With a small foam sponge, apply on the bottle, between the bunches of lilies of the valley, at first a light yellow color.




Then, with a green tint, draw shadows around the lilies of the valley (the location of the shadows should match the napkin pattern).




When the background painting is dry, varnish the entire decoupage with several layers of acrylic varnish.




If there are some wrinkles on the glued fragments, sand them with sandpaper.




To make decoupage "Silver Lily of the Valley" you need to use silver glitter. Apply small dots of glitter to each lily of the valley bell and wait for it to dry.




On top of the silver bells, apply a transparent gel contour. After it dries, the bells will become voluminous and shiny from the inside.




You can also varnish a bottle of champagne in several layers. However, make sure that the varnish does not level the surface. Small bells of a silvery lily of the valley should stand out on the bottle by volume.




Tie a satin bow around the neck of the bottle to match the color of the painting.

We will do decoupage using the file method. Thanks to him, the napkin will stick without wrinkles, which is especially important for large fragments. We put the torn drawing, image down, on the file. Pour about 20 ml of water on it (maybe more), you need the napkin to float in a puddle of water. We smooth the paper with our fingers, right in the water, do not be afraid, it will not tear.




When all the folds and wrinkles are leveled, drain the water from the file by lifting it over the edge.




Turn the file over and attach it to the bottle so that the napkin fits snugly on the painted surface.




Wrap the file tightly around the bottle, using your hand to squeeze out air bubbles and excess water.




Gently by the tip, begin to lift the edge of the file so that the napkin remains on the bottle. The file is removed, and the wet cloth lies flat on the surface, without a single wrinkle.




Now coat on a wet napkin top with acrylic varnish. Since the napkin may fall off after the water dries, the varnish will stick it securely.




After the varnish has dried, you will see that your fragment is glued perfectly evenly. Choose the paint that would suit this decoupage gift for mom. This napkin needs a gray background, because there was also gray around the tulips. Mix white acrylic with silver to create a shimmery gray, and use a foam sponge to spread the paint all over the champagne. Slightly cover the edges of the glued napkin with paint so that the composition “blends” into the background.




To finish decorating the champagne, spray it. Choose the right colors of acrylic paints: silver, red, lilac.




First spray with pure silver. Dip your toothbrush into the paint and run your finger along the bristles to get drops onto the bottle. Gray goes well with pink, so you can mix red and lilac for a cool lilac pink and make a second layer of spray.




You should get drops of different diameters and shapes, but the combination of tones in this case will be perfect.




Since the glued fragment of the napkin does not look like a picture, but a real photograph, you should not do a painting, so as not to spoil the classic decoupage. I allowed myself to make a voluminous bow that was tied around the bouquet and circled it with pink glitter. I also put shiny dots around the foil to ennoble this line.




Most importantly, do not forget to apply several layers of acrylic varnish on decoupage after all the paints have dried.

  • Chocolates - in this example, 48 pieces were used.
  • Strong glue, hot glue or a glue gun.
  • Raffia fibers. This material can be easily purchased in the flower department, because it is often used by florists.

In addition to raffia, you can use burlap or ribbons to decorate the top of the bottle as you wish.

At the initial stage, orange-colored paper should be cut into 7 * 7 cm squares.

It is advisable to start gluing candy decor from the bottom and tightly to each other. Each subsequent row should be placed in a checkerboard pattern.

Then it is worth preparing 7-8 blue ribbons, equal in size, and arrange them in the same way - with a seam back.

As a result, a not very beautiful seam may form on the back of the bottle, but it can be easily covered. In this case, using a clerical knife, it is necessary to make a slot, into which then the end of the tape must be inserted.

Moisten the end of the blue ribbon with glue a little, and then push it into the slot.

Then you should pay attention to the middle of the bottle, there will be an uncovered place. And just there you need to attach another piece of ribbon of a golden hue. The corners sticking out in front need to be cut off.

After all the manipulations, you can also decorate the front side of the bottle - decorate with bows, lace, beads, etc.

1) Since a small handkerchief was chosen, it must be specially prepared for decoupage. We tear the napkin in half, the edges should be precisely torn off unevenly, and not cut off. (Photo 2)

2) We also cut off the side edges of the napkin. We separate a small piece from the second half, make uneven edges, so that later during decoupage it will be beautiful to combine them (due to the fact that the napkin was small - its length is not enough to wrap the bottle completely). (Photo 3)
