After the collapse of the USSR, there was a strange period when Defender of the Fatherland Day was celebrated very modestly and even bashfully: they simply congratulated men out of habit, trying not to focus on the fact that they, first of all, are OUR DEFENDERS.

Balloons now come in all colors and shades, so I think it’s not so difficult to choose a green color scheme that everyone present will associate with the camouflage clothing of our soldiers.

There are also ready-made camouflage balloons. It’s even simpler here - you don’t need to select any shades.

From balls of these shades you can weave a garland of 4 balls or simply place balls with ribbons under the ceiling. By the way, it is better to make ribbons in the colors of the Russian tricolor.

Russian flag

Naturally, you can use ready-made flags and small flags made of fabric and other materials. Nowadays, you can order flags of all sizes for delivery in two clicks. To decorate for February 23, a few bright “touches” in addition to the green balls are enough.

Another good option for creating a huge flag is polysilk. This is a non-woven material that is sold in rolls. It is not afraid of moisture and is very light. This flag can be made to cover an entire wall.

Another notable decoration for our room on February 23rd are large balloon figures. In principle, you can make a tank, an airplane or a comic figure of a soldier in uniform, but more often they stop at the numbers “23” of impressive size. They can be 2 meters in height.

The simplest option is foil balloons in the form of numbers. They can be filled with helium or inflated with regular air (in this case you need to attach them to the wall). Such numbers come in different colors, sizes - from 30 cm to 2 meters. Sold in online holiday-themed stores. In many more “Everything for the Holiday” stores. They are sold folded, take up very little space and can be used multiple times. Naturally, we are interested in red and gold stars. By the way, they go well with floor decorations made of balls.

Pompoms

At first glance, paper pompoms do not look manly. They are too airy and frivolous. But! I suddenly saw that the white and bright red pompoms were very reminiscent of carnations - the same flowers that are on almost all men's cards. Do you agree? .

Nowadays you can buy a poster of any size; there are a lot of offers on the Internet. These can be modern posters or copies with propaganda stories from the Second World War. If you decide to base your holiday on sports competitions, use balloons to create a festive mood. You can make, for example, garlands from balls of two contrasting colors, or use tape to attach a whole panel to the wall, depicting, for example, a helicopter, plane or other military equipment. Or you can simply make letters out of balloons to create the inscription “Defender of the Fatherland Day.”

If you are ready to surprise and delight your child with a festive interior, then you will have to spend a little time preparing.
