Crafts from plastic spoons: how to make decorations with your own hands (78 photos). What can you make from plastic spoons? Vase of disposable spoons

Useful tips

Often, when we go outdoors and have a picnic, we take plastic spoons with us.

After this, as a rule, there are still many of these spoons left, and they are stored in the cabinet for a long time.

Don't throw away plastic spoons. Even more than that, buy a few more spoons so that you can make a beautiful craft or even several crafts.

Here are some interesting crafts that can be easily made using plastic spoons:

1. Plastic spoon crafts: decorate your kitchen wall

You can use both plastic spoons and stainless steel spoons (as in this example), but it is much cheaper and more logical to use plastic ones.

Acrylic paint

Brush

Glue (superglue)

Wooden tablet.

2. Create a beautiful DIY flower vase using plastic spoons.

2. Use scissors to cut off the top of each plastic spoon.

* It is advisable to first decide how many rows of spoons will cover the jar and how many spoons are in each row. In this example there are 8 rows of 15 spoons.

Today I invite you to make a cute little vase together. A vase of spoons can become an elegant addition to your table or even a lamp if you add a light bulb and a mechanism with a battery there.

Fresh flowers, especially delicate wildflowers, will be a wonderful decoration for an unusual vase. A vase of spoons will decorate and enliven an ordinary bookshelf. Or it will provide soft light at a romantic dinner if you lower a small candle inside. Such a simple thing can be put to good use with a little imagination!

  • It is better to take a glass or plastic jar as a basis. You can cover it with paint.
  • Separately, spray paint the plastic spoons and let them dry.
  • Carefully cut off the handles of the spoons, leaving only the rounded parts that look like petals.
  • It is convenient to use a hot glue gun to glue spoons. We start gluing from the top of the can.
  • Stick layer by layer to the very bottom.

A vase of spoons painted in different colors looks especially beautiful. For example, you can make a gift this way from spoons painted gold or silver.
These bowls look more like artichokes, but the kids call them pine cones!

Making crafts from plastic or disposable spoons with your own hands is a fascinating process, especially if you give in to your imagination. You can use anything, including disposable plastic tableware. Ordinary spoons, which sometimes gather dust in the cupboard for a long time after a summer picnic, can be turned into creative products.

Ladybug

First, we will cut off the handles of the spoons, then we will connect two spoons at the base in the form of a “V”. We will paint these blanks red. We attach a black spoon-body under the red wings.

Spots will appear on the wings according to the age of the ladybug, and legs and antennae will appear from the wire. As a head we will glue the neck of a bottle with a cap, painted with black paint.

Snowdrops

The bud will be made if you glue the pre-cut round parts of spoons, three and four, close together with the side parts, sometimes going one behind the other. The base of the inflorescences can be disguised with green plasticine, imitating a natural stem.

The buds will be attached to L-shaped tubes, so it will turn out that the snowdrops, as in nature, will bend towards the ground. All that remains is to install the bouquet firmly in the pot.

The composition will look interesting if you install a diode in each flower.

Tulips

For these flowers, you do not need to cut off the handles of the spoons, but you will need to wrap their wide parts with red napkins at an acute angle, and the lower parts with green.

Then the blanks are combined three or four into one flower, wide green leaves covering the buds are attached to the stems. The resulting bouquet should also be placed in a vase or flowerpot.

Roses

Flowers made from plastic spoons using this technique turn out to be very natural and can serve as body jewelry in the form of a brooch, pendant or earrings; the main thing is to know how to make crafts from spoons correctly.

To do this, you will need to melt the ends of each petal over a burning candle, sometimes giving a more natural bend with a slight movement of a metal knitting needle.

After making the petals, they are attached together into inflorescences using a hot glue gun and placed on pre-made stems.

Water lily

For the base, we will cut out a beautiful, stable, rounded sheet of cardboard, color it green, glue a smaller sheet with sharp ends onto it, in turn, glue the neck of the bottle with a lid on it onto this sheet.

The yellow tendrils of the flower core, made from yellow chenille wire or a yellow napkin, are glued to this cover. Then, at some distance from the core, we glue the spoons with their bulge outward, slightly pressing them against the sheet.

And so the remaining petals are glued in circles. Using the same DIY DIY instructions, you can cover a squat jar, turning it into a beautiful candlestick.

Shade

As a frame, you can use a five-liter plastic water bottle with the bottom cut off in advance. We cut the petals from spoons in advance and attach them scale-like to the bottle in circles. This blank can be turned into a pineapple by painting the resulting craft yellow and attaching cardboard or plastic leaves to the neck.

It would be original to place an LED garland inside or even hang a figure instead of a lampshade; there are many photos of similar crafts from spoons on the Internet.

Frame

This design of a round mirror or photograph will attract glances and fascinate with a stylish solution. Cut off the round parts of the spoons in large quantities and remove any plastic shavings. Then we will select a cardboard, wooden or plastic round base on which our creation will lie spoon by spoon.

Let's start with the outer circle and glue the entire space to the very middle with spoons with the bulge outward. Use spray paint to paint the resulting circle; you can add a gradient using acrylic paints.

Herringbone

You will need to find a base - a solid wire or a wooden block; a paper cone is made on it. The spoons are cut off from the handle and glued onto the cone from bottom to top, but this time with the convex side inward, creating a bend, like spruce branches. After painting the Christmas tree in the desired color, you can make it festive by powdering it with sparkles and decorating it with tinsel.

Maracas

Place some rice or peas in a plastic chocolate egg, close it and cup it on both sides with two spoons. The entire product is secured with tape or duct tape with prints.

Decorative panel

By creating various flowers from spoons, you can place them on full-fledged paintings, also made from plastic and paper household waste. At the end of the work, the entire product is covered with paint and such a three-dimensional image looks unusual, especially if placed in a massive frame.

It would be appropriate to complement the flower panel with wire insects, natural elements and nut shells. Such a creation is nice to give and receive as a gift; it can be placed on the wall of the house or in the country.

All materials can be given a second life by using them in creativity. Many more amazing inventions can be made from plastic spoons that will delight your loved ones, and their creation can be devoted to special master classes on crafts from spoons at school, kindergarten or workshop.

Master Class. "Vase of disposable spoons".

Mother's Day is coming soon. On the eve of this holiday, I would like to congratulate all mothers, present and future, on this wonderful holiday. Once the holiday comes, it means you will need to give something. And the best gift is the one made with your own hands. I offer original a vase of disposable spoons.

To work we will need a glue gun, a base for the craft, strong thick scissors, disposable spoons. Quantity spoons depends on the size of your base. For the base of the craft, I chose a white large yogurt cup. You can choose disposable cup or metal jar. After all the material has been prepared, you can begin to work.

Cut off the handles spoons, leaving a small tail. It is better to cut the spoon from the reverse side, so cracks will not appear on it.

Before you start gluing the spoons, you must first distribute them over the surface. This is necessary in order to determine the gap between the spoons. Then, using a glue gun, starting from the top, glue the prepared spoons in a circle. Every spoon you need to press down with your finger on both sides (one finger inside the cup) and hold it a little to the spoon is fixed better. This is our first row.

Second row glue the spoon between the top two spoons.

Each subsequent row spoons falls below the previous one by about a third.

And so, row after row until the very end.

Like this the vase turned out. Can be painted vase spray paint, but in my opinion it looks good even in white. All that remains is to put flowers in it and give it as a gift.
