I was pleasantly surprised when I received an SMS from RIVE GAUCHE that I have I have accumulated 1500 points and I can spend them on purchases. 1 point = 1 ruble.

In general, I even began to treat birthday gifts in RIVE GAUCHE with contempt when they first gave me a shower gel for men, and then some kind of scarf, when not only did I buy 10,000 rubles to get a gold card, and then some more (I already forgot how much, but it was a whole epic) to receive a gift for DR.

So in next year after such gifts, I didn’t buy so actively at RIVE GAUCHE, but sometimes (staggering aimlessly in the store) I helped other buyers with my gold card when they wanted to buy (perfume or something else expensive, but they didn’t have a gold card; most often in this position are men who make gifts) - I did it from pure heart, in a fit of spirit, not knowing about such a wonderful bonus program.

But it turned out that 5% of my purchases from me went into bonuses.

And so I came to RIVE GAUCHE with a dream to spend 1500 on my beloved.

I didn’t understand the features of the program right away, so now I’ll voice them here again (I didn’t find this on their website and, fortunately, I read it at the checkout):

When buying with these points, you need to look at the price that is NOT ON THE GOLD CARD, but at the price without a discount, i.e. if the perfume costs 2800 rubles. /for a gold card 1900 rubles, we proceed from the price of 2800 rubles. I immediately took this into account and tried to find those perfumes that already had a yellow price tag, i.e. the price for a gold card and without a card is the same, so that it is not so insulting.
But already at the checkout it turned out that with these bonuses I can pay NO MORE THAN HALF of the purchase, i.e. if I want to spend all 1500 bonuses, then I had to choose products for 3000 rubles. total price without discount. (this is also not written on the site, but such a TRICK was to be expected, could it not be a direct gift-gift).

I had 3 options:

Choose something else for yourself for 1500 at the yellow price tag (not so offensive, there is no difference in discounts), dial 3000 in total and pay 1500 RIVE GAUCH;

Stop at this choice and pay 750 rubles and lose points by 750 rubles, they will expire 7 days after the date of the DR;

Or find something for 3000 at a price without discounts and calm down.

In general, I got so tired of such a choice that I still chose perfumes for 2800 without a discount (I just didn’t want anything other than these perfumes by that time) (the price on a gold card is 1900 or something like that), kind girl at the checkout, she wrote off all the points for me, i.e. more than half (otherwise they would have burned out 7 days after the date of the DR), i.e. 2800 cost without discounts-1500 my points = 1300 rubles. I still left RIVE GAUSH, if I bought this perfume without a bonus program, I would spend 1900, so we will assume that they gave me 1900-1300 = 600 rubles.

So spend your points wisely. I liked that there is such a bonus program. Already this year I will thoroughly prepare for a gift for the next DR.
