However, if you do not limit yourself in the choice, it turns out that everything is not so bad. It seems that just some five years ago, translucent medium-density tights were considered almost taboo. Tight tights with a strong contrast, fishnet tights and small polka dots in obligatory black were almost the only options approved by the gloss. I don't like the combination of flesh-colored tights and black shoes; it looks not only rough, but also old-fashioned, so if you prefer the effect of bare skin, do not wear pantyhose at all. If you want to slightly camouflage your legs, then a win-win option is black opaque (opaque and non-shiny) tights. Dense matte black tights are my favorite in winter. They go well with any winter clothes and suede shoes. I do not recommend combining tight matte tights with patent or leather shoes, this combination looks inelegant. Also, tight tights should not be worn with a knee-length pencil skirt - this will "weight" the lower part of your figure.

3. White dress + red pumps we combine not with black translucent, but flesh-colored tights. In this case, the contrast between red and beige is much less than the contrast between black and red, so we choose the lesser of two evils.

If you have colored shoes: burgundy, green, gray, chocolate, etc., it is not necessary to strive to match tone-on-tone tights. Under any colored shoes, you can wear translucent matte tights in black, coffee or smoky color up to 20 den, which will not contrast with the color of the shoes. I recommend always having neutral-colored tights in your wardrobe; they go with almost any outfit.

An important nuance in choosing tights is also their density . Tights, in addition to their main thermal function, also have a camouflage property. Therefore, the density of tights depends on the condition of your legs. Dense tights - from 50 den camouflage both the thickness and flaws of the legs: veins, bruises, etc. And thin tights - up to 20 den are recommended for girls with perfect legs. Density also depends on the shoes you wear under tights. Examples of optimal combinations are shown below. Shoes, as a rule, involve transparent and translucent tights. The exception is suede shoes, which go well with dense matte tights. Ankle boots look great with thick tights, although some of the sleeker models can also be worn with translucent tights. Boots should only be worn with tight tights, the combination of boots and translucent tights not only visually shortens the legs, but also looks quite vulgar.

Light matte tights - although not the easiest option for combining with clothes and shoes, they have the right to be present in the wardrobe of an adult girl and woman. This option is especially good for complementing multi-layer sets in light colors from knitted jersey. Also, these tights can be worn under light chiffon and silk dresses and tunics in combination with light suede over the knee boots. Of course, light-colored tights suggest light-colored shoes, preferably boots, so that only a small part of the legs in tights is visible.

Colored matte tights are one of the riskiest options. If you do purchase colored tights, I recommend starting by introducing them into your set as a small accent, for example with a midi skirt or high boots so that a very small area of ​​​​the leg in tights can be seen. If you want to experiment, dilute some monophonic outfit with colored tights: black, gray, brown. Avoid "flashy" colors of tights: yellow, bright blue, red. Petrol, eggplant, emerald or burgundy tights look stylish. Shoes should also be selected as close as possible to the tone of the tights, so as not to create a clear contrast and not turn the image into a fancy dress.

Fishnet and fancy tights - an option for "advanced fashionistas", because there are no rules for combining them with clothes and shoes, you can only trust your own sense of taste and intuition.
