When is International Civil Aviation Day? Aviation holidays. Congratulations on Aviation Day

Civil aviation has long ceased to be something amazing. Every day, hundreds of thousands of people rise into the air, considering moving from one point of the globe to another as a common thing. We often overlook the fact that this process is controlled by aviation workers - pilots, flight attendants, technicians. And that's not all - there are airfield personnel and designers. IN civil aviation many people who have professional holiday celebrated on the ninth of February.

history of the holiday

Civil aviation has always been and remains the most important component of a unified transport system Russian Federation. Today it is a complex multi-purpose industry with a vast and diverse fleet of aircraft, with a wide network of airports, educational and scientific institutions. In addition, it has many repair enterprises, an extensive air traffic control system, as well as some other structures that ensure its vital activity.

Pilots, flight attendants and mechanics have been working for the benefit of passengers who decide to use the services of liners for about 90 years. In 1923, a special body was established in charge of passenger transportation by air. The civil aeroflot of those times was called "Dobrolet". In 1932, this aviation got its own flag. Approximately at the same time, the name was changed to have a less emotional coloring and is well known to all of us - Aeroflot.

After a few decades, the employees of this company had their own holiday, which was celebrated in mid-February. He for a long time was unofficial. In 2013, it was decided to establish a new professional holiday, while the old one was postponed to August. The relevant documents were signed by the head of state in recognition of the importance of civil aviation and respect for its employees.

The blue expanses of the fifth ocean beckon with their infinity and fascinate with the depth of sensations. The dream to conquer the heavens has long become a reality for many. How wonderful it is to soar into the sky and feel the charm of flight. But this is where the romantic notes in the work of military pilots end. The sky has long been another area where reliable protection. It is these tasks that, first of all, are performed by the Air Force of the country. It is not surprising that this army unit has its own special holiday, which is usually celebrated in mid-August.

When asked what date Russian Air Force Day is celebrated, even military aviators cannot answer unambiguously. You can hear several radically different versions concerning, first of all, the date in August. Some call the date of the Day of the Russian Air Force the 12th, others the 18th. It turns out that there are even more aviation and relatives of aviation holidays. And this is directly related to the history of the development of Soviet and Russian aviation. Nevertheless, we will try to figure out when to congratulate husbands and fathers on the holiday of heaven, what date is Air Force Day in 2018.

How aviation developed

According to archival data, the history of Russian military aviation begins in 1912, on August 12. It was on this day that an order was issued to create the first aeronautical unit.

Back in 1910, the Supreme War Ministry deployed vigorous activity for the development of this branch of the army, purchasing aircraft and training pilots. And by the middle of 1914, the unit consisted of 263 units of military aircraft.

Participation in two world wars inevitably affected the further development of the country's aviation technical potential. And by the time of the collapse of the USSR, the Navy consisted of 211 regiments, 38 divisions, 20 associations.

The historical events of the 90s weakened the power of the army at times. They did not bypass the military aviation either. Since the majority of aviation groupings and airfield networks were located on the territory of the Union republics, the technical composition of Russian aviation was reduced by almost half. The problems affected not only the availability of equipment, but also the training of pilots and engineers.

The construction of our own flight troops was launched in 1992. And the well-thought-out reforms gave great result, increasing the power of the air fleet at times:

  • January 1, 1999 - an Air Force unit was formed, merged with the Air Defense Forces;
  • 2003 - Army Aviation is transferred to the Air Force;
  • 2005 - air defense formations, primarily air defense systems, are equipped with modern anti-aircraft and anti-aircraft missile systems;
  • 2009 - transition to a brigade-battalion command and control system;
  • August 1, 2015 - the Aerospace Forces (VKS) were formed.

Such a structure air force, where military transport, long-range, operational-tactical and army aviation is concentrated, including transport and attack, fighter and bomber, reconnaissance and special, missile and space units, allows you to solve almost all strategic defense and offensive tasks.

Aviation holidays in Russia

Accordingly, each Air Force unit has its own personal professional holiday. But the birthday of aviation is invariably considered August 12, as the date of the birth of the very branch of the troops.

But until 1997, military pilots did not have their own holiday. Traditionally, all pilots and navigators, helicopter pilots and technicians performing military and civil service were congratulated on August 18 - Air Fleet Day, that is, the day of all aviation in the USSR.

Because holiday program included colorful demonstration performances of aviators, and the script included technically complex competitions in aerobatics, technology, the celebration was not tied to a date, but was held on the third Sunday of August. Such events were always attended by the high command and ordinary spectators.

The growth in importance and the emergence of new structural units of the Air Force also affected the holidays. IN different years new civil and military holidays associated with aviation have appeared:

  • February 9 - celebrate Civil Aviation Day;
  • June 1 - it is customary to celebrate the Day of the VTA of the Russian Air Force;
  • July 17 - Navy Aviation Day;
  • December 23 - congratulations on the Day of Long-Range Aviation of the Air Force of the Russian Federation.

In 1997, military aviators asked the President of the country to establish an Air Force holiday. And the corresponding Decree was signed on August 29.

Since 2006, after the date of celebration was confirmed by the Decree “On Holiday Dates”, Air Force Day, when active military men and veterans are congratulated, has become not just a holiday, but also a memorable day.

Therefore, on Air Force Day in 2017, they will traditionally be held on August 12 festive events. But many aviators out of habit will celebrate their holiday before the end of the third week of August.

How to congratulate Happy Air Force Day

Professions related to military aviation, complex and require excellent knowledge, high physical and moral fitness from applicants. Guys who are confident in their life goals or have an example of a father go into this area. Therefore, quite often in the families of aviators, children follow in the footsteps of their parents, and aviation holidays have become not just professional, but family ones. Here they know perfectly well how cool it is to congratulate relatives, and what gift for Air Force Day to give to a husband or dad. To please loved one and beautifully congratulate on an important day, we suggest using our selection of pictures and congratulations, SMS.

Larisa , August 7, 2018 .

Not so long ago, Russian civil aviation celebrated its anniversary - 90 years since the formation of this industry. And today we have a reason to once again remember what date Civil Aviation Day in 2019 will be celebrated, what exactly this date is connected with, and also once again talk about our glorious pilots, flight attendants and all the people who dedicated his life in the service of heaven.

What date is Civil Aviation Day in 2019 - August 21, 2019

On February 9, 1923, the Council of Labor and Defense of the CCC decided to create a structure that would provide for the needs ordinary people in passenger and cargo air transportation - "On the organization of the Council for Civil Aviation". Therefore, until recently, Civil Aviation Day was usually celebrated on the second Sunday of February. However, after 1992, in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation "On the establishment of the holiday Day Air Fleet Russia No. 3564-1 of September 28, it was decided to move this professional holiday to the third Sunday of August. By the way, the professional holiday of the Russian Air Force is also celebrated on this day. Therefore, Civil Aviation Day in 2019 will be celebrated on August 21.

A few words about Russian civil aviation

After the completion of the first World War, almost all countries that had aviation began to use it for peaceful purposes - to deliver people, mail and cargo to long distance. The same thing happened in Russia. Military planes were converted here and flew abroad on them.

In May 1922, the first line of international air transportation was opened along the route Moscow-Keningsberg. A little later, they started flying from Moscow to Berlin. A year later, the Dobrolet company, the progenitor of modern Aeroflot, was opened in the Soviet Union.

In 1923, the first domestic air transportation line was opened, through which passengers could get from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod. In December of the same year, the first domestic aircraft designed specifically for the transport of AK-1 passengers was produced and successfully tested.

Already in the early 30s of the last century, the Russian aircraft industry was put on wide leg. It included several design bureaus, enterprises producing aircraft, as well as research institutes that worked specifically in this area. Today, everyone knows the names of Andrei Tupolev, Oleg Antonov and Sergei Ilyushin, who designed the first Russian aircraft that met all the requirements of our time. At the same time, the first air terminal in our country was opened - from it was located in Moscow on the Khodynka field.

On February 25, 1932, the Main Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet was formed - the Main Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet and the first Air Code of the Soviet Union was published.

Air communication between our country and far abroad did not stop even during the years of the Great Patriotic War. Many civilian pilots were mobilized and made regular sorties, carrying passengers to the front line, and even further - to the enemy's rear.

But especially began to develop civil aviation in Russia in the postwar years. The Ilyushin Design Bureau produced more and more advanced aircraft. The Tupolevs did not lag behind either. In 1955, Aeroflot received one of the best planes of that time - the Tu-104, which worked both on domestic and international flights, and already at the end of the 50s, an even more advanced Tu-114 came on the line. At the same time in the capital of our country opens new airport- Sheremetyevo, serving only international lines.

In 1978, a new cargo aircraft, the Il-76, appeared on international airlines, and in 1980 Aeroflot became the main carrier of the Moscow Olympics-80.

After the collapse of the USSR, which occurred in the early 90s of the last century, Aeroflot remained a Russian airline, and the former Soviet republics had their own. Private airlines also appeared in Russia. To date, there are about 120 of them. The largest of them are Aeroflot, Transaero, UTair and the S7 group.

The main problem of civil aviation in 2019

Civil aviation pilot - without exaggeration, we can say that this is one of the few specialties, for the representatives of which future employers are a real hunt. And even at the stage of their training. The thing is that in Russia, unfortunately, there is a real shortage of pilots. The volume of civilian transportation is growing and growing, and modern flight schools simply do not physically have time to cover the needs of the market. No more than 400 cadets graduate annually, while the reduction in age is almost twice as much, up to 700 people a year. Alas, the ranks of our pilots are thinning. Of course, it would be possible to simply increase the enrollment - but in this case, the schools will experience a shortage of teachers. After all, future pilots of civil aviation are also trained by pilots, only older and more experienced. And they also retire with age. And despite the high wages- and civilian pilots today receive about 300,000 rubles, this problem has not yet been solved.

Meanwhile, the competition for flight schools is quite high - up to 4-5 people per place. First of all, you need to pass a captious medical examination. Up to a quarter of applicants are eliminated already at this stage. Next, you will need to professional tests, on which various parameters are checked, for example, reaction speed, ability to concentrate, and so on. Finally, the third qualifying round is an interview. It is important for teachers to find out and understand the motivation that led young man right here.

Those who managed to pass all the rounds and win according to the results of the Unified State Examination will face difficult training days. The flight school teaches a wide variety of disciplines, from flight operations and flight safety to history and foreign languages.

Flag of the Air Force of the USSR. The one in the heart.......

Yesterday, through Odnoklassniki, I received congratulations from my classmate at the military school. He congratulated me on the start of the festive week. At the same time, it was quite logical to note that if the vast majority of representatives of, so to speak, ordinary professions have only one holiday a year, then military aviators have two of them :-). This week begins with one holiday, with Sunday 12th oh, and another ends, in Sunday the 19th.

Somehow I didn't attach any importance to it before. Probably because he has never lived in Russia since it became a separate independent state. As they say, my homeland is the Soviet Union. And then we, the army, had only one aviation day. The one that Stalin installed in 1933. Then it was August 18th.

Since then USSR Air Fleet Day celebrated every third Sunday in August. Moreover, this holiday was more associated with the 18th. There was also the day of Aeroflot (more precisely, the civil air fleet) - the second Sunday of February, but then we did not consider it ours (in general, and correctly) and many did not even hear about it.

Then the day of Aeroflot in 1988 was canceled and combined with the August aviation day. And three years later the Soviet Union ceased to exist. Socialism, so plainly and unbuilt, sunk into oblivion ... Then everything around collapsed, starting with the economy and ending with many years of historical and spiritual traditions.

Soviet aviation, unfortunately, did not escape this fate (and not only military, but also civilian). The losses that she suffered probably cannot be compared even with the losses during the hostilities. Especially in the second half of the 90s and early 2000s.

It was painful and bitter to watch all this. Every even slightly positive action and any, even a small movement forward, was perceived with great hope. And now, it seems, these hopes are beginning to come true.

Our well-deserved, now, just as once in the first years of its existence, Russian aviation, which has always had many victories and outstanding achievements, begins to spread its wings again.

On August 12, exactly 100 years ago, the first military aviation unit was officially formed by royal decree. This is how the Russian Air Force was born. And since May 31, 2006, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, this day has become official holiday, Happy Air Force(has the status of a memorable day). Absolutely correct and logical decision :-).

As you can see, all good things come back :-). Russian aviation is beginning to restore its former power and perfection. I really want to believe that this process will only accelerate and go in the right direction, which means there is and will be something to celebrate. And we will definitely do it :-).

Now, after all, we have two festive dates: the 12th and the 19th following it (officially approved, by the way, in 1992 by the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation). Air Force Day and Russian Air Force Day. And I don't even know if I should share them. All this is easy for me Aviation Day.

And today, on the eve of these two big holidays I want to congratulate everyone on the 100th anniversary of our glorious Air Force and on the upcoming Day of the Russian Air Force.

I congratulate everyone who had and has great happiness (that's right!) to touch the mysteries of the fifth ocean, those for whom the sky has become a second home, and its gentle blueness and snow-white light clouds are their favorite colors in life.

I congratulate everyone who is "on you" with powerful, heavy and, sometimes, formidable machines. Thanks to your work on the ground, often very difficult and even thankless, planes take to the air and there they turn into light birds of the sky :-).

Happy holidays to all those who create the most complex modern aircraft, build them at giant factories, who in one way or another ensure the possibility of daily flight work of Russian aviation.

Happy holidays to all aviators, past, present and future. Although, of course, there are no former aviators, as well as former officers ....

Congratulations to everyone who understands, who remembers, who knows...

Work in the air is associated with daily risk, heavy workloads and stress for the whole organism. The profession of heroes, it is respected, admired, aspired to, it is worthy of awards and generous, high-profile holidays and congratulations on the dem aviation. Aviation holidays are those days on which you simply have to congratulate friends and relatives working in this field. About and congratulations on aviation day read below.

If the heavens parted for you

So you are winged wizards,

And marvelous expanses spread out,

And soar, from dawn to dusk you.

Daily life is trusted

Hundreds, thousands or more people

Hearts and souls entrust everything to you,

To carry them into the distance faster!

Take care of them, take care and keep them,

Side to avoid trouble

On your wings carry

We will always pray for you!

Of course, such a large-scale multifaceted profession associated with daily risk has more than one date to celebrate.

  • The success of aviation on an international scale could not go unnoticed. In 1992, the UN General Assembly established the holiday "International Civil Aviation Day", which has since been celebrated on December 7th.
  • February 9 - Civil Aviation Day in Russia
  • December 23 - Long-Range Aviation Day
  • June 1 - Day of Military Transport Aviation
  • July 17 - Naval Aviation Day
  • August 12 - Russian Air Force Day
  • 3rd Sunday of August - Air Fleet Day.
  • And of course, every 13th day of every month, as if contrary to fate, the heavenly warriors celebrate their safe, countless landings.

Air fleet great holiday

We single him out among many.

And it is collected in the hearts of the most diverse

Whose deeds we do not know.

Heroes, quickly soaring into the sky,

Risking my life daily for you

Whose infinitely continuous strip,

Both takeoff and own.

civil or military,

We honor you all and congratulate you,

Immortal, steel and permanent,

From the whole world we wish you:

Take off... fly... fly...

Always, at any time of the year,

So that an angel can give his protection,

Both on sunny days and in bad weather!

How to congratulate the pilot?

If a person close to you has connected his life with heaven and such a special profession as a pilot, then you should congratulate in a special way. Choose beautiful words that reflect the essence of the profession, create an unforgettable entourage and, of course, interesting gifts.

Why are wings given to man?

To soar into the sky endlessly

How small are the particles of the planet from above,

And the little men are not visible at all.

You fly up, you fly up

Every day, keeping a finger on the pulse

Responsible for life, responsible for everyone,

So, beautifully hovering above the ground, and circling!

We wish you health, strength and patience,

We wish good weather always

Let luck fly with you, luck,

And there will never be non-flying hours!

Probably the greatest holiday feeling for pilots is being at home with family, so don't suggest trips to restaurants or other establishments. The holiday should be family, unless, of course, it is no longer a corporate party.

Fly pilot, fly, soar

Be above everyone every day

And throw all your strength

On landing without interference!

And on the sides they fly with you

May your angels

And they're looking after you

Right down to the ground!

Holiday decoration at home.

Order a cake in the form of a steering wheel or a uniform cap, you can arrange lunch, like on an airplane, serve all the dishes on delivery and in disposable packages, but, of course, exclusively home cooking. Or prepare them in the form of an airplane, emblems and other flight paraphernalia, give interesting names associated with this profession. For example, come up with cocktails and call them in an original way, “Runway”, “Turbulence Zone” or “Seven Thousand Above Ground”. Decorate and also name the salads - “Chassis”, “Steering wheel”, “Trap” (for the color palette we use black olives, brown nuts, purple onions and cabbage). Spread hot on a dish in the form of an airplane or an airline emblem.

Hang small ones around the apartment paper airplanes, balls and other little things associated with air.

Corporate.

Banquet invitation in the form of tickets. The attendants of your banquet should change into the uniform of the company that is celebrating, handing out "take-off and landing" sweets at the entrance. Hall checkout balloons with airline emblems, choose the appropriate music, periodically diluting it with announcements that sound on airplanes and airports.

Chairs can imitate the semblance of aircraft seats, for example, equip with headrests or seat belts. Meals can be served in disposable containers, foil, or simply reflect a specialized theme.

Organize the event itself in the form of a flight, an exotic trip, an exam for employees of the air industry, an unplanned landing. In retro style, for example, "Flight of the 60s", or maybe, on the contrary, "Heaven, 3100" and so on.

Present

It is very difficult to surprise a person who has seen many times more than you, but you still need to try. One of the options is to approach the issue with humor and give him a ticket for a train, bus or ship for a tour of the cities, countries of Europe. Present a model of an aircraft, cufflinks or a cigarette case with symbols, a nominal watch, a comfortable leather chair, as in the cockpit.

Of course, these are exclusively themed gifts and nuances of the holiday, you can choose topics that are completely unrelated to flying.

Congratulation lines.

Pilots, flight attendants and flight attendants! Every third person in the world at least once trusted you with their lives and the lives of their loved ones. And you, on the highest level have accomplished this task millions of times. And all because you have neither professionalism, nor courage, nor courage, nor dedication. From the bottom of our hearts, on your holiday, we would like to wish, most importantly, health! After all, only it gives you the opportunity to soar into the skies, and we can be in good hands. Incredible luck, on which our fates also depend. A cloudless sky, endless expanses, the strongest guardian angels and thousands of flight hours ahead! Happy holiday to you heavenly employees of the flight industry!
