New Year and Christmas are wonderful holidays. New Year's decoration in a country house is a whole ritual that immerses you in the atmosphere of fairy tales and magic. Every person always looks forward to these wonderful holidays and decorates their home with all kinds of New Year's decor. And these pre-holiday chores, which usually begin long before the New Year, are very pleasant.

While decorating a country house for the New Year, you involuntarily immerse yourself in the atmosphere of fairy tales and magic. The main symbol of the New Year has always been, is and will be the Christmas tree. But there is another such symbol - this is a New Year's deer. True, it came to us from the West, but it creates a holiday at home no worse than a Christmas tree.

New Year's decorations for the street are, unfortunately, a rarity here, but there are families who decorate their yard. And very often in the overall composition you can see a New Year’s deer glowing with lights on the street. It looks very beautiful and fabulous.

Of course, you can buy such a festive deer for your home in a store. They are not cheap. Therefore, the question always arises: how to make a New Year’s deer with your own hands? And this is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. As they say, the eyes are afraid, but the hands do!

How to make a deer from wire and garland

So, For the idea of making a figurine we will need:

  • Photo of a deer or a drawing of it. This is necessary in order to determine the correct proportions of the figure.
  • Wire. It must be rigid, about 6.5 mm, so that the structure is stable and does not bend or break.

We start making the deer with horizontal lines. First we create the animal’s spine, neck, stomach and head.

The resulting frame tied with fine wire. First, we stretch equal pieces of wire between the edges of each part, then we stretch the wire perpendicularly, like weaving a basket.

Drawings of the figure's frame can be found on the Internet.

There is an even simpler option - buy a deer frame at a landscaping supply store. They're called frames for topiary. Such frames are used for trimming decorative bushes in the form of various shapes. By the way, after the New Year, the frame can be used for its intended purpose.

So, we already have the frame of the deer. To make it shine with New Year's lights, you need to buy a waterproof LED strip, since the structure will be standing outside (at the dacha) in winter weather.

Now all that remains is cover the figure with this LED strip. Of course, you can also use a Christmas tree garland. This is everyone's choice. Like any creative process, it has no clear rules.

Your DIY Christmas deer is ready. New Year's decoration of a country house with it will become unique and magical.

How to make a deer from foam plastic

The frame of a deer for a summer house can be made, in principle, from different materials, for example, made of wood or plastic. But polystyrene foam will be the most budget option.

In order to make a frame out of it, you need to purchase foam plastic no more than 5 cm thick. Draw the silhouette of a deer on it and cut it out with a knife along the outer lines. If the master does not have artistic abilities, then you can print a stencil, then simply trace it on a sheet of foam.

You can cut out the silhouette using a regular knife. You just need to cut it carefully so as not to break it. It's better to cut into small pieces. And now another beautiful Christmas deer is ready.

The decor here can be used whatever your heart desires. For example, wrap it with a garland or LED strip, decorate it with fabric ribbons or rain, decorate it with tinsel or leave it pure white and tie a bow around your neck.

There are many ideas and options homemade Christmas deer for home decoration. Let's try to make some of them with our own hands.

Christmas tree decoration

You need to twist a piece of wire into two loops. Next, we form deer antlers on the right and left sides of the craft. Now you also need to make two loops on the left, as you did earlier on the right at the beginning of making the toy. Connecting the two parts of the craft, we thread a red bead. The design of the finished Christmas tree decoration can be supplemented with decor by decorating it in any way you like, for example, with ribbons or twigs.

How to make a deer from wire (small size)

To implement this idea you will need:

So, on a piece of paper you need to draw a diagram of a deer, its body and antlers. AND Let's start making:

  1. Using wire according to the diagram, we make a silhouette of a deer in two copies.
  2. Making a couple of horns.
  3. We tightly connect the two body blanks together in the area of the head and tail.
  4. Along the entire frame of the deer we connect the parts at a short distance to form a three-dimensional structure.
  5. We attach the horns to the frame.
  6. We wrap wire around the legs of the figure, creating volume.
  7. We evenly wrap the finished deer with a garland.

That's all. Now this Christmas deer will create a fabulous mood and bring joy to all family members.

How to make a deer with your own hands from film

The animal figurine can be made white, it will be a winter deer. The idea is interesting and easy to implement.

To make it you will need:

  • thick soft wire;
  • pliers;
  • toothpicks or matches;
  • cling film or tape.

We make the frame of the animal from wire according to the diagram. We wrap the deer's body tightly with film. Now you need to make horns from wire and toothpicks and also wrap them with film. Next, we connect the antlers to the base of the deer. Ready!

How to make a New Year's deer from wine corks

Little symbol of the New Year can be made from wine corks.

At the bottom of the cork we attach four corks in the form of legs using wire. We attach a piece of cork in the form of a neck to the top, and a horizontal cork on it. This will be the head. We make eyes and nose from beads and horns from wire. This idea will be useful for those who really don’t like to bother with labor-intensive creative tasks.

Felt craft

Can sew a Christmas tree toy from felt. It's very simple. We draw the silhouette of a deer on a piece of felt, cut out two such copies and carefully sew them together with an even seam and contrasting color threads. You can use a sewing machine. And you definitely need to sew a thread on which the deer will hang. Such felt crafts can be completely different. For example, in the form of a deer face.

Deer from flower pots

Even a small child can handle this decoration. Needs to be cut from cardboard deer antlers and glue them to the inside of the pot. Next is the creative process. We glue the eyes and nose onto the pot and decorate it with all kinds of decorations. This pot can be filled with candy and used as a cookie bowl.

Making Santa Claus's assistant with children

The easiest way to get creative is to make handprints on a sheet of paper using paint. Your hands should be positioned so that the bottoms of your palms are together. You get deer antlers, all that remains is to draw the eyes, nose and mouth. The finished drawing can be given as a greeting card for Christmas or New Year, or used as a painting.

Another interesting option - figurine of a New Year's deer made of a cardboard cylinder. It can also be used as a toilet paper or paper towel roll. The cylinder will be the body of the animal. From paper or fabric we cut out parts for the muzzle, as well as horns and ears. Paint the body brown and wait until the paint dries. Instead of paint, you can, for example, cover the body with fabric or cover it with colored paper. Glue ears, antlers, legs and other details onto the finished body of the deer.

You can still make a sweet decoration in a matter of minutes. To do this, cut out a rectangle of 20 cm by 15 cm from thin cardboard and fold it in half. Apply lollipop to the fold in the center of the sheet. We outline the lollipop, capturing a small part of the stick. It turns out to be a nose. Next, draw the deer’s head to the nose and cut it out along the outer lines. Cut out the nose, which will become a hole for the candy. Now you can decorate the animal's head, draw eyes and decorate as desired. You can use, for example, glitter. Into the cut hole insert lollipop in place of the nose and decorate the folded area of the cardboard with red ribbon. The child will be simply delighted.

Make New Year's decorations with your own hands, decorate your home, and this preparation will give you a holiday and a good mood even before the New Year!

Deer #1

“I made him out of what was... la-la-la”

Now everyone is preparing for the New Year and Christmas, and there are many such deer at every step, almost in herds, in every store, and I’ve also seen them in pharmacies. Think. you noticed them too. Very cute fawns, but honestly I don’t dare buy one. I don’t even know how much this beautiful curly skein of wire with a garland inside costs. But to do it yourself... I found this idea interesting. Are we doing?

1) Wire, basically any kind. I had a coil of steel wire with a cross section of 0.9.

2) Garland. In principle, too, any - ideally if it is the color of the wire and with LEDs, then you can do whatever you want with the deer decor, in terms of fire safety. In my case, the cheapest one is Chinese, and it’s also green (it requires adhesive tape and metallic paint)

3) Any of the garland fasteners to the wire. This could be a thinner wire, super glue, tape, or thread. I used Lurex and occasionally superglue.

We start any work with a sketch. I have this silhouette of a deer and antlers.

Now you need to try to make the silhouette using wire in 2 copies as close as possible to the sketch. That is, we should get 2 silhouettes of a deer and 2 antlers.

We fasten both silhouettes in the area of the muzzle and tail end to end, like this.

We wrap the antlers with wire, and we get something similar to a deer. Now you need to increase the volume. We twist the wire first around the legs and muzzle:

Those with the perfect deer-colored garland skip the next step. And the owners of more perverted garlands move on to coloring. Before painting the garland, you need to cover the light bulbs with window tape. I used metallic spray paint.

Then you need to carefully remove the tape. It is best to cut and tear the tape and carefully release the light bulb. I naively pulled the tape several times, pulling out the light bulbs. Now my deer's antlers don't light up, unfortunately.

We attach the garland. I started with the horns, attaching the bulbs with Lurex and super glue to the wire, wrapping the garland itself around the horns. The remaining part was pushed into the body and head, the cord with a plug was brought out from the side of the deer.

We wrap the deer with wire in those places where there are large gaps and decorate it. As for the decor, I didn’t bother too much, I wrapped it in lurex (since this was the first thing that came to hand) and a Christmas tree garland in the form of beads. This is the kind of deer I got.

What can you wrap it with? For these purposes, you can take a thinner wire. If the garland is LED, then you can wrap it with any beautiful threads. or ugly, and then spray with spray paint. A white woolen thread also looks beautiful, the deer looks so furry, but it’s better not to do that with a Chinese garland. I am sure that you will come up with many more ways to decorate.

Deer #2

Naturally, according to tradition, we are waiting for Grandfather Frost for the New Year. But maybe this time Santa will visit us too? We do not mind)))
? they even made him a deer. Like this:

It all started with 2 pieces of old aluminum wire that I found in my closet. You also needed: a skein of gray thread (children's acrylic), white mohair, PVA glue, tape, scissors, pliers.
To begin with, we give the wire the shape we need and connect it at the joints using tape. We get the following construction:

Now we take the gray threads and, lubricating small sections with glue, carefully and tightly wind them. Then we twist small parts from the wire: tail, ears and horns. I won’t show you the tail - I forgot to take a photo during the process, but here are the ears and horns:

We wrap the horns with the first layer of white mohair, and the ears with a layer of gray acrylic. We fasten them together with a thread, and then we tie them, again, with thread, to the head of our deer. Now we wrap the horns with another layer of mohair.

We cut off the excess threads.
The result is this little animal:
The most interesting thing remains: we randomly wrap a garland around the frame.

Deer #3

? a few outlines of deer, maybe they will help you create your New Year's Miracle!

DIY New Year's street figures with lighting, ideas on how to do it

Your home and garden can turn into a magical land if you put in some effort and use your imagination. Whatever idea you have in your head, the procedure for implementing it will always be the same:

  1. First you need to think over a sketch of the street figures, accurately measure each of its elements in order to purchase the required amount of durolite. It is better to always take it with a reserve.
  2. Make a pattern based on the sketch. This is a regular frame made of wire or any other durable material to which you will attach durolight.
  3. We attach durolight to the finished frame. You can use regular zip ties for this.
  4. The last stage is the most difficult - you need to connect the backlight. To do this, use the photo instructions below:

Now we will present you with several ideas for decorating your garden plot with luminous figures:

  1. If you want to decorate a facade or lamppost, it is best to use LED consoles (made of durable aluminum frames). You can make figurines of decorated Christmas trees and install them on the roof:

  1. If you don’t have a lot of time to decorate the frame with durolite, then you can use the “Glowing Curtain” garland. For example, balls or the same snowman will look very beautiful:

  1. Houses that are simply decorated with neon cords in the corners look very elegant. There is no need to waste time on making an aluminum frame, and the decor will turn out fabulous:

  1. If you know how to create figures from ice, then make sure that inside each figure you can insert non-heating garlands with hermetically mounted diodes. They will revive any ice statue:

DIY glowing New Year's deer step by step:

The deer is already a symbol of the New Year, because it is he who carries Santa Claus’s sleigh and stops at every house so that the main character of the holiday gives a gift to everyone who is waiting for him. You can make a deer as a decorative element in several ways:

made of wire

  • Prepare a photo or drawing of a deer on paper. This is an important step that will help you calculate the correct proportions of the future figure:

  • Prepare a stiff wire from which you can make a stable frame for the deer. It should not sag when finished.
  • We cover the finished frame with thin wire so that the middle of the figure can also be decorated with a garland:

acrylic deer

  • First, you need to twist the frame of a deer from thick wire. The first thing to do is the hind legs, which rise up to the belly, and from the belly move into the front legs. From the front legs the wire is stretched to the deer's neck, and from the neck to the head. From the head, the wire is pulled along the spine to the hind legs, from which you need to leave another small piece of wire to make the tail:

  • We wrap and stuff the resulting frame inside with polyethylene. To prevent it from falling off anywhere, you need to wrap it with tape on top:

  • Next, antlers are made from wire and attached to the deer’s head:

  • We wrap the horns with polyethylene and tape according to the same principle as the body:

You will only need to attach duralight or any garland to the finished figure and you will have a gorgeous glowing deer that will decorate not only your garden plot, but also your home interior.

backlight made of duralight

Everything is very simple here, because duralight is the most flexible and flexible lighting option:

  • Sketch a deer on paper.
  • Attach duralight to it and make the correct cuts.
  • To secure the sections together and get a solid figure, you just need to use plastic components - heat it, bend the duralight in the desired position and fix it.

Glowing deer on the window, step-by-step guide with photos

  • Take the deer template, cut it out and place it on the window to trace. You will have a circuit to which you will attach the LED strip:

  • Carefully attach one edge of the garland to the selected area of the deer's outline, and then circle it around the entire deer, gradually securing the garland with tape.

DIY glowing balls, ideas with explanations and photos

There are several options for how to make a ball:

  1. Try to make a uniform and neat ball from the wire so that it has the same number of edges on which the LED strip will be attached.
  2. Use thin wire mesh, which is usually used to fence aviaries or chicken coops.

Let's look at the last option in detail, because, in our opinion, it is simpler and the result is more accurate:

  • First, prepare the necessary material and tools for work (mesh, several garlands, pliers with wire cutters and a tape measure and gloves):

  • Cut a square from the mesh, fold it into an envelope and twist all the parts so that they do not come apart from each other:

  • Those places where sharp pieces of the mesh remain must be screwed to the mesh itself so that you do not get hurt during the work:

  • Attach a garland to the finished ball by wrapping it around each element of the metal ball:

DIY glowing cubes, step by step with photos

  • Take 6 pieces of plexiglass and sand it down.
  • Fasten each piece together to form a cube, but in the process gradually glue a neon cord on each side inside the cube. Leave a hole in one corner through which you can pull one end of the cord to connect it to the mains or battery.

Glass can be colored and of any size. It all depends on the decor idea that you come up with for yourself.

Near the Christmas tree decorated with garlands, place a glowing snowman on one side and a gift box on the other. The box can be made from the cube we described above.

Idea No. 2:

Next to the Christmas tree, you can simply make a huge dome ball with a hole for the entrance. You can put a gazebo or just a bench in it to spend wonderful winter evenings there in a romantic atmosphere.

DIY New Year's glowing snowman, step by step with photos

A glowing snowman can be made not only from duralight, but also in another equally interesting way, using disposable cups:

  • Place the cups in a checkerboard pattern on top of the first row in 7 rows, fastening them not only from the bottom and sides, but also from above to each other so that the structure is strong:
  • Make another such structure, place LED garlands inside each one, and then fasten them together with a stapler. Decorate the snowman so that it has buttons and a nose. You can use any stationery for this and more:

    Video: “LED figures”

    New Year's deer are the same symbol of the New Year and Christmas as the New Year tree and Santa Claus. True, Reindeer is a Western variant, but this is not important when it comes to holidays and fun.

    You can create such a cute symbol of the New Year with your own hands together with the kids. And at the same time, develop their creativity, imagination and create a festive atmosphere.

    These animals can be made in many ways. For example, make horns for your baby with him. You will need a regular headband, wire and a piece of brown felt.

    You need to cut out parts for future horns from felt, then lay wire in them, stitch the parts and attach them to the rim. Ready!

    Here is an interesting option related to appliqué and drawing. Using your palms in paint, you need to leave imprints of deer antlers on the paper, and then stick funny deer faces on them.

    Or you can cut out the outlined palm from paper.

    Or even make a deer from a child's footprint!

    Here's another interesting waste material - ordinary wine corks and fluffy wire (the kind sold in craft stores). The eyes are made of beads.

    If you do not find such wire, you can use a piece of sisal to make horns. (And here see how to do it.)

    The coolest material for making New Year's toys is felt. You can sew not only Christmas deer, but also New Year's deer. Draw a deer on felt with a ballpoint pen. Cut out two parts, sew them by hand or on a sewing machine. Don't forget to sew on a string so you can hang the items on the Christmas tree.

    Even the smallest children can handle this option. Eyes and a nose are glued onto plastic coffee cups, and fluffy wire instead of horns.

    Regular flower pots have nothing to be bored in winter! Glue the eyes and fluffy nose, make horns from colored cardboard. And the pots themselves can be filled with candies!

    The latest craft is made from ribbons. It's super easy to make and turns out super cute!

    Delight your kids with crafts in the form of New Year's deer, because time spent with a child is priceless! Especially during the winter holidays!

    A couple of evenings - and under the tree you will find a forest deer, shining with all the colors of the rainbow. Together with the children we are making a deer named Olesh.

    What do we need?

    Strong wire that bends well;
    pliers large and small;
    scissors;
    garland (for 100-150 light bulbs);
    plastic bottles 0.5 l (5-6 pieces);
    Super glue;
    tape, narrow (1-2 skeins) and wide;
    bubble wrap (aerial packaging, Bubble Wrap) – about 1.5 m2;
    the smallest tinsel is silver in color (for our deer, about 45 cm high, it took 12 ribbons of 2.5 m each);
    a flat piece of plastic (such as siding);
    acrylic paint (for example, bronze);
    construction brush 20 mm.

    The first step is to make a wire frame. The head, neck and four legs are flat, and the body consists of two halves.

    We fill the voids with plastic bottles (these are legs, torso, neck). If the bottles do not fit, cut off the top and bottom parts, cut lengthwise and roll to the desired diameter.

    To fill the head, we use bubble wrap, rolled into a ball and secured with tape. We make the muzzle from part of a plastic bottle. We secure all this with tape.

    Using bubble wrap, cut into strips 3-4 fingers wide, we “bandage” the deer. In some places it is necessary to “build muscle mass” (these are the chest, thighs and back). We correct Olesha’s figure and fix it with tape.

    The ears and tail are made in the same way - the remains of the film, folded into a triangle and cut to the required length, are glued with tape.

    Making horns is more difficult - you need a paper template. We trace the outline on a plastic plate and cut it out.

    Using scissors, we make deep cuts on the deer's head and insert the antlers. For reliability, fill the cracks with superglue.

    The horns can be painted, for example, with elegant bronze paint.

    Now you need to wrap a garland around Olesha’s torso and secure it with tape. We leave a supply of wire for connecting to the network.

    We decorate the base with tinsel using glue and tape. We camouflage each detail of the deer separately. We start with the ears and tail, followed by the legs and head.

    Attention! Superglue can glue your fingers together.

    You need to start wrapping the ears and tail from the end, securing the tip of the tinsel with tape. Then we apply two strips of superglue on both sides and quickly but carefully place the tinsel, and again secure the tail with tape.

    The head is “tinseled” in a special way: first the “fur” is glued between the ears, and then everything else.

    The most difficult part was decorating the back of the head, cheeks and back. To ensure that the tinsel fits properly, we place it around the ears in figure eights, loops, hooking it under the chin. The same goes for the tail – loops of tinsel are pulled behind the legs, bandaging the deer crosswise.

    The eyes and nose are made from ordinary caps - two from small medicine bottles and one from detergent.

    The deer turned out to be fragile, like any Christmas tree decoration. But our Olesh is not a toy, he is a guest.

    Attention! Unfortunately, Olesh cannot work for a long time - the garland gets hot, and the main material is plastic. It has been verified that the permissible duration of continuous operation of the garland is half an hour, always in the presence of adults.
