The training of the lagging behind, always falling asleep in the lessons of the second year of Disney ended at the age of 14. Nothing kept him at home, and he went to Europe, where the First World War. Disney dreamed of going to the front, but he was too young. He managed to get a job as a Red Cross driver. But the war ended, Disney returned to his native Kansas and began to earn what he really liked: drawing. He got a job as a cartoonist in an advertising agency, and contrary to his father's beliefs, this turned out to be a profitable occupation!

Inspired by success, Walt Disney opens his own animation studio, which, however, quickly went bankrupt. The failure only spurred Disney to move on, and more specifically, to the West, to Hollywood. In August 1923, 22-year-old Walt Disney bought a ticket to Los Angeles with his last money. Of course, in Hollywood, Disney could not help but try to become an actor, but his film career ended with a role in extras: there was no getting away from animation. Disney persuaded his uncle, with whom he settled, to give his garage for a new animation studio. Infected by Walt's enthusiasm, he not only provided the area, but also invested $ 200 in the start-up - all his savings. This is how The Walt Disney Company appeared, in which Walt's brother, Roy Disney, also started work.

To faithfully reproduce this luxury, the film crew animated 147 women with hair of different structures, from which the desired volume of strands was obtained. The work on Rapunzel's hair was so painstaking that one of the computer engineers, after the launch of the film, defended her thesis on hair animation.
