Knitting baby prints: methods, detailed descriptions, tips

Children's Czechs- shoes that are familiar to everyone, which children use in sporting events, at matinees and children's performances. However, everyone knows that Czechs do not differ in external beauty, and are made of a single-color material - black or white. If the child has a beautiful suit at the matinee, and Czechs They don’t match this costume at all, you can turn them into original and beautiful shoes by crocheting them.

Instructions

  1. You will need it yourself Czechs, suitable for the child in size, as well as thin yarn that matches the color of your costume, a hook, multi-colored beads, seed beads and bright sequins for decorating shoes. Select beads and sequins so that they are in harmony with the color of the yarn with which you will tie Czechs.
  2. Take a Czech, and using a thin awl or thick needle, mark a series of points at equal distances from each other. The points should be located 1 mm above the sole line. After making a series of holes, take a hook and make a loop at the tip of the knitting thread, the size of which is equal to the distance between the holes on the surface Czechs.
  3. Through the first hole of the row, pull the created loop with a crochet hook from the wrong side to the front side. Then pull the thread out of the next hole and use a hook to pull it through the loop you removed from the first hole.
  4. Continue making loops from each hole in this manner until you have a braid that resembles a chain braid, but is tied around the holes. Czechs. After the entire circumference Czechs- the entire row of holes you made will be tied with a pigtail, cut the thread and fasten it on the front side.
  5. Then take the hook again, and based on the created braid, tightly tie the hook with single crochets in a circle. Closer to the toe Czechs make decreases so that the knitting fits tightly to the shoes.
  6. Sew the upper edge of the knitted fabric to the bob with small stitches, and then take a thread and a needle and decorate the binding with beads, seed beads and sequins. Knit the second Czech in a similar way.

Therefore, I advise: do everything that you can do yourself, do not resort to the help of loved ones! An elderly person, a woman, must have a hobby, a passion, a constant activity that occupies her full attention. Reading, drawing, sewing, knitting. For example, I have been knitting all my life. Napkins, shawls, blouses, tablecloths. Both crocheted and knitted. I started knitting when I separated from my first husband. There was no alimony, three people had to be clothed and fed - mother, son and myself. When I was still the chief doctor in the village, I was given a German Singer sewing machine. So I sewed on it. I could only...

Dear Olga Khalilovna! Don't you remember me? Once upon a time (somewhere in 1958-59) you and I met. I wrote a book “Through the Years of the Twentieth Century,” in which I talked a little about my impressions when meeting with your family (you can look it up on the Internet by title). I congratulate you - you look, as always, wonderful. I also mop the floors by hand, play chess regularly and drive a car, because I am a hygienist after all. And I am very pleased that I, apparently, made some contribution to your son’s education, because he had to listen to the lectures on hygiene that I gave at our institute in those days.
All the best! Andrey Alexandrovich Velichko

cute mice

I also like to crochet, but, unfortunately, it’s not always possible to choose the right thread thickness and hook. Previously, I only knitted napkins, and it was easier. And the toys always turn out too hard and hard. I tried to loosen the binding, but to no avail (Can you advise something?

I felt like I needed to do more, and after some practice, I started making my own models and posting them on my blog (littlegreen.typepad.com/romansock). Learning to knit is not difficult, it is important to master the basic techniques. These patterns will be of interest to both beginners and experienced knitters. Even if you are not very good at knitting yet, you will quickly learn how to create super toys. I had great fun coming up with and bringing these models to life. I wish you also enjoy knitting. A useful hobby for a young mother is knitting.
...Having come a long way and raised a daughter, the main advice that I would give to young mothers is to find something you enjoy that would provide relief when you are tired and develop your imagination. Knitting has become such a joy for me. I started knitting a long time ago. As a teenager, I knitted scarves for my friends and made clothes for dolls. Having taken out the knitting needles after a long break, I was surprised to find that my skills were not lost! Of course, the first thing I did was start knitting fashionable blouses and socks for my baby. Every day Alina was dressed in a new suit, different from the previous one. I was calm: my child wore things made from natural materials. And besides, they are always connected right along it! I knitted each item with maternal tenderness, so soon my “knits...

Let's knit the next knitted blouse for Maksimka... With what pattern? Maksimka is very interested in cars. Then we’ll knit a car on our pocket! For another fall, I knitted a hat. But not just a hat, but in the shape of a cat. To be honest, I didn’t come up with the idea myself, but saw it in some magazine. But I connected it in my own way. The hat is knitted, and I embroidered parts of the face (eyes, nose, mouth, mustache). Maximka's horoscope sign is Leo. Therefore, on the next hat I decided to knit a lion cub. I got the pattern diagram from an embroidery magazine. Maksimka loves bears very much. From all fairy tales, from all cartoons. And he also calls himself a bear (Mikhailo Ivanovich, Kopatych). That's why I knitted him a bear costume for New Year. I talked a lot about...
...I took the pattern diagram from an embroidery magazine. Maksimka loves bears very much. From all fairy tales, from all cartoons. And he also calls himself a bear (Mikhailo Ivanovich, Kopatych). That's why I knitted him a bear costume for New Year. I talked a lot about the leftover yarn from knitting things for dad. So, in principle, there are no leftovers. They all go knitting for Maksimka. I knit blouses, socks, hats. Maksimka also has knitted toys. But for Maksimka I not only knit, but also sew: shirts, shorts, jackets. And for going out, and for kindergarten, and for home. I also sew for fun. For example, a rug with the head, paws, and tail of a cat (I also saw the idea somewhere and really wanted to try to do this). I sewed a rug...

How to grow a creative personality?
...Not only color is important in threads, you need them to be “not prickly”, but tender and soft, then wearing this sweater will be very pleasant, and it will become your favorite. Not only threads are needed to make a sweater. Need knitting needles. Here they are, the knitting needles I used to knit. You need to knit carefully, carefully, then it will come out beautifully. It is also important that the sweater fits correctly. “For many days I knitted this sweater for you, and I was happy, because I love you very much!” - I told my daughter. This was the very beginning. Then they began to discuss together what item to knit, what it should look like, and what was needed for it. The children observed the creative process itself. We saw how she blossomed in...

This is my nature: I learn about some type of needlework and want to master it! I searched for literature on the Internet, learned everything by trial and error, did one or two things using a new technique, and calmed down. So I mastered beadwork on a machine and without a machine, making trees from beads. I mastered two types of carpet techniques and crocheting. Moreover, at first I was interested in knitting clothes, then various cups, strollers and booties. By the way, my mother taught me to knit and sew as a child, so I am not disclosing these types of needlework here. And so for 7 years now I have been doing “everything at once”; I almost always have several types of products in my work... All my friends unanimously repeated: “You need a daughter so that you have someone to teach everything that you can do!” And now - a miracle with...

The next stage was my passion for knitting. Moreover, it came spontaneously: my husband and I were watching a movie, and during the break I saw an advertisement for a magazine dedicated to crocheting. And I realized - I want it! Although I have never held a crochet hook or knitting needles in my hands. But nothing is impossible! On my first weekend on a walk with our baby, I went into a bookstore and bought books on knitting. My husband laughed kindly and asked when I’ll be knitting again?! After all, as you know, with a small child there is not enough time for anything... But still there is time. "When?" - you ask. And I will answer: “Night...

And my little sister Ulyanka is already in 2nd grade, although she is only 7 years old. And the youngest member of our family is Vovochka, he is 1 year and 7 months old. In addition to our main responsibilities - work, school, home - we each have activities to our liking. Dad, for example, loves cars and motorcycles. He himself assembled a tractor, a pneumatic vehicle and a go-kart. Mom loves to knit and crochet, bake delicious buns, pies and cookies, and also write poetry. And the girls go to music school. Polina plays the piano, Arina plays the accordion, and Ulyana plays the violin and piano. We really love spending time together as a family. When we gather at home in the evenings, we hold a candle (we gather in a circle and talk about how everyone spent the day, passing a candle to each other). On the weekend, getting ready...

The history of the origin of the sweater, the mysterious ancient meaning of the patterns.
...The majority of the island was engaged in fishing and went to sea for several days. What were women to do? There were no nightclubs and spas before, and televisions had not yet been invented. Having completed all the household chores, the lovely ladies whiled away the evenings with a friendly conversation, and so that their hands would not be idle, they did knitting. And they did not use knitting needles, but bird feathers. Romantic, isn't it? Surprisingly, men taught their wives to use their free time this way, profitably and with pleasure. This means that men can confidently be called “pioneers” in knitting. To knit the sweater, raw sheep wool was used. And as it is, that’s how it was used. That is, they didn’t paint it, so...

At first I also thought that the classes were for old ladies.
Then I realized that no)
And it became even more interesting when people began to notice the results of my handicrafts:) an embroidered stand, a woman for a teapot, and so on. Studied at Leonard, at master classes [link-1]

It's a little easier at my house. I put all the purchased yarn, as well as the “lanky” ones, into large thick bags and tie them, and put the bags in a large bag located behind the sofa and covered with a curtain. A large paper box stores already knitted pieces with yarn for the current knitting, as well as knitting needles, a tape measure and magazines with online knitting printouts (which I need now). My family respects my knitting and helps me unravel and wind the balls (when I knit something). And the cat loves to play with balls

There's no time for embroidery here. Okay, I'll take the knitting needles. I will knit under the dim light of the TV by touch. It’s good that I already have a lot of knitting experience, and I can knit without looking. While I was watching the “news” and quietly knitting, my daughter calmed down. We must go and see the results of the twilight dances. Well, I knew it, the diaper was lying on the floor, the pajama pants, turned inside out, were hanging on the side of the crib, the blanket was crumpled, and it was difficult to find a pillow. Where's the child? And here she is! She huddled in a corner, hugging a pillow and exposing her naked...

Wonderfully written. I also knit and embroider a lot, usually at night and at music school while I’m waiting for my son. But there is also a computer, and so many “boasts” on the site. I want to do everything immediately. A lot of positive!

I felt, to put it mildly, a complete idiot - was it worth upsetting the woman I loved so much because of some pretentious gifts? As a result of much thought, knitting moved to my desk drawer in the office. There were no signs of trouble. I sat in my office, calmly conducted important negotiations on the phone, and in order not to waste time, at the same time, tapping my knitting needles, knitting the ill-fated bag. I don’t know where my vigilant secretary went or how my deputy broke through her defenses... But I will never forget his facial expression when he appeared on the threshold of my office. And I saw myself from the outside through his eyes: sitting behind a large desk is a serious business man in the prime of his life, dressed in a suit and tie (after all...

I was four years old then, and since then I have learned a lot: spinning and knitting, sewing and embroidery, largely thanks to my grandmother, who gave the little mouse knitting needles and patiently explained what was done and how. In the village there is always a lot of other work and there is no time to rest, but I remember my grandmother, who was doing something every minute: in the field, when the cows were peacefully chewing the grass, a ball and a hook would be taken out of my pocket and napkins, stitches, valances would be made; in winter, when the cattle were tidied up, they sat down at the table and the grandmother knitted blouses, mittens or spun. All this beauty is...

I really liked the article. I have been knitting myself since I was 7 years old, my grandmother also taught me. It started with a scarf knitted with my own hands. But there was pride! When we started living with my husband, he was picky in terms of clothes, although now there is a lot of everything on the market and in stores, he doesn’t like it to be like everyone else, we were looking for sweaters for him, I told him, let’s knit it, at first he didn’t want to, then when he I was knitting something for myself and my child before my eyes, and he started asking me to knit it. Now he doesn’t even look at purchased things.

Here some people write where your head was, what you thought about, everything according to merit. It’s good if you have the help of your parents. When there are no parents, you want to create a family, feel love and care, be complete and believe in love and in the man you have chosen. How the rule is that ogi initially do not show their real face. My husband took me as his wife, he sold my parents’ house after the death of my parents and wanted to open a business. Everything went bankrupt and after that I saw the real him. We left for his country, he protected me from everyone. I got caught to hell! There was a father-in-law who simply mocked me and it was like this for 5 years until the father-in-law died. I have a son now he is 6 years old. I live in a foreign country illegally, my husband said there is no money to extend your visa. That’s how it is I live. Total control. I don’t know what to do, where to run away. It seems that a girl with a similar fate appeared in life. We planned to save money and leave together for another shit, she also has children, her husband is in prison. I thought it wouldn’t be so bad together, it’s easier to work and there will always be someone to look after the children. But her husband came out and took her. She returned to her family where her husband was imprisoned for beating his wife to death and she returned to this man. My husband doesn’t drink, doesn’t party. But he’s morally kills self-esteem, morally humiliates, it hurts more than physical pain. Girls, it’s scary to live like this when they program you, roughly speaking. I’m 26, a former manicurist, since he doesn’t allow me to work, I can only go to the store. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink. I don’t know about What kind of life trials do I face, in other words, for what kind of merits? I have no true girlfriends, the only thing that helps me not to go crazy is access to the Internet, the opportunity to learn languages and take up sports. I’m sitting in a kind of waiting mode. To escape

The article is kind of gloomy, and the ending is fantastic.
Well, they got married unsuccessfully, but they give birth to a child already under certain conditions - housing, work,
close people who will help if anything happens.
And then they went out into the deep end, gave birth because they wanted to, or I loved alone.
It seems like everything is the man's fault.
Where were the parents to give wise advice,
Where were your eyes and ears when you got married, etc., etc.
You yourself made the choice to get married, and you also decided to have children,
This means that the responsibility lies with you, and with him, and with the parents, who by their example do not
showed what family relationships should be like.
This is what you need to draw conclusions, admit your mistakes, and raise your children correctly,
I agree.
And I don’t believe in waiting for the prince to appear on a white horse again, and everything will be fine and happiness.
To each according to his merits, to each one to whom you yourself once said “yes”.
Be patient, girls. With intelligence, work, and patience you can solve the most insoluble problems,
The main thing is not to give up.

How to tie a lace

on knitting needles
Cast on 50 (100, 150, in general, as needed for the required length of the lace) loops and knit 2 (3.4) rows in stockinette stitch. Close the hinges. The strip will twist itself into a lace. The lace is soft and flexible.
You just need to cast on and cast on using larger needles.
You can also knit the cord crosswise.
You need to take short stocking needles. Cast on loops to the width of the cord and knit in stockinette stitch without edge loops to the length you need.

Crochet lace
The easiest way is to knit a chain of air loops. Such laces are very well made from thick yarn or multi-colored threads in several folds.
You can knit a chain and knit a row of double crochets. It turns out to be a ribbon.

A decorative, very beautiful lace can be made if you take several multi-colored threads (three or more) and tie the ends in a knot. Knit an air loop from the first thread, pull a second thread through it, then a third, and so on, alternating the threads in order. The entire lace is knitted with air loops, nothing complicated, but in appearance it will differ from the crocheted lace.

Laces are an indispensable thing in everyday life. They can become both a handy tool for packaging and an elegant accessory for clothing. Knitting laces is the easiest thing in the world, but there are some subtleties here too: threads, knitting needles, hook
Crocheted lace is similar to store-bought ones and looks more impressive.

How to knit men's hats

Knit the sample with facial stitches. The knitting density should be 20 loops per 10 cm.

Cast on 96 stitches. Close the work in a circle. Pull the beacon thread so you can see the beginning of the row. Knit 6 cm with an elastic band 2*2.

To decrease the work, divide the total number of loops by 4. Knit 2 loops together and pull through the third at the dividing line. Through the last 8 loops, pull the thread in a circle as you knit. Tighten and secure the end of the thread from the inside.

How to crochet napkins

The napkin will consist of a small and large circle of rings connected by picot strips and single crochets.

For the center, knit a chain of 18 chain stitches, close them in a circle with half-stitches and tie them with 26 single crochets.

Continue knitting with a strip of 4 picots and single crochets. Each picot consists of a chain of 5 chain stitches and a single crochet, securing the picot in the 1st loop. Without removing the working loop from the index finger, make 6 wraps around it with this thread and a half-column from the beginning of the 7th wrap. Remove the resulting ring from your finger and tie it with 30 single crochets.

Work a second strip of picots and single crochets, using them to pierce the single crochets of the parallel strip to secure it together.

Skip 1 loop of the center circle chain and attach the strip with a single crochet to the 2nd loop.

When tying the second and subsequent rings, attach every seventh single crochet to the previously knitted ring. To do this, slightly pull out the 7th loop of the single crochet of the working ring, drop it from the hook, pierce the same loop of the previous ring and pull the dropped loop through it. Continue tying the working ring.

The small circle should make 13 rings and 13 stripes of picots and single crochets.

Large circle knitting.
Fasten the working thread to the 14th loop of one of the small circle rings. Knit 26 rings and strips of 5 picots and single crochets in the same way as in the small circle. Attach them to the small circle using the 17th single crochet stitch. Fasten 13 of the 16 picot strips with parallel picots along the top 3 single crochets.

Crochet the ends on the wrong side.

The ability to crochet makes it possible to create amazingly beautiful things. Napkins made from knitted rings will become a real table decoration. Hook No. 3

How to knit mittens

Cast on 32 stitches, distribute them onto 4 needles and knit in the round with a 2x2 rib. Then continue with stockinette stitch or pattern. The loops on the 1st and 2nd knitting needles are the palm, the loops on the 3rd and 4th knitting needles are the back side.

For the thumb wedge, use another thread to mark the 4th and 7th stitches on the palm. In the next round, after the 1st marked loop and before the 2nd, knit one crossed knit stitch from the transverse thread. Additions are made in every 3 circles, and then another 3 circles without adding. After this, transfer the wedge loops to the pin and leave them open. Above them, for the jumper, cast on 2 loops again and continue knitting in the round. Knit to the desired height.

To finish the glove, knit it like this: on the palm and back side, knit the 2nd and 3rd loops together, and knit the penultimate 2nd and 3rd loops with a broach.
Decrements are repeated until 4 loops remain. They need to be tightened with a working thread and secured from the inside out.

For the thumb, cast on 2 stitches from the jumper. Distribute all wedge loops onto 3 knitting needles and knit in the round to the desired height.
For the fingertip, knit together the last two stitches on each needle until there are 3 stitches left. They are pulled together with a working thread and secured on the wrong side. Knit the left mitten in mirror image.

The second mitten is knitted in a mirror image.

There is nothing warmer and more pleasant in cold winter than mittens knitted with your own hands. A simple knitting pattern suitable for beginners and experienced needlewomen. 200g yarn, set of double needles (5 pieces)

How to knit socks

Start knitting socks from the cuff. To do this, cast on the knitting needles a number of loops that is a multiple of four and distribute them equally across four knitting needles. For example, for size 38, cast on 45 stitches, in which case there will be 11 stitches on each needle. Close the knitting in a circle, knit the first and last loops together. Knit the entire cuff in the round using a 1x1 or 2x2 rib. At a height of 8 cm, knit 2 cm with knit stitches.

Now start knitting the heel. Transfer the stitches of the first and fourth needles onto one needle. Knit the heel wall, knitting straight and reverse rows. At a height of 4.5 cm, divide all the loops that are in use into three parts (7+9+6). On the next knit row, knit 7 side heel stitches and 8 bottom heel stitches, and knit the last loop together with the first loop of the third heel piece and unfold the knitting.

Slip the first stitch of the bottom heel so that the thread is in front of the work, i.e. wrong side, and purl all stitches. Knit the last loop of the middle (lower) part of the heel together with the first loop of the side part of the heel. Expand the work. Knit the heel with a decrease until only the loops of the middle (lower) part of the heel remain on the working knitting needle.

Next, continue knitting in the round. To do this, cast on loops along the edges of the heel wall, piercing the side loop with a knitting needle, and, picking up the thread, pull it to the front side, and knit the loops that remained on the knitting needle. On the next row, start decreasing stitches. To do this, in each row, knit together the last loop of the first knitting needle and the first loop of the second knitting needle, just swap the first and second loops so that the second one is in front of the work. Decrease on the third and fourth needles in the same way. Repeat the decrease in five circular rows.

After 15 cm from the heel wall, begin to decrease the loops to form the toe. Check that all needles have an equal number of stitches. To decrease, knit the second and third stitches together from the end on the first and third needles; the second and third loops are on the second and fourth knitting needles together. Repeat decreasing rows until there are 2 stitches left on each needle. Pull the thread through all the remaining loops and secure the end to the inside of the sock.

The process of knitting socks, according to even experienced knitters, is difficult, but in reality it is not. Having mastered the basic skills, knitting socks is quite simple, the main thing is to have desire and patience. - yarn;
- set of 5 double needles.

How to knit "crawfish step"

There are many ways to knit a crab step; let’s look at the two most popular ones.
The first method requires the use of single crochets. The hook is inserted into the loop, grabs the working thread and pulls it through so that we have two loops on the hook. These loops are knitted from the working thread. Then the procedure is repeated, and we get a beautiful crawfish-step binding.

Now the second method. A lush column is used here. The hook is inserted under the loop, grabs and pulls the working thread, making it a little longer than in method number one. Yarn over is made.

A hook is inserted into the same loop and a loop is pulled out (the first loop is not counted in the future). Let's see what we get on the hook - two loops and a yarn over between them. The larger the volume of the binding, the more loops you can use along with the yarn over (five, seven or more). The numbers must be odd. All resulting loops are knitted from the working thread in one step and secured with a tight air loop (optional).
The distance between the points through which the hook is inserted into the product depends on the size of our lush columns. You can knit through 1-3 loops of the final row of the product.

To begin with, let’s define what a crayfish step is. This is one of many trim elements that are knitted backwards (from left to right) along the right side of the product.

The finishing thread can be attached to the product, or you can continue tying with the main thread. This can be done as follows: the hook is inserted into the last loop in the row. Then the loop is pulled out and a lifting loop or air loop, as it is also called, is knitted. We do everything so that there is a short end of the thread between the lifting thread and the working thread.

Young children often have cold feet; knitted footwear can save the situation. If you like to knit, you can do it yourself. The tracks are knitted on both two and four knitting needles.

A simple way to knit footwear

Homemade slippers are an original replacement for slippers and are also convenient to take with you when you go on a visit. And your child will always have warm feet.

Description

These tracks are knitted on two needles, size 3 or 4. Having cast 36 loops on the needles, during the knitting process we divide them into three parts. To do this, we knit 12 loops in knit stitch, after which we make one loop in purl stitch. Next, 10 knit stitches, one purl stitch and again 12 knit stitches. Thus, we knit approximately 15 centimeters. After which we move on to knitting with an elastic band. The elastic is knitted in one loop on the front, the other on the back.

Completion

Having knitted 10 cm with an elastic band, we cut the loops in half, the next row remains unchanged. In the front row we decrease again, knitting every two loops into one. Then we close the work by passing the thread through the loops and tightening.

Using the remaining end of the thread we sew the toe of the children's footprint. We also sew the heel. Here we have a very simple knitted baby sock.

Such children's footprints can be knitted in different patterns, both striped and checkered, and after looking at our website, you will find many, many more ideas that you can easily turn into reality.

Children's shoes - soles, with four embossed stripes

Such tracks are more for girls than for boys. They are very convenient for practicing ballet in a large hall. And it will be an exclusive copy, because it is associated with you personally.

Children's Czech footwear

Materials

For such elegant Czech shoes you will need 50 grams. light wool yarn (250 meters per 100 grams). Knitting is done with knitting needles, which means you will need knitting needles, set number 3, a hook and a tape measure. You need to measure the child's foot with a centimeter. Heel height, length from little toe to heel, girth (choose the widest place).

Patterns

Main: The main pattern consists of a stockinette stitch - this is when the front rows are knitted with facial loops. The purl ones are knitted purlwise. If knitting is circular, then all stitches are knit.

Relief: The relief pattern consists of alternating one back row with two front rows.

Knitted colored footwear

Heel

We begin to knit the heel on two knitting needles. According to average calculations, the heel consists of 8 middle loops and 6 side loops. There are 20 loops in total. Using stockinette stitch we knit the height of the heel (approximately 11 rows). When knitting the 12th row, we begin to form the heel by knitting 6 side loops and 7 middle ones, hook the 8th and one side loop and tie them together. Having not finished knitting, we turn the work over and knit in the opposite direction, removing the first loop from the knitting needle to the knitting needle. We knit the front side the same way, we knit the last center loop with the side loop. Thus, we knit until all the side loops are closed (you can find a more detailed description and heel knitting patterns on our website).

Trace and base

For the remaining 8 loops from the side edge rows we cast on 7 loops on each side. You should get 22 loops, knit 17 rows in stockinette stitch, after which we cast on about 8 air loops. We close all the rows in a circle, taking additional knitting needles. We knit two circles in stockinette stitch and begin to make relief stripes. We knit 8 loops with purl loops, in the place where we picked up the air loops. We knit the same stripes in every 3rd row until there are 4 of them.

Launch of a knitted track

When the trail is the right size, we begin to launch. A sock is formed on two knitting needles. We knit the first and last side loops in two pieces, we knit until there is only one loop left on the knitting needles, we knit them together, we hide the tip inside the finished trace.

Decor

For beauty and grace, we crochet the top of the baby's footprint; if desired, you can take a thread of a different color. Since the leopard is knitted for children, you can use your imagination and decorate the finished creation with knitted flowers.

Warm footprints

Preparation:

First of all, measure the child’s leg and multiply by 2. Cast on a sample of about 20 loops on the knitting needles and measure with a ruler and, if necessary, add as much size as needed. If you knit with thick threads, then on average there are 32 loops for the leg of a three-year-old boy.

Pink warm footprints

Knitting process

Take two knitting needles and cast on an even number of stitches, the outer stitches being edge stitches.

We knit the 1st row with an elastic band, alternating the purl and knit stitches 1x1.

2nd row. From the total amount of loops we subtract 4, divide the resulting result by 2. In our example it will be 32-4 = 28, 28: 2 = 14. And so, we knit 14 loops with an elastic band, as in the first row, and make a yarn over. After the yarn over, knit stitch and yarn over again, then two knit stitches and a yarn over, knit stitch and yarn over. We knit the 14 loops that remain in the same way as the first row.

We knit the 3rd row according to the resulting pattern, knit 9 middle loops (which were thrown over and knitted with knit stitches) with purl loops.

Row 4 we knit 14 loops with an elastic band, 3 new knit stitches and yarn over, 2 knit stitches (they will be center loops), after them we yarn over again, 3 knit stitches and finish with an elastic band.

5 row. 14 rib, middle all purl and 14 rib.

6th row. We knit identically to row 4, adding loops on both sides of the center rows.

Row 7 is the same as row 5.

The 8th row is similar to the front 6th row.

Row 9 is like 7th.

Row 10 is like row 8.

Row 11 is like row 9.

There are holes where the yarn overs were made.

Further stage

We knit the next three rows 12, 13, 14 with facial loops.

15 row. We divide the resulting loops in half; in our example, these are 44 loops; dividing, we get 22 loops. Having knitted 22 knit stitches on the knitting needles, knit 2 more loops and knit the next 2 together. Turning your knitting over, we knit further.

16th row. 4 knit stitches and 5-6 stitches together. Turn it over.

Row 17 is identical to row 16. 4 knit stitches, 5th, 6th together.

When there are 5 loops left on the knitting needles, you need to close the heel. We knit 4 knit stitches and pick up a loop from the side of the heel, knitting it together with the heel. Having turned the work over, we continue in the same way. Having tied it to the end, we hide the thread and now the children's footprints are ready.

In my Soviet childhood, with a total shortage of consumer goods, children's Czech shoes could be bought at any department store. They were on the shelves all year round, and going to the store to buy Czechs was like going to a bakery to buy bread.

But, despite the fact that every Soviet child had at his disposal a pair, or even two, of high-quality leather Czechs, my Czechs were a source of secret pride. And do you know why? Yes, because they were Czech women, knitted by my friend’s grandmother personally for me!

I still remember how delighted these warm, soft woolen shoes with four embossed stripes on the toes were. No one had anything like that. And I had!

Time goes fast. And now my youngest daughter has grown to kindergarten age. And she needed Czech shoes for music lessons.

Despite the fact that no one remembers the shortage of clothes and shoes for a long time, there were no suitable Czech shoes in the store. Therefore, I decided to knit children's slippers myself using knitting needles in the same way as I usually knit homemade slippers.

Knitting baby footprints with knitting needles

Materials and tools for knitting children's slippers:

  • 50 g of thick milky yarn (100% wool, 250 m per 100 g);
  • set of toe knitting needles No. 3;
  • hook;
  • centimeter

Basic pattern: knit stitch (knit rows - knit, purl rows - purl stitches; when knitting in the round - knit all stitches)

Relief pattern (alternating one row of purl stitches and two rows of knit stitches)

I take foot measurements. I measure:

  • - heel height;
  • - length of the foot from the heel to the tip of the little toe;
  • - circumference of the foot at its widest point.

I start knitting baby footprints by knitting the heel, the same as in regular socks.

How to knit the heel of a sock, sock, Czech

1. On two knitting needles I cast on 20 loops at the rate of 8 loops for the middle of the heel and 6 loops for the sides of the heel.

2. I knit 11 rows in stockinette stitch (heel height).

I divide the loops into 3 parts (side – 6 loops, central – 8). In the 12th purl row I start decreasing the stitches to form the heel of the heel.

3. I knit the first two parts of the heel loops (6 side and 7 central loops). I knit the 8th central loop and the adjacent 1st side loop together purlwise.

4. Without knitting to the end of the row, I turn the work to the front side and remove the first loop without knitting.

5. I knit the loops of the central part of the heel. At the same time, I knit the last of them and the first loop of the side part adjacent to it together with the front one.

6. I turn the knitting again, not reaching the end of the row, and remove the first loop without knitting.

7. I knit the loops of the central part of the heel. I purl the last central loop and the 1st side loop adjacent to it.

9. From the edge loops on the side of the heel I cast on 7 loops on one side

and on the other

Note! When casting on loops, the working thread should be on the wrong side of the knitted heel of the heel, and the loops should be pulled to the front side.

This brings the total number of stitches on the needles to 22 and I continue knitting in stockinette stitch.

10. In the 17th row from the elastic, I cast on 8 chain stitches on an additional knitting needle and close the knitting in a circle.

11. I knit 2 rows in the round using stockinette stitch.

12. Since I decided to knit an exact copy of Grandma Nyura’s Czech shoes for my daughter, it’s time to make raised stripes on the toe of the knitted footwear. To do this, in the 3rd row from the cast-on chain stitches, I knit 8 stitches in the center of the trail instead of knit stitches with purl stitches.

14. Having knitted the last row of the relief pattern, I knit 4 more rows in stockinette stitch.

At this stage of work, the length of the footprint should be equal to the distance from the heel to the tip of the child’s little finger. If necessary, increase or decrease the number of knitted rows depending on the size of the baby's foot.

Reducing the loops of a knitted track

15. To form the toe of the heel, I decrease the loops, knitting:

  • - on the first knitting needle - 2 first loops together with the front one;

  • - on the second knitting needle - the last 2 loops together with the front one;

  • - on the third knitting needle - as on the first;
  • - on the fourth knitting needle - as on the second.

16. I decrease the loops in each row in this way until one loop remains on the knitting needles. I transfer the loops to two knitting needles and knit them 2 together. I also knit the remaining 2 stitches together.

17. I close the remaining loop. I pull the working thread onto the wrong side of the trace and secure it.

18. I crochet the edges of the trail with two rows of single crochets, picking up loops from the edge loops.

What happens immediately after the first Czech is tied? Of course, fitting!

I knit the second baby track in the same way as the first.

These are the children's Czech shoes I got.

If you want to make your knitted shoes more elegant, for example, for a matinee or performance on stage, you can decorate them with a crocheted flower or a flower made from ribbons using the kanzashi technique.

And since children's footprints are knitted very simply and quickly, after the knitted shoes for kindergarten, soft homemade slippers made of acrylic yarn were immediately born.

And now our little dancer can demonstrate her ballet steps at home.
