. For classes, choose any bulk materials and cereals: rice, buckwheat, semolina, millet. Then mom needs to pour a thin layer of cereal on a tray and show how you can draw with this material. For work, it is advisable to choose a tray with high sides, although it does not guarantee the absence of scattered cereals on the floor. The kid will probably want to first study the cereal - do not interfere with such an acquaintance.

Cereals and legumes can be dyed with hypoallergenic food coloring, especially rice. You can also buy ready-made colored materials for the development of fine motor skills.

Everything new for children under 2 years old is very important. They need to deal with new material, try it by touch and taste, sort out each type of cereal in their palm. Perhaps the kid will be interested in just such actions, and not in the process of drawing - do not rush things, let the baby just get acquainted with unusual material in the first lesson.

Next time you can try to show the implementation of simple drawings (circles, squares). Over and over again, the child will try to draw more and more new drawings (zigzags, waves, stripes). Such activities with cereals are great for developing fine motor skills in babies aged 1,2 and 3 years.

Outdoor games

Outdoor games develop not only the large motor skills of the baby, but in general have a beneficial effect on all body systems. Particular attention should be paid to the speech accompaniment of classes: “on”, “sat down”, “got up”, etc. - this helps to regulate the pace and breathing of the baby and, in general, activates it. Movement exercises can be done both at home and while walking in the fresh air, combining them with jumps, squats, running and simple walking. Each game is repeated about 3 times a week. We offer several options.

With toys

We collect balls

  • You will need two types of balls - small and larger, and two boxes of similar sizes. Saying the value, first we help the crumbs: “a big ball goes into a big box, and a small one goes into a small one.” Then we give the child the opportunity to do it on his own.
  • Starting from 1 year 10 months, you can also start pronouncing the colors of the balls.

Ball sorting is suitable for both one-year-olds and three-year-olds - classes become more difficult with age

Looking for a toy

  • We place the toy in a conspicuous place, and together with the little one we go in search, supporting him under the armpits or by the arms.
  • You can put 3-4 toys in the corner of the room and ask the baby to take exactly the thing that you name.
  • We hide the toy under the cover so that only part of it is visible: the cat's tail, the doll's hair.

We crawl to the rattle

  • We put the rattle at a distance of 1 meter and ask the baby to crawl to it, then help him get up, pick up the rattle and ring it.
  • We complicate the task - the child must perform all the actions on his own. Next time, put 2 rattles on the floor, take both of them.
  • Depending on age, we increase the distance: 1-1.5 years - up to 2 meters; 1.5-2 years - up to 2-3 meters; 2-3 years - up to 3-4 meters.

Without items

  • locomotive(from 1.5 to 3 years). We stand in front of the baby, he is behind, holding on to you. We begin to move forward, imitating the whistle of a locomotive. We complicate the task - we change places; Alternately “adjust” the volume of the beep - sometimes quietly, sometimes loudly.
  • Train ride. Together with the baby, we sit on chairs, perform circular movements with our hands, imitate the beep “Tu-tu”, stamp our feet. At the signal “Arrived!”, “Stop - forest / village” - we run around the room and collect “mushrooms / flowers”.

The total duration of active training in the table.

How to captivate a curious one-year-old toddler? Many mothers ask themselves this question, since it is quite difficult to combine activities with a baby and household chores. Moreover, after a year of activity, the crumbs become more active, but perseverance is still not enough.

We offer you a list of exciting games that will help to briefly occupy a child of 1-2 years old and at the same time develop finger motor skills, attention, and sensory skills.

It is not difficult to captivate a baby up to a year old, for this you need a regular rattle, a rotating mobile or a developing rug.

But by the first round anniversary, children begin to actively explore the space: they either crawl quickly or take their first steps. No wonder parents now need to come up with new ideas for activities with crumbs.

Let's look at two options: joint games with mom and independent activities of the baby, when a woman needs to free up a little free time for herself and at the same time keep the child busy with something.

We offer several interesting games for children from one to two years old.

What to do with a child in 1-2 years: joint games

The best partner for one-year-old children is his beloved mother.

At this age, the company of the child's peers is not yet attracted, since neither he nor other children can yet come up with ideas for entertainment.

What games can parents offer to the baby?

  1. Bubble. Perhaps there is no crumb in the world who would not like to watch how water turns into multi-colored transparent balls. Children are interested in everything in this process: where do bubbles come from, how can they be blown, why do they burst? The little one will definitely want to create soap bubbles herself, which is why this activity is sometimes delayed until the solution in the jar runs out.
  2. Drawing. A 12-month-old child already draws with finger paints with obvious pleasure, by the age of two he can already cope with gouache, watercolor painting. The most important thing is to choose a safe paint and create a workplace, and then watch how the baby mixes paints, puts handprints and fingers. By the way, in this case, rolls of old wallpaper will come in handy. They are much more economical than expensive albums.
  3. Modeling. You can sculpt from special salt dough or ordinary soft plasticine. Just do not buy fragrant plastic mass, because the child will definitely want to try it. Show him the simplest exercises: roll up a ball, sausage, demonstrate how to make a cake. Do not expect beautiful figures, at this age children are interested in studying the properties of materials. The advantage of such an activity is undeniable - the active development of fine motor skills!
  4. Role-playing games. A one and a half year old child is already showing a genuine interest in role-playing. At this moment, he imitates the actions of his parents, which he sees daily. Usual plots: feed the doll, do exercises with her, swaddle her, rock her in the stroller, put her to bed. And yet, without my mother's help, we can not do it yet. Closer to three years, the plots of games will become more complex, because imagination will be added to direct experience.
  5. Reading books. One-year-old children cannot yet perceive long works with a plot, so leave fairy tales for later. One or two years is the age for reading poems, jokes. Usually, classical children's literature goes with a bang: poems by A. Barto, K. Chukovsky, etc. By the way, take these works as a basis for children's mini-performances by purchasing a finger theater or making it from ordinary gloves.
  6. Walking games. Outdoor games are limited only by my mother's imagination. You can play with other children in the playground by taking the ball outside with you. Feed the pigeons a piece of an old loaf, thereby developing children's motor skills and powers of observation. Swing on a swing, make a snowman in winter, collect bright leaves in autumn. In summer, the list of entertainment is greatly expanded.
  7. Mobile games at home. Without these useful activities, it is difficult to imagine a normal day with a baby. You can’t sit the baby at the table for several hours and wait for him to draw, sculpt or collect something. If the baby walks confidently, play hide and seek, tag or catch up with him. If he is just taking his first steps, just roll the ball on the floor or jump on the fitball.
  8. Cubes, nesting dolls, pyramids. Let your activities with the baby be not only fun, but also useful. For this, it is not enough to buy educational toys, adults definitely need to get involved in games, teach the child to interact with objects. For children 1-2 years old, cubes, pyramids, insert frames, sorters, large constructors, musical instruments are suitable.
  9. Grain games. Take a large basin with semolina, put a lot of "secrets" and "treasures" in it. It can be small toys, jar lids, curly pasta. By the way, on pallets or on large dark dishes, you can draw unusual pictures with children's fingers.
  10. Balloons. Great fun activity for little kids. On the ball you can draw funny faces with a felt-tip pen. The balloon can be inflated and released without tying the neck - joyful cries cannot be avoided. The little researcher will be interested for a long time how a large and light ball is obtained from such a small rag.
  11. Housework. Sometimes you don't need to come up with new activities for the child, just letting him help you with the housework is enough. For example, give a toddler a sponge and a damp cloth and show him how to dust. Two-year-olds can already wield a floor brush and wash dishes. Put your child on a small pedestal near the sink, lather with a sponge and let wash plastic dishes.

What can you do with a baby in one or two years: independent games

Let's make a reservation right away that the concept of "independent games" is rather relative, since in this age period the child cannot yet occupy himself. And it's not safe to leave such a little peanut alone.

However, no one bothers you to take your baby for a while to do household chores or take a break. What ideas will your child like?

  1. "Wonder Box" In a regular box, you need to add various trinkets and little things. The contents need to be updated regularly, and the box itself should not be kept in plain sight. Let her appearance be a surprise. Inside the “wonderful” box there can be parts from designers, small toys, bottles, vitamin packages, that is, everything that your imagination tells you. Be careful not to put small parts that the baby can swallow.
  2. Paper fun. Both at 12 months and at two years old, children are interested in paper products - they like to rustle paper, tear it into pieces, crush it and make balls out of it. The cheapest and safest option is to play with a toilet paper roll. But glossy magazines and newspapers should not be given. Newspaper pages get smudged with ink, and magazine gloss has sharp edges that can hurt little fingers.
  3. Clothes package. In a textile bag, put things from which the baby has already grown, or clothes that are out of season. Little fashionistas and fashionistas are usually carried away by such games with a wardrobe for 20-30 minutes. They like to stand in front of the mirror and try on things for themselves. By the way, in this way you can teach the crumbs to dress themselves.
  4. Water entertainment. Do not draw a lot of water into the basin, hand the crumbs a variety of rubber toys (ducks, cubs, boats), let him play. Many children enjoy the quite innocent fun of slapping their hands on the surface of the water and watching the splashes. However, you should not allow the baby to play in the bathroom without your supervision. It is better to lay an oilcloth in the room and put a bowl of water on it.
  5. Cartoons and educational presentations. Of course, it is better to watch cartoons with your child, but if you need to be distracted for 10-15 minutes, you can turn on a good animated film or an interesting presentation. However, this method should not be carried away, nothing can replace the crumbs of communication with adults and interaction with real objects.

Games for a 2 year old

Often situations that arise when communicating with a child confuse parents, even the most experienced mothers are sometimes at a loss. But, as a rule, there are no more than one or two children in a family, and Irina Vasilievna Mikhailik, a teacher of the highest category at the Nadiya nursery garden, has many more. And accordingly, situations arise many times more. How to take a two-year-old baby, Irina Vasilievna herself will advise.

"Don't tie him up!"
“We gave Sasha pencils and a sheet of paper. After a few seconds the paper< с >thrown to the floor in one uncertain line. Another moment, the child draws lines on the table, on the wall, and then the pencil flies after the paper. In the hands - already a car. Having rolled it around the room a little, the kid climbed onto the table, then onto the sofa to put his mother's hairpin into the socket. Then he proceeded to the kitchen to turn on everything he could get his hands on. Don't tie him up!" - the mother of the little fidget complains.

I would like to advise parents who have a 2-year-old child in the family to pay great attention to the comprehensive development of the baby. This includes regular morning exercises in a playful way (staging any poem familiar to the child), tempering procedures, and creating conditions for active motor activity.

In the family, care should be taken to ensure that all types of activity - communication, objective activity - play - become intellectual in their content. This means that during regime moments, an adult must constantly talk with the child, explain the incomprehensible, maintain interest in the environment.

Let's play fun!
I offer several game situations. In the hands of the child is a bucket with a hole at the bottom. He tries to bring the water to the sand in it, and, of course, he does not succeed. Perhaps, once again carrying water, he accidentally covers the hole with his finger and correlates cause and effect.

If he succeeds, then the baby has made one of his first discoveries. Put the toy on the hill (on the table) and remove the chairs. Have your child bring a car. Observe which exit the child will find to get the toy.

And here is another simple game - an activity that will teach a child to fix attention on the color properties of objects, form the simplest forms of identity and distinguish colors of homogeneous objects. Take colored sticks of two different colors (for example, 5 red and 5 blue). Mix all sticks. At the same time, say: "sticks of different colors." Then offer sticks of one color to put in a cup, and sticks of another color in a box. Show these steps first. So, showing and explaining, lay out 2 pairs of sticks. The rest offer to decompose the child himself. Among the many properties of objects, the attention of kids is attracted primarily by the form, and then by the size. In order to consolidate the ability to distinguish objects by size, you can periodically practice games in which the child has to deal with objects that are the same in shape but differ in size. These can be cubes, balls, rings, pyramids, boxes, juice and yogurt bottles of various sizes.

After the child learns the ability to operate with a spatula, a shovel, a wooden mallet, learns to use a bucket and molds in games, adults need to give these games a target character. For example, offer the baby to “bake” pies for the doll, build a “garage” for the car, clear the “road” of sand (of course, with the help of mom or dad). If an adult only watches the child's games from the side, they will very soon turn into random scattering of sand to the sides, or they may simply stop.

Pen Exercises
It is extremely important to pay attention to the development of hand movement, to teach how to reflect the phenomena of the surrounding reality, using a line, color. Encourage them to treat their drawing as the result of “work”. Here, the “co-creation” of father, mother and child is useful. The adult draws the base, and the kid draws the details. (“Rain drip-drip”, “Our legs walked along the path”, “Tie the ropes to the balls”, etc.) The drawing technique should be varied: stick, brush, finger, palm, various “seals”, using loose products (semolina, rice). Let your child experiment.

Need to talk a lot
In no case should you forget about speech exercises. It is the basis of a child's mental development. Support the child's desire to recognize in the picture and correctly name a familiar object, face, animal. It is useful to practice the game “Find out what is drawn”.

If the child finds it difficult to answer, you need to help him with leading questions, sound comments (“Ku-ka-re-ku”, “Moo”, “Bang”). At the age of two, a child can buy riddle books, the content of which has a clue (Who gets up early, “cook-re-ku” sings, does not let the children sleep”). When playing “riddles” with your baby, you can put large pictures or toys in front of him with the image of someone he needs to know.

Developing fantasy
A 2-year-old kid is a storehouse of word creation. Don't laugh or make fun of his funny words. Take them seriously. Get a notebook, write down his words, expressions. Constantly provoke him with questions: “What is this?”, “Who is this?”. Do not rush to immediately issue an adult name. If it’s difficult for a child or he doesn’t know at all, tell him (it rides, you can roll it, it beeps). And then by the age of 3-4, the child will be able to independently invent fairy tales, stories and even poems.

If you now take care of the comprehensive development of your child, exercising his perception, memory, thinking, then by the end of the third year of life, the baby will be active and inquisitive.

The child needs friends
It is very important that the child is surrounded by peers to whom you can “try on yourself”. The kid often makes mistakes, does stupid things, for which adults, of course, punish him, scold him. But, getting into the environment of one-year-olds, the child, observing their behavior, will make an amazing joyful discovery for himself: “And he is the same as me.” Communication in a group of equals gives them what they lack when communicating with adults: the ability to compare, take the initiative, defend their opinion, show concern for a friend. A child who manifests himself in the family as a capricious egoist, in kindergarten, with the right individual approach of the educator, will quickly change for the better. The teacher will be able to competently help the child (games, life situations, a positive example of peers).

In the children's team, elementary rules of behavior are instilled (share toys, help each other, sympathize, be grateful). These main qualities will help the child feel comfortable in any team.
