In the fifth row, repeat the pattern of the third row.

In the sixth and seventh rows, we repeat the pattern of the fourth row.

In the eighth row, the pattern repeats the pattern of the previous row, but the number of loops in the chains is no longer 2, but 3.

The ninth and tenth row are the same. First, 4 s1n are knitted with a combined base, then a chain of 2 ch, 1 s1n and again a chain of 2 ch. Further, in the course of work, we repeat, starting from 4 s1n with a combined base.

In the next row, the main pattern is repeated, but above the top of c1n a checkmark of 2 c1n is formed with a combined base just at this top.

The last row of the pattern is also similar to the previous one, but 2 ordinary s1n are already knitted above the checkmark. Then this row is knitted again and again until the desired height of the cap is reached. Before the beginning of the level of the top of the ears, you need to leave a couple of centimeters to knit a strip of several rows of single crochets (sc).

In the last row, we leave 15 sbn untied.

This will be needed in order to create ties on the back of the hat. To create the first tie, we knit 30 ch and in the opposite direction we knit sc on them.

So, let's move on to the description of the knitting process itself.
The start ring consists of 6 ch.

A block of 11 s1n is knitted into this ring, in front of which 3 lifting chs are knitted.

The second row also consists of 11 s1n and a lifting chain of 3 ch, but we already knit 1 ch between the columns.

In the third row, we knit 4 s1n in arches from ch.

The fourth row repeats the alternation of the second row.

In the fifth row, we knit 3 s1n in arches between the columns.

Again we knit a row similar to the second.

The next stage of knitting consists in alternating the pattern of the thirteenth and fourteenth rows without increasing the number of loops and columns. The height of the hat should be adjusted, periodically trying on a hat for a child or comparing the height with a regular hat of the right size, if it is not possible to try on an intermediate version of a knitted hat.

The final stage of knitting consists in knitting single crochets (sbn).

We knit 4 rows of sc without increasing the number of loops. After that, we knit a row in which we knit 2 sc into every fifth top of the sc. After that, we make a row of sc without increasing, but with the help of yarn of a different color. Again, the white row is knitted with an increase in the number of loops by knitting 2 sc in every sixth top. Next, several rows of sc are knitted without increasing the number of rows. After white, we introduce a beige row, again white and finish knitting with orange yarn.

As a result of many hours of work, we got such a hat for walking in sunny weather.

Let's move on to the ears. We knit each of them, subtracting 1 sc from each edge in each front row. We fix the thread and carefully hide it.

From the yarn for the “fur trim”, we knit the second layer of the “ears - back of the head” part according to the scheme indicated above. We connect the layers of "ears".

Now, starting from the corner of the visor, we tie a cap around the perimeter with a “fur” thread. Next, we knit a visor with single crochets for 15 rows, in the last five we bevel the edges.

We knit in circular rows in the direction from the bottom of the product to the crown.

We start with turquoise. We make a chain of 52/56/60 ch and connect it into a ring. We knit in columns b / n strips of 5.5 / 6 / 6.5 cm in series from turquoise yarn, orange and green.

At a height of 12.5/14/15.5 cm, we begin to decrease the loops:

We tighten the loops, cut and fasten the thread.

We decorate the hat with a pompom made of turquoise yarn.

We close the chain of 4 ch into a ring. We knit circular rows in this way:

2nd: in each p. we add 1 pssn, at the end we knit 1 sl-st in the 1st p. from the beginning of the row (= 22/24/26 p.);
3rd: in each 2nd p. we add 1 pssn, 1 sl-st (= 33/36/39 p.);
4th: in each 3rd p. we add 1 pssn, 1 sl-st (= 44/48/52 p.);
we knit the remaining 14/16/18 rows without adding.

After completing 18/20/22 rows, we break the thread and fasten it from the inside.

We make a multi-colored pompom from the remnants of yarn to decorate the hat.

Funny "animal hats"

We start knitting from the crown. We make a chain of 5 ch and connect in a circle. We knit b / n columns along the ring with the addition of loops:

in the 3rd - every 3 loops.

we knit sbn to half of the ring;
turn over knitting, 1 ch for lifting, a semicircle from sbn;
continue in this way until the desired size of the "ear".

At the end, we sew the “ears” and “eyes” to the “muzzle” - and a funny hedgehog hat is ready!

Hat with a muzzle of an animal

One of the cool hats for boys - a fun autumn-spring model with flaps for the ears - every child will like.

The description is given for sizes 44-48.

Take yarn from wool (53%) and polyacrylic (47%) with a thickness of 100 m / 100 g, 50 g each of gray melange, white and black. You will need hook number 7.

We collect 40 ch with a gray thread and connect it into a circle. We knit in a spiral with b / n columns. In the second row, change the gray thread to white and knit 5 rows. Then we return to the gray yarn.

At a height of 14 cm, we begin to gradually narrow the knitting:

1st row: every 7th and 8th loop we knit together (= 35 p.);
2nd row: every 6th and 7th - together (= 30 p.);
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th rows: decrease by 5 loops (= 10 p.).

We tighten the remaining 10 loops with a thread, fasten it and hide it from the wrong side.

On both sides of the front cutout (15 loops), we knit flaps for the ears 9 sb each. In the front rows of the valve, we decrease 1 sc from both edges until 3 loops remain.

We knit the “ears” of the animals in rows like this:

1st: ch 9;
2nd and 3rd: 9 sc;
3rd, 4th, 5th: we decrease 1 sc from each edge (= 3 sc).

For the "eye" you need to knit two circles of black yarn:

4 VP close with a ring;
we make a circular row of 8 sc;
we make another row of 16 sc.

"Nose" knit in straight rows:

1st: ch 5;
2nd: 5 sc;

For 4 cm before the end of the work, we make a decrease in one circular row: every 7th and 8th sc we knit together.
