We take glycerin, petroleum jelly or castor oil and wipe the surface of the leather product with a new cloth. Don't apply too much oil; the skin will absorb as much as it needs.

Fuzzy leather (suede, velor)

Bags made of fuzzy leather look very attractive, but they require more careful care. For cleaning, it is best to use special brushes for suede products; with its help you can remove light dirt - dust, traces of rain. For deeper stains, it is recommended to use a special stain removal spray or use a soap solution with the addition of ammonia. For 1 liter of water, a small piece of soap and 1 teaspoon of ammonia. Just in case, test the solution or spray on an inconspicuous area of your purse. After cleaning, wipe the product with a lemon solution - add 1 teaspoon of citric acid and vinegar per liter of water.

Polished leather

Fans of patent leather products need to know that such products should be worn at temperatures from -15°C to + 25°C. Otherwise, you risk ruining your favorite thing! But cleaning is much easier here - to remove dirt and dust, just wipe the bag with a dry or slightly damp, and then a dry cloth. It is also recommended to use protective creams that help protect the skin from damage and cracking.

Aged leather or chameleon leather

One of the most durable, resistant types of leather, has high moisture-repellent properties. This type of leather does not require special care and is easy to clean. You can use a hard leather eraser to remove dirt.

Leather with imitation reptile skin

Not the most common, but one of the favorite types of leather, especially for wallets and bags. It is advisable to wipe this type of leather daily with a piece of woolen cloth. This will help protect your handbag from dust and dirt. For deeper stains, use wet cleaning, but try to use it as rarely as possible and then make sure that the skin does not get wet through.
