What crafts to make for Easter. Original crafts for Easter Crafting an egg from napkins

Why do we love holidays? Probably because it’s nice to prepare for them: think about gifts, set the table. But there are special, bright celebrations in our lives, such as Easter. On Easter, people give each other small Easter gifts: painted eggs, Easter cakes, baskets, Easter souvenirs. Children love to prepare crafts for Easter with their own hands; they are so interested in taking part in the preparation and work. We have selected the most interesting master classes for children and adults from a variety of crafts.

We offer crafts for Easter from the simplest materials, the purchase of which does not break your pocket; they are always available in any regular store.

This interesting basket for eggs can be easily made from a disposable plate, wooden clothespins and tape.

Cut a disposable plate with scissors:

Glue the sides together and seal the top with paper or tape. Separate the clothespins and glue them with Moment glue. We secure the top with a thin braid.

We cut strips of paper into the bottom and make a handle from cardboard. Decorate with a bow or several.

We print out the bunny template or draw it on a sheet of cardboard or thick paper. We paint on both sides, glue and place a beautiful Easter egg in the paws.

We make chickens from disposable spoons, cotton pads, and colored paper.

You can make the same funny bunnies:

More Easter-themed crafts: unusual egg plates. How beautiful multi-colored eggs will look on such an original plate! Cut out 4 legs and a bunny's head from white paper, and decorate the face. We put clothespins on a plate and glue paper paws to them. Place chopped white paper on the bottom of the plate.

We make a plate with chicken in the same way. Differences: yellow paper and the size of the paws.

DIY gifts for Easter

There are so many ideas for gifts for Easter, you’ll get tired of choosing. I would like to hope that our master classes will help you in your choice.

From paper

An Easter basket for the upcoming holiday can be made from a regular paper bag. Or from beautiful wrapping paper, maybe you have leftover candy boxes. There are many options. Multi-colored Easter eggs or delicious treats will look original in such an interesting basket.

To work you will need:

  1. Paper.
  2. Scissors.
  3. Ruler.
  4. Hot-melt gun or regular paper glue.
  5. Pencil.

If you took a bag for work, you need to cut off the bottom of it. Cut the side. Using a ruler and pencil, draw the paper into strips 3 cm wide.

We bend all the strips in half along the entire length.

We begin to weave a basket from the strips, as in the photo.

To prevent the parts from getting tangled, glue the strips to the top of the basket, then cut it all off. Glue the handle and glue the top of the basket.

We will make an interesting chicken stand for Easter eggs as a gift. There are several recipes for making dough.

Recipe for wheat flour dough:

  1. Flour - 2 cups.
  2. Extra salt - 1 glass.
  3. Cold water - 250 grams.
  4. Bag for storing products.
  5. 1 tbsp. spoon of sunflower oil.

Recipe for products made from rye flour:

  1. 3 cups (300 gr.) wheat flour.
  2. 1 cup (100 gr.) rye flour.
  3. 2 cups (400 gr.) fine salt.
  4. 250 ml water.

Rye flour gives the figures a warm bread color. To prepare any dough, mix flour and salt, then gradually pour in cold water and mix again. The degree of readiness of the dough can be determined as follows: if the dough stretches and sticks to your hands, it means there is a lot of water in it. Therefore, you need to add more flour.

To work you will need:

  1. The dough is salty.
  2. Stack.
  3. Vegetable peeler.
  4. Toothpick.
  5. Manicure file.
  6. Black peppercorns.
  7. Paints, brush.
  8. The varnish is transparent.
  9. Garlic press.

Roll out the flatbread to a thickness of 0.5-0.7 cm, this will be the chicken’s nest itself. We make the side parts of the nest using a garlic press. We form a “straw” by moistening it with water.

Leave the work to dry for 1 day so that the dough holds its shape well in the future. Let's start sculpting the chicken. We sculpt the body blank. We need the chicken as a stand for an egg, which means we need to make a recess for the Easter egg. We take a round shape, make a notch, and sculpt the breast and neck of the chicken. Use a vegetable peeler to feather the breast.

Insert a toothpick into the chicken's neck, leaving 1.5 cm. Connect the nest and the chicken's body. Roll out the dough, make wing blanks 1 cm thick. Draw the plumage with a vegetable peeler, attach it to the body of the chicken, moistening it with water.

Next, our task is to give the chicken a beautiful tail. We take an oval cake 0.7-1 cm thick as a basis. We make the plumage with a vegetable cutter. We trim the edges of the tail with a knife to resemble the pattern of feathers. Make the cuts neat, smoothing them with your fingers. Attach the tail to the chicken's body. Place something under your tail, such as a ball or an apple. After the product dries, remove the apple.

Roll into a round ball for the head. We shape the scallop using fingers and a stack, giving it the desired look.

To make the eyes, you need to mark their location. Make dents for the eyes with a stack. Next, use a vegetable peeler to make dents so that the eye becomes shaped.

Insert a peppercorn instead of the pupil. We make a beak and sculpt it to the head.

We fasten the head and body by putting the head on a toothpick. We attach a small strip of dough to stabilize the head. Decorate the chicken neck with dough feathers. You can make “earrings” for the chicken from pieces of dough.

We sculpt chickens in the same way. Don't forget to wet the parts for better fastening.

We leave the product to dry for 1-2 days, placing them in a distant place, maybe even on a closet. After a day or two, when the chickens and chickens have hardened, we finalize the work: we plant the figures on leaves, moistening the centers with water. Leave it in the air for 1-2 days. We dry the products first in air, and then put them in the oven at a temperature of 50 degrees for 1 hour. After drying, paint and cover with clear varnish.

Another option: dough figures: we make Easter bunnies, hens, chicks. You can make fridge magnets out of them, or pendants on willow branches.

The fastest gift option is multi-colored paper napkins and ribbons. Wrap the boiled egg in a napkin and tie with a ribbon. Can be replaced with corrugated paper.

This funny and interesting Easter chicken can be crocheted.

To work you will need:

  1. Yellow yarn, 100% cotton or 50/50,
  2. Some orange and white yarn.
  3. Hook number 3.

We start knitting from the body. First 7 rows:

1st - 8 sc in an amigurami loop
2nd - knit 2 sc in each loop (16 sc)
3rd - 1 sc, 2 sc, and so on (24 sc)
4th - in every third loop add: 2 sc, 2 sc (32 sc)
5th - in each 4 p. add: 3 RLS, 2 RLS (40 RLS)
6th - in every 5 p. add: 4 RLS, 2 RLS (48 RLS)
7th - in every 6 p. add: 5 RLS, 2 RLS (56 RLS)

15th - knit the 5th and 6th stitches together (40 sc)
16th - we knit 2 rows without decreasing (40 RLS)
18th - knit the 4th and 5th stitches together to decrease (32 RLS)
19th - no decreases (32 RLS)

We fill the chicken with cotton wool or padding polyester.

20th - knit every 2nd and 3rd stitch together (16 sc)
21st - knit every two loops together (8 sc)
Cut the thread and carefully sew up the hole.

Wings (2 wings):

  • 1st - dial 7 air. loops with yellow yarn, 1 sc in the second loop from the hook, 4 sc, 3 sc in one loop, 4 sc, conn. P.
  • 2nd - 1 VP, 4 RLS, two times 2 RLS in one stitch, 3 RLS in one loop, two times 2 RLS in one loop, conn. P.
  • 3rd - 1 VP, 1 sc in each loop
  • 4th - 1 VP, 1 connection. p. in each loop

We knit the paws with orange yarn:

  • 1st - 2 VP, 6 sc in the second loop from the hook (6 sc)
  • 3rd - increase in every second stitch (18 RLS)
  • 4th - row without changes (18 RLS)

Beak (1 piece)

1st - cast on 5 VP, 1 sc in the 2nd loop from the hook, half-dc, 1 dc, and 1 dc2h

Eyes (2 parts)

  • 1st - 6 sc in amigurami loop (6 sc)
  • 2nd - increase in each stitch (12 sc)
  • 3rd - increase in every 2nd stitch (18 sc)
  • The beads are different (colors are indicated next to the diagrams).
  • 2 meters of thin fishing line or nylon thread.
  • 2 beading needles.

We start weaving from the central row from number 1 to number 2, then we perform each part separately at different ends of the fishing line, using the table.

In the egg weaving pattern, notice the double rows (12 and 13 at the top, 13 and 14 at the bottom). For a chicken-shaped keychain in the upper part, we first weave the right wing (numbers 5 to 9), and then the left wing (numbers 10 to 16). Next, we move on to the design of the head (numbers 17 to 40).

What would Easter be without Easter cakes, Easter eggs, souvenirs and angels? You can make these original Easter angels with your own hands from ordinary pasta. Pasta can be anything: stars, cones, spirals, vermicelli. These angels can be hung on a willow branch or placed in an Easter basket.

To work you will need:

  1. Pasta.
  2. Ribbons or sticks.
  3. Hot-melt gun or Moment glue.
  4. PVA glue.
  5. Salt dough balls.

Use a glue gun to connect the head (dough ball) to the body. Next, glue the ribbon to the back. We select wings from pasta and glue on top of the braid.

Thickly coat the angel's head with PVA glue and dip it into small noodles or stars. This is the "hair" of an angel.

For hands, use openwork pasta. Apply glue thickly on the sides, near the wings and glue.

We paint with either simple golden paint or spray paint.

If you want to insert them into an Easter basket, insert a stick inside the pasta body and glue it, the crafts are ready.

Irina Denisova

A bright holiday is approaching Easter, and of course the children and I are discussing, talking about how we will celebrate it, and design our group. Because we've been doing a lot lately paper crafts, then we decided to decorate our group crafts from napkins, and not only. First we decided to make birds to decorate the branches with blossoming leaves.

That's what we needed: bird stencils, paper napkins, cut into small squares, brush, glue;

We decorate along the contour of our birds, highlighting the wings with a different color

After finishing the work, paint over the beak and eye with black paint, glue a bow to the girls’ birds, and a butterfly to the boys’ birds

This is how spring branches are decorated

For an egg with a stand required: a bottle from "Rastishka", still the same small ones napkins, brush, glue, egg.

First, remove the film from the bottle, and cut off the top part, trim it a little

Now we paste it over napkins over the entire surface

When finished, decorate with decorative adhesive tape (everything in the store is 38)

And tie the ribbons

Now let’s get to work on the egg and decorate it using the decoupage technique

And this is the composition we came up with!

Thank you for your attention! I would be glad if it helps someone with their work. Happy Holidays Easter!

One of the most enjoyable activities when preparing for the holiday is making crafts and decorations with your own hands, especially with children. Easter is a bright, sunny, spring holiday. Why not get a lot of positive emotions and make your own Easter souvenirs? After all, your relatives will be very pleased if they see that the gift was made by a child. You can also make beautiful decorations for your home or for the Easter table - this will create a festive family atmosphere.

I adore children's creativity, it seems to me that children are the best artists, because they think outside the box, they draw not in a stereotyped way, but in a picturesque way. Yes, it’s worth looking at contemporary art - it is much closer to children than to an academic school. And if somewhere it turns out a little crooked or dirty, then that’s even a plus!

In this article I offer many simple master classes on making cards and crafts from scrap materials. I tried to choose very simple ones that can be easily done with small children. But the result is always wonderful.

Paper crafts for Easter. How to make beautiful cards and decorations with your own hands

So, first of all, I will talk about Easter souvenirs that can be made from paper. Because they are the simplest and most effective. And also because I love to draw. I chose really easy projects that can be done even with dolls. Of course, the older the child, the more he can do without your help, and the more interesting the result.

Egg cups made from toilet paper rolls (or cardboard)

These little baskets are a lot of fun to make and also hold large eggs quite well. I hope that in every home there is such a thing as a toilet paper roll. Personally, we have already saved one and will continue to create. It seems to me that this is a valuable experience for a child, as beauty comes out of something unnecessary, essentially garbage.

If your Easter eggs are smaller than the basket, you can fill it with paper “grass” and it will be even more beautiful.

Materials:

  • Toilet paper rolls or cardboard,
  • Paints or colored paper,
  • scissors,
  • glue,
  • Easter eggs.
  1. If you don’t have toilet paper rolls, then glue a cylinder of the required size from cardboard (you can try it on so that an egg fits).
  2. Now you need to paint the bushings in the desired colors or cover them with colored paper.
  3. When dry, cut off half of the sleeve, you can make an even cut or with teeth.
  4. Cut a long strip of cardboard or construction paper and glue it to the inside of the roll in an arch to form a handle.
  5. To decorate our future baskets, cut out eyes, wings, ears, flowers from paper of the desired color. You can use a hole punch to make even circles.

DIY Easter card using a potato stamp

It's very easy to make beautiful images of Easter eggs using a potato stamp. After all, the potato itself is oval and looks like an egg, so when we make an imprint, we get a patterned egg. The first advantage of this method: the children will be delighted. And, secondly, this way you can quickly stamp a lot of beautiful cards or drawings! Having mastered this technique, you can continue to make stamps with or without a reason, and not only from potatoes. They say that Chinese cabbage leaves especially beautiful prints.

Materials:

  • potato,
  • paints,
  • dish,
  • towel,
  • paper

Manufacturing:

  1. Cut the potatoes in half. Blot with a napkin or paper towel to absorb moisture from the cut.
  2. Once you have dried the cut, use a knife to cut different patterns into the potato. You can use lines, circles, zigzags, hearts and other shapes.

Be careful when making the potato stamp as the potatoes can be slippery. Cut slowly.

3. Blot the cut again with a paper towel, as new moisture may have appeared, which we do not need at all. Now you can stamp.

4. Pour a little paint into the plates and dip the stamp there, its surface touching the paint, but so that the paint does not get into the cut grooves (if it does, it can be removed with a napkin or brush).

5. Press firmly onto the paper. Now lift up and look at your designer egg! If desired, the resulting print can be painted a little more, giving clarity to the lines where necessary or adding some patterns.

6. When you want to use a new color, simply rinse the potatoes and wipe dry again.

7. So, arm yourself with a few stamps and you can make all kinds of Easter decorations. Children will appreciate this creativity!

Postcard using cotton swabs

I offer a very simple idea on how to make beautiful Easter egg designs using cotton swabs. If you want to give a gift to relatives for Easter, then they will be very pleased to see that this egg was painted by the child himself. It may not be drawn perfectly, but it is very picturesque and free, so any result here will touch you, and at the same time remain as a memory. All you need to do is prepare everything necessary for the child and, perhaps, set an example, and then it will be entirely his creativity, and he will do everything himself.

My child and I decided to make these eggs too. Of all the master classes in this article, for some reason Vanya was most delighted with drawing with cotton swabs.

Even babies can color eggs this way. Alternatively, you can paint with finger paints and your fingers.

Materials:

  • white cardboard or paper,
  • scissors,
  • cotton buds,
  • dye

1. First, draw a stencil of an egg on a sheet of paper and cut it out. And on a sheet of whatman paper or thick paper you draw as many identical eggs as needed.

2. Children can cut them out themselves, but if they are small, then help them.

4. At the same time, you can repeat the letters.

5. The first batch is ready. But it turned out to be not enough for us, Vanya is a thrifty comrade, we circled more eggs.

6. Even mom creates. This is my favorite:

7. Well, that’s all, a bunch of postcards are ready, Vanya already has an idea of who he will give them to.

8. The chicken seemed to lay all these eggs)) It was fun!

Even such a simple task can be used for learning. You can show children how to draw lines and dots. Talk about patterns, what types of lines there are - straight, wavy, zigzag. Show different elements - flowers, circles. Older children can be told what an ornament is – the repetition of identical elements. About symmetry. You can talk about the combination of colors, for example, that, ideally, there should be no more than three colors and their shades.

Easter basket made from ribbons and popsicle sticks

You can make an Easter drawing or a card in the form of a basket. For this you will need ice cream sticks, my child loves to make something out of them. It is very interesting to make and decorate the basket itself, but it is also interesting to draw or glue the colored eggs that will be in it. They can be made according to any of the options that I write about above - and the testicles will come in handy. The original tutorial used craft sticks, but if you don't have those, popsicle sticks work great.

You can ask for popsicle sticks at the store; they usually have a supply that is not used. And you don't need very many of them. They gladly gave it to us in our store.

Materials:

  • 15 wooden ice cream sticks,
  • satin ribbon,
  • glue gun (you can just use PVA glue),
  • cardboard,
  • White paint,
  • brush,
  • markers,
  • green yarn (or colored paper),
  • scissors.
  1. Glue the popsicle sticks to the cardboard to create a rectangle. Where there is a long stick in the photo, put two.

2. Glue another long stick (out of two) horizontally to the middle of the rectangle. Glue three sticks vertically.

3. Turn the basket over and glue 4 vertical sticks in the empty spaces.

4. Thread the ribbon through the sticks and secure the ends with a gun or PVA glue.

5. Make a handle from part of the tape.

6. Make “grass” from green yarn or colored paper. Decorate the eggs as your imagination dictates and place them in a basket.

Design paper egg

I really liked the idea of making an egg applique from designer paper. This is very simple for a child to implement, but at the same time, it turns out beautifully! This is a great option for an Easter card. Of course, instead of designer paper, you can use just colored paper. But I just have a huge pack of designer stuff lying around at home, I need to finally use it.

Designer paper can be purchased at art stores, craft stores, or online.

Materials:

  • Egg template (oval),
  • White or colored cardboard,
  • Glue (double-sided tape),
  • Scissors or cutter
  1. Make an egg template. You can simply type “oval” or “egg template” on the Internet and print it or, if you don’t have a printer, then transfer the design from the screen to a piece of paper and cut it out. Take a rectangular cardboard of the required size so that it is larger than the template. Draw an oval according to the template. Cut strips of designer or colored paper about 1 cm wide or less, and slightly longer than the width of the template.

2. Let the child stick these stripes onto the template randomly, the way he wants.

3. Let him seal the whole egg, this is what happens:

4. Now attach the template to another sheet of paper or cardboard, trace and cut out a straight hole. This must be done by an adult.

5. Now glue the sheet with the hole on top of the egg decorated with stripes of paper. This can be done using glue or double-sided tape.

6. A wonderful postcard is ready!

DIY Easter basket made of corrugated paper

Today I’ll tell you how to make a beautiful Easter basket from corrugated paper and a plastic cup.

Using the same principle, you can make larger baskets by using not a glass, but another plastic container, for example, a cut-off bottle or something you can find in the house. We have a lot of plastic jam buckets that work great.

Materials:

  • A plastic cup,
  • scissors or cutter,
  • corrugated paper in two colors (or corrugated paper + regular napkins),
  • narrow masking tape (sold in office or household supply stores),
  • wide paper tape (3 cm),
  • glue gun or PVA glue,
  • satin ribbon.
  1. Cut off the top of the cup.

2. Take a strip of corrugated paper equal to the height of the future basket (decide for yourself how much the paper should protrude above the cup). Collect this strip into an accordion and glue it with pieces of masking tape.

3. This is what should happen.

4. Now also assemble a similar strip of corrugated paper of the second color into an accordion using masking tape, or you can use napkins. If using napkins, then take two napkins folded in half and gather them together into an accordion. The napkins are not that long, so you will end up with several pieces.

5. Cut off the excess, leaving a couple of centimeters at the bottom.

6. Now remove the paper backing from the masking tape and stick the pieces of paper to the cup.

7. This is what happens

8. Now press down the protruding paper and wrap it with wide masking tape.

9. Now take a strip of corrugated paper of a different color, tear off the paper base one by one from the masking tape, and glue the paper onto the basket.

10. This is what happens.

11. If necessary, trim with scissors to make it even.

12. Now, using a glue gun or PVA glue, glue the satin ribbon around the basket.

13. This is what happens.

14. Now cut a strip approximately 0.5-1 cm wide from the wide part of the cup.

15.
Wrap it in satin flying or corrugated paper. And glue with a glue gun or PVA glue. Now it’s up to your imagination - decorate the basket as you please, for example, you can make a small flower from corrugated paper in a contrasting color.

So, I talked about how to make beautiful and simple paper crafts for Easter. I hope some of this inspires you to get creative with your kids. Good luck!

Decorate simple white napkins with symbolic images of rabbits using fabric paint and a stencil, and sew fringed braid along the edge.

2. Painted jars with “grass”

Photo: masonjarcraftslove.com

These jars can be used as table decorations or placed on a shelf. For them you will need the jars themselves, acrylic paint of several pastel colors and paper “shavings” (filler for gift wrapping, you can buy it at a flower or gift store or make it yourself by cutting colored paper into thin strips). First, paint each jar a different color and let the paint dry. Then we apply patterns and dry again. Add “grass” - done!

3. Gold vases from jars

Photo: masonjarcraftslove.com

By the way, the same jars can be painted with gold paint and made into elegant flower vases. For even painting, it is better to take paint in a spray can, and if you don’t mind texture, regular metallic decorative acrylic and a brush or sponge will do.

4. Headband with bunny ears

Photo: countryliving.com

You can dress a child in such a headband for Easter - he will probably be delighted. You will need a regular headband, fabric and wire. “Ears” are made from strips of fabric sewn along the length, through which wire is threaded. The headband must be covered with the same fabric and “ears” attached to it.

5. Easter bunny made of paper ball

Photo: francesjanisch.com

Another craft option that will delight children is a rabbit made from a paper ball. The ball can be purchased at a craft store or where gifts are wrapped. Add ears made of colored cardboard, paper mustaches, eyes and a nose made of pompoms - the rabbit is ready.

6. Easter egg pendants

Photo: thelifeofjenniferdawn.com

For such pendants you will need colored cardboard with different types of ornaments, glue, thick colored threads and several beads for decoration. First make an egg-shaped pattern. Then cut out blanks from cardboard; each pendant requires 4 blanks. Fold each one in half lengthwise, with the picture inside, and glue them together, placing a thread in the middle. Decorate with beads on the bottom and top.

7. Garland of white rabbits

Photo: cleanandscentsible.com

For such a garland you will need paper, glue and thread. Make several pompoms of the same size from threads. Cut out the rabbit image according to the template. Glue them to the base thread and attach a pompom tail to each.

8. Garland of colorful rabbits

Photo: makeityelloh.com

A garland with rabbits made of multi-colored paper is made in the same way as the previous one, but looks different.

9. Garland of pompoms

Photo: makeityelloh.com

You can make a garland only from multi-colored pompoms, large or small.

10. Garland with tassels

Photo: diycandy.com

For such a garland you need multi-colored threads for tassels, beads and letters for the inscription - you can cut them out of colored paper yourself.

11. Wrapping paper garland

Photo: livelaughrowe.com

A garland can also be made from wrapping paper. Take several sheets with a delicate spring print, cut out the parts according to the template and simply stitch them on a machine.

12. Tulips in a wooden box

Photo: crazylittleprojects.com

This original way of “serving” can complement or replace a traditional bouquet in a vase.

13. Lacy Easter eggs

Photo: alittlepinchofperfect.com

To make these decorations, you will need sheets of colored cardboard, lace tissue paper, glue and watercolors. However, instead of it, you can use the same food colorings that you use to color real eggs for Easter. First, we make a template in the shape of an egg and cut out blanks from cardboard and paper napkins using it. We spray the napkin blanks with water from a spray bottle and immediately drip multi-colored paints onto them. When the napkins are dry, glue them to the cardboard blanks.

14. Chickens from egg cartons

Photo: typicallysimple.com

You will need cardboard packaging for eggs, a breadboard knife, glue, paints and colored paper. Cut out the convex parts of the packaging, glue them in two and paint them. Once the paint is dry, add construction paper details.

15. Eggshell flower stands

Photo: craftberrybush.com

All you need to do is carefully open the shell, remove the raw eggs from the contents and wash the shell. Flowers in such “vases” can be placed on the table in ordinary egg cups.

16. “Flower garden” in an egg carton

Photo: lerobinsnest.blogspot.com

Another version of the “flower garden” in an eggshell. This composition can please you for a long time, because the plant is placed in each shell along with the soil.

17. Gift bags with “ears”

Photo: evermine.com

You can put Easter gifts, such as treats, in this bag. You will need simple rectangular craft bags, threads, and pom-poms for the tails. Cut out “ears” from the top of each bag. Glue the tails. Put the gift in a bag, tie it, add a label - you can draw it yourself.

18. Fabric gift bags

Photo: alittlecraftinyourday.com

Gift bags can also be made from fabric and decorated with Easter symbols.

: Master Class

19. Gift bags with painting and embroidery
