Here it is the long-awaited descent! Finally, in a few days, you will be by the sea. The tickets are on the table, the depilation is done, the suitcase is packed. Only with the latter, a small hitch turned out, because almost half a closet migrated into the suitcase and it does not want to close at all. You even sat down on it, in the hope that the zipper still deigns to fasten. I think that this situation is familiar to many. Not really straining, you just dump all summer things into a suitcase, reassuring yourself that your burden does not pull, and, in general, you never know what you might need. And this, despite the fact that you are going for only ten days. As you may have guessed, the approach is absolutely wrong and requires a revision not only of the suitcase, but of yours as a whole. You can look stylish and different every day with a minimum number of things. How? That is what I am going to tell you. I confess that this topic should have been discussed at the beginning of May, perhaps many have already spent their well-deserved vacation. But if you are not one of them, then my material today will be extremely useful to you.

Before we get straight to the clothes, let's look at the main criteria for choosing clothes for the holidays:
Cut and Silhouette: the main thing here is comfort and convenience. Clothing should not restrict your movements. This does not mean at all that I advise you to dress in shapeless hoodies, but tight silhouettes will also not be the best option. Try to find a middle ground.

Color: choose a few colors from your palette that go well with each other. So it will be easier for you to create harmonious images. I recommend leaving dark colors for the winter.
Textile: the best choice would be, of course, natural fabrics, they allow the body to breathe, absorb and evaporate moisture well, and when in contact with the body, they cause pleasant sensations. These materials include linen, silk, viscose and cotton. Although I would like to correct the latter. Despite the fact that it is cotton that is the ideal material for a hot climate, it can hardly be called practical, because it instantly wrinkles and dries for a very long time. Mixed fabrics will help to solve this problem (a small addition of synthetics will not be superfluous).
Well, the most important thing to consider is the compatibility of all your luggage. In other words, every item you pack into your luggage should be paired with at least three more items in your suitcase.

Let's finally proceed directly to the collection of your luggage. The purpose of your vacation is to relax at sea, which means that we will start our training camp with the formation of a beach image, where, of course, the highlight of the program will be swimsuit. Two will be enough for you and it is better if they differ in color and style. You can read about how to choose a swimsuit that is right for you.

Well, everything is clear with a swimsuit, now you need to think about how you will get from your hotel room to the beach. It would be nice to know in advance how far one is from the other. For example, if you plan to stay in a hotel on the first coastline, then a sarong* will be enough. (Sarong is a strip of cotton colored lightweight fabric that wraps around the waist or mid-chest and covers the lower body). And if you have to stomp away, then it would be better to throw something on your shoulders, for example, a tunic. In addition to being ethical, it will help you avoid sunburn, which is clearly not part of your vacation plans. In any case, whatever you choose, this item should match both swimsuits.

To complete the beach look, add a few accessories:

Don't forget quality sunglasses. They will not only protect your eyes from the sun's rays, but also help hide the consequences of a fun night the night before from others. Naturally, you will need them not only on the beach.

More or less sorted out with the beach image. I doubt very much that your entire vacation will take place along the route hotel-beach-hotel. Surely you will want to get acquainted with the nearby attractions, stroll through the local shops or even just have a couple of cocktails at the bar. So we need some more clothes.

Tops(everything we wear on the upper body) . There should be more of them than “bottoms”, firstly, they will not take up much space in your luggage, and secondly, it is the tops that create a feeling of novelty in the image. Let's stop at five, four of which will be with short sleeves or without them at all, plus one with a long one. The main thing is not to take doubles (similar as two drops of water), otherwise you risk looking the same all the time.

The best option is shorts, a skirt and trousers. Adjust the style and length to your liking. As for jeans, they are certainly a very practical and versatile thing, however, not quite suitable for hot climates and, in addition, jeans will take up more space in your suitcase than light trousers. Dresses. Well, what about the sea without! I advise you to stop at two, but remember that they should differ at least in color and length. For example, you can choose light and dark, or long and short. An excellent option for going down to the sea is a shirt dress - functional, beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable. I recommend leaving an evening dress with sequins, rhinestones and a long train at home.

Outerwear. If you hope that it will not be useful to you, I hasten to disappoint you, it is cool in the evenings even in hot countries. As outerwear, you can take a light cardigan or a denim jacket or shirt with you. I also advise you to get acquainted with the weather forecast, rains in the summer in the southern regions are far from uncommon.

Shoes. This is perhaps the most difficult part - there are so many requirements here. The main criterion is, of course, convenience and comfort. Therefore, I advise you to leave new or unworn shoes at home. In addition, shoes should not be very heavy and occupy the floor of your suitcase, so shoes with thick heels or sandals with a massive platform do not even try to cram them in. Of course, shoes should be tested for durability, because you do not want to run the whole vacation in search of a repair shop. It would also be naive to think that you can find something suitable in local shops. Three pairs of shoes for everything about everything will be enough for you - beach sandals, which we have already packed, comfortable shoes for walking (light ballerinas are ideal) and an evening pair. Accessories. In addition to the beach bag, you will need a small bag that can accompany you both on a city tour and on an evening-night event. Remember that it should match in color and style with your clothes. You definitely don’t need to take a bulky bag “I carry everything with me”. I also advise you to grab a light silk scarf, it can protect you in windy weather or, conversely, hide your coat hanger from the scorching sun. Well, the last one is. A stylish minimum is beautiful earrings and a bracelet. In general, since jewelry does not take up much space, you yourself can decide how much you can take with you. Although, I do not advise you to take your entire jewelry box, it would be a pity if you return without it.

Of course, it is difficult to give universal advice for everyone in one article. Agree that the wardrobe for a sea vacation for a girl of 15-25 years old will be different from the one that a young slender woman of 30-45 years old plans to take with her.

And to make your sandals or “flip flops” universal and fit any set, they can be light beige, soft pink or sand.

Another versatile ensemble is a knitted top and a long skirt with a wrap or high slit. In it you can go to the beach, walk through the coastal shops, sit in a cafe. And with a top in a romantic style, for example, made of cotton with lace, you can make a set for the evening

Beach pants.

For those who prefer trousers and shorts, you can choose from colorful beach trousers, straight or skinny, knee-length shorts or cargo trousers with side pockets. All of them are in perfect harmony with tops, tunics, thin knitwear.

T-shirts.

It is easy to choose bright T-shirts, it is more difficult to determine their number, which you really need to take with you. As a rule, I take three with me: a T-shirt with a beautiful print and short sleeves, a sleeveless T-shirt or a top. They can be made of cotton with viscose.

And another long one, always made of pure cotton, in order to put it on after a shower. Moisturizing body gel with aloe or coconut milk, of course, is always of high quality, but it also needs time to be absorbed. In addition, it is very convenient to relax in it after the hot sun.

A sporty option - you can take a polo shirt for ensembles with jeans and shorts.

Summer blazers.

If you prefer classic style even on vacation, then be sure to take it. It literally goes with everything: shorts and jeans, capri pants, dresses, sundresses and skirts.

You can choose a solid color in white or beige, or in printed fabric, depending on the color scheme of your main items.

The most versatile model is short. It has been in my "vacation" luggage for 7 years now, and replaces a denim jacket, vest or bolero, both on excursions and in the evening. Looks elegant in any ensemble.

Evening dresses for holidays.

Of course, in the evening you want to dress more elegantly, and replace beach shoes with high-heeled sandals or wedges. But taking an expensive evening dress with you is not the best option, unless, of course, you are going to a fashionable resort.

For all other cases, the best choice is a long dress made of viscose, chiffon or jersey, a straight silhouette or a "trapeze", a model with an asymmetrical bottom. Monochromatic dresses are perceived as more “evening”, but those made of fabric with prints will also match a romantic seaside evening.

Such models can be worn with a knitted openwork jumper, with a short jacket without a collar, with a bolero.

A black dress always looks elegant, and on the coast - the same way. It can be a model with a high slit, with lace, an open bodice with thin straps, or with original curly cuts that will showcase a tan.

Marine accessories.

The time spent on the beach cannot be imagined without a wide-brimmed hat, pareo, if desired, a bright chiffon scarf that protects the delicate skin of the neck, and which can be thrown over the shoulders, in addition to the pareo.

Comfortable shoes, stylish glasses that protect your eyes from the bright sun, a voluminous beach bag and a small bag for excursions and cafes - all these little things you also need to remember to take with you on vacation by the sea.

Cosmetics.

You can’t do without cosmetics and hygiene products: sunscreen with SPF factor, and body, shampoo and hair mask, shower gel and milk with aloe after it, lipstick and lip balm.

And the hair removal products that you usually use: before the holidays, it is better not to experiment with new ones in order to avoid skin irritation.

Beauticians recommend not using mascara and shadows during the day, but only in the evening, in order to avoid allergic reactions. It is also better not to use perfumes and toilet water before going to the beach - under the influence of sunlight, age spots may remain.

Knitwear and windbreaker.

On cool evenings, knitwear is indispensable: a pullover, cardigan, long tunic or thin sweater made of cotton yarn or cashmere, they should also fit in your luggage. On possible cool or windy days, a windbreaker, sweatshirt or summer parka, leather moccasins and skinny jeans or skinny jeans will help you out.

Another indispensable thing on the sea coast is a vest. It can be made of raincoat fabric, velveteen, knitwear or quilted polyester. Preferably with a hood. More and more often I began to stumble upon photos of suitcases and vacation sets and decided to make here a selection of vacation capsules that fit into one suitcase (sometimes even into hand luggage).

A good mini-wardrobe for autumn-spring, however, for traveling personally I am confused here by shoes, especially rubber boots - there are not so many places where they will really be needed, and putting heavy hunters, as in the photo, in a suitcase is immediately +2 .5 kg, which, given the limit of many airlines for hand luggage of 10 kg, is already critical.

Another autumn capsule for the week, which should fit in hand luggage. Pay attention to the colors: the capsule is small, but because of the multi-colored tops, it gives a sense of diversity.

Wardrobe for a trip to Europe. A good neutral base, but here it would be better to replace some of the things with brighter ones - otherwise this capsule will get bored very quickly.

A summer capsule in pastel colors is more of a story for a business trip:

A very simple mini-capsule in casual style - you can take this with you on a trip for a week. And again, a great formula: 4 basic looks + an additional layer (sweatshirt and bright cardigan) to diversify the capsule.

The capsule is called "7 winter days", but the number of tops here seems excessive - but for two weeks this is a good option.

Again, questions about color, but here is a good set of things to look quite diverse in style - from completely casual looks with a plaid shirt and sneakers, to formal ones with a little black dress and a complex cardigan (by the way, it can also be worn with boots and sneakers ),

And again the formula: accessories - 5 items, 4 tops, 3 bottoms, 2 pairs of shoes, a bag. A great option for a cool summer or warm spring in the city.

A casual capsule for a vacation by a lake or a cool sea (for example, for spring Crete with a last-minute tour or something similar).

Quite a viable capsule for a vacation in the city, only the second trousers I would take here are just white, beige or pale pink - otherwise it’s easy to miss with a mix of prints, and the dress can be lengthened).

If you are going on a long-awaited trip to the sea, to the sun, sandy beaches and sea breeze, and your suitcase is still not packed and you still have not decided what things to take with you, then this article is for you. What should be the wardrobe for a vacation at sea? How to make it rational, but at the same time different, and at the same time not to carry with you a suitcase of unnecessary things that will remain in it for the whole time of your vacation?

1. Swimsuit

The first is, of course, a swimsuit. Swimsuits should be two, and even better three. They should be different in color so that it does not give the impression that the swimsuit is the same for you.

What color should the swimsuit be?

Classic colors are always win-win in this regard. Blue, Beaujolais, Red, Chocolate, etc. Black is also possible if it suits your color type. A white swimsuit, as well as all light shades, look good only on a tan. Therefore, it is better to wear such a swimsuit when you are already a little tanned or if your skin is initially swarthy.

You can use the shade of your eyes and hair when choosing the color of a swimsuit, it always looks great. For example, if you have chocolate in your appearance - brown eyes, a chocolate shade of hair, then you can take a swimsuit of the same color, it will only emphasize your natural data.

Also always look advantageous, even on non-tanned skin, bright plain swimsuits, and bright colorful options.

My advice: take brighter color variants of your color type to the sea, as in the resort all colors look much brighter than in the city. The bright dazzling sun, the bright blue sky and the turquoise sea - against this background, the less bright colors of clothes, familiar to city life, will look too faded and dull. Therefore, feel free to take things in more saturated, bright colors than usual on vacation.

Next moment. The swimsuit should undoubtedly fit well on the figure, emphasizing its pluses and correcting the minuses.
For example, if you have a dominant bottom and a fairly small chest, then a push-up or a bra shape that looks like a strip will help to visually enlarge it.

If the top dominates in your figure, then it is better not to take this form of swimsuit. In this case, you can break the swimsuit by color, taking a solid top and a colorful bottom. This will visually make the figure more balanced, divert attention from the wide, larger top to the hips.

2. Beach wear

You can go to the beach not only in a pareo. An excellent choice would be a light dress, a tunic made of bright chiffon motley fabric. Thanks to the bright variegated colors, the fabric will not shine through, despite its lightness and translucency.

3. Shorts

Be sure to pack shorts in your vacation suitcase. It can be cotton or denim shorts, short and longer, depending on your figure. It is convenient to move in them, you can walk in them not only on the territory of the hotel, but also go somewhere outside of it. If you plan to visit discos on vacation, then you can put a short dress, a club version, in your suitcase.
