How to make soap for dry skin. Handmade soap recipe for dry skin. Many people experience tight, dry skin after showering.

Many women wash their face with plain or baby soap. According to cosmetologists, plain or baby soap has aggressive particles that can damage the skin. Cream soaps give the same effect. And high-quality and natural products, especially soap, are not so cheap. So what to do in this case?

Instead of a simple soap from the store, cosmetologists recommend cooking such a remedy at home, on your own. The main component of soap making is considered to be baby soap. For the base, the soap must be grated with large teeth and boiled (preferably in a water bath). After that, it is recommended to add a little milk for the base, about 50 ml. The proportions and quantity of ingredients can then be changed. Mix thoroughly and cook until smooth. After that, you can add other various components at your own discretion.

There are several basic and simple recipes for cosmetic soap. Eg:

  1. Sea salt soap kills bacteria, cleanses and gives a light peeling effect. In addition to salt, there are other ingredients in the composition. In this case, the effect of using soap will increase. For the recipe, you need to cook soap with milk. After you need to add a little vegetable, coconut, almond oil. After complete remelting, it must be removed from the fire and cooled. In a warm consistency, you need to pour 2 ml of vitamin E, neral essential oil. Salt is added only at the very end. After everything you need to quickly mix and pour into molds. Everything must be done quickly, because the mass freezes almost instantly. If desired, you can press with a wet spoon on the consistency in the form. This must be done so that bubbles do not form. After that, leave it for a while to cool down. And the soap is ready.
  2. Soap with clay is made exactly as in the first recipe. Only instead of salt, you need to add a little clay. For soap, use blue clay. Soap needs to be prepared as quickly as possible, as the consistency quickly hardens. Blue clay soap gives amazing results on the face. When cooking, do not forget to add vitamin E and oils. Ylang-ylang oil is an excellent option.
  3. Scrub soap with coffee and chocolate or sugar. First you need to make a base of soap and milk. Then essential oils are added. Then natural chocolate should be added to the hot composition. The amount of the ingredient is measured at personal discretion. After that, you need to pour ground coffee into the composition. For sensitive skin, ready-made coffee powder is used. Coffee can be replaced with sugar. Before adding sugar, the consistency should be cooled. Also, do not forget about vitamin E and cinnamon oil.
  4. Herbal and oatmeal based soap provides comprehensive care, cleanses and can be used instead of a scrub. Oatmeal cleanses well, herbs enrich with useful elements, vitamins and oils maintain beauty and youth. In the form of essential oils, you can use bergamot or nerol. Oatmeal and dry herbs are added to the finished base. When the composition has cooled, you can add all the other ingredients. We must not forget to grind oatmeal and herbs in advance.

To stay beautiful, you need to study all the information about homemade soap making. For spending time preparing cosmetic soap, the face will thank you with beauty and radiance. Do-it-yourself cosmetics enrich the skin with useful substances, displacing chemical effects.

In everyday life, a person is constantly faced with the use of various chemicals. Every day, to keep clean, millions of people use them to wash dishes, floors, laundry and, of course, for personal hygiene. Moreover, a person comes into contact with toxic substances in the course of his normal life. This cannot but affect our health and general condition: dangerous components of conventional products - hair dyes, cosmetics, shampoos and hair balms, etc. enter the body through the skin, negatively affecting the body as a whole and causing various diseases.

One way to avoid such exposure can be to make various products yourself. You can start simple - by making homemade soap. Soap is one of the simplest and most affordable things with which it is easy to maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene. Having mastered soap making, you can avoid unpleasant allergic reactions to purchased products, as well as enjoy the process itself.

Kinds

There are many types of handmade soap: each sample can be absolutely any and correspond to the tastes of different people, as well as meet various tasks. To soothe problem skin, you can prepare honey, milk or chamomile soap. In this case, it will soften the influence of the environment and relieve irritation. This product is perfect for dry and normal skin.

For various purposes, you can prepare a cream soap, scrub soap, shampoo or anti-cellulite soap. A self-made product can be used not only by adults, but also by children, especially the children's version is relevant for those parents whose children suffer from allergies.

Glycerin soap can be especially distinguished, however, it is necessary to be careful with it and use it in moderation, because despite its positive properties - a high degree of skin hydration and the ability to make it more toned and elastic, it has a number of contraindications and possible side effects. It is especially dangerous to use it on inflamed and sensitive skin, and if used excessively, it will dry it out, depriving the outer layer of moisture. When making it at home, it should be controlled that the percentage of glycerin does not exceed 5% and never mix it with substances containing silicone. However, you should not be afraid of it - with moderate use, it will only be useful.

Advantages

Soaps that are sold in stores are usually far from ideal, so homemade soap can guarantee you reliability and confidence in the absence of side effects. Among other irrefutable advantages - such soap, unlike the samples sold, will be fragrant and useful. The process of its manufacture will interest people of any age: for it you can use not only all kinds of aromatic additives and color dyes, but also various shapes and interesting decorations, as a result you will get not a simple toilet soap, but an original work of art.

Manufacturing process

Experienced soap makers make soap from scratch from lye and fat. Beginners are offered a ready-made soap base, which can also be replaced with baby soap. The modern market offers many options for creativity, including special kits for beginners.

Basic set for soap making

The standard soap making kit is quite simple. You need to prepare a container in which all the ingredients will be mixed, prepare the necessary raw materials: base or baby soap, oils and desired additives (it is better, of course, to use all natural) and a form into which the prepared solution will be poured. Before use, the mold should be lubricated with oil so that the finished product can be easily removed from the container. It’s good to have alcohol on hand: it will help get rid of bubbles on the surface if they appeared while mixing the composition.

In order for the result to please you, it is recommended to use various additives in the preparation of homemade soap. Variants with dry herbs (celandine, succession, chamomile), with sea salt are popular. These options can be used as a scrub: grains of salt and herbs cleanse the skin of impurities well, so the effect of salt soap will be doubly beneficial. In addition, you can make a product with goat's milk or make it with clay or honey. Such products will be very useful if your skin is prone to redness and rashes, as they will relieve irritation.

Another way to make your soap unique is to add dyes to it. Soap making is a very creative process, and with dyes you get a beautiful and interesting result. Decorative soap will not only delight your eyes when used, but can also be a great gift for any occasion.

Natural dyes:

  • Green - herbs.
  • White - clay (white) or milk powder.
  • Orange - sea buckthorn oil or carrot juice.
  • Pink and burgundy - clay (pink), grated beets or its juice.
  • Yellow - turmeric will give a rich color, marigold petals.
  • Brown - coffee (ground), cocoa powder.

To decorate a gift soap, you can make it with a picture: just paste the printed image into a sample that has not yet set. Soap can also have prints with lemons, oranges, watermelon and other fruits or flowers, depending on the smell of the soap itself. Another decoration option is fancy ornaments inside the product - swirls, and coloring. And if you make some kind of inscription on top, for example, with the name of the recipient of the gift, it will become even more pleasant.

Aleppo soap It is one of the varieties of Castile soap. It is considered one of the most delicate and suitable for delicate skin, and its recipe is simple: 100% olive oil and a precisely calculated amount of alkali. Allepse soap differs from Castile soap in that it contains bay oil.

Another variant similar to Castilian is Marseille soap. Unlike Castilian, it does not contain 100% olive oil, but at least 72%. It is very soft and pleasant, and most importantly - does not tighten the skin after application. The process of its preparation is similar to Aleppo.

Now we come close to making whipped soap in a cold way.

To decorate our prepared bases, as well as for independent festive (and not only New Year's) cupcakes, whipped soap is the best way.

Whipped soap is loved by gentle love for a number of benefits:

  • It is definitely more gentle compared to the usual classic toilet soap.
  • Its airy texture melts on the skin, leaving only pleasant sensations after washing.
  • It doesn't sink in water. And for children, it can become another toy in the bathroom.
  • It looks very attractive compared to the smooth and even classic soap from scratch.

But at the same time, whipped soap has several disadvantages:

  • It rinses out a little faster than regular toilet soap.
  • Longer maturation compared to conventional classic sodium soap.
  • You want to return to it again and again, thereby forcing yourself to make new batches of soap!

Recently, more and more people are making their own skin and hair care products. For example, masks with pomace from medicinal plants, which are best used immediately after preparation. Manufacturers of cosmetic creams do not guarantee that only natural ingredients were taken in their production, and therefore the effect of such products is not always noticeable. I suggest you make your own cream for dry skin, which will provide nutrition and hydration to your face, regardless of weather factors.

Cream based on olive oil

In order to make such a cream, we need:

  • (oil extract) - 2 tbsp. l
  • Sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. l
  • Aloe gel or juice - 3-4 tbsp. l
  • Olive oil - 6 tbsp. l

Let's move on to manufacturing. First you need to mix the avocado extract with aloe juice, then add sunflower oil and mix all the ingredients again. Lightly heat the resulting mixture. After the mixture has cooled, pour in the olive oil, and rub the whole mass well. Your first cream has been successfully prepared!

Cream based on jojoba oil

Ingredients:

  • Aloe vera - 1 tbsp. l
  • Jojoba extract - 6 tbsp. l.
  • Beeswax - 2 tbsp. l (grate wax)
  • Vitamin E - 1 tbsp. l
  • Rose oil extract - 5 drops

Dip the wax, jojoba oil and vitamin E into a container with boiling water. Wait until the wax is completely dissolved, then remove the container from the heat and cool at room temperature. Add rose extract and aloe vera gel to the cooled mass. Mix everything thoroughly and store in a jar with an airtight lid.

Cocoa Butter Cream

Ingredients:

  • Orange oil extract - 2 tbsp. l. (if you have citrus intolerance, you can substitute)
  • Apricot extract - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Sesame oil - 4 tbsp. l.
  • Cocoa butter - half a cup

Mix the oils and heat over a fire to obtain a homogeneous mass. Let the mixture cool and then add the rest of the ingredients. Mix thoroughly and you are ready to use.

Cream based on almond oil

Ingredients:

  • Natural honey - 3 tbsp. l.
  • Coconut oil extract - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Lanolin - 4 tbsp. l.
  • Almond oil - 8-10 tbsp. l.

Mix the following ingredients in a container - almond oil, honey and lanolin. Heat over low heat without letting the mixture boil. When the mixture has cooled, add coconut oil, mix and transfer to a glass container.

All of the above homemade cream recipes for dry skin not only moisturize it, but also make it smooth by exfoliating dead skin cells. The effect of radiant skin lasts for a long time, even if you stop using creams

Friends, hello! Today I decided to streamline soap recipes a little from scratch and thereby make it easier for beginners and not only to search the site, having collected most of them here. Of course, over time, new recipes will be added to the site, but those that are are the basis, so to speak, so I hope that the article will be useful.

Soap from scratch can be prepared in two ways: cold and hot, I often make it hot, because soap can be used almost immediately (but it’s better to let it dry for 3-4 days), essential oils, chocolate, cinnamon smell better in hot soap, and the rest of the additives retain the maximum of their useful properties, well, it's just easier and faster for me. But there are certain types of soap that are best made in a cold way - this is milk soap and tar. I also made amazing castilla and Aleppo soap, also in a cold way. Well, about everything in order.

I will not repeat all the recipes available on the site, but rather I will tell you about the features of each of these types of soaps, and you can always go to the recipe you are interested in using the link in the name of the soap.

Soap recipes from scratch in a cold way

The recipe for Castile soap is extremely simple - 100% olive oil and lye, calculated using a calculator.

This soap is considered one of the most delicate in skin care, suitable even for people with sensitive skin and small children. The soap has a delicate, creamy, fine-bubble foam, and even if no fragrances are added to it, it retains a pleasant neutral aroma.

A feature of this soap is that, unlike other varieties, it should be aged for at least six months. Soap, of course, will ripen in a month and a half, but its sensory qualities will leave much to be desired. Unaged Castile soap will snot in your hands, soak in the soap dish and will not bring any pleasure from use. Please note that six months of exposure is just a necessary minimum. Castile soap the longer it sits the better it gets.

Accordingly, the question arises which oil to use. Based on already sufficient experience, I can say that in order to get a good soap, it is not necessary to take the extra virgin variety. Of course, unrefined oil is better in terms of composition and properties, but there is one fatty BUT. And this is the time. Of the several varieties I brewed from unrefined castilla oil, only one survived to a year. The rest burned out. Therefore, I recommend an ordinary refined olive for Castilla, it has much more chances to survive until ripe.

And another moment with aromatization. In Castile soap, this is almost meaningless, at least with essential oils for sure.

it is a type of castile soap. The Aleppo soap recipe also contains a high percentage of olive oil, but laurel oil is also added to it.

Laurel oil is taken in various percentages. The more laurel, the higher the antiseptic and antibacterial effect of using this soap. Soap is traditionally recommended for cleansing and caring for oily, problematic skin.

Aleppo is aged even longer than Castilian - at least 9 months, but the properties of this soap prove that it is worth it. Over time, the top layer of soap turns yellow, but inside it remains the same green, as can be seen in the sectional photo. The thickness of the yellow layer indicates the exposure time of such soap - the thicker, the longer the soap is aged.

Milk soap is one of the gentlest soaps on the skin. It is preferable to prepare milk soap in a cold way, following some rules, which are described in detail in the recipe at the link in the name of the soap.

One of the conditions for maintaining a milky color and aroma is that the soap should not go through the gel stage.

It is good to include olive oil and shea butter in the milk soap recipe - they will further enrich its properties.

Milk soap from scratch, brewed according to the recipe I offer, is great for caring for any type of skin, even children's and sensitive ones, and can also be used for the face.

Another recipe for a great soap for problem skin. The soap is brewed with the addition of natural birch tar and has a characteristic strong aroma.

It should be borne in mind that soap also smells strongly during preparation and storage, so if the smell of tar is unbearable for you, I recommend either not cooking at all, or making soap in the spring and summer, when you can store it on the balcony, for example.

The inconvenience with the aroma of tar soap is more than covered by its excellent healing properties. Possessing strong antiseptic and antibacterial properties, tar soap, with regular use, practically leaves no chance for any pimple. In addition, tar is successfully used to get rid of dandruff, so it can be a component of shampoo soap.

a recipe for soap brewed with lots of sea salt and coconut oil. Coconut provides soap with foamy qualities, and salt is designed to saturate the skin with minerals and trace elements.

Salt soap, as a rule, is made with an overfat increased to 12-15%, but despite this, it often dries the skin, so it is recommended either to use it no more than once a week, or for owners of oily skin.

The preparation of salt soap has its own nuances, which can be found in more detail in the link to the recipe in the name of the soap variety.

These were soap recipes from scratch, recommended for cold preparation. Next, consider the hot method of making soap. I must say right away that here the flight of fancy is simply unlimited, so I will describe only the most successful recipes for homemade soap in my opinion.

Soap recipes from scratch in a hot way

As the name suggests, this soap recipe is based on olive oil. This soap can serve as a great alternative to castilla, which I wrote about above. But unlike Castile soap, olive soap does not require six months of aging, and its properties are no worse, if not better, than its more famous counterpart.

Do you want a gentle soap with a simple composition and a minimum of troubles? Olive according to this recipe (in the link with the name of the variety) is your case.

By adding quite a bit of solid oils, we get a recipe that is more optimal in terms of tactile qualities and no less gentle in terms of caring properties.

this is an alternative recipe for Aleppo soap, brewed in a hot way. Its advantage is also that you can use soap almost a week after preparation, and its properties are in no way inferior to Aleppo.

Moreover, bay soap retains the original aroma of bay oil, which makes it even more attractive in the eyes of many soap makers and users.

Laurel soap is used for the care of combination, oily, problematic skin and copes well with various skin inflammations. The soap recipe is simple, only laurel oil is expensive, but if you have skin problems, then it is definitely worth it.

involves a special recipe, made taking into account the characteristics of the skin of babies. My version of the baby soap is high in olive and almond oils, as well as shea butter, which are famous for their emollient properties in soaps, and quite a bit of foaming and cleansing palm kernel oil.

This baby soap recipe has been successfully tested over the years on my own children and people I know who have hypersensitive skin. So I recommend using it without changing the composition and proportions.

Due to the fact that most of the oils are liquid, the finished soap will be soft for two to three weeks. This is normal and does not affect its quality in any way.

We have considered the basic recipes for homemade soap from scratch, but as I said, the hot method is an endless scope for imagination. Anything can be added to a hot-brewed soap recipe - honey, chocolate, various herbs, clay, silk, etc. And each variety will have its own special properties. I will give links to the most successful recipes:

a recipe that I repeat for years, my family's favorite soap 🙂 Slightly spicy, with a rich chocolate aroma ... mmm.. delicious! By the way, it is with the hot method that chocolate retains both aroma and properties. It doesn't turn out cold at all.

recipe with honey. An excellent soap for dry skin with a rich composition of oils.
