Techniques for weaving baubles. How to decorate a floss bracelet with rhinestones. Baubles - straight weaving video for beginners - how to make letters

Baubles made from floss are also called friendship bracelets; they are given to friends and girlfriends. After you give a few baubles to your girlfriends, those who want such a gift will line up.

In order to weave baubles from floss, you will need the floss threads themselves. different colors, scissors, ruler and duct tape, with its help threads are attached, for example, to a table. Since weaving a bauble is a long process, you should make yourself comfortable in a well-lit place.

Well, let's start analyzing the methods of weaving baubles. There will be a lot of them, and we will try to describe everything as detailed and illustrated as possible.

1. How to braid a braid

The simplest weaving used in baubles is a braid. Yes, the most ordinary braid. It is woven with three threads. Often the ends of baubles are braided with a pigtail. In this case, there are of course more than three threads, but then all the threads are simply divided into three groups and the braid is woven. And at the end of the braid, a regular knot is tied so that the braid does not unravel. But there are also more interesting and beautiful options how to braid threads, if there are more than three, into a pigtail. Let's look at them.

Pattern for braiding a four-strand braid. Using the same principle you can weave from any even number of threads(six, eight, ten, twelve, fourteen and so on). At each step, we take two central threads, move the left one to the right edge, and the right one to the left, and so we weave.

Scheme for weaving a braid of five threads (aiguillette cord). Again, using this weaving pattern you can weave from any odd number of threads(seven, nine, eleven, thirteen, fifteen, etc.). The essence of this pattern is that we take the left thread and move it to the center, then move the right one to the center and repeat required quantity once.

2. How to weave baubles with oblique weaving

This is a very popular weaving of baubles. There are a huge number of patterns for weaving baubles with oblique weaving. On our website there is an article on 50 patterns for weaving baubles and a separate category for baubles patterns, where patterns are added every day (usually two per day) and represent the pattern itself, as well as photographs of baubles woven according to this pattern. Usually the photos are different, that is, the scheme is the same, but the colors are different. Go to the Baubles Schemes page and choose what you like, and follow the updates. And now you can create a bias weaving pattern yourself using our new generator.

In oblique weaving of baubles, 4 are used different nodes, they are designated differently and woven differently. Such baubles should be woven in rows from left to right, or from right to left, and not in any other way, and not as the arrows show. In this case, the arrows only show which knot needs to be tied. You can learn how to weave baubles with oblique weaving using our master class: .

3. How to weave baubles with straight weave with two colors (including baubles with names)

There are already articles on this topic on our website that tell how baubles are woven using straight weaving. This is a master class on how to weave baubles with names and a Generator of patterns for baubles with names. On the generator page you can create your own individual bauble design with any name or text.

4. How to weave baubles with straight weave with a large number of colors

Straight weave baubles with two colors are woven differently than baubles with many colors. In this article we will not describe this technique; it deserves special attention. We analyzed this weaving in the master class. You can create your own bauble pattern thanks to our Straight Weave Bauble Pattern Generator.

5. How to weave baubles with sharp arrows (braid)

To weave this bauble, take floss threads a little long more than a meter. 6 colors, 2 pieces of each color. Lay out the threads symmetrically, connect them into a bundle and tie them in a knot at a distance of 7 centimeters from the edge. Thread a pin through the knot and attach it to a pillow, or glue the beginning of the bauble to the table with tape. Divide the threads in half.

Start on the left side with the outer color, ours is red. Using this thread, make a figure of four over the second thread, then pass the first thread under it and thread it through the hole as shown in the photo.

Tighten the knot by pulling the first thread upward to the right. Repeat this knot again, you will get a double knot, this is what the whole bauble will be woven with. Thus, our first thread moved from the left side one position to the right and became the second. Using exactly the same knot, we tie the second thread around the third and so on until the second thread reaches the center. This is one half of the bauble.

Now take the thread from the other side, ours is also red. We will make knots from right to left. To do this, we do everything symmetrically: we bend the red thread over the orange one in the form of a mirror four. Then we also thread it inside and tighten it to the left up. The main thing is not to forget that this knot must be made twice on each thread.

We continue to knit knots with this thread from left to right until it reaches the middle. Tie a knot with two middle threads of the same color in order to tie the halves together. So we have finished the first line of our bauble. The remaining rows are knitted in exactly the same way with two outer threads of the same color.

When you finish the bauble (you can tell by simply trying it on your hand, take into account only a little free space in order to tie the bauble), tie a regular knot using all the threads, and then braid it.

This bauble can also be made asymmetrical; to do this, first lay out the threads without symmetry. If you don't stop in the middle, you will end up with a classic oblique braided bauble. Don't forget that the knots need to be tied twice. And don't skip the middle when you knit.

6. How to make a bauble with rhinestones

There are many ways to weave baubles, and we will also look at how to make any bauble more unique and shiny.

We make a bauble with rhinestones. To do this, we will need a ready-made bauble (we will take a woven bauble with arrows), a chain with rhinestones, a floss thread, a needle and scissors.

Thread the needle and tie a knot at the end. Pass the needle through the bauble from the bottom up at the very beginning of the bauble. Or, to better hide the knot, you can thread the thread through the knot at the very beginning of the bauble. Place a chain with rhinestones in the center of the bauble.

Make a stitch between the first two rhinestones. Then pass the needle from bottom to top again, this time trying to get it in the middle between the second and third stone.

Continue this way until the end of the bauble. After the last stitch, tie a knot with reverse side. Or again, thread it through the knot at the end of the bauble. Then trim the edge of the thread.

Our bauble with rhinestones is ready.

7. How to make a bauble with thorns

To create a bauble with spikes we will need: any bauble, 5 chrome spikes with fasteners, a screwdriver and scissors.

Make marks with a marker to ensure even placement of the spikes. Use a ruler, or calculate by thread. Pierce in the marked places with scissors so that the screw can come through.

Place the screw through the hole and screw it into the tenon using a screwdriver.

Repeat with the remaining spikes in the same way. That's all! Our thorned bauble is ready.

8. How to make a bauble with a chain

In order to make a bauble with a chain, we will need: any ready-made bauble, a short chain with large links, a floss thread, a needle and scissors.

Thread the floss thread through the needle. Then untie one knot at the end of the bauble and tie it together with the end of our thread. On the reverse side, thread the needle first from the very edge of the bauble.

Place the chain near the bauble and thread the needle through the first link. Pass the needle through the back of the baubles again, so that the needle is near the second link of our chain.

Continue this way until the end of the bauble. The chain will need to be adjusted to the length of the bauble. To do this, straighten the link that extends beyond the length of the bauble and remove the rest of the chain. Make two stitches on the last link. After this, untie the bauble knot and tie it together with our thread.

Trim the remaining thread. Your updated shiny bauble is ready. Does she really look brighter now?

9. How to weave baubles with nuts

Using regular hex nuts you can weave very original bauble. It somewhat resembles a spine. This bauble will look great on a guy’s hand. You can buy nuts at any hardware store. different colors and sizes.

For this bauble we will need a spool of cotton rope, hex nuts (the quantity depends on you) and scissors.

Take three ropes, tie them into a knot, leaving ends 5-10 centimeters long free. After the knot, start braiding with a regular 3-5 centimeter braid.

Next, before making a strand with the left thread, put a nut on it, press the nut tightly to the pigtail and make a strand with the left thread. If your thread or rope is not very thick, then you can make a ring inside the nut (by wrapping the nut with thread), and then weave further. This way, the not very thick rope will not wear out very quickly.

Hold the left nut with your finger. Before making a strand now with the right thread, put a nut on it and make a strand. Hold the nut with your finger in the same way so that it is pressed tightly against the pigtail.

Then there will be a new thread on the left, thread the nut and knit the bauble in the same way. We try to knit tightly so that the nuts do not dangle or become loose after a couple of days of wear.

We repeat the steps and weave a bauble. We calculate the required length according to our wrist, taking into account the free space before and after the nuts.

After we have finished braiding the nuts, we again make 3-5 centimeters of a regular braid, tie a knot and leave another 5-10 centimeters of the free end of the ropes.

We wrap the bauble 2-3 times around the wrist and tie it. Our bauble with nuts is ready!

10. How to weave baubles and tied chains

Shiny chains tied with multi-colored floss threads look impressive, right? And they are made very simply. Let's learn how to weave them. We will need: a chain with large links, floss threads of different colors, two hair clips and scissors.

Let's cut 2 sets of 15 threads each. The length of one thread should be 4 times the length of our bracelet. Tie both sets of threads into one knot, leaving 5 centimeters free. Put a pin on each set of threads; they will help you easily thread the threads into the links of the chain and weave a bauble.

Place the threads to the left of the chain. Pull the first set of threads through the first link of the chain using a bobby pin, as shown in the photo.

Place the second set of threads on top of the first. Thread the second set of threads through the same chain link from the bottom up.

We move on to the second link, again put the first color on top of the second and thread it into the second link from the bottom up. We repeat in the same way with the second color. We have a chain with fairly large links, so in each link we make a braid with each set of threads. If you have a bracelet with smaller links, you can weave one pass into each link.

Repeat the steps until you reach the end of the chain, then tie a knot and trim the ends. So our bauble is ready. You can tie the chain on both sides, it will also turn out interesting. To do this, simply turn the chain over to the other side and weave according to the same instructions.

11. How to weave a friendship necklace

Let's learn how to weave a wonderful necklace. It looks interesting. It can also be given as a gift, just like a friendship bracelet. And they are quite easy to weave.

Well, we will need: cotton rope, floss threads, nuts and washers, spools of thread and scissors.

In order to make a necklace of two colors, we take two skeins of floss and wind them on spools to make it easy to weave. Then we take a rope of the required length and tie it together with the threads in one large knot. We fasten the end with tape to the table, or with a pin to the sofa. Let's start weaving in red, which means purple We hold it in our left hand so that it is taut along with the rope. We take the red color in our right hand, make a loop in the shape of a four with a thread over the rope, then thread the spool into the resulting loop from the bottom up (see photo) and tighten the knot by pulling the spool up to the right. We repeat this knot many times until you decide to change the color.

Changing the color is very easy. To do this, simply transfer the red coil to left hand and stretch it, and with a purple thread we begin to knit knots, as described above.

You can change the colors as you wish. You can add washers or nuts in the middle of the friendship necklace and then tie the knots again. When you are finished knitting, untie the first knot and tie both ends of the necklace into one knot. In addition, the necklace will look much more interesting if there are more colors. You can weave a large number of colors of thread in the same way, just hold all unused ones in your left hand. this moment spools of thread. It turns out such beauty!

12. How to weave a bauble wrapped chain with rhinestones

For this bauble we will need: 110-140 centimeters of leather cord one and a half millimeters thick, 30-40 centimeters of a chain of balls or crystals, 150-180 centimeters of thread, a brass nut and scissors. The length varies depending on your wrist size. It is designed to be wrapped twice around the wrist and tied.

Fold the leather cord in half to make a loop. The size of the loop must be selected in such a way that the nut, which will act as a fastener, fits tightly into it. Run the thread along a leather cord a couple of centimeters long. Then we begin to wrap the rest of the thread around the cord in the opposite direction from the loop. Pull the thread tightly so that the end does not jump out and unravel.

Place a chain with balls between the two halves of the leather cord. Wrap the thread tightly between each individual ball.

Continue wrapping the chain until the bauble reaches the required length.

When you reach the required length, tie a knot with three threads (thread and two halves of leather cord).

Then thread the nut and tie another knot. Trim off any excess ends.

The bauble with wrapped rhinestones is ready. Please note that the size is designed for two rings around the wrist. If you want to make one turn, or vice versa more, calculate in relation to these dimensions.

13. How to weave macrame baubles

Square knots, which are used in macrame, also look very impressive in baubles. Only we will take brighter materials. Instead of thread, we will use nylon cord of different colors. Add shiny metal and stones and get shiny macrame baubles.

a href=”http://3rebenka.ru/articles/544-kak-plesti-fenechk...ss-10-foto-1-video.html”
So, we will need: four meters of nylon cord half a millimeter thick, metal jewelry or stones, a needle and scissors.

Cut the nylon cord like this: 2 pieces of 75 centimeters, 2 pieces of 50 centimeters and 1 piece of 25 centimeters. Fold one half-meter piece of nylon cord in half, thread the resulting loop into the ring, and thread the end of the thread into this loop and tighten. Repeat with the second half-meter end on the other side. This way we will fix the ring. These threads will remain motionless for us.

Take one piece of nylon cord 75 centimeters long, bend it in half and place the center under the cord tied to the ring. Turn the right side of the cord to the left, left side Place the cord over the right one and thread it through the loop formed on the right from bottom to top as shown in the photo.

Pull the knot tightly and push it up until it stops.

Next, turn the left side of the cord to the right, right side lift it above it, and then thread it through the loop on the left, also from bottom to top, and tighten the knot. It turns out to be a mirror image of the previous node.

We repeat the knots left and right until the required length of the bauble is reached. Please note that the fastener will take up about one and a half centimeters.

When you're done, take the left side of the cord first and thread it along the center part 4-5 knots from the back of the bauble.

Repeat the same steps with the right half of the cord.

When you thread the cords, cut off the excess part, and the small pieces that remain sticking out can be additionally melted and sealed using a lighter for better fixation. We weave in the same way on the other side of the ring with a second piece of cord 75 centimeters long.

Next we will make it so that the bauble can be moved apart and tightened. It will turn out solid and without knots. Take the piece of cord that we cut off as extra and temporarily tie the cords of the ends of the bauble together.

Next, take the last piece of nylon cord 25 centimeters long, fold it in half, and start knitting the same left and right knots as we knitted earlier on the bracelet itself.

Make knots about one and a half centimeters long. Thread the ends of the cord with which we knitted back and solder with a lighter. Remove the temporary knots that tied the two ends of the baubles.

Thus, with the help of the central cords we can now adjust the size of the bauble. Choose the length you need and tie knots at the ends, and then cut off the excess.

All. Adjustable macrame bauble is ready! As a decoration in the center, you can take whatever your imagination comes up with.

14. How to weave beaded baubles

Let's make another unusual bauble - threads plus beads. For this baubles we need 1.2 meters of thread, beads, buttons, scissors.

Cut the thread into two pieces, one 70 cm, the other 50 cm. Fold the long thread in half. Then attach one end of the short thread to the ends of the long thread and make a bend at half of the long thread. Look at the photo how it looks. You get a loop and three ends of thread 35 centimeters long and one short end.

We tie a knot, leaving a loop of such a size that the selected button fits tightly. The fourth short tip is then cut off.

With three threads, we begin to weave an ordinary pigtail. After three centimeters of the pigtail, we thread the beads on the left thread.

Press the beads to the pigtail and cross the center thread with the left thread. Now put the beads on the right thread and cross the center thread with the right thread.

Hold the beads with your finger as you weave to make the bauble tight. Continue braiding the braid, alternately threading the beads from the left to the right.

When the size of the bauble is sufficient for your hand, we again braid a bead-free braid of the same length as at the beginning. Tie a knot at the end.

After the knot, put a button on the threads and tie a double knot.

Cut off the excess part. So our bauble with beads is ready.

You can take threads and beads of any colors, try, experiment, you will like it!

15. How to weave a bauble with hooks

Let's look at another option on how to weave baubles. This will be a bauble with hooks. It is not difficult to make, in addition, it has one interesting advantage, which I will talk about at the end of the master class.

Well, let's get started. For this bauble we will need:
- a cord 2 mm thick, about 60 cm long, instead you can use flexible wire, twine, or something similar;
- copper hook;
- ruler;
- pliers;
- lighter.

Before you begin, seal the ends of the cord with a lighter so that it does not unravel when worn. Take a pair of pliers and bend the hook on one side until it stops so that the cord cannot come out. Bend it on the other side too, but so that the cord can pass through.

Now we will make an adjustable knot. Thread one end of a 6-inch cord through the fully curled side of the hook. Bend 8 centimeters of the cord back towards the hook, 5 centimeters of which turn towards you. We will tie a knot with this end.

Wrap it around all the threads, making two circles towards the left loop. Thread the end through the left loop.

Hold it with your left hand and with your right press the skeins to the left until the knot is tied tightly. You can check that you have tied the knot correctly by holding the hook in your right hand and pulling the cord with your left. The knot should move close to the hook.

At the other end of the cord you need to make the same knot. There is no need to thread it through the hook. In this case, the turns of the end of the cord must be wound in the direction to the right.

Pass the end of the cord into the right loop and tighten the knot, moving the turns to the right as well.

Trim the ends of the cord and resolder them with a lighter if necessary. Now our bracelet is ready. It needs to be wrapped around your hand 2-3 times and adjusted with the second sliding knot.

Now here's an interesting point. Instead of a hook, you can use anything. You just need a hook on one side, and on the other you can drill a hole if necessary. This is how you can make this bauble for a guy. Especially if he is a fisherman, it will be very relevant. A designer version of a fish hook is used here.

If you show your imagination, you can use any item that can highlight and convey the owner’s hobbies. For musicians, for example, you can take a keychain in the form of a note, on one side you can fasten the cord to its tail, and on the other, drill a hole in its base. It will also look stylish and interesting. Show your imagination and surprise your friends!

Instructions

The simplest, but no less original bauble is made from eight colors (eight threads). Arrange all the threads in the order in which the colors of your bauble will be located. Tie a knot on one side, leaving a loop on that side. This is done so that in the future you can tie a little thing on a friend’s hand.

Having made a knot, it must be secured either on the sofa, or on your own trousers, or on any other suitable surface with a pin. Straighten all the threads and start weaving. Tie the rightmost thread with two knots on the leftmost thread. In the process of weaving, the threads change places. With the same thread, tie all the same two knots, but on the next thread. Continue tying knots all the way to the edge, resulting in the first diagonal row of knots of the same color. Take the newly formed rightmost thread and again knit the knots in the same sequence, performing all the same operations.

This option is the most common and simple, it is also called the classic. But there are more complex options for very patient lovers of knitting knots. One of these ways will allow you to weave a bauble with patterns in the form of arrows. To do this, also take eight threads a little over a meter long.
Take the thread on the far right and do the manipulations you are already familiar with, but only to the middle of the row. Then use the leftmost thread - tie it in the same way until the middle of the row, but now all the manipulations will seem to be reflected in a mirror, i.e. go in reverse order. Threads that meet in the middle must be tied together. Thus, you will get a pattern with arrows.

In addition, you can weave baubles, just twist the threads into in a certain order. For one of these patterns, take, as usual, eight threads a little over a meter long, tie a knot, and secure it to the work surface. Move the leftmost thread to the middle, i.e. place it between the fourth and fifth threads. Then take the rightmost thread and also place it in the middle, with the outermost right thread be above the leftmost thread. Next, take the "new" extreme threads and repeat all the steps until the end of the baubles. If you take threads of four colors and simply repeat them in a mirror direction again (for example, red, blue, yellow, green and green, yellow, blue and red again), you will end up with a pattern of intertwining diamonds.

note

The length of the threads should be four times longer than the desired length of the bracelet.

Helpful advice

Weaving baubles will not only allow you to provide unforgettable gifts for almost any occasion for your friends, but also perfectly calm the nerves.

  • Memory knot. How to weave baubles from threads in 2019

People learned to weave hand jewelry from ribbons, threads or thin leather straps many thousands of years ago. However, baubles became popular precisely because of the hippies. Adherents of this subculture were on the side of sincerity and naturalness, rejecting all material values of society. And feni, woven from ordinary colored threads with their own hands, were considered the most the best gift, a symbol of friendship and boundless trust in each other.

You will need

  • - threads;
  • - scissors;
  • - scotch;
  • - safety pins.

Instructions

In order to weave a “bracelet”, prepare the threads of your beloved color range, safety pins and scissors. You can weave from cotton threads such as "Iris", "Snowflake" or "Muline".

Select threads. Their number must be even. To prevent the bracelet from being too thin, take at least six or eight strands different shades. The length of the thread should be four times larger size finished baubles.

Secure the threads with one of suitable ways. If you want to have strings at the ends of your hair dryer, then leave a small "tail" about ten centimeters long, fasten the threads with tape, braid them into a pigtail and attach them to a flat surface, for example, to a table. Straighten the threads in the form of rays.

It is not difficult to learn how to weave baubles, it is enough to understand the principle of weaving the main knots, and then be able to read special patterns for baubles. In the master class presented here, we offer a course showing for beginners. It is worth noting that with a little effort, you can look stylish and fashionable by tying a bauble tied on your wrist. with my own hands. In order to understand how to knit baubles, you need to be patient in order to master the lesson from the very beginning.

So, first of all, you should prepare threads, ropes or ribbons for weaving; it’s good if there are many different colors. You will also need scissors, tape and a ruler with divisions.

Since baubles for beginners are quite a long and painstaking task, you should immediately choose a place and position that is more comfortable and get down to business. To secure your work, you can use tape to glue the tip of the product to a small pillow. For these purposes, you can use a regular sewing pin.

The most simple baubles for beginners, they are woven in the form of a regular three-strand braid. This bauble can be used for different purposes, it can be a decoration for a lock, a tie for a pigtail, or a bracelet on the wrist. In each case, it is necessary to determine only the final length of the product.

So, here is the first tip on how to weave a bauble. Take a bunch of threads and connect them into one knot. Then we divide all the threads into three parts and begin to weave a standard braid. Use the drawing to understand the principle of weaving.

In order to know how to weave baubles, you should learn how to tie a securing knot, which we all know. For those who don’t remember how to do it, we’ll show you in more detail in the figure. You will need a thread, which should be held between two fingers of both hands.

Next, we should make a full turn with our right hand around the index and middle fingers of the second hand, while simultaneously threading the thread under the thread that we are holding thumb. All that remains is to tighten the knot.

The next step in how to learn how to weave a bauble is to master simple node, which is often used in weaving various patterns for baubles. It’s not difficult to learn how to weave it; the most important thing at this stage is to understand the principle of weaving it. So, to weave a simple knot, you need to take two threads, preferably different color. In this case, the knot being woven will be more clearly visible. In our case, we chose yellow and red thread. Attach both threads to the workplace using tape so that the yellow thread is on the far left.

Now it’s time to tie the knot itself; to do this, we twist the yellow thread around the red one so that we get a kind of loop. We thread the tip of the yellow thread into the resulting loop and...the knot is ready. All that remains is to tighten it. Look carefully again as shown in the picture. The straight knot itself consists of two similar knots, so you should then tie another such knot, after which you can say that the straight knot is ready.

Of course, the methods of weaving baubles do not end with this knot, and for more elegant and interesting options other nodes are used. Quite interesting knots include a half knot, thanks to which the bauble will have the appearance of a spiral.

Let's try to tie a knot like this. To do this you will need four threads, two pieces of each color. IN in this case we will have red and blue colors. We also connect all the working threads into a single knot and attach the workpiece to the workplace. Pay attention to how the threads should be divided by color: red in the center, blue at the edges. Now you can start weaving a half knot. The first working thread will be the left blue thread, with which we form a loop so that it passes over the red ones, but under the other blue thread.

The knot is ready, all that remains is to tighten it. If you perform a half knot constantly, after a while you will get a spiral.

Next, another knot used is a flat one. This knot is woven almost the same way as a half knot, only it needs to be completed with additional steps. In more detail and clearly how to do this, see the figure below.

Please note that the threads are painted in different colors, although this is not necessary when knitting a bauble.
The skill of weaving baubles involves the use of the constant imagination of the craftswoman, who can decorate the resulting bracelet with the most interesting elements. These can be beads, buttons, sequins, seed beads and much more that your imagination can only tell you.
You should take into account the nuance that when weaving fairly wide baubles, first a regular braid is woven, and then the weaving of the main pattern of the baubles begins.

There is another option for making a bauble. You will need five threads of different colors, at least sixty centimeters long. We tie all the threads into one knot and fasten it traditionally with tape or a pin. Now we just start twisting the threads in one direction until we get a tight turn.

Such a bauble will look quite stylish if you also decorate its ends with some decor.
After this master class, you already know how to make simple baubles and can safely experiment with knots you’ve already learned.

In this article we want to tell you, how to weave baubles from threads with your own hands using the example of detailed master classes with photos and diagrams. They love to do this kind of creativity; all kinds of wicker baubles are very popular among them and are the main accessory that complements different outfits. Therefore, learn this type of needlework yourself, and then show how it is done to your children - they will be very grateful to you for it.

So, weaving baubles from threads- detailed master classes

Bauble made of twelve threads of floss

The first master class will tell you how to weave baubles made from floss threads, using different colors. At first it may seem that doing this is quite difficult, but if you carefully study the entire process and try to reproduce it in practice, everything will turn out to be simple and easy.

To weave this bauble we will need:

Floss threads in six different colors;

Scissors;

Measuring tape or ruler;

Safety pin or tape.

How to make a bauble from threads - step-by-step instruction

First step. Let's start by preparing the necessary threads for work. To do this, we measure two pieces of floss, one meter long each, from each color of floss thread, the kind that is usually used in.

Second step. Next, we will connect all the pieces of thread together into one bundle, so that their ends coincide and, stepping back from the edge of the bundle approximately seven centimeters, we will tie a tight knot, from which we will begin to weave our bauble in a downward direction.

Third step. To make it convenient for us to weave, we need to secure the thread blank in some way. We offer you the two most common methods. The first is to thread a regular safety pin into a knot formed from threads, and then pin it on a sofa cushion or any other convenient one for you. soft surface, similar to her. The second method: take a small piece of wide tape and glue the threads to a flat table surface.

Fourth step. After this, we will divide the fixed bundle of threads into two equal parts, and it is important for us that each bundle contains one piece of thread of each color and that they are located in the same sequence from the edge to the center.

Fifth step. Everything is prepared, you can start working. Let's start from the left side, take the first outer thread, in our case it is red, and cross it over the next thread, in our case it is orange.

Seventh step. Then we will tighten the formed knot tightly, pulling the red thread upward to the right and we will get the first knot of our bauble.

Eighth step. Following the first, we will make exactly the same second knot; this technique in weaving baubles is called a double knot; it is with double knots that we will weave our decoration.

Ninth step. Please note that as a result of the first double knot, our outer red thread has moved from the first position to the second and is now followed by the third piece of thread pale Pink colour. We also tie it with a double knot with red thread and move further to the segment next color. We continue to form double knots on the first six threads, as a result of which we will reach the center of our work and get half of the woven first row of our bauble.

Tenth step. Left side Let's leave the work for now and move on to weaving right side, here we do everything the same as with the opposite one, we start with the outer red thread, form a double knot from it on the second thread orange color, then we move to a pale pink thread and form a double knot on it. We continue to weave the bauble, alternately on the remaining sections of threads, without disturbing the sequence of colors to the very center of the work.

Eleventh step. To connect both halves of the woven first row of the baubles, we tie the pieces of red thread together into one regular tight knot.

Twelfth step. Next, we move on to weaving the second row of the baubles, and, according to tradition, we begin to do this on the left side. Now we will form double knots on each segment from the next outermost thread - orange, until it reaches the center of the work.

Thirteenth step. We will weave the second half of the second row of baubles, starting from the right edge, also reaching the middle and also tying two orange threads together into a regular knot, as we did in the previous row with red threads.

Fourteenth step. We will knit all subsequent rows similarly to the two described above, all the time taking into work a piece of thread of a new color. Thus, we weave a bauble of the length we need in accordance with the size of the wrist of the hand on which it will be worn.

Fifteenth step. After the woven part of the bauble is ready, in order to fix all the threads, we will connect them together and tie them in a tight knot.

Sixteenth step. To decorate the ties of the baubles, divide the remaining threads into three equal parts and braid them into a classic tight braid, the kind that is often used in creating. Secure the edge of the braid with another knot.

Seventeenth step. We will braid exactly the same braid from threads on the opposite side and also secure it with a knot.

A bauble braided from twelve threads is ready! Weaving baubles from floss threads Very exciting activity, thanks to which you can have new stylish jewelry.

Master class No. 2. Thin bauble satin ribbons points.

How to weave a bauble from threads you already know, so in next master class we will tell you how to weave a beautiful bauble from thin satin ribbons, the kind that are often used in the technique. For this we need:

Thin tape white, approximately five to six millimeters wide and one and a half meters long;

Thin tape blue color, approximately five to six millimeters wide and one and a half meters long;

Scissors;

Lighter or candle.

How to weave a bauble from satin ribbons.

First step. Take both ribbons and, stepping back from the edge of each ten centimeters, bend them downwards.

Second step. Then put the white ribbon on the blue one crosswise, just as shown in the photo.

Third step. After this, use the top white ribbon to tie the blue one in a circle, so that it is on top again.

Fourth step. As a result of the manipulations of the previous step, we have formed a loop of white ribbon on top; we thread a loop of blue ribbon into it.

Sixth step. Now we bend the white ribbon again, as we did at the beginning of the work, and thread it in this form through the loop of the blue ribbon.

Seventh step. We carefully tighten the resulting knot again and straighten it.

Eighth step. Using the same principle, we weave a bauble from satin ribbons of the length we need.

Ninth step. To finish and secure the weaving, last time we pass one ribbon without folding it through the loop of the second, tighten and straighten the resulting knot well.

Tenth step. We tie both ends of the ribbon together into two ordinary knots and thereby finally fix our weaving.

Eleventh step. We leave approximately ten to twelve centimeters of ribbon of each color for the ties for our bauble, and cut off all excess.

Twelfth step. To prevent the ribbon from tearing into threads, melt its edges using a lighter or candle. To do this, simply bring the edge of the ribbon to the corner of the flame for a second.

A beautiful voluminous bauble made of thin satin ribbons is ready! It can be woven using the same principle bauble of 2 threads, only for this it is better to take threads not from floss, but from wool, the kind that is usually used to knit warm ones for adults.

Rainbow bauble made from floss threads

Another option for weaving a bauble using a double knot, unlike the first one, in this master class we will weave a bauble in straight and reverse rows, changing the colors of the threads. Thanks to this technique, you can weave not only plain jewelry, but also baubles with a pattern, ornament, or even an inscription, but more on that a little later, first, let’s learn how to weave such a bauble, and this master class will help us with this.

For work we will need:

Mouline threads of six colors;

Scissors;

Wide tape.

How to make baubles from threads: step by step description

First step. We measure and cut two pieces of each color of thread, each one meter long.

Second step. We collect all the threads together and lay them out in a row on a flat, hard surface, for example, on a table, two pieces of each color, in our version there are first two white threads, then two pink, then two orange, two light green and two blue.

Third step. Having stepped back approximately eight to ten centimeters from the edge of the threads, we attach them to the table using a piece of tape so that it is convenient for us to weave.

Fourth step. Let's start weaving, we will do it from left to right, for this we take the leftmost thread, in our case it is white and form a double knot from it on the next white thread, tighten it.

Sixth step. Using this principle, we wrap double knots around each thread to the very right edge. Now the first white thread turned out to be the last.

Seventh step. Then we take the second one white thread and we also fly it around all the threads, forming the next row, consisting of double knots.

Eighth step. After both first white threads are at the end of the work, carefully peel off the tape from the table and turn our bauble to back side, so that the two white threads are again at the beginning of the row on the left side and fix it again with tape on the table.

Ninth step. According to the pattern already familiar to us, we weave two more rows with white threads and again turn the work to front side to weave two more rows.

Tenth step. We will not weave any more rows of baubles with white threads for now, therefore, without turning the work to the other side, we take the next two outer threads, this time pink, and weave them in turn around each thread with double knots towards the opposite edge.

Eleventh step. Just as in the case of white threads, we weave six rows with pink threads, periodically turning the work to the back side.

Twelfth step. Following a similar technique, we weave a bauble in rows of each color of thread, alternating them at a certain interval, until the decoration reaches the length we need.

Thirteenth step. We make ties along the edges of the woven bauble; to do this, we take all the ends of the threads, divide them into three equal parts and braid them into a tight braid of the classic type.

Fourteenth step. To prevent the braid from unraveling, we fix it at the ends with small knots and finish the job.

If you want to weave a thin bracelet, but don’t know how to do it, don’t worry, it’s actually very simple, 4-strand bauble it is woven the same way as this one, using simple double knots.

As we noted above, you can weave bracelets in a similar way with a pattern, ornament or inscription, and help create similar baubles made from floss threads - diagrams, which allow you to clearly understand double knots and what color needs to be formed on a particular section of the weave.

Below we would like to offer you several types of patterns for weaving baubles so that you can try to weave the decoration you like.

Material from Summer Camp

Let's start with the knots

The first knot, which is called the “knot through the hand,” is needed in those cases to tie all the threads at the beginning and end of the weaving. Place all the threads together and squeeze between the large and index fingers both hands.

Right hand wrap the threads around the index and middle fingers of your left hand, pass the ends that are held in your right hand through the resulting loop and tighten the knot tightly.

The main knot. This very simple knot is the basis of the weave. Leave the red thread hanging freely, wrap the yellow thread around the red one first down, then up, thread it into the resulting loop and tighten tightly. Repeat everything from the beginning and the main knot is ready.

If you tie knots on several threads, the goal will be a series of knots, which make up many patterns.

Simple baubles

Have you ever tried to weave baubles? Do you find it very difficult and tedious? But no! Try it at least once, you will really like it. Plus it's very simple! The craft has big success at handicraft lessons in camps.

Materials and Tools: We used floss for this bracelet and bookmark. For a blue and white bauble bracelet you will need 4 white threads and 4 threads of blue color approximately 90 cm each. For the bookmark, take 7 threads of rainbow colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. The length of these threads is slightly larger - 100 cm (depending on the desired length of the bookmark). One thread in our description is a weave of 8 threads of floss (they are collected like this in a skein of floss). You will also need a safety pin, scissors and a small pillow to which you will pin your project while working.

Progress:

1. Tie the threads in a knot, leaving approximately 10-12 cm of free ends. Thread a pin through the knot and pin it to the pillow. Place the pillow comfortably between your knees.

2. Arrange the threads in the following order. For a blue-blue bracelet: blue thread, blue thread, blue thread, blue thread, etc. (see photo below). That is, the colors should alternate. For the bookmark: red thread, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet (that is, in the order of the colors of the rainbow).

3. To weave this bracelet you need to know only one knot - the right loop knot. Its description is below.

Of the arbitrary number of threads, some are working, others are knotted. Using a working thread, an even number of knots are tied on the knotted threads, while the knotted thread is pulled tight. During work, the knotted and working threads constantly change places and working functions: the working thread becomes knotted and vice versa. F1 - working thread, F2 - knot thread. Pull knotted thread F2 with your left hand. With your right hand, place working thread F1 from left to right around thread F2, pull the end through the resulting loop and move the knot up. Make the second knot in the same way and move it tightly to the first. Double knot ready. Now the threads have changed their working functions.

4. Using thread 1 (far left), tie two right knots on threads 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. That is, first you tie two knots on thread 2 with thread 1 (blue in the photo), then the same With thread 1, tie two knots on thread 3 and so on until the 8th. Thus, thread 1 moved to the right and became the far right.

5. Again, take the leftmost thread (in the photo it is blue), the one that was number 2, and tie it in the same order all the threads in turn until it is in the extreme right position.

6. The entire bracelet is woven in this way.

7. When the bracelet will be required length, stop. Braid the loose ends and tie a knot at the very end. If necessary, trim the threads with scissors. Take out the pin and braid the same braid at the other end of the bracelet and make a knot.

8. The bookmark for the book is woven in the same way, only we made one of the braids shorter (the one that is sewn into the cover).

How to weave baubles from threads

Baubles have long ceased to be a distinctive sign of the “informal” and have become original and stylish decoration, which can be worn by everyone, regardless of gender, age and social status.

In addition, the thread bracelet, having ceased to be only an attribute of hippies and Rastafarians, has not lost its original function - to be a memorable gift. In the West, they are still called "Friendship Bracelets" - friendship bracelets. Baubles are given to loved ones as a sign of affection, gratitude and love. According to tradition, you should definitely tie a bauble on your friend’s wrist yourself, then it will definitely bring happiness and will always remind him of you.

You can make such a bright and memorable gift yourself. It is not difficult at all and will not require you to spend a lot of money. You only need scissors and multi-colored threads. You can use floss or not too thick knitting threads. You can choose the color at your discretion, because the best symbolism is the one that is clear to you and your friend.

Most a simple bauble can be woven from eight threads. Their length should be four times longer than the length of the finished bracelet, plus a little more so that the ends can be tied. That is, for our first bauble you will need threads a little over a meter long, unless, of course, your friend has extremely wide wrists.

The threads must be secured, otherwise the bracelet may become twisted during the weaving process. To do this, we tie a loose knot at some distance from the ends to leave a tail for the ties. This knot can be attached safety pin to a trouser leg or sofa. Then you need to arrange the threads in the order in which the colors should be located. Finally, you can turn on pleasant music for inspiration and get to work.

An example of weaving knots from right to left

With the rightmost thread we tie two knots on the nearest adjacent thread on the left. Thus, the threads are interchanged. Then with the same thread we knit a knot on the next one. And so on until the end. So we get the first row - a diagonal strip of knots of the same color. Then with new thread, which is now on the far right, we follow the same procedure. And so on until we get the bracelet of the desired length. Now you can remove the bauble from the pin, untie the knot and braid the ends to make them look neat.

This is what the first row should look like

This option can be called classic - the simplest and most common. But if you like the painstaking and meditative tying of knots, you can experiment. After all, you can weave not only from right to left, but also from left to right! To do this, you need to perform all the same actions, but as if they were reflected in a mirror. This task may seem difficult, but once you get used to it, you will be able to weave knots without thinking.

Arrow

So, we weave to the middle of the row in the usual way, and then we start from the other side and weave in the same way to the middle of the row, but from left to right. We tie the threads that meet in the middle together. This way we will get arrows.

Simple techniques for weaving beaded baubles

Dense single-row chain.

Beginning of work. To make the first weaving element, three beads are strung on a thread so that the end of the thread remains (used for sealing or fastening a lock). To secure the set, the thread is passed through the first, fixing bead of the set towards the remaining end of the thread (Fig. a). The result is a weaving element of three beads.

Then one bead is collected, and the end of the thread is passed into the last bead of the previous set, which is also the fixing bead of the second set (Fig. b).

Further work continues in next sequence: Beads are strung and the thread is passed into the beads strung in the previous set. Each subsequent weaving element includes two beads from the previous weaving set (Fig. c).

The result is a single-row chain consisting of two parallel rows of beads tightly adjacent to each other.

Dense multi-row chain.

A dense multi-row chain is obtained by weaving rows of beads onto a single-row chain.

To weave the second and subsequent rows of a multi-row chain, the thread is passed through the first outer bead of a simple chain (do not forget to leave the end of the thread!).

Two beads are strung on the working thread. The end of the thread is again passed towards the first outer bead. Then it is passed through the second outermost bead and fixed by passing through the last bead collected (Fig. a). In this way, a weaving element is obtained, consisting of the two outer beads of the first row and two collected beads.

Next, one bead is strung and the end of the thread is successively passed into the second and third outer beads of the first row and fixed in the collected bead (Fig. b). Subsequent weaving elements are lowered in the same way, so that in each weaving element of four beads there will be two outer beads of the first row, one bead collected earlier from the weaving element of the second row, and one strung bead.

Beading

Bauble "Thorn"

The "PIRB" bauble must be woven on a nylon thread. At the end of the work, place a lock on the ends of the baubles. You can weave such a bauble with a thin elastic band. Then you won't need a lock. * Connect the ends as you weave and, moving away from the junction, tie at least 3 double knots.

  • Before starting weaving, take Blank sheet squared paper and draw a drawing of the future bauble. Next, get to work selecting beads desired color according to the drawn diagram.
  • Place 6 beads on the thread, pass it through the 5th of them (Fig. 1)
  • Pick up three beads and thread the thread through the very first one. Tighten the braid. The first clove turned out. (see Fig. 2)
  • Collect three beads and pull the thread through the second of them (Fig. 3)
  • Cast on three more beads and pass the thread, as shown in Fig. 4.

Bauble with name

To make a bracelet bauble with a design, inscription or name, take some multi-colored beads, a beading needle, nylon threads and a sheet of paper.

Below we have given a drawing of the location of the beads in the future bauble. If you have a printer, then you can print this picture and put a drawing of the future bauble on it. If not, then make a similar grid on a piece of paper and color it as you wish.

Place an odd number of beads on a thread with one needle. The number of beads collected determines the width of the future bracelet. In our example, there are 7 of them.

From No. 7, enter from the bottom up into No. 5 and dial No. 8, from No. 8, enter from the bottom up into No. 3 and dial No. 9, from bead No. 9, enter from the bottom up into No. 1 and dial No. 10. Now we also go down - from No. 10, enter from top to bottom into No. 9, etc.

Follow the pattern as the weave reaches the right size Place a lock on the edges of the bracelet, sew on ribbons or draw threads about 20 cm long from the outer beads and weave them into braids.

For a more professional production of bracelet baubles, use a beading machine.

Weaving baubles for beginners

People say that...

The exchange of baubles has always been considered a special ritual; it symbolized the fact that people entered into trust friendly relations or were accepted into a specific fraternity. Friendship bracelets, that’s what baubles are still called today. They are also given as a sign of friendship to each other.

There is also a magical explanation for the importance of weaving baubles. Allegedly, the bracelet, knitted from three knots, is made at will. During the process of weaving, a wish was made on the third knot of the bracelet to the person for whom it was intended.

As before, the bauble is a memorable gift; it is presented as a sign of friendship, devotion, affection or love. It is worth remembering that the bracelet must be made independently, especially since this is done quite simply.

There are several beliefs...

When they tie a bauble on you, be sure to make a wish and try not to forget it... if a guy and a girl exchange the same baubles, it means that they confessed their love to each other. ... if a person has a white bauble, he loves freedom and independence. ... and if the decoration is red and white, its owner (owner) is looking for love. ... if the bauble is torn or lost, your friendship with the one who gave it will soon end.
