Knitted top with openwork yoke. Description of knitting, pattern. Top with openwork round yoke from Drops Design, knitted with knitting needles. Top knitted with knitting needles with round openwork yoke

Summer top connected with an interesting round yoke, which is continued by a beautiful pattern of openwork leaves. For knitting a summer top, viscose and linen yarn was chosen to make the knitted item comfortable to wear in the heat.

Sizes: 38/40 (42/44)

You will need: yarn (70% viscose, 30% linen; 93 m/50 g) - 350 (400) g linen; knitting needles No. 3; circular needles No. 3.

Pattern 1: knit stitch = rows in forward and reverse direction: knit rows - knit stitches, purl rows - purl loops. Circular rows: knit stitches only.

Pattern 2: Yoke pattern= circular rows (the number of loops is initially a multiple of 8) = knit according to pattern 1. It shows odd and even circular rows. In the next circular row, after each circular row with yarn overs, constantly drop all the yarn overs and pull out the loops. Constantly repeat rapport and rounds 1-8.

Attention! With the exception of the 1st increase in the 2nd circular row (see instructions), increases of 1 st in each repeat are given starting from the 6th circular row and then in every 4th circular row. Perform 1-34th circular rows 1 time, then only for the 2nd size repeat 1 more time 28-34th circular rows = 34 (41) circular rows in total.

Pattern 3: elastic= alternately 1 knit, 1 purl.

Pattern 4: openwork pattern= circular rows (the number of loops is a multiple of 11) = knit according to. diagram 2. It shows odd circular rows. In even circular rows, knit all stitches and yarn overs. Constantly repeat rapport and rounds 1-12.

Knitting density: pattern 1 - 23 p. x 40 r./round. = 10 x 10 cm; pattern 2 - 23 stitches x 31 circles. = 10 x 10 cm: pattern 4 - 23 stitches x 31 circles. = 10x10 cm.

Attention: pullover is knitted from top to bottom in a single fabric, first in rows in forward and reverse directions, then in circular rows. Arrow on pattern = knitting direction.

Description of knitting a top with knitting needles:

Starting from the top edge of the round yoke in the middle of the back, cast on 72 (78) sts on the needles and knit with a pattern of 1 rows in the forward and reverse directions, while marking the middle of the work as the middle of the back. At the same time, to round the neckline on both sides, in every 2nd row from the initial row, 1 x 4 p., 7 x 3 p., 1 x 6 p. = 134 (140) p. Then in the next 2nd row at the end row, connect the beginning and end of the row using an intermediate set of 4 (10) p. (= middle of the front neckline) and for all 138 (150) p. continue working with pattern 1 in circular rows, while in the 2nd circular row evenly add 10 ( 12) p. (= knit 1 front crossed from a transverse thread) = 148 (162) p. After 6 cm = 24 rows/circular rows from the initial row or after 1 cm = 4 circular rows from the middle of the front neck, fasten a new thread to the middle of the back (= the beginning of the circular row) and from/to the middle of the back continue to work with the pattern in 2 circular rows, while in the 2nd circular row evenly add 12 (14) sts = 160 (176) sts; these increases are not shown in the diagram. After the 22nd round from changing the pattern there will be 260 (286) sts on the needles. After 11 cm = 34 rounds (13 cm = 41 rounds) from changing the pattern the end of the round yoke will be reached.

Next, from the beginning of the circular row in the middle of the back, knit as follows: 46 (50) sts with pattern 3, close 39 (44) sts as knit stitches (= left armhole), 91 (99) sts with pattern 3, while starting and finish 1 knit stitch, close 39 (44) stitches as knit stitches (= right armhole), 45 (49) stitches with pattern 3, start and finish 1 purl stitch.

In the next circular row, knit as follows: 46 (50) sts with pattern 3, cast on 19 (22) new stitches, 91 (99) sts with pattern 3, cast on 19 (22) new loops, 45 (49) sts with pattern 3 = 220 (242) p. Then knit 1 more circular row according to. pattern, purl the newly cast on loops, and then purl 1 round row on all loops.

After 1 cm = 3 circular rows from the round yoke, starting in the middle of the back, continue working with pattern 4, while shifting the beginning of the circular row by 1 stitch, i.e. Without knitting, remove the 1st loop of the circular row onto the right knitting needle (this loop at the end of the circular row is included in 3 stitches knitted together with a broach), then start the pattern with the 2nd loop of the circular row. After 33 cm = 102 circular rows from the beginning of knitting with pattern 4, knit another 1 cm = 3 circular rows with purls and 1 circular row with knits for the bottom bar. Then bind off all stitches like knit stitches.

An elegant top that fits your figure, decorated with an openwork pattern, will be very useful in the summer. It doesn't look beachy, and can easily be used in an office or other more or less formal setting. It is convenient because it is knitted from cotton yarn (DROPS MUSKAT, 50g/100 m). The model was created by DROPS Design specialists for S - M - L - XL - and also sizes for full - XXL - XXXL, and for each size there is its own pattern diagram in the application. We also have a pattern with all the numerical indicators. For the top, 7-8-9-10-11-12 skeins of the proposed yarn will be enough. Its thread is convenient to knit with 4 mm knitting needles. Since we will begin work by performing k/r (circular rows), the knitting needles should also be circular.

Knitting density we define it this way: from 21 loops (pt) we perform 28 rows = 10x10 cm. We knit with stockinette stitch (kl/sl).

Description

Let's start knitting the top from the bottom and work our way up in the circle. Since the pattern contains the design of the waist, during the work you will need to add and subtract stitches in the k/r.

We add pts using yarn overs, which are subsequently converted into crossed pts (knit pts).

We make decreases in pt around the mark (markers): before the mark we perform a broach, and after it we knit 2 lcpt together.

The main detail of a summer top with an openwork yoke from Drops

Dial 210-224-238-266-294-322 pt. We knit 4 k/r scarf knitting (pl/v).

Then we make the border according to scheme A.1. = 180-192-204-228-252-276 pt.

We install the markings designed to separate the front from the back:

Mrk1 - knitting 45-48-51-57-63-69 sts;

Mrk2 - after completing 90-96-102-114-126-138 pt. We finish k/r 45-48-51-57-63-69 pt.

We knit lts/hl to a height of 7cm.

In the next k/r we subtract 1 pt around the mrk (see above).

We perform this operation to decrease pt another 6-5-3-5-5-5 times, leaving 2-2½-4-2½-2-2½ cm between each ct with decreases = 152-168-188-204-228 -252 pt.

Having reached 24 cm in height from the edge, we begin to increase around the mark - 1 pt, repeating them a total of 8-7-6-5-7-7 times. The distances between k/r with additions of pts are 1-1-1½-2-2-2 cm = 184-196-212-224-256-280 pts.

When the height of the canvas reaches 35-37-38-40-41-43 cm, we begin to work on the armholes:

Knit the first 42-45-49-51-59-65 sts;

Knit 84-90-98-102-118-130 sts;

Cast off 8-8-8-10-10-10 sts;

We finish k/r = 168-180-196-204-236-260 pt. We put off work.

Sleeves

We make a set of 62-64-65-71-72-76 pts. We perform 3 rows of lcpt.

In the next row we bind off the first 4-4-4-5-5-5 sts; knit 54-56-57-61-64-66 sts. At the same time, add 6-6-5-5-4-4 sts evenly; close off the last 4-4-4-5-5-5 sts = 60-62-62-66-66-70 sts. We cut off the thread.

Yoke

We assemble the stitches of the main part and sleeves on the knitting needles in their places. We knit k/r again.

We work according to A.2; then according to A.3; then according to A.4 = 108-114-120-126-138-150 pt.

We knit 2 k/r with a pl/w pattern, decreasing at the same time 6-4-2-0-4-8 pts evenly = 102-110-118-126-134-142 pts.

We knit 2 more k/r pl/v. We close all pts freely.

Assembly

We connect the undercuts of the sleeves with a seam, and we also sew the sleeves themselves.

Patterns and schemes

Facial surface

In front rows, knit stitches with knit stitches, in purl rows - purl.

Openwork pattern

Knit according to the pattern (the number of pattern loops is a multiple of 10 + 1 p.).

Knitting density

22 p. x 34 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted in stockinette stitch with knitting needles No. 3.5.

Important!

The knitting density must be as specified!

If the instructions indicate only one number, then it applies to all sizes!

Completing of the work

The product is knitted in one piece. Start from the edge of the right sleeve, knitting on circular needles in rows in forward and reverse directions.

On circular needles No. 3.5, cast on 83 (89) 95 (101) sts and knit in stockinette stitch, while on the middle 81 sts knit in a pattern according to the pattern (= 1st row - purl row).

Important: mark the middle loop with a contrasting thread and continue the marks until the closed loops of the neck.

Having knitted 5 rows, add 1 stitch on both sides (= after/before the edge). Repeat these increases every 4th r. (in total, add 5 stitches on each side), knit in stockinette stitch on the added stitches.

After 3 r. After the last row with increases, cast on loops for the side edges. Make a mark and dial 84 (86) 88 (90) p. at the end of the next 2 p. = total on knitting needles 261 (271) 281 (291) sts.

Continue working on all stitches (knit edge stitches in all rows).

Approximately 10 (11) 12 (13) cm from the side marks, divide the loops at the mark on the sleeve (the loop with the contrasting thread belongs to the front) and finish both sides separately, continuing to work with the same distribution of patterns.

Back

To round the neckline, close the inner edge at the beginning of each face. rows of 3, 2, 2, 1, 1 p., then knit straight.

At least 7 (8) 9 (10) cm after the last row with closed loops, finish with the 10th or 22nd row of the openwork pattern (in the next row, make a mark in the middle), knit another 7 (8) 9 (10) cm and cast on the loops to round the neck in the reverse order of how they were closed on the back.

Temporarily postpone work.

Before

Round the front neckline as follows: first bind off 10 stitches, and then close the loops in the same way as described for rounding the back neckline.

Make a mark at the same height as on the back and knit the second part of the neck in the same way = cast on loops in reverse order.

Important: finish the openwork pattern in the same row as on the back.

Connect the back loops to the front loops and continue working on all loops with the same distribution of patterns.

Having knitted the same number of rows for the left shoulder as for the right, close off 84 (86) 88 (90) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows. (= side edges).

Knit the left sleeve like the right one, but instead of increasing in faces. make decreases in rows: knit
1 p., 2 p. knit together, knit until the last 3 loops on the knitting needle, slip 1 loop, knit the next loop and pull the removed loop through the knitted one, knit 1 p.

Having knitted the same number of rows for the left sleeve as for the right, bind off the loops.

Assembly

Sew sleeve seams and side seams.

Bottom edge binding

Using hook No. 3, perform a row of st. b/n along the bottom edge of the product = do approximately 1 tbsp. b/n in every 2nd row, close the row with the connection. Art. and knit the next row like this: 3 ch, 1 tbsp. s/n back to the same loop, skip 1 tbsp. b/n, *1 tbsp. b/n in the next loop, 1 tbsp. s/n back to the same loop, skip 1 p., 1 tbsp. b/n in the next loop*, repeat from * to *, close the row with the connection. Art. in the 1st stitch of the row.

Sleeve edge binding

Using hook No. 2.5, make a row of sts along the edge of each sleeve. b/n = knit 1 tbsp. b/n in each loop, close the row of connections. Art. and knit the next row in the same way as for tying the bottom edge, but instead of 1 stitch, skipping 2 loops.

Neck strap

Using hook No. 2.5, make a row of sts along the edge of the neckline. b/n = knit 1 tbsp. b/n in each loop in areas with closed/cast on loops, 1 tbsp. b/n in every 2nd row on straight sections. Close the row of connections. Art. and knit the next row in the same way as for tying the edges of the sleeves.

Various types of knitting provide us with unlimited space for imagination. Tops are:

  • tailored from separate halves - both of the same type and differing in color and even pattern (the back can be made more dense);
  • knitted in the round - in this case, the top is knitted in one piece, the straps are then sewn on separately.

By the way, the straps can be thin, crossed, made in the form of braids, wide, or be a single loop circling the neck.

What will the top be like - weightless, like a spider's web? Strict? Or erotic, emphasizing the dignity of the figure? For a translucent option, it is better to sew a lining in a neutral or contrasting shade, which will help fix the shape and hide unnecessary details from immodest glances. We make the neckline round, square, V-shaped or wavy - this is very suitable for tops with floral patterns.

On hot days, a short top will be indispensable - barely covering the stomach (if your figure allows) or a little longer. For a formal occasion or for work in the office, a more formal option is suitable - for example, up to the middle of the thigh.

Color scheme and choice of yarn

The yarn is also selected according to your wishes and needs. Pleasant to the touch and eco-friendly, a top made of linen or cotton will perfectly harmonize with both a skirt and trousers. However, do not forget: using thread made from natural fibers for knitting, you will get a fairly heavy product.

Why not go for acrylic, viscose, wool or blended yarn? A striped or melange top looks great. The yoke can be finished in a contrasting color.

Go for it! An openwork top knitted by a skilled craftswoman can become a chic detail in your wardrobe!

Knitting pattern for openwork top

Legend

Good day to all needlewomen! I bring to your attention my version of an openwork top with a pattern of leaves with a small yoke. The top is knitted from Pekhorka Summer cotton yarn (330 m per 100 g), color Fuchsia, with knitting needles No. 2.5. My little top for my daughter took 2 or so skeins.

I want to say that this yarn is a little difficult to knit, the thread is very twisted, so when knitting I had to constantly untwist the knots, it was exhausting... In my version of the top there are not 5 repeats, but only 4, so I cast on 101 loops for the back and front (24 stitches of the pattern + between the repeats, 1 loop (knitted with the front one twisted so that the borders of the patterns can be better seen = 3 loops) + 2 edge loops); 8 patterns high.

I knitted the armholes as in the description, but for the yoke the description indicated a very large number of loops (95), for my daughter, by trial and error, I needed to cast on only 44 loops, I did the reduction of loops for the armholes immediately (in the description after 4 cm of the beginning of the yoke). Since there are only 4 repeats, the central leaf in the yoke turned out to be in the middle (between the second and third stripes), but in my opinion, it also turned out well. The height of the yoke has also been reduced. The top is crocheted in small crab steps.
