How to decorate a tank Christmas tree? It’s simple - open the corresponding panel in the hangar, for example, by clicking on your Christmas tree. Next, from the list of decorations, drag those of the highest level onto your Christmas tree - the job is done! The tank is decorated in the same way.

Decorating a Christmas tree on one side is a very simple process - drag toys of the maximum level onto it and calm down... But if you want to get certain decorations, then you can’t leave it to chance :) After all, a situation may arise when an unnecessary decoration is crafted from 5 decorations of the 4th level 5th, for example, the second pommel.

Practice has shown that there are fixed recipes, which always give the same result with the same resources, and there are random ones. Witchcraft recipes that give a guaranteed result (posted by WoT developers) are marked green tick . How to create (craft) decorations for a World of Tanks tank tree?

If you are interested in recipes for specific decorations, for example, you want to assemble the “Golden” Hanging Toy Type 59”, then click on the “Select recipes” button. A modal window will appear where you can select the item of interest - Hanging toy “Golden Type 59". Click on it and press the “Add” button. All known recipes for this item will be shown in the list.

And the best part is the opportunity to see what you can craft from your jewelry! Add your jewelry in the “My Jewelry” section (click on the inscription to collapse or expand the section). Click the “Add” button and in the modal window select the decorations that you have on your tree and in your warehouse.

Attention! When you click with the left button, 1 decoration is added, when you click with the right button, 1 is removed.

If you have three white balls, then click 3 times so that the number of your decorations is displayed on the toy icon. Click the “Add” button. You can continue adding decorations at any time! After adding all the decorations, click on the “My Recipes” button to see what you can craft from your decorations. All recipes from our list will be selected for which you have enough decorations to use.

In your Hangar you can decorate a Christmas tree, a snow sculpture, a field kitchen and, in fact, the yard itself. Everything is the same as before: complete combat missions, earn decorations and hang them up. Each decoration increases the level of festive atmosphere in the Hangar. The rarer it is, the more holiday atmosphere points it gives.

There are a total of ten levels of holiday atmosphere and five levels of decoration rarity. Your level of holiday atmosphere depends both on the rarity level of decorations and on their number in the Hangar. By default, all players will start at level I and will receive a gift - an MKA tank, a German premium vehicle of level II, with a slot and a 100% crew. Each new level guarantees additional rewards, including discounts on researchable equipment of levels I-X, personal reserves, equipment and slots in the Hangar.

After reaching IV, VI, VIII and X levels of the holiday atmosphere, you will be able to recruit four tankers with a unique appearance into your crew, whom you can train for any researched or premium/reward vehicle of any nation. How to get jewelry?

You can earn jewelry in battles by completing special tasks, which we will talk about a little later. For tasks you receive Small New Year's boxes, which will contain three random decorations and an additional reward.

The type, collection of decorations (setting), as well as the rarity level will be determined randomly.
By adding decorations to your collections, you will receive various bonuses (to credits, combat experience, free experience or crew experience). As you collect the collection, the bonus will grow.

Collection 2019: what's new?

All decorations are divided into four collections, like last year: “New Year”, “Christmas”, “Magic New Year” and “Oriental New Year”. Special albums will be available in the Hangar decoration menu, where you can see your progress. Why collect jewelry? As before, you will receive rewards for this. When you complete the complete collection, you will receive a unique style, inscriptions and emblems.

And that is not all.
Let's return to bonuses for collections. Each collection begins to provide its own bonus when at least nine decorations have been collected from it:

The collection bonus increases as you collect decorations and applies to any vehicle you play. It can also be enhanced by the festive atmosphere. How much? Having collected all the collections and reached the maximum level of the holiday atmosphere, you will receive +50% to all four bonuses.

Collection 2018: return!

Who remembers the styles from last year's collections? Some of you have collected all four. However, many did not have time to finish even one (although they really wanted to!). Well, we will give you the opportunity to complete the collections this year. First you need to reach level X of the holiday atmosphere. After this, you can return to collecting previous collections and pick up where you left off last year. However, hurry up: this opportunity will disappear from January 14th!

By opening the 2018 collection and clicking on the missing decoration, you can assemble it from a certain number of fragments. By the way, last year's decorations will not be given out randomly - you will be able to get exactly the ones you need.

New good collider 2.0

The new good collider was in demand last year, and we decided to keep it this year, but with some improvement.
They changed the overall appearance and interface - this is how it got version 2.0. In addition, the New Year collider syncs with album collections. For example:

In the 2019 Collection, click on a piece of jewelry that you don't have. → You are transferred to the New Good Collider 2.0 with the settings set to create this decoration. → If luck is on your side, you will be able to collect it.
The principle of work will be the same as last year: you break unnecessary decorations into fragments, and then try to get from them the decorations that you need.

The New Year's event in World of Tanks has recently begun - New Year's Offensive 2018! And the players already have a lot of questions related to it. We tried to answer the most popular and exciting ones.

How to properly decorate a Christmas tree in World of Tanks

You can easily tell that there is a New Year's event in WoT by looking at the hangar. Actually, that's where you'll find her. Click LMB on it and you will be taken to the window for decorating the Christmas tree.

To achieve this level of festive atmosphere, it is necessary not only to decorate the tree in WoT, but also the snowman, decorate the house and lighting, and also decorate the pillars and yard. All this is in the left menu, in the screenshot. You can also go to all these objects directly from the hangar by clicking on them with LMB. This is discussed in detail.

If you have extra toys or you are missing some New Year’s element to add a new level of New Year’s atmosphere, then the necessary toys can be crafted in the collider. To do this, click on the bottom panel “create decoration”.

And so, all combat missions have been completed, but level 10 of the holiday atmosphere has not been achieved, what to do? Everything is very simple. You need to wait until December 22, 2017, there will be new combat missions and you can not only reach level 10, but also try to collect a collection of toys.

You can also increase the level of the holiday atmosphere in another way - through donation. If you buy boxes in a premium store, you will not only decorate your Christmas tree up to level 10 faster, but you will also get various goodies from the boxes. But you need to remember that they drop out randomly. Among these bonuses and goodies, the most important prizes that you can get from the boxes are premium Tier 8 tanks:

In the 2018 New Year's offensive in World of Tanks, there are 4 sets of decorations:

This album contains decorations from levels 1 to 5 for each set and by collecting them all you can get unique camouflages, inscriptions and emblems with a New Year's theme. You can see which sets you can get on the page with level 5 in each category.

Good day, dear friends and happy holidays to you! Probably every tanker has already noticed New Year's changes in his hangar in the form of a Christmas tree and a tank (snowy KV-2) that has appeared.

Of course, these hangar changes are directly related to the new combat mission - Operation New Year's Offensive WoT, which will last in our favorite game from 9:00 on December 16th until 9:00 on January 16th.

What do we have to do?

So, the World of Tanks game event “New Year’s Offensive” is already in full swing and your main task will be to increase the holiday atmosphere in your hangar. Of course, to achieve this, you need to decorate the Christmas tree and the tank, and for this you need to fight, but let’s add specifics.

An integral part of the event are 12 special combat missions, which can be completed on a wide variety of types and levels of equipment. For completing each task, you receive a special reward - a “Gift Box”, in which you will find a variety of Christmas tree decorations, garlands, decorations for a tank tank, etc.

In addition, the “WoT New Year's Offensive” promotion involves completing tasks conditionally divided by difficulty level, so that everyone can receive a gift, only its level will be different (from 1 to 4) and the toys in the gift will be appropriate. In other words, for decorating a Christmas tree in tanks to enhance the holiday atmosphere, you don’t have to sweat through difficult missions in pursuit of cool toys; you can take it in quantity, receiving gifts of a lower level several times. By the way, combat missions are updated every day at 3:00, so you will have plenty of time to achieve your goal.

Toy levels and a little about crafting

Due to the fact that for completing missions there are gifts of levels 1-4, the contents of the boxes also differ in quality, the rotation is approximately as follows:
1. In the 1st level box, toys will also be predominantly of the 1st level;
2. In the 2nd level box – 2nd level toys;
3. In the third level box there are toys of the 3rd level;
4. In the 4th level box there are toys of the 4th level.

It is also worth noting that by completing New Year’s offensive missions in World of Tanks you will receive not only Christmas tree decorations, players will also be awarded regular and gold consumables, combat reserves, premium account days and other amenities.

In total, the decorations are presented in 8 types, 4 for the tank and 4 for the Christmas tree, but there are many more variations in appearance, here you will find pine cones, balls, Christmas socks, Santa Clauses, snowmen, “rain”, garlands, star-shaped tops and much, much more different, and even in different colors.

Regarding how to decorate a Christmas tree in tanks, everything is quite simple - we go into battle, carry out combat missions and hang toys from gifts on the tree and the tank.

Christmas tree decoration process

Initially, you will receive toys of the first level and as you decorate the WoT Christmas tree and the tank with the simplest toys, you will be able to increase the holiday atmosphere to level 4-5.

By completing more complex combat missions, other toys will be obtained from the boxes, up to level 4, so the better the decorations hang on the New Year's beauty and tank, the higher your holiday atmosphere in the hangar will be.

However, over time, you will have more and more low-level decorations in your hangar, and they will lose their relevance, because better ones (3-4 levels) will appear. To prevent ordinary balls, cones and garlands from lying around idle, you can transform them into better decorations.

To do this, you need to accumulate 5 toys of a certain level, click on the “Convert Decorations” button in the New Year’s menu, place them in the cells and perform the “New Year’s Witchcraft”. Thus, from five toys of the 1st level you will get one toy of the second, from 5 pieces of the 2nd level you will get 1 toy of the 3rd level, and so on.

With this simple method, even if you do not perform the most complex combat missions, but are content with small ones every day, your World of Tanks Christmas tree, and with it the tank, will become so beautiful that the hangar will achieve the final holiday atmosphere.

Awards for festive atmosphere

As mentioned earlier, as you decorate the tree and the tank, the degree of festive atmosphere in your hangar will increase. A total of 10 levels are available, at each of which prizes await tankers:
1. At the first level, the reward is a light premium tank of the second level of Sweden L-60 and a slot for it in the hangar.
2. 100% discount on the purchase of a second level tank destroyer Pvlvv fm/42, that is, when completing the Swedish tank destroyer branch, you will have to learn the vehicle for experience, but you will not have to spend silver on its purchase. French light tank tier 5. Most players use LT for reconnaissance. This type of gameplay is full of fun and adrenaline. However, there is one machine that can not only engage in reconnaissance, but also distribute very real damage. "Yelka" is not only the most popular French tank, but also the most common Tier 5 "firefly". Let's look at why it turned out this way.

Historical reference

In the post-war years, the French focused on the development of airborne troops, which urgently needed an air-transportable fire support vehicle weighing up to 7 tons. Many companies took part in the tender, but engineers coped with the task best AMX, who took the chassis of a small ammunition carrier and installed a hastily developed turret on it.

The resulting equipment was assigned to tank destroyers. The crew had to consist of two people, and the driver was located in the turret, which made it impossible to turn it while moving. After minor modifications to the chassis and strengthening of the armor, the Elka received the prefix bis. And a place in the dustbin of history. The tank did not go into production; prototypes were sent to a museum.

Gaming characteristics

Protection

The Elka has essentially no armor - 25 mm in the forehead and 10-15 mm around the perimeter do not protect even from small-caliber machine guns. Caterpillars can sometimes eat damage from the flanks, but an immobilized firefly is a dead firefly. Sliding ricochets do happen - due to the beveled profile - but you shouldn't count on them. It is better to avoid hits altogether, otherwise 400 units of strength will melt away like smoke under the enemy’s high-explosive hail.

Firepower

Our cardboard armor is compensated by the top Yolka gun - 90 mm D. 915. Armor penetration with a basic projectile (170 mm) and damage (240 units) will upset many at the level and even higher. The sub-caliber generally measures 248 mm, but for the fifth level such high figures are even unnecessary.

The disadvantages of the gun are slow reloading and decent unmasking when fired with a muzzle brake. For this reason, cautious players often choose a pre-top gun 75mm SA44, which is an order of magnitude worse, but shoots out of the bushes like a machine gun.

The vertical aiming angles are standard - ±15 degrees. But you will hardly use them. The low silhouette will not allow you to shoot from behind obstacles: folds of terrain, rocks and hills.

Dynamics

And here is the engine SOFAM 8 Gxb at 250 hp for a 7-ton car - a clear overkill. Sometimes the Elka develops such speed that it becomes difficult to control. Inept drivers often crash while bouncing up hills or roll over on sharp turns. Thanks to the new game engine!

Top tracks inherited from the modification bis, give a slight increase in maneuverability: from 36 to 38 degrees/sec. But that’s not even the main thing. The increase in carrying capacity by more than half a ton will be very useful when it comes to installing a new 90 mm gun.

Detection and communication

Our communication is not very good. Stock radio station ER 52 provides communication at a distance of only 300 m, and improved ER 53- at 360 meters. The overview coincides with the top radio, so you can’t shoot very far.

The only thing that saves ELC AMX- the lowest detection rate in the game, which makes “Yelka” one of the best active fireflies in the game. With top-end camouflage, you can drive around almost in front of the enemy’s nose.

Pumping and equipment

The path to "Yolka" lies through a French tank. This is a fairly slow technique and changing from it to a high-speed one ELC AMXbis uncomfortable. But if you played it diligently and upgraded all the modules, then a surprise awaits you - a top radio station ER 53!

As soon as the Yolka gets into the hangar, pump out the top tracks and engine. All the same, you will earn your first credits and experience in the light of day. And only after this can the guns be gradually improved.

The crew is pumped into a hybrid of tank destroyers and tank destroyers. Remember that the ELC has only two crew members, so the commander combines the duties of gunner and loader. First of all, open “Sixth Sense” for him, and “Disguise” for the driver. Then the commander finishes off the camouflage, and the driver improves his driving skills. Next - “Combat Brotherhood”.

The choice of special equipment depends on what style you are going to play at the Yolka. The assault version includes a Rammer, Reinforced Aiming Drives and Coated Optics. Zasadny gravitates towards “Camouflage Network”, “Rammer” and “StereoTube”. For fans of both tactics, crossed setups are possible.

Among the consumables, be sure to take the “First Aid Kit” (to treat the irreplaceable commander) and the “Small Repair Kit” (sometimes it saves). They rarely set you on fire, so put either “Strong Coffee” or “105-octane gasoline” in the third slot.

ELC AMXbis- the most flexible tank at the fifth level. He can be both a firefly and a tank destroyer in the same battle. There are often situations when you rush along the front line, dodging stray projectiles, although a few seconds before you were intensely peering into the sight from the forest plantation.

Thanks to its stealth and low profile, the Elka is the best passive light. The only thing that spoils it is the lack of a rotating turret. Therefore, turn to where the enemy is most likely to appear. Keep in mind that any careless movement of the body will reset the effects of the camouflage net and stereo tube, mandatory attributes of good passive exposure.

But not all maps are suitable for observation from the bushes. So sometimes you will rely on the ELC speed. When cutting across the field in the crosshairs of the sights, try to often change the trajectory of movement. Never move parallel to the shelling - this will make it harder for the enemy to hit you.

If your safety margin is running low, go to the second line. A living tank destroyer will bring more benefit to your team than a dead scout hero. Under no circumstances should you try to work as a firefly killer - most of them have rotating turrets and machine guns. Your gun, on the contrary, takes a long time to aim and the sight takes up half the screen while moving due to poor stabilization.

Oddly enough, in the fight against heavy and clumsy tanks you have a better chance of winning. Remember two tricks. First - go to the rear at speed, shoot and make a loop to escape retaliation. Repeat the maneuver until the enemy's engine lights up. The second is to get close to the enemy tank and shoot with impunity in the NLD. This is possible because many cars at the level have lousy air defense systems. The main thing is that your opponent does not climb on you and crush you.
