The sims medieval get married with a passion. The sims medieval guides and walkthroughs. "Approach: "I need a fun, friendly partner"

Heroes
Groom - Healer (Christian)
Witness - Bard (Molly)

Minor Heroes
Bride - Blacksmith (Cinderella)

First of all, before you start the task, the game will ask you to choose the heroes who will go through it (the groom, the witness and the person with whom you want to marry). You can choose any inhabitant of the kingdom, with the exception of the monarch.

Bloodletter Christian in anticipation: today is a significant day. He and the apprentice girl Cinderella are sure to get married. Of course, permission will be required, and let's hope Lord Voldemar the Great will agree to give it.

Naturally, to arrange a wedding, you need a lot of preparations, and his friend Molly will help our hero in this. In the meantime, Molly is preparing for her assignments, Christian can get to know his bride better.

So, the first task for the doctor kiss.
Find the bride with the yellow marker. Of course, it’s impossible to kiss the girl right away, so we talk, flirt and develop relationships until the “Kiss” option appears on the character (the menu is romantic).

Ask to be courted It will not be difficult either, because the relationship between our heroes is no longer friendly.

Now it's time ask to be a bridesmaid at a wedding our second hero, the bard Molly. To do this, they need to make friends. Only being on good terms with the hero, the bard will agree to help.

The monarch can approve or annul the wedding, so he needs ask for a marriage license. Since our wedding is in public, and will be held in the reception hall, the monarch will demand payment for it. If you agree to a discount, then the wedding will cost the healer 100 gold. Remains only pay for a marriage license royal adviser Euston.

Meanwhile, the witness is puzzled finding two wedding dresses And two wedding rings. All this can be bought in a village shop outside the walls of the city. After purchase, you need donate wedding dresses and rings bride and groom.

Bye fiance choosing a wedding dress in the wardrobe and goes to the reception hall to get to the ceremony, the witness brews holiday ale. Festive ale can be brewed in a wine keg. To prepare it, the character's inventory must contain the following ingredients: honey (1), wheat (1), barley (1). All this can also be bought in the village shop.

Festive ale brewed, left file it future newlyweds. We select the “serve a drink” function on the keg with the finished drink. Next, from the list, you need to choose our heroes. It is very important that during the preparation and serving of the drink, all the heroes are in the same room, otherwise the newlyweds will not be on the list of those who can serve the drink.

Witness giving a wedding speech. For this task, we approach the bride and select the "Make a wedding speech" function on her. We also choose which speech will be delivered.

And finally, the main task - get married to the person you are engaged to. To complete it, the characters must have sufficient romantic relationships so that the "ask for marriage" and "marry" functions would appear. Next, you need to choose a wedding venue. In churches of a certain denomination, marriages can only be entered into if one of the characters belongs to that faith.

Then you should choose a place for the future life of the newlyweds. In the case of marriage, the heroes will only live and spend the night in their house. For example, if you choose a hospital as a place of residence for a healer and a blacksmith, then the blacksmith will appear in the forge only during working hours. The rest of the time will be devoted to marriage.

OK it's all over Now. Christian and Cinderella are married, it remains only to kiss.

After looking around and scratching the back of his head, your monarch says to himself: “My life is miserable because I have no heir or heiress!

"Your monarch swears that he will find a suitable lover to have a worthy heir. But this is not so easy to do ...

"In order: first I will write an ad that I am looking for a worthy parent for my unborn child!"

In order to write a declaration of intent, click on the writing desk, which is located on the right side of the castle, in the same place where the table with the tactical map is located.

In order to send an announcement of intent, you need to click on the post office and select the menu item "Submit an announcement of intent".

After that, you should take care of your appearance and take a bath.

Clue: the bath is located on the second floor of your castle in its left part (above the game room)

"Now that I smell so delicious, no one can refuse me!

It's time to go in search of passion."

Attention: This task is quite tricky, as the game offers you a choice all (!) characters of the opposite sex that are in your kingdom - that is, all men or women, regardless of their social status. In this regard, your character can have a child from anyone - choose for yourself. If you have long wanted to set someone up with your handsome monarch, then you have a chance to do this as part of the quest.

So, your character met three people of the opposite sex. The bride was very tired of him, and he retires to rest and make an entry in his diary.

"So many things happened today that I should write about it in my diary."

"Dear diary! I managed to find some great possible passions. But I don't know what to do next. How will I know who is better"? And our hero finds himself at a crossroads ...

Approach: "I prefer a strong, aggressive partner"

"What is there to think? Ferocity and willingness to fight even with bare hands - these are the qualities a mother should have! Let the fistfight show who is worth what!"

In order to fight with each of the brides, you need to click on the girl with whom you want to fight and select the "Arrange a fight" menu item. You can find the Sim we need by the character marker.

"I got an amazing spanking! Worthy passions, you can't say anything. But I need to make a clear choice."

In order to become enemies, you need to select an object (in our case, this is one of the brides), select the menu item: "Snooty ..." submenu item "Declare: ... - enemy". I'm not sure that I fully understand the logic of the developers, but after this action, the girls become your character's best friends. Perhaps this is a hint that “the less we love a woman, the more she likes us”?

"I managed to test the strength of my passions. I should write about it in my diary.

"Approach: 'I want a fun, friendly partner.'

"In our difficult times, the ruler cannot survive without humor and friendliness! Let each passion tell me a joke!"

In order to ask each of the girls to tell a joke, you must first find her. To facilitate the search, there is a character marker.

After that, the king will want to hug all his girlfriends, first in a friendly way, and then in a royal way. To do this, you will again have to look for them, which again will help us with the search marker.

We return home and make an entry in the diary.

We learned enough about the applicants and chose the most suitable one. The king thought: should the future mother of the heir be considered only as a means to continue the family, or can one succumb to the temptation and allow oneself to fall in love with her?

Approach: "You need to focus on the task"

"That's all that concerns the unborn child. It is impossible that feelings prevent me from fulfilling my main task: to acquire an heir."

A monarch cannot allow feelings to guide him in such an important matter as the birth of an heir. Therefore, he must draw up a contract that precisely defines his rights and the rights of the mother in relation to the child.

In order to write a draft agreement, you need to click on the desk and select the menu item "Write a draft agreement on the right to a child."

"Done! Now I need to hand over this contract to my passion!"

In order to hand over a contract to a passion, you must first find it. To facilitate the search, there is a character marker.

Approach: "I can have a deeper relationship."

"It is impossible for my child to be born without love. I will write a letter to my passion... To my heart friend... To my sweetheart!"

In order to write a love letter, you need to click on the desk and select the menu item "Write a love letter".

In order to give a love letter to a passion, you must first find it; the character marker will help us out again.

The matter is already in the ointment, but now the monarch must decide what gift he will give to the heir when he is born.

Approach: "The strength of the body is a worthy Gift for any child"

In order to fight with someone, you first need to find a character who will fight against you. If you have not yet built a barracks or a spy corps, then you need to train someone first. In order to train characters in martial arts, you must have either a training ground or a training dummy (the cheapest costs 290 simoleons). If a barracks or a spy corps is built, you can fight with the inhabitants of these buildings, then you do not need to train anyone.

In order to join the battle, you need to select an opponent, click on him with the mouse, selecting the "Monarch ..." item, then "Fight".

Your monarch has received the gift of power, which he will soon pass on to his unborn child.

Approach: "The ability to perceive feelings is an important Gift for a royal heir."

In order to argue with someone, select the menu item "Cocky ...", the submenu "Argue"; in order to apologize, select the menu item "Friendly ...", sub-item "Apologize".

But where do we look for the second Gift? There are two options, as usual.

Approach: "The secret Gift must be kept in a deep cave."

Hint: The cave is in a graveyard.

Approach: "In a noisy city, the Gifts of its inhabitants are likely to be stored."

In order to look for a gift in a distant village, you just need to head to the village by selecting the menu item "Search for a Gift in the village".

So, both approaches led to the fact that the second gift was discovered, now it's time to take a break and visit the bride before she forgets us. And then the time will come to find the third gift for the heir - we are traditionally offered to choose where to look for it.

Approach: "All necessary Gifts are stored in the mind."

In order to ask people for deep understanding, you need to select any citizen by clicking on it and select the "Ask for deep understanding" menu item.

Approach: "The best Gifts are in the soul."

In order to ask people for faith, you need to select any citizen by clicking on it and select the "Ask people for faith" menu item. And now, your monarch has received the third gift - the Gift of Faith.

One way or another, the monarch found three gifts, and this means that his search is over - now he has something to pass on to the heir. But now our dad is overwhelmed by worries of a completely different kind ...

In order to make sure that everything goes smoothly, our hero and his sweetheart must perform an ancient ritual of procreation. The action will take place in the forest, away from prying eyes, and in order to relieve tension, we need a bottle of fertile wine with a pomegranate taste - but for wine we will have to hit the road to the neighboring country of Prosperity.

When preparing for the trip, let's not forget to look for our betrothed in order to kiss her goodbye and arrange a meeting.

In order to kiss the passion goodbye, you need to find it; this is very easy to do, since a character marker leads to your crush. To perform the required action, you need to click on the passion and select the "Kiss goodbye" menu item.

In order to get fertile wine in Prosperity, you need to board the ship that stands on the pier. The destination, i.e. the Pier, can be reached in two ways: using a marker or a panel on the left of the screen.

In order to perform the ritual of procreation in the forest, you need to go into the forest.

In order to get married, you need to click on the character you need and select the "Romantic ..." menu item, then the "Marry...

"Since during the passage of the quest I have not yet managed to build a single church, I have only one sub-item of the "Marry..." menu available - this is "Marry here". Attention: it often happens that a wedding fails for some -for any reasons, in order to avoid any difficulties, do not set any actions to your character after you clicked to marry. After some time, an angel or someone else will descend from the sky and unite your characters in marriage.

Approach: "Yes, gender matters!"

Approach: "Boy. I need a prince!" And Approach: "Girl. I need a princess!"- essentially the same In the end, it all comes down to approach: "No, I will thank the Watcher for a child of either sex."

In order to develop a procreation strategy for a tactical map, you should return to the castle, click on the table with a tactical map (located on the right side of the castle) and select the "Develop a procreation strategy" menu item.

In order for this menu item to be available, you must first use all the sub-items of the "Friendly ..." menu, or at least most of it, because if you take the bull by the horns, the opposite character may not like it. To use the "Romantic..." menu sub-items, the two characters must be on very good terms.
In order to have sex, you need to select the menu item "Romantic ..." submenu item "Have sex"

Attention: In order to have sex, you need a double bed!

How do you know if a character is pregnant? After the female character becomes pregnant, music is played; it is not possible to have sex the next day as this menu item is simply not available and the female character is walking around with a belly. Pregnancy lasts three sim days.

After the long-awaited heir is born, the father will need to communicate with him to find out if this child is suitable for him or not. In order to spend time with the baby, it is enough to hold him twice in your arms, and you can go on with your royal duties.

Now the new father needs to pour out his feelings in a diary - the "write in diary" option will appear when you click on the monarch's desk.

The quest is completed: the king now has a son or daughter, and the country has an heir to the throne, a future ruler.

Why does my monarch/knight/spy lose in duels?

The hero's martial arts level is too low. You can increase it by training on a dummy or by fighting. The training dummy can be purchased in furnish mode.

Duel

- Where to fish (or leeches)?

You can catch fish and leeches in the river or near the pier. They are marked with circles on the water, which disappear (temporarily) after the end of fishing. Blue circles indicate a place where you can catch fish, and green circles - leeches. Also, leeches and fish can be bought in the village shop, for this, in the Watcher mode, find the way to the village and send the hero to the shop through the road sign.

- How to send a letter?

Find the nearest "post office" (for example, on the right near the entrance to the palace) and click on it. You will be given a list of use cases. Quest menus usually only appear once per quest, as opposed to just sending a letter.

- Why does the character return from hunting without prey?

Your character is in a bad mood or is physically weak. To send the hero to hunt, click on the sign in the forest clearing, if the indicator of the “Hunt” button is highlighted in green, the hunt will be successful, if it is red, your character is doomed to failure, yellow says that the result depends on luck.

- Why does the character not want to complete the task?

In The Sims, heroes don't want to work when their needs aren't met, in particular, the hero wants to sleep. Cheer him up: let him sleep, eat, admire himself in the mirror, etc. If time is short, you can drink an energy drink or sleep/meditate for a short time.

- How to call for a duel?

To do this, click on the Sim you want to challenge and select Monarch/Knight/Spy: Challenge. Other professions cannot challenge.

What happens if you don't do your daily chores?

To begin with, the hero's mood deteriorates. In addition, for failure to complete the mandatory simple quests that appear once a day, a punishment is provided - pads, the death penalty.

- Where can I find the desktop?

In furnish mode, select sort by set and select the "Professional" tab.

- Hell of a lack of angel grass! Where can I find more Angel Bushes?

There are only 5 bushes found on the map.

1. Behind between the market and the tavern.

2. Behind between the kingball and training grounds (on the vector from the Watcher).

3. Between the Jacobite and Peterian cathedrals (if they have not been built yet, then focus on the great oak).

4. To the right of the Peterian Cathedral near the wall with a path to the forest.

5. Near the forest glade, on the way to the cathedrals, near the wall.

- Where can I find the stone of power?

There are only 4 power stones found on the map so far.

1. To the left behind the mage's tower, at the edge of the cliff.

2. In the Lighthouse area, behind a small rock at the edge of the sea.

3. Near the Gazebo of the Watcher.

4. Behind the Jacobite Cathedral (or in the wasteland before the construction of the cathedral), at the edge of the cliff.

Screenshot before the construction of the cathedral

Screenshot after the construction of the cathedral

Note: If you are playing as a mage, then it is enough to find one nearby bush or stone and, if necessary, stimulate their growth using the Growth spell.

Where can I get the dark blade to make the Doomstaff?

Send your magician out for walks in the woods more often. You will randomly drop different events. If you suddenly get into an event with a guard at the bridge, attack him.

    Monarch:

- How can a monarch listen to petitions?

Click on the throne of the monarch, and then select the action "Hold a party".

    Dealer:

- How to trade with other countries?

Explore the political map (for example, in the palace), the menu "political situation. See what the country you want to trade with imports/buys/changes. Find these things (for example, two pieces of cheese from the village shop are exchanged for 1 tree in Masterland) and go to the Pier. Click on the ship - open the hold - shift all items into the hold. Close, now the "sail for trade" menu is active - send the ship to the desired country. Items that are imported are "exchanged" for money. Items that are not needed are returned.

The Sims series has always been akin to spying on the neighbors through binoculars: little people just lived - ate, drank, slept, went to work, and the player just watched it all, occasionally interfering. But after a while, an inexorable desire arose to take one of the Sims, and ask: “What is all this for?” Why do you get into the car every day that takes you to work? To receive a salary, would have been the answer, to have enough money to buy a new house and furniture. Why do you need a new house and furniture? And here, perhaps, even the wisest Sim would not have an answer.

Equipping the life of virtual men is, no doubt, very interesting. However, here, as in life in general, there is a big problem: virtual life is aimless and therefore boring. This problem was partly corrected by a variety of activities: tired of being an athlete, try to learn how to play the piano! When untried activities were over, there was usually some kind of supplement that could keep yourself and your Sims busy for a while.

No, of course, The Sims 3 introduced the "wish of a lifetime" system, but for goodness sake, is "your Sim will be very happy" enough reason to strive for something?

And then the Sims Medieval came out ... And from the very beginning it became clear that in these Sims everything is completely different from the Sims. If only because under the leadership of the player is not a single sim and not even a large family, but the whole kingdom - with the adjacent lands, as expected.

This is interesting: in all previous games in the series, the player could feel like a god who decides the fate of mortals. And only now the divine essence of the player was finally recognized: Sims call him the Watcher and offer him prayers.

All can kings

The fact that you can play cards is trifles. The main thing is that you can cheat during the game!

This blue worm's mouth is taken by Sims who take too long off duty.

But the deity itself cannot take and make everyone feel good, he definitely needs someone who puts the will of the Lord into practice. And such a tool will be the monarch of the newly-minted kingdom - the first hero that will be allowed to be created in the game.

Each kingdom exists for a reason. He always has a specific goal: for example, to build ten different buildings in the capital or fill the treasury with the required amount of money. How the king will go to achieve this goal depends only on his royal desire. The same money can be earned by robbery or trade. And how many ways can you get goods for trade ...

In addition to the goal and the monarch, the state also receives a certain amount of so-called "quest points", which are spent on obtaining the actual tasks. If the "goal of the kingdom" is a strategic perspective, an ideal to strive for, then tasks are tactics. Form an alliance here, help someone there, establish trade somewhere else.

Tasks can be performed not only by the monarch himself, but also by his subjects: a bard, a spy, a healer, or someone else, depending on who you have already hired. And each of them will achieve results in their own way: the knight will prefer a fair fight, the spy - cunning and deceit, the magician will turn to spells for help.

"Yes Yes! He is still watching over us!

"Poor Yorick, I knew him..."

When the “quest points” run out, the game will also end - and the king will receive a medal, from copper to platinum, depending on how well he coped with the current mission. Medals aren't just pretty decorations, they unlock new "Kingdom Objectives" that you can choose from when you start a new game. There are twelve goals in total, and which of them are available is determined by the quality of the previous ones. Earn silver for the first goal - one will open. Get a gold medal - you can take the one that was given for the silver medal, and one more, already for the "gold".

The most interesting thing happens when the last, twelfth, goal is completed. At this moment, the feeling of the impossibility of what is happening comes - after all, you just completed The Sims!

The kingdom is us

Although the king is the most important person on whom life in the kingdom depends, he will not be left alone. Gradually, new buildings will appear in the capital - a tavern, a forge, a hospital. In each, a special sim hero will find a place for himself, which will sometimes also be under your control. The heroes will go about their business and receive "experience points" for this, having gained a certain amount of which the sim will grow in level, learn something new, or begin to do the old one much better.

No fight is complete without spectators. Surely someone will come
to see who gets killed today...

No matter how hard the priest tries, the popularity does not grow. Bard, perhaps, to call for a warm-up?

At first glance, it may seem that Sims Medieval has been overtaken by a plague of simplification that is ruthlessly destroying games. From the six needs that were placed in the "well-being" tab in the Sims, only two remained: satiety and cheerfulness. Now you do not need to make sure that the character takes a shower on time, goes to the toilet, and certainly communicates with others, having a rest in a good company. Horror, right?

Far from it. The real horror would be if all this remained and continued to affect the mood of the Sim, which, by the way, is now called "concentration" and affects the success of everything that the character tries to do.

The “wishes” that could be promised in The Sims 3 have been replaced by daily responsibilities. Every day at 9:00 local time, the Sim learns what they need to do today: pay taxes, collect herbs, make a potion, take in so many sick people - the list of possible duties depends on the character's profession. If a Sim fails to perform their duties, they suffer a serious disadvantage to focus.

Now imagine that you had to keep track of the six scales (as before), perform daily duties and still make time for tasks ... Trying to keep the hero's focus at a high level at the same time. Wouldn't have been able to. Here, for some tasks, you don’t have time to eat, not like climbing into the bath every two hours.

Meditation successfully replaces magicians with sound healthy sleep. The reverse is not true.

Severity is the main weapon of the Jacobin church! And adamant
ness. These are the two main weapons.

The only thing that really disappeared without a trace, and it's not clear why, is the ability to move walls in build mode. The question is, why can't I add another hall for visitors to the tavern? It’s so crowded there in the evenings that the bard can’t get to the hearth for food or to the keg for a drink! Am I watching or going out for a walk? Annoying!

But even more offensive is the fact that the camera, which previously did not please with good handling, has become even more capricious. If the Sim went behind the building and hid from your eyes, you will no longer be able to follow him - the camera can only be moved within certain limits.

The character editor has not changed much since The Sims 3 - only the ability to select the “top” and “bottom” of costumes separately has been lost, but we won’t miss it much. There are quite enough ready-made sets - especially since they have their own for each of the possible professions. And if this seems not enough, the developers will certainly make up for everything in the additions.

In addition to appearance and clothing, each Sim has two special character traits and one fatal flaw. Traits allow the character to do something special - for example, "adventurous" Sims can go to the forest in search of these same adventures - and if found, they are very likely to receive an increase in focus. And a Sim with the "sloppy" trait will get an increase in Focus the longer they go without washing.

Well, what kind of recruits did they go, they can’t hit a scarecrow with two steps!

If the hero is tired of living, then you can always arrange a rodeo on a worm.

With a fatal vice, you will have to fight almost all your life. For example, a "slutty" character must at least kiss someone every day or his focus will drop. And it’s better for a “cowardly” Sim not to show up on the street after sunset - the fear of the dark will simply not allow him to concentrate ...

Migrated from Sims 3 and a bag in which the characters add up and carry a variety of property. Now, instead of yesterday's newspapers and rotten pancakes, all sorts of useful herbs, potion vials, swords and armor are collected in it. True, mobile phones were taken away from everyone, even magicians - what to do, they have not yet been invented ...

Instead of the monotonous pastime of earning money for the sake of buying new furniture, Sims Medieval offers to live several different lives with their characters. The life of a monarch is not at all like the life of a blacksmith or a bard. It's still the same The Sims, only now they have something new and very important: the goal. And the old game, without changing its foundations, suddenly sparkled with completely fresh colors.

MANAGEMENT

All the king's men

Instead of a family, a kingdom. Instead of parents and children - the monarch and nine of the best sims of the kingdom. Who are they? What do they do, and how should they take on the job in order to do it as best as possible?

Monarch

Neither forks nor spoons were invented in this Middle Ages. Everyone eats with their hands - and the peasant, and the king, and the clergyman.

Believe it or not, there is no kingdom without a monarch. And if the rest of the bards, blacksmiths and other magicians can be hired in any order, then the royal person is always created first.

The main occupation of the monarch is concern for the welfare of the people and the state. This is expressed in the fact that he can sit on the throne and receive petitioners. There are two response options for each request: one is usually associated with additional costs, and the second is in the spirit of “Why bother with it? Hang, and all the business ... ". It is quite natural that the “monetary” option is usually rewarded with fame points, and the “power” option is at best nothing. And if you are not very lucky, you can be fined.

When the monarch is not on the throne, he can pick up an activity to his taste: for example, go hunting in the forest and get himself meat for dinner. May decide to arrange a vote on laws, each of which increases or decreases the allegiance of the allied countries. And if it became completely boring, you can walk around the city and send a couple of people to the stocks.

Spy

An absolutely necessary person in the kingdom. After all, if it were not for the knights of the cloak and dagger, how would the monarchs know what they say about them in taverns and city squares? A spy is absolutely indispensable when a problem needs to be solved without noise and dust.

So, buddy, while no one sees - run away from here. And remember the mercy of the royal spy!

Like the monarch, the spy can vote on laws that affect relations between states, and use the tactical map in the castle to gain experience points. But this is not his true calling. It is much more useful to engage in true espionage craft. For example, make a vial of poison on the desktop, then mix it into food, treat someone and observe the result.

On a note: to give the dish to another character, in the cooking menu, you need to select the “serve” item.

Or go to the town square and eavesdrop on what other Sims are talking about - in addition to information, this earns experience points. And if someone seems especially suspicious, you can literally press him against the wall - in the communication menu there is an item “knock out information”.

This is interesting: the hottest topic of market talk is the approaching chinchillageddon, that is, the annual invasion of rabid chinchillas. You will still have a chance to meet these animals - and the Watcher save you if you forget to put on armor and arm yourself. They also say that the most successful adventurers can be lucky to catch a real chinchilla in the forest and settle it at home, at the fear of their neighbors.

Nothing escapes the sensitive hearing of the royal spy!

Whatever you do for the good of the kingdom...

To increase his well-being, a spy can shake the pockets of wealthy citizens, and both quietly and simply put a sword to his throat - and let him just try not to give up his wallet!

With the growth of the level, he learns to rob mailboxes - and uniform fun begins. The periodically appearing goal of the day “pay taxes” becomes just a reminder that it’s time to earn extra money: paid 250 simoleons at the post office and immediately stole 300-400 from the same box. Yes, even received a three-hour increase in concentration.

To increase concentration, it is very useful to go to the place of judgment, to feed the Beast in the pit - for this you need to have a piece of meat with you. At the same time there you can release someone from the stocks. Just remember that in this case there is a rather big opportunity to find yourself in pieces of wood, and this is a significant blow to concentration ...

Bard

Inspiration can be found anywhere, even in table conversations.

A creative person who is best with the lute and quill. The main occupation of the bard is to strum strings and scratch the pen on paper, which is occasionally interrupted by a thoughtful silence, which is called "search for inspiration."

Inspiration can be found anywhere: from noisy feasts in a city tavern to green loneliness in the forest. Writing is not a fast business, it takes a lot of time, but the "pieces" of inspiration - the future themes of poems and plays - regularly settle in the bard's bag. Although if it so happened that there is no time to search, you can cling to any Sim with the question “What would I write about?” and get one topic from him.

A bard can turn scattered pieces of inspiration into poetic lines at his desk. It takes two themes to make a poem, but a play takes three. You can name the work yourself, and it is not at all necessary that the title be somehow related to the topics used.

What to do with the written masterpieces? The poem can be read from the stage or dedicated to someone in a personal conversation. In any case, the bard will receive a couple of dozen Simoleons. Plays are more difficult: to stage, you also have to find a Sim who agrees to perform on stage with a bard - one-man theater is not in vogue here. But the earnings will be more significant than for poetry or playing the lute.

However, you can simply sell your literary opuses. It takes less time, and you can save a lot of money.

healer

This hero is extremely useful to anyone who cannot prepare an ointment or a vial of a healing potion for himself. Especially often a monarch, a knight and a spy will have to run to him - they are like small children, don’t feed them bread, let them get into trouble.

Nobility, small root, mix, but do not shake - and the medicine is ready.

In addition to the manufacture and sale of medical bottles, the healer will have to spend his time every two or three days (depending on the frequency of getting into trouble with other characters) picking in the mud in order to collect valuable healing raw materials, that is, leeches. Because medicine is powerless without leeches! In addition to the medicinal living instrument, it usually turns out to get about five frogs, which can then be cooked for dinner.

First aid for any illness consists in the fact that the doctor dumps a jar of fatty bloodsuckers on the patient's face - and in a second he is already as good as new. A worthy replacement for urine therapy from Space Rangers 2.

But if that wasn't enough, welcome to the rack... that is, to the operating room. Slightly frightened by the sight of medical equipment, the patient lies down on the table, and real shamanism begins: with the help of leeches, you need to move the mark on the “blood” scale as close to the center as possible. The more leeches the healer applies, the more the line will move down, so don't overdo it. When the mark takes the desired position, you can pour medicine into the patient.

In the most severe cases, surgery may be required. The principle here is the same as with “treatment”, but you need to drive the mark to the center of the “pain” scale, giving the patient an anesthetic that works with herbs collected in advance - try to always keep a supply with you.

Mage

The characters with secret knowledge in Sims Medieval are needed mainly in order to have someone to concoct a love potion or a bottle of "don't drink-me" that removes even the worst hangover.

This is what a good mage looks like. It differs from the evil one only in that it conjures away from the crowd in order to do without victims.

The magician's set of spells is small, but the method by which they are compiled is interesting. To memorize a new spell, the wizard needs to make a certain combination of runes at the desktop - add, for example, the runes "energy", "air" and "light" and get a "magic arrow". Known spells and the runes needed for them can be peeped at the same table. Once the sequence is complete, the enchantment can be cast as many times as desired at the cost of severe fatigue.

Only now the magician's head is not rubber, and only three ready-made spells fit in it. Tired of scaring people with “horror”, want to check something new? So, you need to go to the same table and crack yourself with a swing staff on the forehead - then the spell will be forgotten and it will be possible to memorize a new one.

Looking at how spells are forgotten, magicians can only feel sorry: concussion is clearly their occupational disease. But save pity for others - the magician is not so simple. First, he never sleeps. Instead, the Adepts of the Arcane can meditate anywhere, without the constraint of climbing into bed to restore their vigor bar.

Secondly, with potions and spells, the magician, like no one else, can bring himself into a state of extreme concentration. For example: “seduction potion” - plus 5 points, “telepathy” spell - plus 20, and, finally, to tell fortunes to yourself successfully - plus 15. Total 40 points of concentration almost out of the blue and, most importantly, almost without cost.

The last place where a mage can exercise his abilities is completely non-magical in nature: the forge. Pushing sweaty blacksmiths away from the forge, magicians create staves in the fire.

Dealer

The land of Simland is wide. By the time you get from the palace to the cathedral, you will stop six pairs of boots.

Oddly enough, the main income of a merchant in Sims Medieval is trading. Behind the word "merchant" is not hidden either a cunning pickpocket or a magician obliging to buy from him, and only from him, with spells. No, just a polite conversation, a rich assortment and quite a bit of flattery - this is the recipe for a successful trading operation.

First of all, merchants run to the village shop to see which of the goods is the most popular today. If there is one, you need to immediately buy it and put it up for sale in your shop in the city square.

But that is not all! Those who think that you can simply lay out the goods are mistaken, and the buyer will be found. The buyer needs to handle personally. Seeing that someone has approached the shop, a good trader will surely strike up a friendly conversation, take an interest in the health, religion and musical tastes of a potential client, find out how his day went, and then, as if by chance, offer to buy something.

For a long time? For a long time. But otherwise you won't sell anything.

Naturally, you can not torture yourself by trying to sell another halibut to another city dweller, but immediately collect a large consignment of goods, load it on a ship and go to distant countries. Moreover, these “distant” people are always ready to buy the same product, unlike the locals, who are served something new every day.

Knight

Sim Wars Episode Two:
golem attack.

Looking at the figure clad in armor, you will not immediately understand who is in front of you: a brave defender or a cruel oppressor. Physical strength and a long sword allow you to be both, especially since the king turns a blind eye to everything that the knight does while he regularly trains the people's militia and occasionally goes hunting. In the meantime, their majesty is diligently looking the other way, a brave warrior is extorting money from the townspeople...

And only the knight himself knows how boring it is for him to handle the same training scarecrow with a sword every day and rearrange the figures on the same tactical map. After all, almost everything that he can do, other heroes can do: challenge others to a duel, hunt in the forest, extort money ... What remains? That's right: a training scarecrow. Boring.

Priest

The religion of the Watcher in Sims Medieval is represented by two different monastic orders: the Peterians and the Jacobites. Both of them live very similarly - they bless the townspeople, try to convert them to their faith, read sermons and - especially diligently! - Accept donations. The difference between them is rather programmatic: the Peterians insist that the Watcher is all-good and from his grace will fall to everyone. The Jacobites agree that they will definitely fall, but not "mercy", but on the neck if you do not obey. That is why the sermons of the former are humorous, but with a twinkle, while the latter say such fears that Hitchcock will become envious. But even though the emotions are different, the more inspired the sermon, the more tired the priest will be and the more money the flock will donate.

To start preaching, a Watcher cultist needs very little: he would have a pulpit, and we have everything else with us. We click the pointer on the department, set the time for the start of the speech and wait. As soon as the desired numbers appear on the clock, click on the pulpit again and select the “start preaching” item. Then we choose one of the options for holding it - anyhow or with a soul - and wait for the results in the form of simoleons from the faithful parishioners.

A clarification for the Jacobites: if you scare the Sims too much, you will not see donations. Frightened half to death, the Sim tries not to help the good uncle priest, but to buy everything you need, collect the remaining money in a bundle and sit on top of it in anticipation of God's punishment. The Peterians don't have that problem, they wouldn't burst from beer. The main thing for a preacher of Peterianism is to find a style of sermon that will "hook" the parishioners, and stick to it until the popularity stops growing. After that, you just need to find a new style - and go to the tavern until the next sermon.

Well, you can’t do without a priest if your Sim suddenly wants to get a divorce. Just remember that only the holy father whose faith the character belongs to can annul the marriage - do not hope that the Peterian monk will agree to dissolve the marriage of the Jacobins.

Blacksmith

What to expect from a blacksmith in the Middle Ages? Strong armor and shearing swords, of course! And after all, no one thinks that even for inferior chain mail you first need to collect ore, and there’s nothing to say about swords - isn’t they forged from chlamium? So you have to run around the city and its environs, from vein to vein, in search of valuable metals. True, sometimes instead of mithril or adamant, stones of power are mined - they should be given to the magician in exchange for the spell of the fiery sword.

This is how the weapon of victory is forged... on the kingball court.

When all the necessary materials are available, you can start forging - and this is immediately plus fifteen points of concentration, by the way. First, we heat the workpiece in the forge, making sure that the mark on the scale does not get out into the red zone, because the metal cannot be overheated. When the piece of iron warms up, we pull it out onto the anvil and work it with a hammer, again following the scale - the mark will go blue, that's it, the metal has cooled down, now you can't see high-quality equipment. So we continue: heated - hit several times with a hammer - heated - hit, all the time trying to keep the mark as close to the center of the scale as possible.

You can simplify the work by purchasing a new hammer or forging it yourself - but it's still faster to buy, and you shouldn't waste time on trifles: take the best one you can afford. The fact is that with the improvement of the forging tool, the work begins to go faster and the chances of overheating or supercooling the workpiece become much less.

For recycling forged, a small shop is equipped near the workplace - not very large, for personal use. But just like a merchant, a blacksmith catches passers-by and, having previously chatted until ready, offers them his unique goods.

Legendary Traits

Fatal vices are as much a part of medieval Sims as virtues. But there is a way to deal with this scourge once and for all. Carefully read the descriptions of the tasks in the game - some of them have a note "a legendary trait is available in this task." Such a task is usually more difficult than others, but it's worth it - if the Sim copes with it, his vice will disappear, and in return a useful legendary property will appear.

Always full

They say that eating is bad! And they say quite rightly, because while the Sim is eating, he is deaf, dumb and inactive. With this character trait, the feeling of hunger will come much more slowly, which means that you will have much more time to do other things besides scooping handfuls of fish soup.

Strongman

Out of the blue your Sim has grown... muscles! No, really, just look at the relief of the biceps, and don’t forget to evaluate the triceps. But most importantly - an additional thirty units of concentration when the strongman fights, and heavenly chances of winning in kingball!

strong body

Sometimes it is also called "innate immunity to everything syndrome." Including almost every known disease, overeating and drinking. It will also be useful that Sims with a strong body get tired much less than others - both in work and in battle.

Has patience

You have to hurry up slowly. The realization of this simple truth affects Sims extremely beneficially, increasing the time allotted for completing daily tasks. In addition, it is easier for a patient person to communicate with others, which means it is easier to make friends. After all, what, if not patience, does it take to listen to the same chatter about rabid chinchillas over and over again?

Celebrity

It so happened that everyone knows your hero. And for some reason, everyone knows only good things about him, and no one will remember that he, for example, is a spy and likes to rummage through the pockets of honest citizens at his leisure. But this is good - now each interlocutor will be almost like an old friend to you. In this place, the merchants must have already smelled the smell of money...

Leader

It’s hard to joke with this legendary trait, it’s too good: plus ten points of focus for the heroes of your kingdom. Forever. Everyone. For nothing. And in addition, the ability to give out personal pluses, the greater, the worse the concentration of the one you are encouraging.

Links in guilds

The most appropriate trait for those who want to dress a blacksmith in a royal dress. Gives a Sim of any profession access to any outfit that is in the game. Well, it also reduces the cost of buying furniture ... But the main thing is clothes, right?

Rich

Sage

Knows how to seduce

Foreign policy

Your kingdom is not alone in this world. Although the neighbors do not come under the walls of your castle with beautiful flags and long swords, they are still there - at least they are indicated on the map lying in the royal castle.

What countries surround your young kingdom, and what can you expect from them?

Masterland

Is in alliance with you from the very beginning. Thanks to this country, your heroes can prepare hunting stew and masterland energy drink, which will help delay bedtime.

Masterland craftsmen will always be happy if you bring them minerals and ore - and will thank you with full-weight simoleons. In addition, they can exchange mushrooms and cheese for wood, colorful and nightshade - for a goose feather, magic powder for a potion of luck and a mysterious part for a steel hammer.

Bogatoni

Another union state. Already by the names of the recipes that this country provides you, you can understand that they are used to living beautifully in it: banking ale, Bogaton wine from gems and delicious bread.

Trade ships in Bogatoni carry a variety of herbs and seeds, and from there they bring only one thing - money. However, if there are no problems with simoleons, you can also exchange six measures of barley for gems, two measures of phosphorus for magic powder, three goose feathers for a gem ring, or a whole prisoner for some kind of durable lute (which is also sold in the village shop).

Joining this state will help your heroes cope with the problem of an overabundance of tasks and a lack of time to complete them. Conquer Ticktop and all deadlines will immediately increase by six hours - so that there is still time to take a nap.

The subjects of the Lord of Time will be glad if you go to trade with them on a ship whose holds are full of crystals and stones. But in a pinch, you can always trade gems for mithril, three goose feathers for a "deep burn" potion, and four measures of magic powder for a mysterious part.

Omutiya

By nature, the inhabitants of Omutia are the complete opposite of the restless Tiktops. And there is one craft that they have mastered to perfection, inaccessible to others - construction. Conquer them, and the cost of all buildings in kingdom points will be reduced by a quarter.

The Omutians buy stocks of medicines and are always willing to trade two pieces of chlamium for scraps of metal, magic powder for a strong ointment, and three mysterious parts for unicorn meat.

grubville

Thieves, bandits and pirates can also be allies, and why not? Especially if you call them exclusively “gentlemen of fortune” in their eyes and do not pay attention to where they get their money from. And there will be money - joining Grabville increases the rewards for completing tasks by twenty percent. And not only money, but also the number of experience points received! If you want to quickly get high-level heroes, it is worth making the capture of this state a priority goal.

Grabville thugs are understandably buying things that will give them the ability to cut heads further - that is, swords. If the weapon does not work out, you can exchange three magic powders for a prisoner, three rings with a gem for the Watcher's tablet or the Watcher's water ... three ... that is, two vials for an excaliburette - the best racket for playing kingball.

On a note: Kingball is a tennis-like game that can be played by up to three Sims at the same time. The characters throw the ball to each other, periodically missing it. The probability of winning depends only on the degree of concentration of the Sim and on the coolness of his racket. Winning a match will give you a focus boost, while losing a match will decrease it.

Spoonwich

A land of legally mandated afternoon naps ruled by a man who bears the title of Hrapmaster. Paradise for students and firefighters... But annexing it is useful for any kingdom - the capture will give an increase of ten points of concentration from the "job well done" modifier and reduce the damage from not performing daily duties by the same ten.

The Spoons import large shipments of fish into their sleeping realm and exchange five pieces of timber for a sleeping potion, a goose feather for mithril, and two tablets of the Dark Stone Watcher.

Avanton

The brave Avanton warriors are famous throughout the world for their discipline and perseverance. Apparently, this is why the capture of their state will reduce the number of task points that are needed to start completing a particular task.

The only thing Avanton needs is strong armor, because the way of life of mercenaries and soldiers does not contribute to the safety of uniforms. But if you are not interested in trade, but in exchange, then the Avantonians are always ready to exchange six pieces of adamant for a scimitar of accuracy, a Watcher's tablet for Avanton chain mail, and three dark stones for a unicorn horn.

Jacobitia

The state in which the shrines of the Jacobite church are concentrated and fear of the wrath of the Watcher hovers everywhere. And how not to be afraid if the ephemeral image of a deity is supported by the very real swords of the paladin order?

However, the impression that Yakovitia is the refuge of pious lambs is erroneous. Judge for yourself, joining her increases the daily income of all the heroes of the kingdom by a quarter. This is somehow mercantile for God's people ...

And finally, the illusions are dispelled when it turns out that the main and only product that the Jacobites are ready to buy is poisons. Something definitely rotted in the Jacobite state.

Yacovitia trades two pieces of wood for beautiful outfits, six pieces of mithril for the Watcher's staff, five goose feathers for the Watcher's water, and a captive for the Watcher's blade.

Due to the small size of the island, the elves living on it seem to have constant food problems - otherwise it is difficult to explain why they are always ready to buy meat from your kingdom. Even in Elfont, you can exchange three tablets of the Watcher for a magic staff and two dark stones for a fire sword spell.

yum yum yum

The name of the state speaks for itself - they eat there. A lot, with taste and great appetite. And, which is typical, they not only destroy imported delicacies, but also cook them perfectly themselves. Joining Yumnyamnia unlocks three delicious Yumnyambasa recipes for your heroes. In addition, all food gets twice the shelf life, and the pleasure of eating it lasts twice as long.

Yumnyamnia needs little: gourmet chefs are always ready to buy fruits and vegetables from you. Or exchange wild boar, bear meat, venison or five bird carcasses for sausage. They will exchange five vials of Watcher's water for a dark stone, and five pieces of unicorn meat for a magical fragment.

What heroes of different professions do, what countries can be found on the map, and what special traits a character can get if he tries very, very hard - this is perhaps the main thing you need to know about life in the Middle Ages. But there are so many more interesting things in it - unique items and recipes, intricate tasks and ways to solve the problems of the kingdom ... However, we'll talk about this later.

And... take care of your Sims! Especially spies.

Medieval characters can make friends, enemies, families, and children. The interactions between characters are similar to the interactions in the parent game, but the relationship bar grows much faster.

As before, the effectiveness of communication largely depends on the character traits and fatal vices of the heroes (there is no charm skill in Medieval). Friendly and eloquent characters build friendships faster than misanthropes and loners. If the characters have the same character traits, they will quickly find a common language. Almost every character trait has its own special interactions, they are in the communication tab "Character Traits ..."

Divorcing a marriage is quite simple - at one of the priests for 500 §. You can break the official love relationship with the help of the evil communication tab. It is undesirable to build relationships with the key characters of the current quest. After completing the quest, a new passion often disappears from the Kingdom and it is impossible to meet her in order to get married or, conversely, part.

Heroes can have children. To do this, you need to have sex with a partner several times (on a double bed or in a tent). To do this, you need to “relax” on the bed and invite your partner to caress, kiss passionately, and then have sex. They did not know how to protect themselves in the Middle Ages, so a woman usually becomes pregnant after the first or second act of love.

But what if the hero wants to have a baby, and the wife spends almost all the time in the city square, gossiping with her girlfriends, because she can’t be controlled? Everything is very simple: in the relationship tab, you need to put a marker on your spouse (it will be blue), then “relax” on the bed and “invite to caress” on the marker. A partner will come even from the other end of the Kingdom.

Sims' pregnancy is similar to pregnancy in The Sims 3. A pregnant woman can listen and touch her tummy, and try to determine the baby's gender. The most difficult thing is pregnancy for the heroines of active quests - they will not be able to perform most of the usual actions (fight with swords, drink alcohol, etc.), and then the baby will take a lot of time in the first days.

After giving birth, a crib with a baby will appear in the hero's house (it can be rearranged in furnishing mode), and the player will be asked to name the baby. You can give a name even if the quest with the future parent has already ended and a new one has begun with other heroes. Medieval mothers are very caring, they do not leave the baby for almost a minute, fathers, alas, do not differ in such behavior.

Medieval mothers do not leave their child even for a minute.

After some time, the baby will grow into a child (as in The Sims 4, there are no toddlers in Medieval), this will end his growing up. Children have one useful property - they can be sent to the village shop instead of themselves. To do this, you need to send the child to the store, and upon return, "open the child's luggage" and pick up the purchases.

Medieval children don't grow up.
