We take a long piece of wire, wind one of the ends into a spiral, string a transparent bead, create a loop, followed by two more loops, twist the ends with loops. We proceed to the next part of the snowflake, thread the bead, create a long loop, press it with our fingers, create two more such loops next to it, twist all three loops one at a time. We do the same with the next parts of the snowflake. From the remaining piece of wire we create a cobweb in the center; to do this, we lead the wire from one ray of the snowflake to another, each time wrapping the ray at the center. You can tie a silver thread to the finished snowflake and hang it on the Christmas tree.

Snowflakes from plastic bottles.

We cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle with a knife, take a thin brush and paint a snowflake on the cut part of the bottle with acrylic paint. Finally, using an awl on top, we create two holes into which we thread a rope to hang the product.

Using a stationery knife, cut the slightly flattened paper towel tube into rings 5-7 mm wide. We lay out a snowflake out of them on the table (the product can be supplemented with elements of their paper), glue all the parts with polymer glue or Moment glue. Cover the top of the snowflake with a layer of PVA glue and sprinkle with small sparkles.

Felt snowflakes.

We cut the felt fabric into circles (you can try using cotton pads), use a sewing machine and colored threads to draw out the outlines of the snowflakes, then use scissors to cut out their outlines.

To work, you will need three pieces of wire; they must be soldered or glued together with a glue gun in the center. We cut off a short part of the woolen threads, soak it in PVA glue, and apply it to the drawn parts. When all parts of the snowflake are pasted over, use the spout of a bottle of PVA glue to draw the snowflakes piece by piece, covering them with adhesive film. Then we dip the brush into blue gouache and paint the applied layer of glue. We leave the snowflake to dry; when the product is dry, carefully separate it from the parchment or film.

Snowflakes with a hot gun.

We grease a sheet of parchment with rich hand cream, use a glue gun to draw the outline of a snowflake, after the snowflake has hardened, we grease its surface with PVA glue and sprinkle it with glitter. Using a glue gun, glue a string pendant onto the back side.

We lay out two identical lattices from toothpicks, gluing them with PVA glue, then we wrap each of them at the joints with thread. Then we lay one lattice on top of the other, slightly mixing it clockwise, gluing it to each other with transparent polymer glue or Moment.

On a piece of paper, draw with a pen and measure out the shape of a snowflake with a ruler. Then we take several boxes of matches and light each match to give them the desired color. Then we glue the matches to the surface of the shape cut out of cardboard. The length of the matches can be adjusted by cutting off the excess with scissors.

Cover a sheet of parchment with a layer of hand cream, then draw the outline of a snowflake with PVA glue, sprinkle the product with fine glitter, and leave to dry completely. Then we carefully separate the frozen snowflake from the surface of the parchment (a video is presented at the end of the article).

On a sheet of paper we draw six squares, in each of the squares we draw three more squares. We cut out large squares and bend each one in the middle. Using scissors, we do not completely cut along the lines. We unfold the square, fold the first row of strips, gluing them together with PVA glue or connecting them with a stapler. Turn the square over and connect the next row of strips. Then turn the square over again and connect the next row of strips with glue or a stapler. The same should be done with the next five squares. When all the parts of the snowflake are ready, they need to be connected together, pinned with a stapler.

We take a square textile napkin, bend all four corners to the center, and also bend the newly formed four corners to the center. Turn the napkin over, bend the corners towards the center, holding it with your hand. We pull the corners out, carefully straightening them with our hands; between the rays of the snowflake we also straighten the corners outwards. Place the snowflake on a plate, and place a large rhinestone or cone in its center.

3. Now we fold everything in half and cut off the excess.
4. Draw and carefully cut out.

Option 2:

1. Fold the square diagonally.
2. Fold it in half again.
3. Now we fold the left and right sides as in the figure, the angles are also 60º and 120º. You should also end up with two identical triangles. Cut off the excess.

This type of snowflake is the most common. It is quite simple and the snowflake looks beautiful.

Octagonal snowflake.

This way you can roll a snowflake, but cutting it out is difficult, although it looks even more interesting.

1. Fold the square diagonally.
2. Then in half.
3. Another half.
4. And in half again.
5. Cut out the design and carefully unfold it.

And from them you can make a three-dimensional star. To do this, you just need to cut out several identical templates, glue them together and you get a wonderful three-dimensional snowflake. Here's an example:

There is nothing complicated in this format; we make it like a regular hexagonal star according to option 1. Everything is in the pattern. We make slits and when we unfold the snowflake, we bend some of the edges and we get a three-dimensional snowflake. It turns out very beautifully.

Using scissors, cut out 12 identical strips. you can take a width of 0.5 cm and a height of 10 cm. If you want a larger snowflake, then double the size.

Step 1.

First we will make 6 identical squares. You can also use multi-colored paper. But it needs to be dense so that the snowflake holds its shape.

Step 2.

Now we bend all the squares diagonally. We make 3 cuts on each side facing each other. But leave a gap of about 1 cm between the cuts.

Step 3.

Now let's unfold it. Glue the middle. Then we turn it over and glue the nearest strips on the other side.

We turn it over again and glue the nearest strips. Turn over again and glue the strips together. The result is a beautiful three-dimensional figure.

Step 4.

Now we do the same with the remaining five squares.

We fasten three figures together at the very bottom (at the tip).

Snowflakes using quilling technique.

This is a more complex technique that requires more perseverance, but it opens up a huge world for imagination. Quilling is the art of making different shapes from strips of paper, twisted into a spiral and glued together with glue. This is how you can describe it.

What you will need for this:

1. Paper strips. Various thicknesses: from 3 mm to 10 mm. The volume of the figure depends on the thickness.
2. A stick with an eye is the main tool in this matter. They wrap strips with it. If this is not the case, then you can use a regular awl or pencil.
3. PVA glue.
4. Toothpick for applying glue. Or something like that.
5. Stencils for different circles. There is a ruler with stencils of different diameters of circles.

   10. We glue the squares to the large round elements, having first turned them into the shape of rhombuses.

A traditional, familiar and beloved room decoration for the New Year holidays is paper snowflakes. They can be large and small, voluminous and flat, single and in a garland. There are a lot of options, everyone will choose the right one for themselves, and in the article we will look at the most basic ways of how you can make snowflakes for the New Year with your own hands from paper with a detailed description and photographs.

For work we will need 1 A4 sheet; it can be colored or white. Fold it exactly in half lengthwise, then into an accordion. The edge of the accordion is two centimeters. Unfold and cut in half along the fold line. We received 2 identical accordions.

On the outside of the accordion we draw the outlines of a snowflake, as in video 1, and cut it out. We draw the second accordion and cut it out in the same way.

We glue openwork accordions together and fasten the middle with glue. We received a beautiful carved snowflake.

Huge snowflakes made from paper bags

Let's try to make three-dimensional ones with our own hands for the New Year; step-by-step photos with descriptions are given below. These paper snowflakes are very unusual and interesting.

They turn out to be voluminous and beautiful due to the fact that they need to be made from paper bags, which you can buy or pre-glue yourself.

For this work we need (for 1 snowflake):

1. Paper bags 30 * 9 cm.
2. Cardboard strips 20 * 9 cm and 20 * 1 cm.
3. A simple pencil and a ruler.
4. Scissors.
5. Glue or thin double-sided tape.

We make a snowflake like this:

1. On cardboard 20 by 9 cm, draw a template of one repeating part and cut it out.
2. We transfer the template to bags and cut it out. For 1 snowflake you need to use 10 bags, from which we will get 10 rays of a snowflake.
3. Next, in the center we glue each ray with the neighboring one. To do this, spread a strip of glue or glue double-sided tape or adhesive tape.
4. We unfold our volumetric snowflake and also fasten the outer rays together.

Any snowflakes can be lightly smeared along the edges with glue and sprinkled with glitter, or brushed over them with a dry brush, with a small amount of paint of any color, this way you can shade the snowflake.

Star - snowflake

For this amazing and unusual, bright star - a snowflake, we need:

1. Colored paper. Sheets 11 by 16 cm. Six sheets of different shades.
2. Glue and scissors.

We roll each sheet into a tube and glue it, then fold it in half and cut it into 2 even parts. We glue all the parts, placing them on top of each other.

Cut off the top of the entire stack into a sharp corner on both sides. Unfold the stack and glue the ends together. The result was a star with sharp tips.

Large and colorful beauties

Let's see how to make multi-colored large paper snowflakes with your own hands for the New Year. These beauties are quite easy to make, and they look bright and beautiful. They are good for decorating children's rooms, kindergarten or school. Of course, they can be made plain white, as is customary, for this you can use office paper.

For creativity we need:

1. Colored paper of any shade, preferably double-sided. For 1 snowflake you need 2 leaves.
2. Scissors.
3. Glue.

Let's start creating:

1. Fold a sheet of paper into a triangle at an angle, cut off the excess.
2. Fold in half again straight from the top.
3. Next, bend the corners of the triangle in different directions towards the middle.
4. Draw a line from the center to the corner and cut out a droplet.
5. Mark with a pencil and make cuts to create a snowflake openwork.
6. Unfold the snowflake and bend the strips of rays to the middle, glue them.
7. Make 1 more similar layer and glue them together in the center so that the rays of the top layer fall into the spaces between the rays of the lower layer.

That's all. You can hang a snowflake on a ribbon and decorate your room with it.

Snowflake using modular origami technique

Origami is a technique for creating amazing shapes from modules made from squares of paper. You can also make a snowflake using this technique. It will be unusual, beautiful and stand out from the flat and voluminous snowflakes we are used to. To work on a modular snowflake we will need:

1. Squares of single-sided blue paper 10 by 10 cm - 8 pieces.
2. Glue.

We assemble the snowflake from 8 modules. They all add up the same way:

1. Bend the square diagonally with the blue side facing out. Fold in half again and unfold
2. We bend the long side to the vertical center line and bend the corner up. Fold the other side in the same way.
3. Open the paper square.
4. Using the folds, we assemble the module in the other direction, as in video 2.
5. We do all 8 modules in exactly the same way.
6. Now we add the modules. We put the white triangle of one module into the pocket from the other module and secure it with glue.

This is how we connect all the modules. We attach the braid and the snowflake is ready.

Snowflake - fluff, made from paper squares

You can make beautiful fluffy and voluminous snowflakes for the New Year with your own hands from squares of paper. Colored squares can be cut out from double-sided colored paper or take office paper to write in the shape of squares. 1 snowflake will take 6 squares.

To work you will need:

1. One and a half sheet of colored double-sided paper, from which we will make squares.
2. Scissors.
3. Glue.

We make a snowflake like this:

1. Cut out 6 squares, or use ready-made squares.
2. Fold them diagonally into a triangle.
3. Cut into strips 0.5 or 1 cm wide towards the center so that the center remains uncut.
4. These will be fluffy rays of a snowflake. Now we glue each ray one by one at the ends, then in one direction, then in the other.
5. Now let's connect 3 rays each, and then glue all three together in the center.

The main thing is to do everything carefully and follow the instructions. The snowflake will turn out to be joyful, fluffy and cheerful; it can decorate a nursery or any other room.

Shining fluff

This type of fall snowflake is similar to the method of making carved snowflakes from paper, which you can easily and quickly make with your own hands for the New Year. But we will sprinkle it with sparkles, and it will begin to shine. For one snowflake we again need 6 squares, one for each ray.

We make a snowflake according to the description given above. We use squares for snowflakes for recording or cut our own according to your size and any color. Then we make glitter. We take tinsel and cut its terry finely onto a sheet of paper. Then coat the snowflake rays lightly with glue and dab them into glitter. Attach the braid to the snowflake and safely hang it on the Christmas tree or wall.

New Year's fluff

Now let's figure out how to make beautiful snowflakes - paper fluffs with your own hands for the New Year. These are fluffy and weightless creatures; they will create an amazing winter, New Year's mood in the room. They are easy to make; all you need is paper, scissors and glue.

For 1 fluff we need to make 3 squares of different sizes. They should have a side of 20 cm, 15 cm and 10 cm.

We fold these squares diagonally into a triangle three times, cut out a ray and cut them, forming fluff. Then we unfold them and glue them together, placing smaller ones on top of the largest layer.

That's all, the fluffs are ready. They can be mounted on the wall, on curtains, and so on. You can sprinkle them with glitter or make them colorful using double-sided colored paper.

Snowflakes in an unusual technique

To create a large fluffy snowflake, you can use napkins and the trimming technique. To do this, you need to cut out a large snowflake template from thick paper. It should be very simple, just 8 rays from the center. Next, prepare the napkins by cutting them into squares. Take any shade of napkins you like.

Now we do this:

1. Coat a piece of beam with PVA glue.
2. We twist 1 square of napkin onto a stick and attach it to the surface coated with glue. So we fill the entire snowflake, attaching each subsequent square quite tightly.
3. The closer the napkin pieces are to each other, the fluffier the snowflake will be.

This snowflake should be hung on a ribbon or placed on a table or shelf. It can be decorated with sparkles or any small decorative elements, or supplemented with artificial spruce branches.

After all, it is natural that on the eve of the New Year holidays, each family member strives to take part in the festive bustle and make their contribution to the general preparations at home for the New Year and Christmas. Adults buy gifts, think about the menu for holiday dishes, and make the necessary purchases.

At the same time, our children are working hard to create various New Year decorations and original gifts for family and friends. All kinds of homemade Christmas tree decorations, various paper crafts, postcards and other masterpieces of children's creativity fill every home.

Snowflakes are an invariable attribute of the New Year. Paper, plastic bottles, wire, old disks - these and other materials are used to create the most incredible, fantastic, but undoubtedly beautiful snowflakes.

In this article I will offer you several options for creating snowflakes from the classic and most accessible material - paper. Paper snowflakes are the most common and popular. And most importantly, even small children can make snowflakes out of paper.

How to make a 3D paper snowflake

First, let's make an unusual, but very easy to make, voluminous snowflake.

We will need six sheets of white paper (preferably in A4), scissors, glue or stapler, pencil and ruler.

The first step is from rectangular sheets A4 we make 6 squares (Fig. 1) - I think no one needs to explain how this is done.

We fold each square diagonally to get a double triangle (Fig. 2). On each side, at equal intervals, as seen in Fig. 3, draw lines, not reaching approximately half a centimeter to the center of the triangle. We make cuts along these lines. We unfold the figure and proceed directly to forming the body of the snowflake (Fig. 4).

We twist the edges of the smallest central cut towards each other to form a kind of tube. We secure them with glue or a stapler (Fig. 5). We perform the same procedure with all the remaining cuts, with each subsequent turn being made in the opposite direction from the previous one. You should get a figure like in Fig. 6. This is one of the 6 rays of our snowflake.

We make 5 more such figures and fasten them with the tips of three (Fig. 7). We get 2 blanks, which, in turn, we fasten at the ends in the middle into one figure (Fig. 8). We also fasten the rays on their sides, to each other, so that our snowflake holds its shape.

The final touch is to attach a ribbon or thread to one top (Fig. 9).

The volumetric snowflake is ready!

How to make a beautiful paper snowflake - origami

A snowflake using the origami technique is more complex and requires more time and effort. Not every child can make such a snowflake. For kids, the process of creating origami snowflakes may seem too time-consuming and complicated. Therefore, if you want to invite your child to make a similar snowflake, take into account the age and character of your child.

To make an origami snowflake, we need a sheet of paper, as well as patience and dexterous fingers (preferably better than mine).

First we need to make a hexagon. To do this, take a square sheet of paper and fold it in half twice to get clear fold lines (Fig. 1).

We wrap one of the corners of the square towards the center (Fig. 2). We bend the top of the resulting triangle downwards, aligning one of the sides of the triangle along the bottom fold line (Fig. 2–3). Don't forget to outline the edges well.

Expand it (Fig. 4). Fold the square in half so that the lines of the previous folds form shapes, as in Fig. 5. Turn the resulting rectangle over and fold it as in Fig. 6. Pay attention to the designated points A, B, C and their location (Fig. 5–6). A prerequisite is that the fold line must be laid from the point B to the point C(Fig. 6).

We fold the opposite side of our figure towards the previous figure and align the edges (Fig. 7).

We measure the line from the corner of the last fold, as in

rice. 7, and cut off the unnecessary part (Fig. 7–8).

We unfold the figure - a hexagon with clearly defined six triangles in the middle, ready (Fig. 9).

We wrap one of the sides of the hexagon, which forms a trapezoid, towards the center, and outline the fold line (Fig. 10). We return it to its original position and perform the same manipulations with the remaining sides. We expand it and get a hexagon with many small triangles inside (Fig. 11).

We begin to fold the snowflake. Again we bend one of the sides towards the middle. Line A— B(Fig. 10), align along the edge of the fold, as shown in Fig. 12–13.

We do the same with the remaining edges (Fig. 14). It will be easy to fold, since all the folds will go along the sides of the small triangles we laid out in advance from Fig. eleven.

The last side doesn't turn out quite right. In order to correct the situation, we take out the inner triangle from under the bottom (Fig. 15) and place it on the last side. It will become clearer to you when you get to this stage and see everything for yourself.

The result should be a kind of pinwheel (Fig. 16).

We lift the “blades” of our pinwheel and, lightly pressing it in the middle with a finger, first make a pocket (Fig. 17), and then press it to the base, as in Fig. 18. We do this with each “blade” and get six irregular quadrangles on the top of the workpiece (Fig. 18).

We bend the opposite corners of each quadrilateral to its center line, and we get six rhombuses with two triangles at the bottom of each (Fig. 19–20).

We turn the bottom corner of the diamond, which is hidden under the upper triangles, upward. We pull it to the top of the rhombus, opening and pressing the sides so that we get a rhombus consisting of two halves (Fig. 21–22).

When we have done the same actions with the remaining five rays, we get a six-pointed star on a hexagonal base (Fig. 23).

We bend each corner of the hexagon towards the center of the figure, making clear fold lines and returning it to its original position (Fig. 24). We turn the figure over (Fig. 25).

Again we bend the corner of the hexagon towards the center, but from this side. We bend the next corner and perform manipulations similar to those outlined in Fig. 11–15, but instead of trapezoids, we use triangles here.

As shown in Fig. 26, we take half of the whole triangle, getting a smaller triangle, and visually divide it in half. And this middle line, while bending the next corner of the hexagon, is aligned along the fold line of the previous one (Fig. 27). And we do this with each side. The edge of the latter, as in the previous case, do not forget to remove it from under the bottom of the first fold.

Again we get a pinwheel, but this time inside a six-pointed star (Fig. 28). And again we make pockets from the “blades” and press them to the base (Fig. 29–30).

Moving on to the next step, pay attention to the red arrow (Fig. 29). She points to the triangle, which, after the manipulations we did, ended up underneath. We take the edge of this triangle and pull it up, as shown in Fig. 31. After this, the corners of the upper figure will appear below (Fig. 31), and a figure with six rhombuses will be formed on top (Fig. 32).

Turn the workpiece over to the reverse side. Here we also see six rhombuses, but with a slightly different configuration (Fig. 33).

We take a triangle formed by one side of one rhombus and one side of another (I outlined it with red lines in Fig. 33) and bend it upward to the maximum possible extent. We do the same with the remaining triangles (Fig. 34).

Turn the figure over again. You see, now we have a star with twelve rays - 6 large and 6 small (I outlined them in red - Fig. 35).

Now we lightly turn away the edges of the large rays and let the edges of the small ones inside so that they “catch” onto the main figure. Their corners should be directly under the large rays (Fig. 36).

And the final touch: we bend the edges of each rhombus forming large rays towards the center (Fig. 37) so that between each of the rays we get 2 small triangles (Fig. 38).

So our origami snowflake is ready.

These snowflakes are best made from translucent paper and then attached to glass. This way they look much more impressive. But first, to get better at it, practice on regular office paper.

As you can see, I still didn’t have enough practice, and therefore the snowflake turned out a little clumsy.

Snowflake – kirigami

Kirigami is a type of origami, but in the process of creating shapes you are allowed to use scissors and cut paper.

Kirigami snowflakes are very simple to make, and the manufacturing technique differs little from ordinary paper ones, but they look much more original.

First we need to make a regular hexagon, from which we can make a proportional six-pointed snowflake. To do this, you can use the manufacturing template below.

Using a protractor, draw an angle of 60° on a piece of paper (Fig. 1). As in previous cases, we take a square sheet of paper, fold it diagonally and place it on the drawing, as shown in Fig. 2. Fold the rice accordingly. 3–4.

Or you can make a hexagon the same way we made it when making origami snowflakes (see Fig. 1–7 from the chapter Snowflake origami).

I chose to make a hexagon using the already familiar option.

Having received the blank of the desired shape, we apply a design to it. We cut it along the contour and make the remaining necessary cuts along the lines.

We bend the parts of the snowflake according to the cuts in different directions.

In accordance with my drawing, the result was such an unusual - not simple, classic, but not quite voluminous - snowflake. For beauty, I painted it and decorated it with shiny sequins (the letter A the blank and the corresponding finished product are marked).

Next to it, I have provided you with another version of the kirigami snowflake.

Classic paper snowflakes

Classic snowflakes are the easiest to make and their creation does not require much time and labor.

As in previous cases, first of all, you need to make hexagon blanks. I already told you how to make them earlier.

We apply a pattern for cutting onto the prepared blanks. You can use my drawing as a basis, you can find templates on the Internet, or you can come up with an original drawing yourself.

I prepared three versions of snowflakes at once. I marked with letters the corresponding blanks with a pattern, already cut out and directly finished snowflakes.
