Cat scarf knitting pattern description. Knitted children's scarves, selection. Children's scarves knitted from magazines

Dear needlewomen, probably each of you is partial to warm scarves, which provide so much warmth on frosty and windy days. Sometimes choosing a scarf is not so easy, to say the least - it’s a whole problem! Today's knitting master class is dedicated to creating a stylish and fun scarf with your own hands.

Pay attention to this scarf - by the way, it will not only perfectly complement your child’s winter outfit, but will also be ideal for representatives of the fair half of humanity who love to wear bright, warm down jackets. Similar scarves are sold in large quantities in many stores, but a hand-knitted product cannot be compared with what can be found on the shelves of shops and markets. In order to knit the same scarf, you will need:
- wool of two colors (any),
- white felt,
- shaggy threads (wool “grass” is suitable),
- threads for eyes,
- felt (will be used to create the nose),
- threads,
- needle,
- pins.

The width of the scarf is 10.5 cm, it will be knitted with an elastic band 1 to 1 face to back. Distribution of loops: 1 foot -9 p., chest -7 p., 2 foot - 9 p. We knit the first foot: cast on 7 loops and knit 2 rows, on the 3rd row we add 1 loop along the edges - it turns out - 9 loops , so we knit 13 rows.

We knit the second leg in the same way, cast on the same number of loops.

Now you need to knit all three parts together - make rows:

If you have an idea of how to knit the shoulders of a sweater, then it will not be difficult for you to knit one part of the loops onto another knitting needle (9 sts), now close the middle (7 sts) and first knit one leg (9 sts) , and then the second. We have the scarf itself ready, all that remains now is to tie the head and tail of our cat. If you don’t want to knit a cat, try to create something else - don’t limit your imagination, try knitting the face of any animal.

Now we need an image of a cat - if you have a ready-made one, use it, and if not, then draw a face on a piece of paper. Be guided by the size of the scarf.

Transfer your cat image onto felt:

Now we need to give our cat’s face a finished look: knit small circles of wool and make a circle of felt for the nose.

To make the pupils of the animal, knit brown stripes on the eyes. Cut out of white felt those parts of the cat that stick out on the face - these are the ears, cheeks and chin. Pin the pieces in place and sew them neatly. The mustache must be made from threads (threads are perfect for stitching documents). Make a knot on the inside and a knot on the front side.

Good day, friends!

Want to knit a new scarf? And not quite ordinary, but creative - not like everyone else? Then here's an idea for you - a cat scarf. It can be easily knitted. Well, only if you are not embarrassed that such a cute and beloved animal will, albeit in a purely symbolic form, hang from someone’s neck with an elongated body (just kidding) ...

Ah, and what inventive needlewomen do not come up with! I saw these photos on one of the Western sites and immediately decided to give you an idea (although this idea is not new). Models of such scarves were there without a description, but each needlewoman may well come up with her own “cat”, or try to repeat the ideas from the photo. I don't think it will be very difficult to figure it out. Let's try to do this.

Knitting starts with the paws. Cast on 7 loops and knit garter stitch foot - approximately 20 rows, or 10 “scars” of purl loops. Then we leave the knitting on the knitting needle and from another ball we knit the same foot, only now at the end of the last row we collect on the knitting needle air loops(adjust the quantity yourself depending on how wide the scarf you want to get). To the same row, on the same knitting needle, we attach the loops of the first foot.

Now we knit a scarf of the required length, alternating stripes. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the scarf in this photo is knitted using regular stockinette stitch with edges on the sides made of several garter stitch stitches. But even from the photo it is clear that these edgings do not save the scarf - the insidious stocking stitch still tends to curl up at the edges. Therefore, I would knit it entirely in garter stitch, or with some kind of elastic, or at least 1×1.

At the other end, you also need to knit the paws, only now you need to close the middle loops between them, and also finish each paw separately.

The cat's tail and head are knitted separately and then sewn on. Here the tail is knitted in a circle, and the head and ears are knitted in two halves and sewn. Well, how to embroider a face - everyone can figure that out to their own taste. The claws on the paws can either be embroidered or crocheted (here they are crocheted).

Cat scarf No. 2 – mystical cat with diagonal stripes

This model is more complicated. The paws are knitted more intricately, and the scarf itself is made in garter stitch, but oblique (diagonal) knitting .

In addition, here you can get creative with flowers and the “image” of Mr. Cat. On this scarf, he is terribly mustachioed ... And his tail was reinforced with wire so that he would keep his shape, like a real cat ...

Cat scarf No. 3 – smiling cat in blue tones

This scarf is knitted from section-dyed yarn with a regular 1×1 rib. Unlike the first two models, the paws and head are made voluminous, like soft toys.

The paws are knitted in a circle and lightly stuffed with filler, and then sewn separately to the scarf. And the head is a little more difficult to make than in previous models, because it is more round in shape, and a white muzzle is also knitted on it using the intarsia technique ...

Here, just three cat scarves. But how many performers of such an unusual model, so many different cats can be! After all, everyone sees them differently. I am sure that if you also want to knit your cat scarf, then it will be the only one, inimitable and will be able to bring a lot of joy and pleasure to wear it, especially for children.

Create with joy, my dears, and all the best to you!

Purring creative and fashionable hello everyone!

Spring is coming, my dears. What does it mean? “And that means it’s time to update our spring wardrobe.” Lately, we have been cooking a lot, but today we will not overeat, but, finally, we will do useful creativity!

Find out, how to tie fashionable knitted scarf with cats step by step.

First, look at different scarves made in different colors by several craftswomen. And then I will explain to you how to knit such a fashionable thing.

So, how do you like it? It seems to me that these scarves are suitable for both children and adults (it all depends on the design and colors).

I suggest that beginner craftswomen use the step-by-step option from Irina Lebeva.

Why do I offer this particular option? — Because it is quite original and very simple to implement.

There is nothing complicated here even for a child.

The knitting, as you understand, is super-light: knit - purl, knit - purl.

For those who decide to pick up knitting needles for the first time, I will also leave a training video at the end of the article.

Now let's look at the stages of knitting a scarf.

First we need to knit the fabric itself for our new scarf. Its length depends on the height of the lucky future recipient, for whom the scarf is knitted. I highly recommend that you take appropriate measurements in advance using a tailor’s centimeter so that our accessory does not turn into some kind of skimpy “hanger” or “sticky piece.”

We knit 4 identical rectangles. Then we will sew them, and they will turn into cat paws. And also we will knit 1 more rectangle, but narrower and longer than the previous ones. From the latter we will create one of the most important details - the cat's tail (where would we be without it).

But we will turn such 4 triangles into ears. No, don't worry, our cat won't have 4 ears (although that would look a bit unusual). We will simply sew two parts together so that our ears do not hang like rags, but stand like a “gun”.

This is how the ears will look if the prepared parts are connected to each other in pairs and crocheted around the edges. If you do not know how to crochet, then you can sheathe the edges of the ears with beautiful stitches.

For the head, we need two squares: one is larger, and the second is about two times smaller. From the larger part, we will make a head, and from the smaller one, the convex part of the muzzle with a nose, mouth and ears.

Important: before you start knitting the head, draw both of its parts on paper, cut it out and check how proportionally they will look. The head should not be too small, not too big.

Now we need a needle with a large eye, some filler and a piece of black yarn. With the help of them, we will create the “purring part” of the muzzle.

And this is how we will sew the head itself. Don't forget to sew on our protruding charming ears!

Don't forget about the lower part of the muzzle!

Without eyes and nose, our cat will look strange. They can be crocheted, made from fabric, cut from leather, felt, or you can buy "plastic stuffed toy implants" at any sewing or craft store.

Let's connect all the details together and add the finishing touches: using a thread and a needle in a contrasting color, we will embroider “scratches” on the paws.

And now the promised video about the basics of knitting.

I wish you, my dear friends, to always be fashionably dressed, in accordance with the weather!

I hope you find my advice useful, how to tie fashionable knitted scarf with cats step by step.

material: wool of two colors for the scarf, white felt, “shaggy” threads, threads for the eyes, felt for the nose, and threads, needles, pins.

The width of the scarf is 10.5 cm, knitted with an elastic band 1 to 1 face; wrong side.

Distribution of loops - 1 foot -9 p., chest -7 p., 2 foot - 9 p.

I knitted the first leg - cast on 7 loops and knitted 2 rows, on the 3rd row I added 1 loop along the edges, it turns out - 9 loops - knitted 13 rows.

3.

I cast on 7 stitches on the same knitting needles and left them on the fishing line.

4.

Again, here I pick up the loops and knit the second leg (same as the first).

5.

Without cutting the thread, I knitted all 3 parts together - 4 rows.

6.

7.

At the end - like a sweater, we knit the shoulders - one part of the loops on another knitting needle (9 sts), close the middle (7 sts) and knit a foot (9 sts), finish it and knit the second foot.

The scarf with paws is ready, all that remains is to knit the head and tail.

first I tied her up

8.

Then, I decided to make it from felt (blanks are sold in the store).

We draw it ourselves or take a ready-made drawing (photo) of a cat.

How to determine the size of the muzzle? - traced the outline of the scarf on a piece of paper

9.

I drew a face

10.

cut it out and tried it on a scarf (does everything fit? correct it if something is wrong), transferred it to felt, cut it out

11.

I knitted the eyes, crocheted them in the circle to the desired size and cut off a piece of pink felt for the nose

12.

I sewed it on and embroidered the pupils with brown thread.

I cut out individual protruding parts of the muzzle from white felt (forehead, ears, cheeks, chin and sideburns).

Using scissors, I cut the rectangular edge of the felt at an angle for each piece (only on the front side so that the piece stands out smoothly).

13.

I secured it with pins and sewed it on.

14.

I cut the felt, extended the ears, etc. The photo below is a view from the rear.

15.

I made a mustache from threads that are used for stitching documents. A knot on the inside, a knot on the face and a knot on the end of the thread (I determined the size, tied it and cut off the excess).

16.

I put a little padding polyester on the scarf and positioned the head in such a way that the central part stuck out, and along the perimeter some cut parts overlapped with others and sewed on the head.

17.

I made stripes on the muzzle from “shaggy” threads (I applied the thread and sewed it on, at the end I just cut it off as it would fray a little later).

18.

The head is ready, yes, I also added hairs above the eyes.

19.

Since the “shaggy” yarn has a slightly different shade, I added the main orange color (I secured a piece of yarn in the middle with threads in the right place and fluffed it).

20.

And this is my first scarf (for men) with a knitted head (the eyes are sequins, the nose is embroidered, the beige wool is slightly rolled down).

21.

I looked at the tail length ratio of my cat Vasilisa. The tail is knitted with satin stitch and filled with padding polyester.

22.

I knitted a tail from white and “shaggy” threads, the tip is shaggy (the tail is knitted in the same way as the paws). And I added the main orange color to the tail (you can sew it on like on the muzzle, or you can make it like a brush - which is what I used).

The red tabby cat is ready.

23.

Give a smile and a good mood

You can also make a cat out of this scarf!
