He worked tirelessly all his life, enriching his experience with new knowledge.

The founder of the Reiki method of natural healing, Dr. Mikao Usui, according to the memoirs of his contemporaries, was a wise, open and warm-hearted person, an unusually gifted personality, a tireless inquisitive seeker of truth.

To date, there are many versions of how Mikao Usui came up with the idea to create a method of natural healing and spiritual development, for the development of which people would not have to spend many years of their lives.
It can be assumed that only he and the Universe knew about the true motives that prompted Mikao Usui to search for a unique Reiki technique, which eventually rewarded the Master for years of work and samurai endurance.

The knowledge about using the power of the Universe to create a system of healing and self-awareness, called Mikao Usui Reiki, was received by him during deep meditation and a 21-day fast. According to unverified data, this event took place in 1914.

In 1922, in one of the suburbs of Tokyo, Dr. Usui founded the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai (Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai) Natural Healing Society. Until that moment, he had been proving the viability of his Reiki system in practice for more than 7 years.

The Reiki system of Mikao Usui was officially recognized in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century as a method of healing and spiritual self-knowledge. Unfortunately, small misunderstandings sometimes lead to big misunderstandings. Only the one who created the conditions for its formation, the master of his body, his thoughts and beliefs, can get rid of the disease.

I became interested - what kind of teaching is this - REIKI? I started looking for information. And this is what I found on the website of Alexander Dvorkin, one of the leading experts on modern sects in Russia, in the section on the so-called "NEW AGE movement":

“... The most famous New Age medical (or, more precisely, pseudo-medical) practice, widespread in the modern world, is reiki (reiki), or "Usui Natural Healing System" . Reiki is not just a healing practice, but an established organization of a commercial-pyramidal type, and it is worth talking a little more about it.

Many critics doubt the reality of this whole story, and the inconsistency of the data about the "doctor" Usui indicates that these doubts are not groundless. All that remains of him is a photo of an unknown elderly Japanese man published by Reikists, and the burial place of the ashes of a certain Mikao Usui (a fairly common name in Japan), which they indicate. On the grave it is written that reiki is "a secret way to achieve happiness." Neither one nor the other is evidence of the reality of the legendary story they cite, which is so similar to the legends about dozens of founders of various sects.

At the international conference "Totalitarian sects in Siberia" held in January 1999, the German sectologist Thomas Gandow expressed the following hypothesis. The first undoubtedly real historical figure in the Reiki hierarchy was a former Japanese naval officer "Doctor" Chujiro Hayashi, who called himself a student of Usui, to whom, before his death, he allegedly entrusted "the preservation of the integrity of the essence of his teachings" and the gift of healing. Hayashi founded a clinic in Tokyo, where in 1935 he cured and initiated a young patient Hawayo Takatu, who later became the apostle of Reiki in the West.

After the death of Hayashi (he made himself hara-kiri shortly before the start of the war between Japan and the United States), Takata became his successor. She has been teaching Reiki while traveling in the US and Canada for over 40 years and has converted so many. She has initiated 22 Reiki masters in her lifetime. Takata passed away in December 1980. Today, international Reiki is led by Takata's granddaughter. Phyllis Furumoto who received initiation from her grandmother. Over the years, the Reiki organization has made a quantitative leap: if in 1980 there were only 22 third-level masters (Usui Shiki Ryoho) in the world, today this number has reached several thousand. What has been described above refers to the Reiki system that exists in the Western world. There is also the eastern lineage of reiki, or "Enersens", which, referring to the knowledge received through its lineage, claims that Buddhism was present in the practice of Usui and Hayashi's reiki much more than we now think, and turning to Avalokiteshvara for help. meditative connection with him before and during the practice of reiki - all this was considered normal for the founders of the tradition. There is also "Traditional Japanese Reiki" coming from other students of Usui, where Buddhist meditation is widely used.

So what are reiki? This Japanese word consists of two characters. The hieroglyph "ki" (Chinese "qi") is translated as the original life force or pneuma. The hieroglyph "rei" is about the same. Together they mean something like "life energy flowing through everything", "universal life force". Reikists believe in a faceless, dynamic substance that rules the world and the universe. Reiki is an “invisible vibrating spiritual energy” emanating from it, or “radiation similar to a radio wave. It can act selectively or as shortwave radiation. Therefore, successful treatment is also possible at a distance.” The Reiki tradition is a way of interacting with this energy, which is understood as a directed flow of a certain force that can be “conducted”, “strengthened”, “concentrated”, “directed”, given certain qualities to it. They often talk about the "cosmic energy" with which a person practicing Reiki "connects".

Here is what some masters write about Reiki energy:

Reiki is the energy of the cosmos itself... The master transfers the Reiki energy to the student in its pure, concentrated form, and a channel for its conduction opens in the student's body (J. Darrell).

Researchers have determined that Reiki energy enters the healer through the upper chakra and exits through the hands. Energy comes from the north direction in the north and from the south direction in the southern hemisphere (P. Horan). The Reiki Energy Reservoir was created by past Reiki masters (J. Sand).

Chujiro Hayashi left notes on Reiki that are most similar to case histories, because as a doctor and military man, he simply and briefly described the healing stories of people who sought help in his Reiki clinic. However, it is known that he was a Buddhist and taught some of his students Buddhist meditations as a means to help the practice of Reiki, and he himself learned these meditations from Mikao Usui.

Reiki heals through the hands of a master. How does healing take place? Reikists advise laying the patient on a comfortable couch and making sure that he is comfortable: cover him with a warm but not hot blanket, unbutton his clothes, dim the light in the room, turn on soft pleasant music, it is advisable to light incense. The patient must relax. Then the master lightly touches various parts of his body and listens to his feelings. If the master feels itching in the palms, then he has found the source of the disease. After processing all the organs, you can lightly rub the patient's body with sesame or other vegetable oil. These procedures should be repeated often enough for 3-4 weeks, after which healing can occur.

For an unbiased view, elements of hypnosis and suggestion are obvious, which should "help" the patient feel relief, or, in any case, make him strive to repeat the session. But that is not all. It is stipulated in advance that healing largely depends on the person himself. So if it doesn't happen, he has no one to blame but himself. The master does not control the reiki. Therefore, she (it) heals whom she wants and when she wants. There can be no guarantees. Those who turn to Reikists are advised to continue medical treatment (which distinguishes them favorably from other healing sects), but in case of healing, Reiki still needs to be thanked. In general, the Reikist masters have created for themselves an absolutely win-win lottery, in which, in case of success, they are declared to be the only reason for it, and in case of failure they do not bear any responsibility. What is the "pyramidality" of the rail? Since the practice of healing has proved to be a very profitable business, many are becoming interested in it. Reiki masters offer initiations for them. In total, for the first degree of Reiki, you need to go through four initiations, and each of them opens the student's chakras at ever deeper levels. Naturally, the initiation is paid. A candidate Reikist master is not required to complete 21 days of fasting on a mountaintop - it is all done in a few relatively short seminars and workshops, culminating in the laying on of hands. Having received the initiation as a "Reiki Master of the First Degree", the student can practice healing by the laying on of hands.

However, it is not clear whether Reikist degrees obtained in Russia are recognized in the West. According to some reports, they are recognized conditionally, that is, Russian masters who have moved to the West must pay the difference in the amounts according to the price list.

Many of the people who have gone through Reiki initiations then go on to start their own projects. However, as we have already written, such eclecticism and omnivorousness are very characteristic of the consciousness of modern man processed by the New Age doctrines.

Reiki (reiki) and healing. Hidden dangers!

What are reiki.

The reiki training system (or reiki from Japanese: rei - spirit, soul, ki - energy, mind), as one of the varieties of energy healing, considers all human diseases from the point of view of life energy, its deficiency or excess in the corresponding organs and systems of our physical body.

One of the most famous directions is Kundalini Reiki, the basis of which is the activation of Kundalini energy in the human body and its subsequent use to heal one's physical body, mind and help other people.

The following areas are also distinguished: mikao usui reiki, karuna reiki, named after the master teachers who founded these reiki schools, the training according to the systems of which is divided into certain levels, at which students receive the appropriate initiations and initiations: 1 level of reiki, 2 level, 3 rail stage.

For the fastest connection of a person to higher energies, as well as in the process of initiation and initiation ritual, Reiki uses the so-called Reiki symbols (special signs and hieroglyphs). The use of these symbols does not require obligatory meditation or long years of spiritual practice, as many masters in the karuna, usui and kundalini reiki schools claim. Acting directly on the subconscious, these Reiki symbols cause changes in the internal state of a person and thus give him the opportunity to connect to a higher source of energy.

In some Reiki teaching systems, it is believed that symbols can only be activated in a certain way, however, in fact, there are different ways to activate symbols and many Reiki masters and books teach that it is enough just to think about the intention to use these symbols to activate them.

But we will not consider in detail in this article all the principles, foundations and techniques of the Reiki teaching. You can find a lot of information about this on other sites, as well as read in popular books on reiki.

So what is reiki(or reiki) really?

It would seem - a magic pill, effective, without side effects leading to rapid healing.

But is it? Can the energy passing through the hands of a healer be pure, even synthesized from the Cosmos? AND to what consequences in the distant future leads this type of energy assistance, both for clients and for the specialists themselves, reiki masters and any other energy healers? And also, how stable can the result of helping with the application of these healing techniques by the laying on of hands be?

Let's figure it out and in search of answers to these questions we will appeal not to the widespread opinions of various Reiki schools and subjective assessments of the power of Reiki of various treatment methods, but to the physics of energy-information interactions, as to a neutral orbit!

But then we were forced to leave this level and go higher, taking a position of categorical non-interference in extraneous energy systems in any way, under any pretext, with any intensity. due to observed side effects, safety violations and the limitations of these energy techniques of help: both reiki and any other method of healing through the laying on of hands.

This article aims to show professionals assisting Reiki techniques and energy healing practitioners, as well as those who are just undergoing Reiki training or seeking to get rid of their diseases in these techniques in the form of a panacea, a much more expanded picture of the world than that which is limited only the level of energy flows.

Diseases, as it turned out, can have a completely different root cause, the roots of which lie at a higher level, in the field of information interactions, and "bad" energy is only their consequence.

First, let's take a closer look limited applicability of healing practices in general, be it reiki or any other system of energy assistance.

The emotional shell is formed due to the “foaming” of the surface of a person’s energy shell when he shows positive emotions: joy, pleasure from any process, etc. Those. the more a person experiences positive emotions in his life, the more volume of emotional shell he has (in metric coordinates).

And the emotional shell, in turn, performs the function of a lens that collects plane-parallel cosmic radiation (in the figure - wavy lines from above) on the human crown. This radiation, collected by the emotional shell, feeds, in turn, the energy shell of a person. And the state of the energy shell directly affects the functioning of organs and systems in our physical body.

And, as a result, one can pay attention (this is also confirmed by independent studies of psychologists and physiologists) that people with an optimistic life position, who often experience joy in their lives, as a rule, are much less susceptible to colds, viral and other diseases than those who is constantly depressed or in a bad mood! The latter simply have their emotional shell “blown away” or completely absent, and their energy shell, not receiving proper nourishment from above, also greatly decreases in size and ceases to protect the physical body from the programmatic impact of various viruses.

This level of protection by the energy shell of our body can be compared by analogy with the Earth's atmosphere, which protects us from solar radiation and meteorites.

Now let's look at the problem through the eyes of reiki masters and energy healers: if a person has little energy (resulting in increased fatigue, CFS - chronic fatigue syndrome, susceptibility to colds, etc.), then this person needs to raise his energy level by saturating his energy shell with “clean” cosmic energy transmitted through the hands of the healer. And now from all of the above, think about what is wrong here? What is Anti-Natural? From the point of view of Nature, in this case, diseases in a person arise only because of his incorrect, namely “pessimistic” and, possibly, aggressive position in life!

Nature thus encourages him to simply change his attitude towards the world, shows him that he is doing something wrong if he no longer experiences positive emotions from life. Now further. The form and state of the subtle-material shells of a person (as well as his physical body) is not static, but dynamic, i.e. constantly changing depending on the stresses that a person experiences, on the processes and situation in which a person is.

If we add the 4th dimension to the shells described above, i.e. time (t), then we will get the next subtle object of a higher plane of existence of matter (mental plane) - human memory body(in other words - Soul), which consists of a set of configurations of its shells in each quantum of time from the point of birth of a person to the present moment. In the body of memory all stresses recorded that a person goes through throughout his life. They can be traced by the distortion of the configurations of its shells at certain periods of time.

Therapeutic Techniques of Dr. Usui

Dr. Usui used a series of healing techniques that he combined into an amazing whole (system) of Usui Reiki Ryoho.

Mikao Usui himself, who reached enlightenment, certainly worked intuitively. He touched the diseased areas of the body, massaged them, tapped them, stroked them, blew on them, fixed his eyes on them for 2-3 minutes, filled them with energy in a special way.

Basic rules for using hands

Kokyu-ho - breath healing

We are accustomed to the energy radiating from the eyes, but this technique teaches us to really use this energy. In order to heal, we must first of all relax our eyes and defocus them. Remember that the affirmation should be short, precise and positive. It must be written in the present tense and in the words of the person who uses it and in his native language. It takes time to figure out what a person really wants in life. Our desires often have a deeper meaning, which is not always obvious at first glance.

Instructions for execution:

1) Activate the three energy centers.

2) Place your non-dominant hand (for example, your left hand if your working hand is right) on the patient's forehead (or your forehead) and your dominant hand on the back of the head. Hold your hands for about three minutes while you intensively repeat the affirmation in your mind. Conducting a treatment session

The room should be clean, bright, quiet and well ventilated so that you can relax well in it. If this is not possible, then before starting treatment, you need to clear the energy in the room with the help of Reiki. Even if the room does not meet ideal requirements, do not worry. Have a woolen blanket or bath towel ready in advance in case you get chilly while relaxing. If necessary, prepare some healing music.

Try to wash your hands first.

Reiki Legend and Facts

Legend has it that the founder of the Reiki method at the end of the nineteenth century lived in Japan. He was the dean at Doshisha University and served as a Christian minister.

Three miracles that happened to Mikao Usui

The first miracle that happened to Mikao was that after twenty-one days of penance, he came to his senses and felt extraordinary lightness and strength. He was in a hurry to return to the monastery, stumbled, broke his toe in the blood. He grabbed it instinctively with his hands. The blood stopped oozing, the pain went away.

On the way, he stopped at a tavern. The daughter of the poor owner was crying from an unbearable toothache. Mikao placed his hands on her cheek, the pain was gone, it was the third miracle of the morning.

Over the next seven years, he healed people in the nearby slums, first healing the abbot of arthritis.

But healing only the bodies, Mikao began to look for an opportunity to heal the souls of patients.
