And with the right hand, the adult easily runs the index and thumb along the spine from top to bottom. In response to stroking, the child straightens his back. Then the adult holds the baby’s head with his right hand and lays him very carefully on his back (and not on his side). We do it once a day.

Second phase. For children 8 months and older. The child is lying. With one hand, the adult holds his knees on the table. With the other hand he gives the child a ring. Exercise 1. The baby sits cross-legged with the support of an adult. The adult runs his fingers along the baby's spine. This movement encourages straightening of the back.

Exercise 2. The child sits in the same position and is supported by an adult by the shoulders. An adult takes the baby with his right hand by the right shoulder from above, and with his left hand by the left shoulder. And pulls the child’s arms and shoulders back. Exercise 3. The child sits cross-legged. Mom supports him under the chest or by the shoulders. Gradually, the intensity of adult support decreases.

Exercise 4. The child sits with straight legs facing an adult. An adult holds the baby by the arms, which are spread apart. An adult rocks the child forward, backward, sideways, diagonally. Exercise develops stability and a sense of balance.

Exercise 5. Vanka - stand up. This exercise encourages you to rely on your arms when sitting. The starting position is the same. The adult slightly rocks the child from right to left. When the tilt is made to the left, the adult releases the baby's left arm, stimulating the child to lean on the hand. When a tilt to the right is made, the adult releases the baby’s right arm, this causes support on it.

Exercise 6. Where is the toy? This exercise teaches you to turn your body while sitting. The child sits on the edge of the table with his legs dangling. An adult places a toy on the table next to him (at a distance from the edge of the table) and encourages him to pick it up. To grab the toy, the child needs to turn the body to the side. Then the adult puts the toy on the other side. Place objects at different distances from the baby.

Exercise 7. Take a toy.

He, leaning on his hands, gets up from a lying position. This suggests that the baby needs special classes so that he begins to sit independently at 7 months.

The baby can easily rise to sit from any position. He confidently makes the necessary movements and actively changes his position.

There is no specific age at which a baby must sit. It is possible to teach a child to sit, but if he succeeds two months later, then this is also a normal indicator. It is important to remember that the baby should not be kept in a sitting position for more than an hour. If he is unable to perform such an action, it is strictly forbidden to carry him in a stroller while sitting for a long time.

His head should lean back slightly, and the muscles of his back and buttocks should tense.
  4. Memorizing the position. Repeating any exercise allows the child to remember the movement.
  5. Perseverance training. It is important to develop this quality in your baby, so he will quickly remember all the necessary movements.
  6. Tilts. They help the baby learn to maintain balance. Bends forward and to the sides should be included in your exercises.
  7. Water procedures. To teach a child to sit correctly, it is necessary to evenly train the muscles of the whole body, and this is only possible in water. In this case, the load on the spine will be minimal. If possible, you can sign up for the children's pool. If not, then do water gymnastics at home in the bathroom.
