Pink orchids made of beads. A simple pattern for weaving an orchid from beads

The proud and delicate orchid is beautiful as always. This royal flower is loved by many for its unusual beauty. Another step-by-step master class with photos will help you create this beauty in your home. A beaded orchid flower will become a bright accent in any interior. And the creative manufacturing process will bring joy and pleasure even for beginners.

To weave an orchid from beads we will need:

  • Beads No. 10 in three colors.
  • The wire is 0.3mm in diameter and thick for the rod.
  • Threads (floss or iris).
  • PVA glue
  • Alabaster solution and flower pot.

A beaded orchid consists of different petals and sepals. For weaving, you can use beads of any color. I wove from peach and dark pink. First of all, let's start weaving parts for orchid flowers.

Beaded orchid petals

We weave 2 petals.
Take a piece of wire 52 cm, add 4 beads and start weaving.

The petal has a rounded top and a pointed bottom. To get a rounded top, you need to fasten the arc on the axis perpendicularly, and for a pointed bottom, you need to fasten the arc at an angle.

We make 10 arcs (5 turns) using this weave.

Sepals for orchids

We weave 3 sepals.
We take a segment of 45 cm, put 14 beads on the axis, make 6 arcs (3 turns).

Petal–lip

You need to weave 1 large petal and 2 small petals.
We take a piece of wire 45 cm, put 6 beads on the axis and weave 8 arcs (4 turns).

Please note that we weave the petal-lip in two colors.

Now you need to weave two small round petals, we also make them two-colored. We weave according to this pattern: wire 35 cm, put 4 beads on the axis and make 3 turns.

Stamen

Take a 7 cm piece of wire, put 7 beads on it and make a loop, twist the ends of the wire together.

Beaded orchid leaves – 4 pieces

We take a segment of 145 cm, make an axis 10 cm long, put 30 beads on the axis and make 7 turns.

Assembling an orchid from beads

When all the petals and leaves have been woven, we begin to assemble the orchid. We take the lip petal and screw the stamen to it.

We screw 2 small lip petals on the sides.

Now we take the wire and bend it perpendicular to the petals.

Screw on 2 petals.

After we have woven and collected all the flowers, we will collect them into one branch. To do this, you first need to wrap a 2.5 cm wire around each flower with threads using PVA glue.

Now we take a thick long wire and screw the first flower to the very edge.

Then, having wrapped a little thread, we attach the second flower, then the third, and so on all the woven flowers are attached.

Then we wrap threads around the bottom, attach the leaves at the bottom, plant it all in a pot, and fill it with solution. You can see the finished product. This handmade beaded orchid can be an original gift for a holiday or celebration.

Today we will show you how to weave an orchid from beads with your own hands. In the material you will find three different versions of this flower. They contain step-by-step master classes with photos, videos and weaving patterns.

Orchids are extraordinary flowers. They are unique in nature. Today we, too, will become like the creator and try to reproduce this unique flower, together. Read our step-by-step master - class “Do-it-yourself beaded orchid”.

Step-by-step master - class #1.

You will need:

Step 1: weaving the petals of the first row.

In order to start fulfilling your plans, you need to prepare the material for work. Pour white, pink and purple beads into a convenient container. We prepare the first piece of wire for weaving, 50 cm long.

Note! Beads for the first row of petals must be collected in a certain sequence: we collect white beads to the free edge, white + pink in the middle, pink and purple closer to the stem. This is what a real flower looks like and this is what your unique beaded orchid should look like. Master class and photos will make this task easier for you.

Let's get started:

We take a piece of wire in our hands and twist a loop of 8 cm. The remaining short end should have 7-9 cm, and the opposite end should have the entire remaining length of the material.

We collect 13 beads on a short part of the wire - this will be the middle of the petal. We tuck the tip so that our beads do not run away while we collect the second side.

We collect the first row, 14 beads on the long end, we wrap around the short end, and again we collect 14 beads.

We wrap around the lower branch. We do the rest of the rows in the same way, only changing the number of beads to 2 or 3 pieces.

We try to ensure that the element has an oval shape and the beads are pressed tightly against each other. We perform 4 more rows. And we have: 1 middle row and 5 main rows.

We perform 9 more, according to the same scheme. For two large blooming buds.

Step 2: weaving the remaining elements.

We perform the elements of the second row in the same way. We don't change the process.
These petals should be dark in color, in our case purple. Have a round shape. We need six of them.

Then we take yellow beads and make an oval center of the bud. Bend it evenly. We weave 1 more such petal.

We make three unopened buds, each of which should be 3 to 4 beads in a row smaller than the previous one. In each of them we perform only three elements.

We take three large beads and two smaller ones. We thread a wire into each of them and fix the element well.
Here are all the elements of a beaded orchid in size for large buds:

Step 3: collecting buds

To make a beaded orchid for beginners neat and very beautiful, you need to do all the weaving and twisting in a certain order.

First we collect the large buds: three large petals together, then the remaining two.

Then the bead and the middle element.

We twist one purple petal with the previous element.

Then we wrap two more round ones.

Here's what will happen:

Here is the whole flower:

Step 4: fasten everything to the rod.

We take a copper rod or a copper tube (as in our MK). We insert the smallest flower into the hole and tie it to it.

We fasten everything else. If necessary, use additional wire.

Step 5: Wrap the tube with tape.

Now let’s move on to the simplest and final stage of creating an orchid with beads. This step does not require a weaving pattern, because you just need to carefully wrap our branch with ribbon.

What extraordinary beauty it turned out to be! We hope our master class has fully described all aspects of the question “how to make an orchid from beads.”

Create the incredible, strive for improvement and be sure to try to weave others. Good luck!

Do you want beautiful delicate flowers to delight you with their beauty all year round? Then read our second master - a beaded orchid class for beginners with photos.

An orchid is such an erotic and passionate flower that you will never forget if you give it to your beloved woman. But you can also give flowers made of beads, which not only will not be forgotten, but also will not wither. A beaded orchid is an excellent specimen for such needlework, because the range of colors simply amazes the average person.

Below you will find two detailed patterns for weaving an orchid from beads. Master class for beginners, we will consider it open)

Step 1: weave the petals

For our flower we need to make only six petals: three wide and three narrow. According to scheme 1, we will weave 3 narrow elements (the first row consists of 10 beads).

Step 2: collect the flower

Then, according to diagram 2, we will connect the halves to give the petal greater relief. Let's go through the center in the opposite direction and tighten the thread. Let's sew all three parts together, making a connection using the mosaic weaving technique.

Using the same patterns, we will make 3 more wide petals (the first row consists of 14 beads). Then, according to scheme 3, we will braid the edges.

We roll one wide petal into a cone and sew it at the edges. Inside we insert pestles made of beads and larger beads.

We sew wide blanks on top of narrow ones. This beauty can be used as a brooch, hair clip, decorative trim for a bag, etc.

Pattern for weaving an orchid from beads (2nd option)

Such plants, as indoor plants and living decor, are now at the peak of popularity. After all, they fit well into any interior, adding a touch of style, elegance, and modernity. However, requiring special care and blooming once or twice a year, not every amateur can grow them. Therefore, we will create our own beauty. We will do all the work using the French weaving technique. Let's look at how a beaded orchid is woven. Step-by-step photos will help us in difficult places.

Weaving the main parts

It is necessary to make petals:

  • 3 pointed white;
  • 2 large round white ones;
  • 2 pointed orange;
  • 1 triangular orange with antennae.

Step 1: Weaving Pointed Elements

Let's cut a piece of wire about 50 cm long. At one end we make a large loop (at least 4 cm long), which will later be used for attaching to the flower. We put 8 beads on the remaining tip and close them with a small loop. Here's what happens:

Then we make 6 similar rows. The amount of beads is adjustable to form a flat petal.

We twist the base loop with the working end of the wire.

Now let's start making rounded side petals for the orchid from beads. We do not change the weaving patterns. We put 3 axial beads on the wire and go through 10 arcs (5 on each side). We weave the top edge round, like the bottom, bending the wire to the side.

The main part is ready, let's move on to the small central part. We collect 4 orange beads and again weave 6 arcs, sharpening the petal - we get small side petals.

We make a central triangular petal with antennae: we collect 3 orange beads and weave 6 arcs (3 on each side). After each arc, add 1 bead to the axis, thereby lengthening it and giving the petal a triangular shape. We insert a piece of wire into the top bead along the axis, string 12 orange beads on each side. We fasten and hide the ends of the wire. We bend the resulting antennae, giving them a natural shape.

Step 2: flower assembly

When the components of the beaded orchid are ready, let's start assembling. It is important to securely fasten all parts immediately.
First, we will connect the identical side ones and attach a petal with antennae to them from below.
Add a bead to the center, putting it on a piece of wire and fastening it securely.

Now we will attach 2 rounded large white petals to the central part.
And add pointed white ones as the upper central petal and the lower side petals.

Congratulations! We have an orchid flower, the most difficult part of the work is over.
Let's make 3 flowers for our phalaenopsis in a similar way.

Step 3: making buds

In addition, we will need buds of different diameters and colors. We will perform them in the same way. The larger bud will be white, like a flower, and it is about to bloom. To do this, we collect 4 white beads on the axis and gradually increase their number on the arcs. This must be done very slowly so that the bud “twists” into a ball and is not a flat circle. We got 16 arcs, 8 on each side. We securely fasten and cut off the excess wire.
After this, we weave two different buds with a smaller diameter - they will be green.

Step 4: Assembling the peduncle

We connect the resulting parts - flowers and buds - on a peduncle. First, we attach the flowers alternately on one side of the peduncle, then on the other. Then we attach the buds - the closer to the free end of the peduncle, the smaller they are. We decorate the peduncle with green floral ribbon or thread. It is worth noting that it is important at this stage to ensure the strength of the entire structure, otherwise it will be almost impossible to redo anything later.

Step 5: Leaf Weaving

All that remains is to make the leaves. Usually on the stem of a beaded orchid there are 3-5 of them, quite large in size. We will weave 3 sheets using the same French technique. Each sheet will be 1 centimeter different from the previous one. A piece of wire for one sheet will need about 150 cm long. We collect green beads (you can take a mixture of different shades of green to give a mosaic structure) onto an axis 7 cm long, weave 3 perpendicular pieces of wire to reliably connect the arcs to each other and give the sheet the desired shape.

The leaf can be made simple oval, or one end can be made more pointed, or the leaf can be given a triangular shape by adding beads to the axis. We weave oval leaves, making 4-5 arcs on each side of the axis. Don’t forget to fasten each arc with additional wires. We cut and carefully hide the ends of the wire.

Step 6: Final Assembly

The last task is to connect the flower stalk and leaves on the stem. The peduncle should not be attached to the top of the stem, but to its lower part, under the leaf. You can use a piece of electrical cable as a stem (and it is very short and thick in orchids).
We place our beaded orchid in a pre-prepared pot, fill it with gypsum mixture, and decorate the “ground” with brown beads. Carefully straighten the leaves, flowers, buds.

So the orchid with beads is ready! Master class with step-by-step photos, we hope it was useful to you.
Experiment with the color of the flower, the pattern on the leaves, the size of the plant as a whole, and you will certainly get a unique specimen for your collection!

It is difficult to imagine a flower more delicate and beautiful than an exotic orchid. A variety of varieties and colors provide ample scope for creative delights.
The orchid is a rather capricious and difficult flower to grow. And then, a real flower will not be able to please you with lush blooms all year round. A flower created with your own hands has a number of advantages:

  • color, texture, number of flowers can be whatever your heart desires;
  • a beaded orchid does not require special care and can stand anywhere, regardless of drafts and lighting;
  • In beauty, such a flower is in no way inferior to the original and its naturalness can only be envied.

True, to create such beauty you will need to make every effort and effort. But it's worth it!

Master class on weaving orchids from beads

For the first lesson on creating a lovely orchid, we offer a delicate, peachy beauty. A fabulously beautiful flower that requires precise execution of instructions ultimately looks very harmonious and natural. Moreover, for your first bead creations, use the lessons with step-by-step photos and video tutorials. The photo captures only the key moments and the beginning beadworker has as much time as she wants to examine all the details and small elements. The video makes it possible to use only a still frame, in which it is not always possible to examine in detail all the subtleties of the weaving stage. On top of that, the recording quality of the video is often poor. Choose the weaving option that is most convenient for you and get creative.

The beaded orchid is made of five open flowers and four buds. The petals are made using the French weaving technique and look very similar to real petals, so follow the instructions exactly for perfect results. The small leaves are woven from dark green beads, as shown in the photo. Use this detailed master class to weave your very first flower in a pot. Next time for a beading lesson, you can try to make an orchid from beads using your own patterns.
To create such a masterpiece in this master class you will need:

  • beads of five colors: orange, brown, two types of yellow and dark green;
  • yellow beads;
  • thin wire for flowers and leaves;
  • thick wire for the stem;
  • brown threads for winding the barrel;
  • low polka dot;
  • gypsum.

Now we begin the step-by-step creation of the flower. The first stage will be the most painstaking and difficult.
Weaving petals and assembling a flower On a piece of wire about a meter long, you need to make a small loop from the edge and string four beads, and from the other edge twist a larger loop, as shown in the following photos.

We continue weaving our petal. Now you need to string a certain number of beads so that they are in close contact with the first row and no unnecessary gap is formed between them. Next, make 3 arcs on each side. In total, together with the central row, we will have to get seven arcs. View a photo of the finished petal, on which you can easily calculate the number of rows.

After we have finished weaving the petal, the tip of the wire will need to be wrapped around the loop a couple of times. Now you need to seal the wire. To begin with, you need to unwind a small loop and straighten the wire, and twist the large loop so that a leg is formed. Next, we turn the wrong side of the petal towards us, bend the top wire and insert it into the row of the petal that is in the center. Trim the tip. As a result, we get a beautiful petal, as in the photo:

In order to make one flower, you need to continue weaving four more of the same petals according to the same pattern. It is also necessary to prepare one stamen from large yellow beads, one stamen with smaller yellow beads, as well as small petals that will be located in the center from brown beads. The two side petals should consist of two pairs of arcs with a central base of eight beads. The petal, which will be in the center, includes four arcs on both sides with a central row of 6 beads.

We begin the process of assembling the flower according to the following scheme:

  • twist the brown petals together (this will be the middle of our orchid flower);
  • twist 5 orange petals together;
  • We insert blanks of two types of stamens into the center;
  • We tightly wrap all the parts with another piece of wire, thus forming the stem of the flower.

In total, we prepare 5 flowers for the orchid using the same principle.
Making buds for an orchid from beads To make a bud we will use orange beads, one round yellow bead and wire. We also make the bud according to the pattern using the French weaving technique, just like our petals, but with a slight difference, which is that on the wire we will have to collect three beads and make one pair of arcs on each side.
Now, in order to prevent us from getting a flat-shaped petal, we will need to give it a cup shape. This is done as follows: the next pairs of arcs need to be made one bead less and tightened tightly. It turns out that the beads will bend on their own, forming a depression of the convex shape we need, as in the photo:

The first half of the bud should consist of 6 pairs of arcs and one central row. Next we continue weaving the second similar half. The resulting blanks need to be twisted together and a yellow bead inserted inside. We sew the edges of the bud with wire.
For an orchid branch we make four such buds.
Let's weave leaves Let's do the greens. Weaving is done using green beads and wire. The leaves for this orchid have a similar weaving pattern, as do all the details. We take thicker wire, since we will need a larger amount of beads here than for the petals, and accordingly their weight will be greater. The piece of wire should be about one meter.
We weave three leaves about 11, 13 and 15 cm in length, respectively. The central rows will have a base in the first version - 9 cm, in the second - 11 cm and in the third - 13 cm. All our leaves consist of six pairs of arcs, i.e. three arcs on each side and one central row. At your discretion, you can make the leaves a little larger so that the orchid does not look “naked”.

If you look at the photo, you will notice that the leaves are stitched with green wire in some places. This was done to prevent our leaves from falling apart. The seams pass in several places, and the stitching itself is barely noticeable, thanks to the wire selected to match the beads. The ends of the wire need to be hidden in nearby beads, and the excess ends should be cut off.
Formation and decoration of a flower We make a stem from two pieces of thick wire of different lengths.
We wind the thick wire tightly with a thin one, bending the ends in the shape of legs. The length of the legs depends on the diameter of the pot or cache-pot. In which the orchid will be fixed.
Secure the flowers and buds evenly on the trunk using wire, the buds should be on the top of the head.

Leaves are attached at the very bottom of the stem, as seen in the photo. It is important to distribute the sheets around the perimeter of the stem so that the rosette looks neat.
Now use brown threads to decorate the stem of our orchid. Wrap the stem so tightly that the wire is not visible.
In order to secure the flower tightly in the pot, you will need plaster. You can put pebbles and pieces of old clay pots at the bottom of the pot. The gypsum mixture is poured into the pot almost to the top so that the finished composition is stable. The flower itself must be wrapped so as not to get dirty with plaster.

The master class is almost complete and all that remains is to make the finishing touches. Paint the surface of the dried plaster, straighten the leaves and petals and place this example of flawless DIY beading in a very visible place. Such a gorgeous flower will not leave anyone indifferent. If all the elements are done correctly and the material is of good quality, the result will be stunning.

Orchid mosaic pattern

You can also make an orchid from beads using the mosaic weaving technique. To do this, it is best to use the following schemes:

Scheme No. 1
Scheme No. 2
Scheme No. 3

According to scheme No. 1, you need to weave 3 narrow petals, stringing ten beads first. Next, go through the center and braid additional beads (diagram No. 2), now you need to go back and tighten. As a result, our leaf will turn out to be embossed.
At the next stage, you need to sew the petals, connecting the edges, as in mosaic weaving.
We begin to weave wider petals, by analogy with narrow ones. The only difference is that at the beginning you need to string 14 beads, according to diagram No. 2. Go through the center and weave in additional beads. We go back and tighten it.
One of the petals needs to be folded and sewn over the edge.
Weave the edges of wider leaves according to diagram No. 3. All that remains is to connect the petals by alternating wide and narrow pieces. You can attach a clasp and use this wonderful orchid as a brooch.

In order to master the art of bead weaving, you need to become familiar with some of the subtleties of this process, techniques that allow you to achieve one or another visual effect. The combination of different sizes and colors of beads allows you to get interesting images; you can even make flowers from beads that are hardly distinguishable from real ones.

The easiest way to learn beading is through video tutorials. The master will tell you step by step and clearly show all the steps you need to do to get an amazingly beautiful flower. You just need to carefully repeat everything after the instructor. If desired, each word and action can be listened to several times until you master the technique properly.

Purple orchid

To get a beaded orchid, you will need several types of multi-colored beads, 8 mm glass beads and a wire on which all this will be strung. Three pairs of arcs are created from purple beads, from which a flower petal is formed.

The petal is edged with white beads. In total, an orchid will need 14 such petals and 21 petals of a simpler type. The inner petals are made in the same way, but from beige beads. The center of the flower is made from a bead, to which prepared petals are attached in a certain sequence.

Video lesson:

Pink orchid

The materials to weave an orchid will require the following:

  • beads mixed with cutting in green, yellow, red and pink colors;
  • adhesive plaster;
  • floral tape;
  • green wire for leaves, half-millimeter hard wire;
  • triple cable for flower base;
  • tools - scissors and pliers.

Any orchid flower consists of five petals, for each of which a detailed story is given about the technique of their creation. There can be five or nine flowers in total, or any odd number. The core of the flower is made of yellow large beads No. 6.

Video lesson:

Blue orchid

To make a blue orchid, we will need dark and light blue beads, green, orange and yellow, green, gold and silver wire, thick wire for the stems, threads, glue and plasticine. Weaving is done in the French style.

The instructor talks in detail about all stages of work: by repeating the movements, you can hone them to the point of automaticity. The five blue petals of the flower are different, and each requires a different number of beads. The stamen is made of yellow beads; a yellow bead is fixed in the center. All parts of the flower are connected to each other.

Video lesson:

Orchid Cymbidium

To make a beautiful beaded orchid with your own hands, you need to prepare beads of four colors - yellow, white, light red and dark red, 0.3 and 0.4 mm wire, wire cutters and pliers. First of all, the red petals of the orchid are formed, the whole procedure is shown down to the smallest detail.

The petals are different, and each requires a certain amount of beads. One of the petals, the largest, is variegated; yellow, white, and red beads are used in it. The core of the flower with stamens is made separately, which are then attached to the petals. In addition to flowers, you can also make buds.

Video lesson:

Homemade orchid

The video shows in detail how you can create a beautiful beaded orchid with your own hands. We start knitting with long green leaves. Each of them is formed from several wires on which green beads are placed. Flower petals are formed from pink beads.

The three petals are twisted together, after which the two upper petals and the middle are attached to them, the base of which is a larger yellow bead. The pink petals also form flower buds. The wire where the flowers are attached can be wrapped with green tape. Buds and blooming flowers look natural.

Royal orchid

To create a composition of orchid flowers, the following materials were used:

  • two-color beads – white and pink;
  • white half-centimeter beads;
  • green beads for leaves;
  • adhesive plaster and floral tape;
  • durable electrical wire for attaching flowers;
  • millimeter-thick wire for making leaves;
  • When weaving, wire 0.4 mm thick was used.

The flower has five white petals and a pink center. All steps to create petals are shown in detail in the video and commented in detail. The French weaving technique was used.

Video lesson:

Golden-white orchid.

Orchid petals have different sizes, so for each flower you will need to weave three oblong petals and two round petals. The oblong ones are made around an axis with 12 white beads, around which six arcs are formed. In the center of the round petals there are three beads, around which seven turns must be made.

The middle part of the orchid is knitted from golden beads and consists of three small petals. These petals curl together and join the lower, white petals. The finished flowers are attached to a wire that acts as a stem.

Video lesson:

Blue orchid

You are offered a master class on creating beaded flowers. Each orchid flower contains several types of petals. The main ones are made 4.5 cm long with blue and transparent beads. Four turns are made around the base. There are three petals in total. The two larger leaves have five arches around the middle.

Their length is the same - 4.5 cm, but the shape is more rounded. The largest petal is made of beads of two colors - blue and white, which are located around the base in seven rows. The core of the flower is a large white bead and a petal made of four arcs of white beads.

Video lesson:

Mosaic orchid, part 1

A beaded orchid made with mosaic weaving looks amazingly beautiful. Each flower petal and its center are made separately and then sewn together. All petals are made of white beads, and only when they are sewn together can their edges be trimmed with a golden fringe of golden-colored beads. You can make flowers in other colors, for example, pink with red edging.

The beads for the edging are taken a number smaller than the one from which the petal itself is knitted: this way the flower will take on an elegant look. The consumption of the main beads per flower is 10 grams, and the edging beads are 5 grams.

Video lesson:

Mosaic orchid, part 2

In this lesson, we will explain in detail how to make an orchid from beads using mosaic weaving, with a golden edging of the petals. If you carefully listen to the instructor’s instructions and repeat all his actions after him, you can master complex mosaic weaving, which is more complex, but also more beautiful than the usual formation of petals with beaded arcs.

It tells how to get a beaded petal fabric interspersed with beads of a different color, for example, gold on a white background or red on a pink one. The finished petal is folded in half and stitched, which makes it possible to obtain the central part of the flower.

We will make such a beautiful orchid

And so for work we need

.Czech white beads No. 10 - 50 g,

.Czech crimson beads No. 10 - 20 g,

copper wire 0.3 mm,

3 beads

let's get started, first let's see what an orchid flower looks like when disassembled

and so to weave an orchid flower we will need to weave

3 pointed petals, with central Axis with 8 beads and 8 arcs,

2 semicircular large petals, with a central Axis with 3 beads and 12 arcs,

the central tongue consists of 2 small petals with Axis 4 beads and 4 arcs, and a triangular petal with antennae, with Axis 3 beads and 8 arcs.

this is what it looks like

now everything is in order, let's figure out what it is axis And arcs

take a piece of wire 50 cm and make this basic loop for weaving a petal

I noted in the photo Axis, this piece of wire will be in the very center of our petal and depending on the number of beads strung on Axis It depends on what size the petal will be. In our case Axle 8 beads, string the beads and make a loop at the end

now what is it arc, in the photo on the right there is a piece of wire, it is longer than Axis, and it is on this segment that we will string the rest of the beads. Arc- this is a segment with beads until it intersects with half Axles

in the photo you can see one arc, now we need to secure it to Axles, to do this we make a loop around Axles

since we have a pointed petal, the wire needs to be bent downwards

fasten the second arc in the same way from below Axles, but towards the side, since the bottom of the petal is round.

For a pointed leaf, the wire is lowered towards the bottom, and for a round leaf, to the side.

now we do 8 arcs, four on each side

look to Axis always been straight, otherwise the petal will be crooked

this is the underside of the petal, the remainder Axles cut and fold from the wrong side

We also make 2 of these petals.

Now you need to make 2 semicircular large petals, for this we type for Axes 3 beads and make 12 arcs, 6 on each side. Remember to follow the direction of the wire when attaching to the Axle.

wrong side

now we need to weave 2 small pointed petals from the central Axis with 4 beads and 4 arcs

Then we make the last central petal, from the central Axis with 3 beads and 8 arcs.

There are two features in the weaving of this petal, since it is slightly triangular, we do it as usual, but after each attachment to the Axis we insert one bead

after we have woven 6 arcs, 3 on each side, we will make the petal look triangular, for this we string 9 beads and pass the wire through the 8th bead in the opposite direction

after that we string the remaining beads and fasten them at the intersection with Axis, Then we do the same thing downward, that is, collect 17 beads, pass the wire through one bead, select the required amount of beads and attach to the Axis.

now the final touch, let's attach the antennae, for this on top Axles from the inside we fasten a piece of wire bent in half

we string 16 beads on each segment and fasten them by threading the wire into the beads downwards

twirl our mustaches

Now let's start assembling our orchid

take our smallest petals and attach them to the central petal

take the two largest petals and twist them together

then we take the central assembled petal and screw it to the large petals

Well, drum roll))) we take 3 pointed petals, first screw the two lower ones, and then the 2 upper ones

take a bead, thread a wire through it and place it between the small petals

So my master class has come to an end, I hope it was useful to you.

This “dendrobium-phalaenopsis” is blooming in my house, I saw this color of beads - and couldn’t resist buying it, then I found a photo of the inspiration flower and, looking for a long time at the girls’ work and the living flower, I wove it.... I wove the middle according a photo of a living flower, of course, beads cannot convey all the transitions of shades.... But I tried!!! Thank you everyone for your attention and inspiration!!!

Making a flower

1. The flower consists of three elongated petals, two wide petals and a “lip”.

For elongated petals, we string twelve beads - this is the central frame (Fig. 8, 9). We weave twelve rows around using a circular technique - this is the top and bottom of the petal. For one flower you need to make three such petals.

2. For wide petals, we string three beads - a central frame, fourteen rows around, the top is rounded, the bottom is pointed (Fig. 8, 9). For one flower you need to make two such petals.

Make specks of dark red beads on all five petals from the base to the middle, symmetrically alternating three white beads and one dark red.

3. “Lip” consists of five parts: three petals and two tubes.

3.1. Two identical petals are made of pink beads. The central row is four beads, there are eight rows around. The top and bottom are rounded. In the upper part, before the penultimate and last rows, string one bead on the central wire.

3.2. The lower petal of the “Lips” is also made of pink beads. The central row is six beads, with ten rows around. To extend the petal, add two beads to the central wire before the penultimate and last rows, as in the previous paragraph. We make the central row and the next six dotted, alternating two pink and one dark red beads.

3.3. For the bottom tube, we string twelve dark red beads, make four rows around it, connect the bottom and top wires, and twist.

3.4. We make the upper tube with parallel weaving: seven rows of seven beads each, connected into a tube.

We connect in the following sequence: three elongated petals, two wide petals, three pink “lip” petals, two tubes. We twist all the wires and wrap them with light green threads for six to seven centimeters.

Making leaves

Since the leaves are large and very heavy, it is better to weave them using parallel weaving (Fig. 10a, b).

In total you need to make five to six leaves. Each sheet consists of two parts, with a strip of two dark green beads running down the center. The first row is made of five beads. In each next row we add two beads until there are twenty beads. Twenty beads is the middle. From the middle we begin to decrease in the same order as we added. Using the diagram in Figure 106, we weave the second symmetrical first half of the sheet. We connect the stem of the leaf to the stem and wrap it with green thread for six to seven centimeters.

Assembling an orchid as a whole

There can be three to seven flowers on a peduncle. Attach the flowers with the stems already wrapped to the stem at a distance of three to four centimeters from each other.

Wrap the rod with the flowers attached with dark green threads.

Place plaster of Paris, soaked to the point of plasticine, in a flower pot or vase. Stick a peduncle in the center and place leaves around it. Let the plaster harden. Slightly tilt the stem of the peduncle at the top, straighten the petals and leaves. Give your orchid a natural look.

Step-by-step master class “Orchid Bead” of beaded orchids.

I love orchids very much, this is one of the most important reasons why I decided to have this cute flower in my home.

First you had to choose a color, type and variety from hundreds of varieties. And finally I decided, I really liked the branch of a pink orchid with round petals, but I didn’t have such beads, but there were a lot of soft orange ones and then I had to combine a pink and orange orchid to weave something alternative.

Detailed and clear job description

Necessary materials:

Orange beads No. 10
- brown beads No. 10
- yellow beads No. 10
- yellow beads No. 6
- copper wire 0.3 mm

Let's start weaving petal using the French flower weaving technique. Cut a wire about 50 cm long. Make a small loop on one edge, pick up 4 beads and twist a large loop on the other side as shown in the photo.

Weaving a petal, collect so many beads so that they fit tightly to the first row and do not create extra space. Make three arcs on each side. Taking into account the central row, you should end up with 7 arcs. See the photo below, you can clearly see how many rows there are on the petal and it’s easy to count.

When the petal is ready, wrap the end of the wire around the loop several times.
It's time to seal the wire. First, unwind the small loop, straighten the wire (see photo below). Twist the bottom large loop to get a leg. Turn the petal to the wrong side, bend the top wire and straighten it into the central row of the petal, and cut the end. This is how you get a neat petal!

For one flower you need to weave 5 identical petals, 1 stamen with a large yellow bead, a stamen with two small yellow beads and central small petals made of brown beads. Two side panels consist of two arcs and a central row of 8 beads, and the central petal consists of four arcs (2 on both sides), and the central row of 6 beads.

To assemble a flower, first twist the middle of the flower together, then twist the five petals together and insert the middle into the center and tightly wrap these parts with additional wire, forming one flower stem. Weave just 5 orchid flowers to create a composition.

2. Orchid flower bud

For this bud you will need:

Orange beads No. 10
- round bead 6 mm yellow or to match the color of the beads
- copper wire 0.3 mm

We weave the bud using the same French weave as the petals earlier, but with a little trick! We twist the wire, collect 3 beads, make one arc on each side.

Now comes the most important part! In order to get a cup and not a flat petal, you need to make the subsequent arcs shorter by the bead and tighten it tightly. The beads will have nowhere to go and will bend, creating the necessary convex shape.

One half of the bud consists of 6 arcs and 1 central row. Weave a second one of the same kind, twist their legs together, insert a bead and sew the bud with wire. I needed 4 of these buds.

To weave a leaf you need to take:

Green beads No. 10 or No. 8
- wire 0.5 mm or 0.6 mm
- green wire 0.3 mm

To weave long and rather large orchid leaves, I used much thicker wire so that it could hold the shape of the leaf under the weight of the beads. I needed a piece of wire that was quite long, at least a meter!!! I wove three sheets 11cm, 13cm and 15cm long. My central row was 9cm for the first, 11cm for the second and 13cm for the third. Each sheet consists of 6 arcs, 3 on each side and plus a central row.

To prevent the sheet from falling apart, it must be stitched. In the photo above you can see that the seam goes in two places, it is almost invisible because I used green wire. I hid the ends in nearby beads and cut off the excess.

4. Assembling and planting an orchid

Necessary materials:

Wire 1mm in diameter
- brown thread
- plaster
- water
- pot
- newspaper
- watercolor paints
- some land

We take a thick wire and wrap orchid buds and flowers to it with additional wire. To hide the wire, wrap the trunk with brown floss, and do the same with the second orchid branch.

Now line the sides of the pot with crumpled newspaper to avoid cracks. Dilute the plaster with water, achieve the consistency of sour cream and pour it into the pot. While the plaster is still wet, stick the flower and leaves in and hold them for a while until the plaster hardens. If you did everything correctly, then in about 15 minutes you will be able to decorate the surface of the plaster. I took dark brown watercolor paints and painted white plaster. Sprinkled a little earth on top.

Since orchid flowers are quite heavy, you can support them with a stick or make a support from thick wire.

Finally everything! Your orchid is ready to decorate your home and delight the eyes of everyone around you. I wish you pleasant crafting and your own ideas!
