Light waves on long hair are created using tight braids. This method is one of the most gentle. For short hair, the braid method is not suitable, since you are unlikely to be able to braid an acceptable pigtail.

First of all, apply a little mousse to the still damp curls and comb them thoroughly. After that, braid them into one or more braids (the thicker you braid the braid, the larger the curl will turn out).

In the morning, the pigtails should be carefully untwisted. As a result, light and natural waves will flaunt on your head. If you like, style your braid into a bun for an even better wave.

Rags

First, let's make homemade "curlers" from rags. Old and unnecessary nylon stockings or tights will do. They are cut into strips 2-4 centimeters wide. Each such segment must be pulled by the edges so that the fabric can curl up.

Everything, with curlers figured out. It's time to start prepping your hair. Wash your hair and dry it (preferably with a towel), but leave your hair slightly damp before curling. Next, divide them into strands, trying to keep the same thickness.

Lay the tip of the strand in the middle of the so-called bobbin. Holding the area just above the middle, wind the hair up to the ends, then tie the edges of the cloth into a tight knot. It is recommended to wind each strand not clockwise, but against it.

After you have processed all the strands, tie a scarf on your head and walk like this from 3 to 5 hours (the number of hours depends on what result you need).

If you want to get wide and dense waves on your hair, then the strands should be wound thick. When the time is up, carefully remove your makeshift curlers, comb the curls with your fingers and lightly spray them with varnish.

Wet wipes

The next method is a modern variation of the rags that were popular with our grandmothers. You will need a damp cloth (preferably unscented), which you need to stretch into a flagellum.

Comb wet curls and separate them into several strands, then wrap each of them around the center of this napkin with a ring and tie the ends into a knot. Wait for the hair to dry completely, unwind all the napkins and carefully disassemble the resulting strands with your fingers.
