How to crochet beads. How to crochet beads. Auxiliary and visual video

How to crochet a bead quickly and efficiently, and why do it at all? Knitted beads, or rather, tied beads, are an original and very beautiful element that can serve as a material for creating designer jewelry. You can crochet a bead with yarn, and it is quite possible for beginner needlewomen to do it.

In addition, a fairly popular use of this needlework is to use it as the so-called slingo bus. Sling, perhaps, is exactly the product that provides maximum closeness of mother and child, while leaving the woman's hands free. From this proximity inevitably follows the child's ardent interest in mother's hair, earrings and other jewelry. Jewelry made of beads tied with yarn will be an excellent, and most importantly, safe alternative for the entertainment of the child and his development.

How to crochet a bead in a step-by-step master class for beginners

Absolutely any beads, even the most shabby and unsightly, are suitable as a starting material for such needlework. The main requirement for the base is its correct round shape, without dents or chips. As for the yarn, it all depends on how you will use the tied beads. If needlework is intended for a child, then it is best to focus on natural threads, with a little addition of synthetics. The following types of yarn are suitable for such knitting: cotton, linen, mohair, microfiber, polyamide, wool. The main tool for such knitting is a very small hook - 0.9 cm.

A few tips for those who already confidently hold the hook in their hands, but are faced with tying beads for the first time.

  • The knitting itself should be tight and dense, otherwise, the bead itself will be visible between the threads, and the contrast between the threads and the warp can be depressing.
  • The optimal yarn thickness is 400 m per 100 grams.
  • The pattern and counting of loops in this knitting is mandatory, otherwise you risk getting beads of different colors, and the overall appearance of the product will be far from ideal.
  • If the purpose of creating such elements is sling beads, then only beads made of natural wood, not painted or varnished, should be used as a base. Yarn, in turn, must be natural and tested for "molting". it is best to collect such beads on a tape, since any thread will break sooner or later from constant moisture and tension.
knitting process.

A small master class, after studying which you can make original jewelry yourself. There are no clear instructions as such, there are general principles that can guide any bead. The number of columns and rows directly depends on the thickness of the yarn you have chosen, as well as on the size of the base bead. Knitting is carried out with air loops, single crochets and lifting air loops. The process is described in more detail below.

For work were used:

  • beads with a diameter of 2.5 cm
  • hook number 0.9
  • microfiber yarn (250m, 50g)

First step. The first row is a ring of three lifting air loops, the second row is a lifting air loop, six single crochet stitches, and a connecting stitch. The third row is an air lifting loop, in each loop of the previous row you need to knit two loops without a crochet, and finish it all with a connecting column.

Second step. Fourth row. Air lifting loop, 1 single crochet, 2 single crochet with a common base, and so on until the end of the row, finish with a connecting column. Every second column is doubled. Fifth row - air lifting loop, one single crochet, another single crochet, two single crochets with a common base, repeat to the end of the row, connecting column. Double every third single crochet (for a total of 27 single crochets).

Third step. In the resulting flat circle, you can put, try on a bead.

Circular knitting without air loops of lifting, one single crochet, knit the second and third single crochet together, repeat to the end of the row.

The final touches are to knit together the first second single crochet, repeat until the fabric is reduced to one loop. Cut the thread and tuck it into the fabric very tightly so that nothing blooms.

Tied beads look very impressive, but such beads, tied in different colors, look even more original.

One of the simplest options that allows you to get a colorful and spectacular result without much effort is to use the so-called "ombre" or "gradient" yarn. This is a single skein of yarn in which the color changes from a lighter to a darker shade.

Such yarn is not uncommon, and greatly facilitates the effort. Other options are illustrated in the tutorial video below.

Dear needlewomen! The step-by-step master class, which we bring to your attention today, contains a detailed crochet bead tying pattern. This technique allows you to create unique jewelry elements that cannot be found in any store.

Tools and materials Time: 10 minutes Difficulty: 2/10

  • hook;
  • threads (it is better to use natural cotton, as it keeps its shape well):
  • wooden bead of any diameter.

Step-by-step instruction

To tie a bead with a hook and ordinary threads, you will not need much time. A step-by-step master class will make the work clear, and ready-made beads can be used as a bright element of jewelry in combination with other materials.

A few words about how to choose a hook for work, and for this you first need to decide on the threads. As a rule, on the packaging of each skein there are instructions on the recommended size of the knitting needles and hook for working with this particular thread. Therefore, pay attention to the yarn that you buy.

For the first experience, it is better not to take small beads and a thin thread. When you understand the principle, you can already start experimenting with sizes.

Step 1: cast on loops

It all starts with a set of loops for the first center circle. It is not formed with the help of air loops (as is usually the case), but is recruited immediately with single crochets. With such columns, the product is knitted completely.

For the initial set of loops, we fold the end of the thread into two three additions. Then we begin to tie this twist with single crochets, using the thread as a base. In total, we need 6 such columns for the circle, after which we connect them into a circle with a connecting loop (there may be more initial loops, the number depends on the diameter of the bead and the thickness of the thread itself, the main thing is that there is not too large a hole in the center of the circle).

Step 2: form the columns

Next, we begin to form columns row by row, making even additions so that you end up with a small pancake. When the diameter of the pancake is slightly smaller than the diameter of the bead, you can stop making reductions. We will knit several rows without increments, and you will see how the shape of the pancake begins to round off.

We knit like this until about the middle of the bead (we periodically try it on for our harness, so as not to make a mistake with the size).

Step 3: make the cuts

After half the ball is ready, you can form rows with uniform decreases. how to do this is shown in great detail on a step-by-step crochet pattern for tying beads.

When the bead is completely hidden in the rows of strapping, we form a knot, but we do not cut the thread yet. Leave a fairly long tail. We stretch it through the hole of the bead, where we once again form knots. After that, the thread can be cut completely.

Hi all. Today I will show how to crochet a bead. Such beads can be used in jewelry - beads, bracelets, in various decor. MK I'll show how to tie a bead tightly.

So, for this we need: yarn (preferably thinner than “iris”), bead (preferably with a diameter of 15 millimeters or more, because they are easier to tie. If the bead is even larger in diameter, then you can use “iris”), hook No. 1.

Armed - we begin to knit. knit in the round in a spiral. We make a ring and tie it with 6 double crochets. the row is not washed with a connecting column, but we immediately knit two more double crochets in the first column - this is the second row. In it you need to double each loop = 12 loops. In the next row, double the loops through one to get 18. In the next 24 and 30.

It turns out here is such a bottom. The number of rows depends on the diameter of the bead and the thickness of your yarn. That is, the diameter of the bottom should be approximately equal to the diameter of the bead. When we have achieved this, we begin to knit further single crochets, but without additions.

It turns out here is such a hat. We insert our bead into it.

And then we begin to tie very carefully, decreasing the rows and not removing the bead. First, we decrease six loops in each row (the same as we added), that is, we knit two double crochets together = minus one loop.

We knit so decreasing to the end, until the bead closes.

Cut the thread and carefully hide it. The bead is ready! You can make striped beads, just change the colors of the yarn during knitting. You can take already colored (melange) yarn and tie a bead to it.

Let's be patient and move on! Crochet a bead- very painstaking work, but the result is worth it. good luck with your art!

We tie a bead with a hook. Openwork option.

For tying, we need thin yarn (the thinner - the better), hook No. 1, bead.

First, we make a ring and knit single crochets into it. The number of columns depends on the size of your bead. I have 12 double crochets. We do not close the row with a connecting column, but immediately begin to knit arches of 3 air loops, attaching from a double crochet to each column of the previous row. Once again, the number of arches and columns depends on the size of your bead

.

Put a bead in the resulting hat and continue to knit arches further.

Master class: How to crochet a bead.

Yarn: optional. I use Iris or Narcissus.
"Iris" is a thinner yarn than "Narcissus", so they knit longer.

Hook: selected according to the yarn. I have number 1.5.

Bead: wooden or plastic. I have a plastic bead with a diameter of 2 cm.

Fold a ring of thread.
1 row: in the middle of the ring, knit 6 single crochets.

Pull off the ring by pulling on the non-working end of the thread.

Next, knit in a spiral, i.e. without connecting loops and without lifting loops.

2 row: in each column, knit 2 single crochet

3 row: in every second column 2 single crochet
(in one arch - 1 single crochet, in the second - 2 single crochet).

4 row: in every third column, 2 single crochet.

Trying on a ball.
The diameter of the connected circle should be a couple of mm larger than the diameter of the ball.

If the diameter of the circle is sufficient, then we begin to knit rows without increments,
those. in one arch we knit 1 single crochet.

(If the diameter of the circle is insufficient, then we continue to knit according to the pattern of 4 rows
until we get the required diameter.)

Let's try a ball.
If the cup for the ball is sufficient, insert the ball and begin to decrease the loops.

We knit through one column.
Those. in one arch we knit a single crochet, * we skip the next arch,
in one arch - 1 single crochet, in the next one arch - 1 single crochet *.
Repeat from * to *.

When the ball is completely tied, we stretch the thread into the last loop and tighten.

We hide the ends of the threads inside the ball.

The bead is ready!

It often happens that you can’t pick up jewelry for a new outfit. The thought arises: “Why not make such an ornament with your own hands?”. You start walking around handicraft shops and looking for beads and accessories of the required color. I very often face such a situation that I can’t pick up the beads of the required color. This is where beads tied with yarn can help out. The color assortment of only "Irisa" is very large and you can always pick up the yarn of the desired color. But for tying beads, you can use other yarn: with the addition of lurex, shaped with knots, sectional dyeing, "grass", etc. You can create melange compositions of the desired color yourself by connecting two threads of a different color or shade.

Examples of where you can use a bead tied with yarn:
Bracelets:
"Spring"
"The sea worries once..."
"Tenderness"

Crochet beads are very often used by needlewomen when making jewelry. We will learn how to knit such beads right now.

Summer has already left us with less than 20% of its time. This means that you need to have time to fully enjoy and absorb its warmth, colors, mood and the possibilities that it brings with it. So warm and sunny greetings to all! And let's all go to the beach. Have you already been to the sea this summer? Personally, I don't. Well, maybe then not on the sea, but on a river or a lake? On the pond, after all!

In general, if you haven’t been anywhere yet, but you really want to, then urgently, right now we’re finishing it, no, we’re dropping everything (you’ll never redo it anyway) and running with your family somewhere to the water and to the water-solar baths. I'm on my way. And you? Are you not? It's a pity. Well then, while I'm swimming, here's a new master class for you. Crochet beads. Tie a few pieces, and then I'll come, check and decide what to do with them.

So, our task for today is to learn how to crochet beads, and a little further (in one of the following master classes) we will create beautiful beauty from these beads. Until I tell you which one is a secret (in fact, I just haven’t come up with it yet).

I will also share with you today how you can dye yarn in the color you need at home. And in conclusion, I will tell you a little about what this summer has brought to me and my family. Rather, not even to me personally, but to my husband. No matter what, we are a family. So we have everything in common. And so this also applies to me. But more on that below. Now let's discuss how to tie beads.

Crochet beads. Description and video

In order to crochet beads, we need:

  • beads
  • hook
  • yarn

So, we have prepared everything necessary. Let's get to work. I will knit today from a beautiful milky blue yarn with the addition of a bright turquoise lurex thread, since the product to which this decoration is knitted has a deep blue color. A little later, I will add some contrasting or intermediate color to it for more expressiveness. But it's not today.

First, let's decide on the choice of hook number. What two ways you can do this was discussed in detail in this article about the rules of knitting. Since I have a fairly thick (compared to a sundress) yarn, I took a two and was not mistaken. In this case, the size really matters, since it will have to be knitted quite tightly and the knitting should wrap around our bead very tightly, without extra holes. So that in the end the strapping on it looked neat and even.

The first thing we do is fix the free end of the thread in the palm of our hand with our thumb, throw the working end twice through the index and middle fingers and remove the resulting ring. The result is such a loop, with which we will begin work.

Holding the ring at the intersection of the working thread and its free end with the index and thumb of the left hand, we pierce our ring with a hook in the right hand and change its position. Those. we introduce the hook and with the index finger of the right hand we press from above the place where the free end of the thread and the working thread itself intersect.

Now all the most important and necessary for further crocheting of beads is in our strong and confident right hand. Let's release the left hand. Let him rest.

I'm kidding, of course. It's too early to rest. With our left hand, we pick up the working thread, throwing it over the index finger, and in fact, now we have everything as usual when crocheting - in the right hook and knitting, in the left - working thread.

We begin to knit the beginning of the bead. To do this, we grab the working thread with a hook and bring it out through the ring. We again grab the working thread and bring it out through the resulting loop on the hook. Our first loop is knitted. We knit three more exactly the same, each time introducing a hook into a large initial loop under two threads.

Having knitted 4 single crochets in this way, we pull up the free end of the thread to the stop and thus tighten our large ring into a small circle consisting of the first four single crochets. Congratulations! Our first, trickiest row is finished!
The next row we knit two single crochets into each of the loops of the previous row.

A small but very useful piece of advice. For convenience, we will make a mark with a thread of a contrasting color so that you can see where each of the rows of the circle begins and ends. We just thread a small piece of bobbin thread over the edge of the knitted circle and that's it. The label is ready.

The next row is done in this way. In the first loop of the previous row, we knit one single crochet. And in the second we knit two columns without a crochet. And we alternate in this way to the end of the row. The second row is ready.

Depending on the diameter of the beads you have chosen, you may need to knit 1 or 2 more similar rows per extension, only according to the following scheme: 2 (3) single crochets in the first 2 (3) loops of the previous row and 2 single crochets nakida in the 3rd (4th) loop of the previous row.

Since the diameter of my beads is only 9-10 mm, what we have already knitted with you is enough for me. Therefore, the next row (in my case, this is the 3rd row), I knit in this way: one column without yarn over in each of the loops of the previous row.

We try on our harness on a bead and see that in addition you can knit another exactly the same row. We knit the 4th row: one single crochet in each loop of the previous row.

Now the size of the strapping is sufficient and we pull it over the bead. We have only a little left - knit the rows in descending order and the knitted bead will be ready.

In descending order, the bead is tied as follows: in the first loop we knit one single crochet. From the next two we knit one single crochet. Those. we introduce the hook into one (second in a row) loop, grab the working thread. Without knitting it, insert the hook into the next (third) loop, grab the working thread again. And now we grab the working thread again and knit all three loops located on our hook. Thus we knit the entire 5th row.

On the 6th row, we knit one single crochet in every two loops of the previous row. And we are left with a very small section of 3-4 loops, which we close by pulling a knot with a cut working thread through it.

That's all. We just crocheted a bead with you. It remains to hide the cut tail from the working thread. Just thread it through the bead with a hook and cut off the excess. Ready!

As a result, after you repeat all the steps described above 10-15 times again, you will get wonderful multi-colored (or one-color, as you like) crochet beads. And next time we will make something beautiful and unusual out of them. What it will be, I don't know yet. Maybe something for our kids. Some kind of jewelry - or beads or a bracelet, or maybe something else ... We'll see.

In the meantime, the promised few words about how you can change the color of yarn at home. Of course, we are talking about the yarn is originally white. In this photo, which is higher, pink beads are just made from such yarn. To color it, I used a small amount of liquid handmade soap pigment. Only not food which, namely pigments. They were already divorced from me (I don’t know what exactly, I won’t tell you here)

I unwound the required amount of yarn, dripped a certain amount of red pigment into it, shook it a little in my hands, distributing it in this way along the entire length of the yarn, rinsed it and ... voila! I got a soft pink yarn. Here is such a simple, but very effective and most importantly affordable way.

By the way, if you have any questions or you just feel more comfortable when everything is shown clearly and live, you can watch this video. I specially recorded it for this post and for the members of my VKontakte group.

Fine. We will probably finish with yarn dyeing and crocheting beads for today, and in conclusion, I will tell you a little about what so interesting happened to me this summer. Well, first of all, this is my new hairstyle and my new look. I already wrote about this in my last article, when I told you about how and under what circumstances I got into a needlework magazine with one of my master classes. If you haven't read it, read it - it's interesting.

Then there was a long and painstaking work in preparation for my husband's personal photo exhibition. He is my photographer. In addition to preparing the premises and the photographs themselves, it was also necessary to find and warm up the target audience and come up with something interesting for them.

Literally half a month before the exhibition, I finally completed the super-duper brooch that I had been dreaming about since last winter. She turned out gorgeous. All passers-by look at her with all their eyes, and she is also so big! Far to see. I'll show it to you a little later.

And, of course, I continue to twist and turn candy bouquets, which I really, really like, and just a couple of days ago I finished work on a very large order. I have never made such large compositions for anyone! In size, it was 70x70 cm, can you imagine? I will also show you later photographs of this giant miracle. Well, ahead of us is a long-awaited trip to the sea. Because summer is running out, and we didn’t swim or sunbathe anywhere except on the nearest lake (and then artificial). Need to fix this!

I will probably even write a separate article in the style of “How I spent this summer” and there I will tell you in detail and with pictures how it was. Because like this, you can’t describe everything in a nutshell, but I want to tell a lot. Therefore, subscribe to those who have not had time to do this yet for updates and wait for my new article by mail.

Share the material with friends on social networks, add it to your pages or bookmarks, subscribe to my newsletter with new master classes, patterns, patterns, announcements of contests and other equally interesting handicraft projects and always be positive and creatively purposeful!

Creative success and good mood!
