We are preparing for the new year! If your children are between 3 and 8 years old, make this Christmas tree with them with your own hands.

My daughter and I made it quickly, literally in an hour and a half. True, it took more time to prepare, since not everyone was at home. I had to buy cotton pads: you need a lot of them, at least 3 large packs.

How to make a simple Christmas tree from ordinary cotton pads - step-by-step master class

Preparing materials for New Year's crafts

For the master class we must prepare:

  • Lots of cotton pads, at least 3 packs
  • Cardboard for base
  • Glue (I had a "Moment")
  • Tinsel, beads, colored satin ribbons
  • Jar or other container for a stand
  • Cylindrical stick for the trunk
  • Scissors

Stage 1 - Making the base for the Christmas tree

Let's make a base-cap for the crown. Let's cut out a regular cone from cardboard, glue it and let it dry. It should look like this in the photo:

Note: Our friends made the base not from cardboard, but from foam plastic. Then you don’t need to glue cotton pads, they will stick tailor's pins. They say it works faster this way.

Stage 2 - Forming the crown for the Christmas tree

Fold each cotton pad in half. And in half again. It turns out to be a kind of petal. Apply glue to the place where the two folds meet and press firmly to the base. Let's take turns! We do it gradually, on top of each other, in a checkerboard pattern. See photo:

Stage 3 - collecting our Christmas tree

Our Christmas tree must be stable. So, let's “plant” it in a pot. To do this, take any container you like, decorate it as desired, and secure the barrel in it.

What is suitable as a trunk? Tube from cling film or foil, for example. Or any suitable cylindrical stick. Secure the trunk to the bottom of the pot using glue, plasticine, and plaster.

Now the crucial moment: we secure the crown of the tree to the trunk. This can be done using a suitable circle of cardboard, which will hold the base of our craft. Everything is clearly visible in the photo:

We decorate the Christmas tree and pot with any ribbons, beads, toys, bows. That's all! Our Christmas tree ready from cotton pads!

We found it on YouTube good video, according to which we learned to make this craft. This master class may be useful to you too. Watch it with your children, it’s so great to prepare for the New Year together!

Options for New Year's crafts made from cotton pads

And this is just one way to make a forest beauty from cotton pads. Here's something else you can do:

Use our ideas to make New Year's crafts - and let your Christmas tree be the most beautiful!

New Year is coming soon, and on New Year's Day the most important thing in the house is considered to be elegant Christmas tree. Therefore, I suggest you watch a master class on making a Christmas tree with your own hands from cotton pads, the author of this master class is Marina Bobkova. Marinachka showed us in detail how you can make a wonderful Christmas tree from cotton pads with your own hands.

To make a Christmas tree we will need:
* Cotton pads.
* Stapler.
* Moment glue or heat gun.
* Beads for decoration.
* Cardboard.
* White acrylic paint.
* White braid.
* Tinsel.

How to make a Christmas tree with your own hands:
To make the Christmas tree we will need cotton pads; Marina took four packages of 100 pieces to make the Christmas tree. We will make needles for our Christmas tree from cotton pads; we need to make a huge number of them. Take a cotton pad and bend it in half. Then we bend it in half again and use a stapler to secure it. We do the same thing with steel wool pads. Of course, here you need to have a little patience, since there are a lot of disks to process))

We get these needles from cotton pads to make our Christmas tree.

When all the needles are ready, we can start making the frame. We need to make a cone, you choose the height of the Christmas tree yourself, Marina’s tree height is about 50 cm. If suddenly you made a large Christmas tree and it turns out that you don’t have enough needles, then don’t worry, you can finish them. And so we make a cone, for this we draw a circle on thick cardboard and then cut it out. The height of your cone will depend on the radius of this circle. The larger the radius, the higher the cone will be.

We take white braid and paste it at the base, around the cone. We paint the cone itself white acrylic paint.

This is how it should work out.

When the frame dries, we begin to glue needles on it. We start gluing them from the bottom up. First we glue one row, then the second and so on until the end.

Look what beautiful Christmas tree We make it from cotton pads.

When the tree is ready, you need to decorate it at your discretion. Here, as your imagination tells you. Marina decorated our beauty with gold and silver beads. You can leave it unchanged, it turned out very beautiful anyway.

The Christmas tree is ready, but what else is our beauty missing? Of course the stars. Using the template, we draw two blanks on cardboard, cut them out and glue them together. Then we need to color our star to make it even more beautiful. We paint it with gold acrylic in several layers and decorate it with thin tinsel.

Glue the finished star in the right place.

So our DIY Christmas tree made from cotton pads is ready...

I want to give you little advice: It is better to use discs that are not fluffy, so your Christmas tree will last you longer and will look more beautiful.

The wolves told the news,
The forty brought news,
What a tree in the dense forest
There is a decorated one!

The animals heard the news,
We ran through the forests.
Everyone wants to check for themselves
Look at the tree for yourself.

For whom, why, where
Did this miracle appear?
Who brought the Christmas tree here?
Isn't it Santa Claus himself?

Is there time to figure it out?
Who brought it, why did they take it away?
Ah, foxes, squirrels, hares,
Open a noisy ball!

To create a Christmas tree, we will need a huge number of needles made from cotton pads (I used 2 packages of 100 pieces each, but it depends on the size of the cone of your Christmas tree)
Take one cotton pad and bend it in half, then bend it in half again. Secure it with a stapler.
Now you need to repeat this process of folding the disk many, many times.
This is what the petals should look like.

When you have a lot of needles ready, you need to start creating a cone for the Christmas tree. Choose the height yourself. If your cone turns out to be too large and you don’t have enough needles from the disks, don’t worry, you can always quickly finish them.

And so we make a cone, for this we draw a circle on thick cardboard and then cut it out. After this, twist and glue with a glue gun, PVA or stapler. If you made the frame from colored cardboard, paint it with white paint, otherwise it will show through the snow-white cotton pads. The height of your cone will depend on the radius of this circle. The larger the radius, the higher the cone will be.

We begin to glue needles on it. We start gluing them from the bottom up. First we glue one row, then the second and so on until the end.

When the tree is ready, you need to decorate it at your discretion. Here, as your imagination tells you

The Christmas tree is ready, but what else is our beauty missing? Of course the stars. I took a small red bow and glued it on. But if you want a star, you can make it using a template: draw two blanks on cardboard, cut them out and glue them together. Then you need to paint the star to make it even more beautiful.

We make a cone from fairly thick paper; the larger the cone, the higher the Christmas tree will be.

Then we take cotton pads and fold them according to the principle as shown in the photo.

We fix the resulting shape with a needle and thread and, using an adhesive gun or regular pins, attach the petals to the cone.

The result should be a Christmas tree, which is sprinkled with snow. All this splendor can be decorated with New Year's beads and tinsel.

We take whatmam, make a cone or bag out of it, fasten the edges of this bag, preferably with a stapler, so that the ends do not separate

Then we take cotton pads, fold them in the middle and connect the edges together, apply glue to the edge and glue it to the base

We do this until the end

Then we prepare the base: where the tree will be located and the base on which we will plant it so that the tree does not fall if something happens

We decorate the pot to your liking

Then we put a supporting base through the frame so that the lower cotton pads do not fall over time, so that the discs are fixed

On top of your head you can make whatever you want out of paper.

We decorate the Christmas tree: sparkles, serpentine, bows, etc.

    Our Christmas tree is ready

On the eve of the New Year, information about making a Christmas tree at home becomes popular and relevant. It’s not difficult to create a symbol of a long-awaited holiday with the proper knowledge and skill. Ordinary cotton pads and a little imagination will help us with this.

First, we make the frame for the future Christmas tree. Regular cardboard is suitable for its manufacture.

We install wire at the top of the Christmas tree and attach beautiful decoration. We tie bright festive bows and decorate the composition with stars. It turns out to be such a beauty.

Little lochka is cold in winter- We took the box home from the forest!

To do small note, it’s not at all necessary to spend so many cotton pads - just three is enough 😉

To begin with, we make a pyramid from each disk, flattening the disk on four sides (you can experiment and make three- or five-sided pyramids):

The shape of the resulting pyramids can be secured with a hot glue gun or simply with drops of glue.

Well, from the resulting pyramids we assemble the tray itself:

You can connect the pyramids with the same glue or stick them on a toothpick or even a match.

If you pierce the tray right through with a toothpick, then the tip of the toothpick sticking out from above can be wrapped in foil, thereby making a pin for our tray.

You can roll small balls from colored foil that will become toys, and with diamond green you can even paint the tray green 😉

If you want, you can even stick such a tray on your laptop 😉

Very beautiful tree, from cotton pads. This is a great activity for the whole family, you will have a lot of fun while making this beauty. You can decorate your house with these Christmas trees, kindergarten, or give as a gift for the New Year.

To do this, we will need a lot of cotton pads, which we fold and fasten with derakol, as in the photo.

As soon as our disks are ready, we make a cone out of cardboard, the size we need, what kind of Christmas tree we need. And in rows, we will glue our disks with the corners down

This, we do to the top.

You can decorate our Christmas tree with shiny beads and a star on top.

Here is our beautiful Christmas tree, beautiful, bright and unusual.

New Year is coming soon, and my daughter and I are already thinking about how we will decorate our house, what interesting crafts will do. On the Internet we recently came across the idea of making Christmas tree from ordinary cotton pads. We liked the idea, perhaps we will bring it to life.

Here is a master class on making baubles from cotton pads:

Using glue, glue the star to the top of the tree. And our beauty is ready:

For this craft you need a cone made of cardboard or thick paper. Cut a cone and secure the cut with tape. The height of the Christmas tree depends on the length of the radius. For big Christmas tree you need a radius of at least 50 cm. Glue a white ribbon to the edge of the base of the cone and then paint the cardboard cone with acrylic paint. Prepared cotton pads are glued to the bottom in a circle. We pasted on the first circle, move on to the second circle. Conifer needles from cotton pads are made by folding the cotton pad twice. The middle is fastened with a stapler. A Christmas tree about half a meter high will require four hundred cotton pads. And then the disks are glued with the straight side.

You can make a Christmas tree from round cotton pads based on the cone.

If the edges are moistened with water and blue paint, you will get a blue Christmas tree.

To do a beautiful craft with our own hands for the New Year - we will need a Christmas tree made from cotton sponges:

    • cotton pads,
    • glue moment,
    • scissors,
    • needle and thread,
    • multi-colored beads,
    • white paper or cardboard,
    • scotch.

First, we make a cone out of paper and secure it.

We roll up the first row of cotton circles and string them on a thread,

We fix the star on top,

Glue the beads in a chaotic order

    Step-by-step master class:

Cotton pads can be used for a variety of original crafts with your own hands for the New Year. Wonderful, lush and unusual tree made from cotton pads will be a wonderful holiday decoration. You can do it with your children or on your own.

To make an elegant Christmas tree from cotton pads, you need to prepare everything you need closely and give free rein to your imagination.

Christmas tree maybe simplest craft, like an applique on the surface of cardboard in the form of a postcard or picture.

We glue cotton pads to the surface in rows, forming spruce paws and repeating the contour of the tree.

The Christmas tree applique made from cable-stayed disks can be decorated with sparkles, beads, sequins, buttons, as you like.

It’s even better to roll the cotton pads at the base and fasten them with a stapler/thread, and then form a Christmas tree applique, gluing it to the surface.

You can also make a spatial product volumetric Christmas tree. To do this, you need to take cardboard and roll it up to form a cone, gluing the parts into a single whole.

We start from the bottom and paste row by row to the top.

We fold each of the cotton pads in half and in half again, securing it with a stapler like kanzashi modules.

Cotton pads can not be rolled up, but fixed to a cardboard base like tiles. It is better to pre-color cotton pads in green color. This can be done using gouache and letting the paint dry. To decorate, we attach beads to cotton pads, then we begin to make a Christmas tree. We fix cotton pads to the cardboard base in rows using a stapler and glue.

Another simple option for making a spatial Christmas tree is Christmas decorations from cotton pads held together with thread.

    Good ideas, happy creativity!

    Have a wonderful New Year!

A Christmas tree can also be made from cotton pads, either snow-white or colored.

For all types of Christmas trees you will need a cone made of thick paper or cardboard. Cotton pads are glued onto it. Depending on the gluing method (the location of the cotton pad itself), you will get Christmas trees of different appearance.

I’ll give you a photo of Christmas trees as an example. They are so different and all beautiful.

I liked this Christmas tree most of all, delicate, airy as a cloud, decorated with bows and beads.

And this Christmas tree looks like a snow-covered one. The photo below shows how to make such a Christmas tree.

Also a nice tree, cotton pads cuts were made on all sides.

These Christmas trees are very simple, made like a nesting doll. Suitable for crafts for little ones.
