The size of the playground in the country. What can residents do if they need to install playgrounds. Playground using ready-made kits

Dacha is one of the most popular places family vacation V warm time of the year. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can breathe fresh air, admire nature, gather with friends and family for a picnic, or grow fruits and vegetables on your own - as you like. If there are kids or teenagers in the family, then it is necessary to provide them with interesting leisure activities in nature, and the best option would be a playground for children in the country. It can vary greatly in equipment and size, depending on numerous factors, but, most importantly, it must be safe and in the best interests of the child.

No. 1. The age of the child and the equipment of the playground

The first thing to focus on when organizing a summer cottage for children is child's age and needs:

If in a family several children of different ages, That ideal solution will become modern modular play complexes that can be arranged in different ways, rebuilt, supplemented with new elements and, thus, make the playground interesting for kids of all ages. Complexes equipped with facilities for young children and adolescents will allow you to forget about the constant problem of modernizing the playground and will meet all the needs of children for a long time.

No. 2. Choosing a place for a playground in the country

The safety of the child and his comfort depend on how correctly the place for the playground is chosen. It is advisable to find such a plot in the country so that it met the following requirements:

  • the playground should be at the maximum possible distance from commercial buildings, thorny shrubs and various;
  • if there is a reservoir on the site, then it is better that it be separated from the children's area or by a hedge;
  • the site should be good viewed from windows country house and from any place where adults spend most of their time (beds, recreation area, etc.);
  • children's area should be well lit, its location in dense shade is not allowed, on the north side of the house, in the lowlands, in the area of \u200b\u200bhigh groundwater occurrence - it will always be damp here, and after rain everything will dry out for a long time. On the other hand, there should not be an excess of ultraviolet radiation. Ideally, you need to place a playground for children near fruit trees that give a diffused shadow, and preferably only a third of the children's area. If there are no trees, then you can equip a small shed or build a small house - such a solution will allow children to play on the playground even in light rain;
  • should also take into account the priority wind direction in the region and protect the site from drafts with a hedge or a small fence;
  • it is better to place the site on flat surface, but if this is problematic, then the area for the children's area will have to be terraced. Even a seemingly slight slope can cause the toys to roll and the water to be distributed unevenly;
  • under the inflatable pool, if provided, it is better to lay a special dense base or even paving. It is allowed to install the pool on the ground, but there were cases when the grass sprouted and pierced the bottom of the pool: at first, of course, the water will not flow out, but the structure will end up with a sieve;
  • it is allowed to organize a site in the immediate vicinity of the main fence of the site, and the fence can be used for mounting a board for drawing with crayons.

No. 3. The size of the children's playground in the country

In order for the playground to turn out to be functional and not traumatic, it is important in advance create a project, where to mark all structures on a scale, taking into account the free space around them. Depending on the size of the space allocated for the playground and the age of the child, the dimensions of the equipment and its quantity will be different.

In order to organize everything correctly, you first need to decide how much area is allocated for the children's area, then decide which gaming equipment is a priority, what sizes it has, and draw up a plan on paper, taking into account the following safety regulations:

It turns out that if you put a separate slide, you will need at least 15 square meters. m of space, for the carousel - about 20 sq. m, swing - 15 sq. m, spring rocking chairs - up to 10 sq. m. If there is free space on suburban area not so much, it makes sense to buy ready children's play complex. Its equipment can be completely different, and such a design occupies an area of 15 square meters. m.

In addition, to ensure maximum safety, you should get rid of sharp metal corners, carefully sand and varnish or paint all wooden parts. Swings and some other carousels are buried in the ground to guarantee and.

No. 4. Playground covering material

The flooring of the play area for children should not be too hard so as not to injure the child in the event of a fall. It should also be non-slip and environmentally friendly. Best suited for summer cottages:

  • - the most natural option, besides, it is pleasant to walk on the grass even barefoot. It is necessary to choose a grass mixture for sowing that is resistant to trampling and with an increased density of shoots. This is usually used in stadiums, but even in some places it will be trampled down over time, so the lawn will have to be seeded, and it also needs to be cut and watered regularly. After rain, the playground will be unsuitable for play;
  • sand large fractions, in which the foot will not sink, is a natural material that softens falls. It is often used to organize sports grounds. The advantages include accessibility, and you don’t have to think about a special sandbox. Among the minuses is the difficulty of cleaning, the ability to spread over the site and the need to wait for the sand to dry after rain. The basis for the sand cover is a layer of granite screenings of 5-7 cm, covered with a geogrid. The layer is from 2 to 10 cm;
  • bark- not a very common material for covering playgrounds, but still found. Bark is a natural material that does not stick to clothes and shoes, softens falls well, but cleaning the site will be difficult. The durability of the coating is limited to 2-3 years, but the bark is inexpensive. To equip such a site, it is necessary to dig a hole about 20 cm deep, cover it with geotextiles, fill it with sand for 15 cm, lay geotextiles again, and then pour a 5 cm layer of bark;
  • artificial turf devoid of many of the shortcomings characteristic of previous materials. This is a rolled material on an elastic basis, the coating of which quite accurately imitates natural grass stems. It is easy to lay it with your own hands, its care is minimal, it does not get trampled down, it has soft surface, passes water, is durable, all-weather, wear-resistant, does not stain clothes, but is expensive and not as good as grass or sand, softens blows. An artificial turf is laid on a concrete base, and when choosing a coating, consider the height and thickness of the blades of grass, as well as the density of the coating, because artificial stems should not impede the movement of the child;
  • - one of the most modern options. The material is absolutely safe for the child, springy, softens falls, does not stain, easy to clean, passes water and dries quickly. Tiles are produced different colors and even with funny drawings - a great solution for a playground. Maintenance of the coating will be minimal, because it is durable, does not wear out, and it can be laid on almost any flat surface and even soil;
  • pourable rubber coating, like tiles, consists of crumb rubber and polyurethane binder. It has all the same advantages, but it does not have seams, and its organization requires the use of special equipment, so it is rarely used in summer cottages;
  • modular plastic cover comprises individual elements, which simply and quickly fit on any base and are connected using a special lock. It can even be disassembled and moved to another place. The modules are made of high-quality safe plastic, which is not afraid of sun rays, moisture, withstands serious loads, and due to the holes, rainwater is drained.

No. 5. What should be in the playground?

Equipment playground for children in the country depends on the area of \u200b\u200bthe zone allocated for it, the interests and age of the child. Most often, a playground is equipped with such elements:

  • sandbox - required attribute playgrounds for the little ones;
  • swings, carousels, bungees, rocking chairs different sizes and level of difficulty
  • slides;
  • houses;
  • ladders, rings, bars and other sports equipment;
  • swimming pool and trampoline.

Some elements for the playground can be purchased separately. If you have the skills, then you can build a swing, a sandbox and even slides with houses on your own, and the easiest option is to buy a ready-made gaming complex.

No. 6. Children's play complex for giving

Domestic and foreign manufacturers offer modern parents a huge selection of ready-made children's complexes for summer cottages. Usually, they consist of several modules and are easily assembled, turning into a real designer. If necessary, an additional module can be purchased and the existing site can be modified. Some companies offer the manufacture of such sites to order, taking into account all the requirements and wishes.

The equipment can vary greatly, and the choice depends on the age of the child and the free space. Standard set Includes bench, sandpit, slide and swing. More complex complexes can be equipped with houses, fortresses, bridges, cobwebs, nets, tunnels, labyrinths and ropes. For older children there are sports and gaming complexes, which include swedish wall, horizontal bars, rings, simple simulators.

as material can be used:

Modern game complexes improve the physical form of the child and develop imagination, but the main thing is that the design is safe:

As for manufacturers, then it is better to pay attention to the products of such companies: and compact a layer of stones - this is drainage. A box of sanded boards is laid along the edges of the pit, and everything is covered with clean sifted sand. It is possible to lay geotextile between drainage and sand. It remains only to put an umbrella nearby, and the sandbox is ready. Instead of a frame, sometimes used

  • playhouse harder to build, but doable. To build the frame, you will need a wooden beam, and the walls and roof can be made from a picket fence. The interior of the house and the exterior decor depends on the imagination;
  • the simplest swing can be built from a strong peeled board or tire, which are attached with chains or ropes to a thick tree branch, wooden or metal frame. Metal crossbars will have to be welded, and the base concreted. The rope or chain is attached to the swing seat using special fasteners - repair bolts with hooks;
  • if you attach a rope or two rings to a metal crossbar or branch, you get a sports equipment;
  • if space allows, you can put a gate or basketball hoops for outdoor games. With limited space, you can equip the platform ping pong table, which is easy to build from a sheet of plywood;
  • slide it is difficult to build with your own hands, but if you buy a ready-made plastic slope, and make a support for it and a ladder with your own hands, then the task will be greatly simplified;
  • small water for games and launching boats, you can make it from an ordinary basin if you dig it into the ground and ennoble the coast a little;
  • final touch - site fencing, which can be made from cut more or less thick and even branches. If they are shaped like a pencil and painted in bright colors, will be very interesting.
  • You can organize a functional playground for children in the country with any budget - the main thing is to follow the safety rules and find appropriate place.

    Why children need a playground, perhaps, it is worth explaining only to someone who was born six feet tall, in a business threesome with a tie, crocodile shoes and a cigar in his mouth. The cigar is, of course, electronic. Even the smoke from it is not chemical, but depicted by holography and is clearly visible without anamorphic glasses harmful to the eyes.

    There are plenty of guides for building a game for posterity. And in these - really valuable and necessary instructions on safety, reliability of fasteners, quality of materials, etc. However, having reviewed many of them, something like that in fig. below. Paradise, no doubt. Okay, palm trees, a hefty stump (it looks like at least 100-year-old eucalyptus). Maybe they have palm trees there, that we have swans, and highly valuable industrial wood is distributed to everyone for nothing, if only they were taken out of sight.

    However, here and there, a middle-income householder who decides to please the kids by making a playground for them with his own hands immediately raises the question: where to get the space? Land for such a monumental structure took no less than 2 acres, and if there are only 6 of them in the country? Or even less on a personal adjoining territory? A playground for children is being built when the economy is already established. Therefore, further we will consider, first of all, how to properly arrange everything that children need for joy, trying to keep within 1 hundred square meters or less. But, of course, the very components of the playground for children's games will not be ignored.

    The most difficult case

    The most difficult thing is to arrange a playground in the country. In addition to the acute lack of space, she remains unattended and unguarded throughout the cold season. That is, in addition to resistance to external conditions and environmental friendliness, the material of the structure should not give much temptation to possible robbers. At least the temptation worth the trouble of disassembly. Hence, the entire summer cottage complex should be compact, strong and at the end is inconvenient to approach with the tool. And what if they still drag it away or succumb to bad weather, this should not bring big losses.

    Good choice for children play corner in the country from improvised materials is shown in the photo:

    The main material in this case is quite reliable, high-quality and affordable - construction pallets (pallets). Occupied area - only approx. 5 sq. m. Behind the climbing frame - 2-storey secret shelter. If one of the younger members of the family is a woman, then the car is unceremoniously driven out to the green parking lot, and the garage is transformed into a boudoir, a kiosk, a doctor's office, etc. If there is sufficient space in front of the building, a ladder or slide can be attached to the captain's bridge.

    About materials

    The case above is not trivial. Improvised materials go mainly to the design of the site; we will return to this issue later. But for its key structures (see below), high-quality structural materials are needed, because we are talking about the safety of the child.

    Tree- coniferous without signs of rot, mold, cracks, falling knots. Bearing elements - a bar from 130x130 mm or a log from 120 mm. Boards - edged or tongue-and-groove from 20 mm. Before assembly, the parts are treated with an oil water repellent (water repellent) or impregnated twice with a water-polymer emulsion. The best finish - acrylic lacquer on water based on a well-sanded surface.

    The second most important material metal. In addition to fasteners, heavily loaded elements are made of steel, for example. in sports facilities. In this case, it is preferable to connect the parts by welding: any protrusion is traumatic. For a completely, it would seem, smooth head of the bolt, the tomboys manage to catch on clothes that seem to be completely unsuitable for this. Metal parts are necessarily painted over a primer and twice. The best paint finishes are acrylics.

    Plastics they are easily electrified, in the open air microcracks appear in them within 1-2 seasons and hygiene disappears. And since at home plastics are also non-technological, it is better to refuse them altogether in a home-made playground. Perhaps the only place where plastic is appropriate on the playground is a manhole. A plastic barrel works well for him. It’s better to take a white, translucent one so that they don’t get scared, don’t start to fight there in a panic and don’t get stuck. Glass and other breakable or brittle/separable materials (composites, for example) are absolutely unacceptable.

    Stone material is also unsuitable for a playground: having crashed on a grand scale, you can hit it great. If curbs are required on the site, then they need to be laid either soft or home-made wooden, or plant phyto-curbs from soft hardy plants, for example. sedum (sedum).

    Separately, it should be said about ropes. In terms of children's injuries on playgrounds, the top three are steadily occupied by rope railings / fences, labyrinths, tangles and climbing nets. Through the first they are outweighed, not yet able to correctly assess the stability of the support by eye, fall somersault and are seriously injured, up to a neck fracture. Nets do not leave parents inconsolable, but there are a lot of fractures and dislocations behind them. Muddles are not physically hard to injure, but due to fright with hysteria, they can leave an indelible mark on the psyche. Therefore, the ropes on the playground are applicable only as suspensions for swings, stretching awnings and creepers - a gymnastic rope with knots.

    Note: fabric and non-woven textile products in playgrounds are used for awnings and soft fences. In any case, the fabric should be stretched so that there are no rinse sides.

    Basic and extended equipment

    A traditional typical playground minimally consists of a slide and a fungus. The latter are now most often combined in the form of a 2-storey playhouse with a balcony, an air passage, an observation platform, a climbing frame and a ladder. This allows you to create a greater variety of entertainment in the same area, see fig. However, it is impossible to make a sandbox on the first floor of the house: trampling over their heads will in no way benefit the development of very small, “sandy” children. The sandbox must be separate.

    So, we get a basic set of a sandbox, a combi house and a swing. He is able to serve from the first top-top until the time when it turns out that the girls, in general, are not to pull their braids. If possible, add to the mini-set:

    • A free place for quiet games, children's picnics, in winter - for making a snowman, etc.
    • Decorative elements to develop an aesthetic sense.
    • Boom, i.e. jogger-pusher.
    • Inflatable pool, tub, trough or basin for bathing.
    • Hidden hideout.
    • Sports complex.
    • Playground for sports games.
    • Mini flower bed or mini flower garden.
    • Hut or tent.
    • Labyrinth.
    • Children's carousel.

    Many other additions are possible, there would be a free area and the imagination of the parents. But the determining factor for comprehensive development they no longer have a child, so we confine ourselves to the observation that most of them and some of the above can be placed in the gaps between the security zones of the main structures, see below.

    Location selection

    Ideas for the artistic and decorative design of the playground can be anything; some of those combining business with pleasure will be discussed below. No regulations/prescriptions about appearance there are no facilities on the playground for children's games. However, when choosing a place for it, certain safety and comfort rules that contribute to the proper development of children:

    1. The site should be within sight of the most habitable premises. In private households, this is usually the kitchen;
    2. All facilities on the site, including their safety zones, must be within a 45 degree viewing angle. This approximately corresponds to the possibility of viewing the hostess, occupied at the stove located according to the rules of fire safety;
    3. If the site borders on the passage, incl. internal (one's own, courtyard), between him and her there must be a capital fence that is insurmountable for children, regardless of the presence of a fence of a different type;
    4. Reservoirs, wells, utility yards, etc. should also be delimited. sources of possible danger. In such a case, the fence may be easy, but necessarily impenetrable for children;
    5. The site should be located in sectors from north to southeast. Otherwise, the smallest in the sandbox and children engaged in active play should be protected from harsh afternoon light;
    6. At any location of the site, the sun should not blind the eyes of children engaged in active games or sports exercises;
    7. The sandbox is located first in order of distance from the exit to the site. If it is not there - the first from home;
    8. The sandbox must not be under a tree(s);
    9. The directions of swinging of the suspended swing and rolling out from the hill should not cross the sandbox. Otherwise, the distance between them must be at least 3 m for the swing and not less than the height of the slide;
    10. The same directions should not go to the carriageway;
    11. Between the sports complex and the sandbox there must be a playhouse or a swing, or another permanent (immovable) structure, or there must be at least 3 m distance;
    12. The safety zones of capital structures should not intersect.

    Note: the safety zone of the children's play facility is assumed to be 1 m by default. The roll-out zone from the hill is 1.5x1.5 m. The swing safety zone is equal in length to 1.5 of the height of their suspension, and not less than 1.5 m in width; carousel - its diameter. The security zones of sports complexes are indicated in their projects.

    Layout examples basic modules the playground with its various orientations according to the cardinal points are shown in fig. The house is conditionally marked with a gray circle with a star of rhombuses with half-rhombuses. The swing safety zone is shown as a rectangle mustard color; house with a slide - thick green. What is a sandbox with an awning, see below.

    About sports complexes

    On fig. below are the projects of children's sports complexes with a house and a slide (left) and only the most compact gymnastic T-shaped scheme. From there it can be seen that less than 30 sq. area with a typical solution is indispensable, and the full complex leaves no room for a sandbox. It would seem that home sports do not shine in a small area.

    Nevertheless, it was Russian specialists who developed projects for children's sports complexes open air based on the conditions of the Russian Federation, namely, the high endowment of the population strata that remained from the USSR, provided with medium and lower land plots. In the West, only a very rich person can afford to have 6 acres outside the city for recreation.

    Drawings of one of these children's sports complexes are shown in fig. below. Material - steel pipe (27-30)x2. Its features are an extremely narrow, but well-founded security zone, only 0.5 m along the contour. No matter how you look at this design, its ergonomics are perfectly thought out: if you hurt yourself, it’s not much, and you won’t hurt the little ones nearby. The second is the correct configuration. This facilitates the placement of the complex on the site, which is clearly seen in Fig. with layout schemes: a playground with opportunities for sports does not “climb out” anywhere for 1 hundred square meters.

    About fences and dividers

    In addition to the protective fence, it is highly desirable to delimit zones on the playground for 2 or more children. If the place allows, a labyrinth will give a lot of fun and useful skills, see below about it. The traditional solution to the issue of zone separation is a fence, and inside the site there are tires or logs, also see below. But the fence, albeit very cheerful, as in fig. a little lower is a clear ban, which is generally not useful for children. The strongest and most reliable discipline is conscious, understood by one's own mind. And from an explicit ban during the "holiday of disobedience" you can tear off the board. And to climb, where it should not have been at all, without even realizing what it is fraught with.

    When you need to isolate yourself from the roadway, there is no choice, because. The safety of children in this case depends not only on them. But, for example, a pond or a utility yard will not come to the site on its own. In this case, if the platform is made of wood, perfect lung protective fence - wattle. Firstly, it is not difficult to weave it, and free material is almost everywhere in nature. Secondly, a sufficiently high wattle fence is very difficult to overcome even for an adult well-trained person. Don't believe? Try to jump over. It was not for nothing that wattle was once used to make temporary fortifications - fascines. In the same way, a bull is not capable of breaking a properly made wattle fence, not like a person. Thirdly, the wattle fence itself is an excellent decoration for a suburban area.

    But most importantly, children do not perceive the wattle fence as a prohibitive sign. Why? And you can see through it. Just look at the pond - well, the water lilies are beautiful there, well, the frog climbed onto the leaf and croaks. And in a crack, furtively - appears fairy world, inhabited in the imagination by amazing creatures. Okay, we don't have it yet. But then, if a gloomy pig or an angry gander turns to the wattle fence from the other side, you can be scared to your heart’s content, without really risking anything. Rest assured, children perfectly distinguish the toy fear, on the basis of which reasonable caution is developed, from the real one.

    About the ground

    An almost ideal ground base for a playground is seeded or rolled: after rain it dries quickly enough, slows down the rolling well and dampens the flopped one, does not overheat in the heat. One “but”: clothes can turn green, which is washed poorly. Therefore, often the soil on the playground is covered with fine gravel. It drains and brakes even better, but under the sun it heats up more and can be scratched. The ideal backfill would be fine, up to 1.5-2 cm in diameter, well-rounded pebbles. But, alas, this is a very expensive material, and its predatory self-harvesting is punishable by law.

    Modules and elements

    Sandboxes

    First, what is a sandbox with an awning, which is necessary when the site is located in sectors from south to northwest? See fig. It is not necessary to make the panel very large and lower its edges too low: it is enough for the awning to shade the sandbox from the high midday sun. Closer to sunset, if the children are still playing at this time, about half of the box should be shaded so that the little ones themselves are located where it is more convenient for them.

    The second thing that will be very useful if there are two or more children with a sufficient age difference is a sandbox-truck, or depending on the inclinations of the older (older) sandbox-boat. In the latter case, the cabin with a navigation bridge is located, as on any decent "transport", in the stern. Then the younger ones will take care of their own sandy affairs, without feeling intrusive guardianship, and the older "parent" will be able to perform their duties literally effortlessly, without being bored. And if one day he will take the wheel or stand at the helm professionally, he has already deposited at the level of reflexes: the main thing in a flight is passengers and cargo.

    House with a slide

    Let's fill in something missing here. The first is the slopes of the hills. They are most often bought ready-made, made of plastic. There are basically 3 designs to choose from: straight, spiral, see fig., and pipes.

    It is better to ignore the latter: the children's slide is not a water park, water lubricant does not flow through the pipe. Children in the ramps-pipes often get stuck with everything that follows. In terms of the degree of psychological traumatism, the slopes-pipes are almost on a par with the tangles.

    Of the others, if there is very little space for the platform, it is better to take more expensive spiral ones. Their use allows in a typical design (see above) to abandon the roll-out zone, because it will be sideways, within the general security zone. And rolling with a propeller is more fun and “cooler” than just like that.

    However, as mentioned above, plastic in the playground is best avoided. Therefore, for sufficiently skilled home craftsmen, we give in fig. on the left, a profile of a sheet metal slide for a children's slide. The sliding line is highlighted in red, the sides of the trough-shaped chute are marked in brown, and the straight protective edge with an outward bend is marked in blue; green - an elastic pad on it made of smooth rubber. The latter is necessary to slow down with your hands. The width of the slope gutter is 600-700 mm.

    Note: it is superfluous to remind, but for the sake of the seriousness of the moment, we recall that the overlaps of the sheets that make up the gutter and the sides should be directed down the slope. Otherwise, the overlaps will turn into knives.

    Swing

    The cradle (seat) of a hanging swing is often made from tires. Then, if the children are boys, it is better to hang the tire vertically, on the left in the figure, it will be possible to “tarzan” from the heart. Girls better fit a swing cradle made of a tire, suspended flat: here it is already convenient to sit in a circle and gossip like a woman.

    The cradles of the sports swing, on the right in the figure, are made rigid, in the form of a flying trapezoid with rings, and soft. It is recommended to make rings separately only for children already involved in athletics and having some success in this: many beginner gymnasts were seriously injured trying to make a cross on the rings without sufficient physical preparation.

    With enough space, the little ones will really like and use the swing-balancer, inset in fig. below. If there is not enough space, and the child shows the makings of a dexterous and strong fellow, they can be replaced with a spring swing. A diagram of their device is shown in the same fig. Spring - from a small shock absorber passenger car or a motorcycle, depending on the age and weight of the rider.

    About labyrinths

    The labyrinth for children's games must meet the following conditions:

    1. Be one-dimensional, i.e. from the partitions standing on the ground.
    2. Partitions should not be deaf and high: the elders should see over them and be able to climb over, and the younger ones should see below and crawl.
    3. Plant labyrinths for children's games are unacceptable, they can, having lost their way, get confused and injured in the bushes with a fright.

    funny beauty

    Tires

    Functional, i.e. suitable for games, decorative elements of playgrounds are most of all made from truck tires. Let's leave aesthetics to adults. Children of pragmatism, it is important for them that it is elastic, coolly springy, and does not beat if you slam on it. Try to only use solid tires: over time, traumatic ends of the cord often protrude from the cut ones. Or check the tire structure regularly and walk along the protruding wires with a grinder with a grinding wheel.

    A classic product of this kind is a boom runner. It can also be a zone delimiter or a barrier between a sports complex and a sandbox if there is not enough space. So, in all respects, it is better to dig tires for him not along, as is customary, but across, as in pos. 1 fig. at intervals of approx. 30 cm:

    • We clearly see the gap where it is not necessary to step.
    • If the foot slips, then to the side. Whoever knows about sports physics knows that then the first to come into contact with the underlying surface without any grouping skills will be not the physiognomy, but the fifth point.
    • It is convenient and safe to push: the legs themselves rise to the position of the strongest support, and if the leg slips, then everything is as in the previous one. case.
    • Whoever is pushed does not fall back, risking injuring his back or hitting his head, but sideways, which is safe for children.

    Small, if the tires are somewhat different, you can simply fold them up, pos. 2. For those who are older and smarter - an “advanced” climbing frame in addition to the usual one, pos. 3. Pos. 4 in general a godsend: an old, but real steering wheel, and if you swing, then generally like a tractor over potholes.

    Pos. 5 - the well-known sun from a tire and bottles - in fact, not only a decoration. PET bottles are an excellent, durable target for darts, arrows, and anything thrown. And do not be afraid that children will grow up aggressive. On the contrary, just those who in childhood did not have the opportunity to express the natural masculine, conditioned by epochs of biological evolution, inclinations in a harmless way, when they grow up, are much more likely to break into their manifestation in an adult way, up to the highest measure of responsibility under the legislation of the place where the act was committed.

    For girls, yes, perhaps, and not only them, a mini-flower bed made of a tire, on the left to the track, will suit and decorate the entire area. fig., or a flowerpot from a worthless wheel. In the latter case, in view of the injury risk from the cord indicated above, it is better to turn the flowerpot with festoons down, as on the right in the same place. What it lacks in aesthetics here and there it makes up for in coloring.

    They make a lot of other things out of old tires. For children, already without obvious functionality - different figures. For example, what are the crafts for the playground from tires in the form of different animals, see.

    Video: tire crafts for playground decoration

    pieces of wood

    We will not dwell on snags or roots painted like animals: everything depends on the source material, the type of which is impossible to predict, and already known creations cannot be repeated either - there are no two identical snags. Let's deal with what is more or less stable in its original form: logs. Not necessarily business measured, any deadwood or waste from pruning trees will fit into crafts for children from logs. Just by sawing churaks out of them, and not very carefully, you can already build a good zone delimiter, on the left in the figure, a sandbox, in the center, or a furniture set for a puppet picnic, on the right.

    And with a little more effort and skill, make figures for a composition that has independent meaning or, say, for a children's carousel. Drawings of some of these are shown as an example in Fig. below.

    One more idea

    The arrangement of the playground is still the same, without going beyond 100 sq. m and without interfering with anything else there, one more thing can complete. Let's say you still have a baby bath, and you are not going to have more offspring. The old adult bath is too deep, it is better to put it on. Or a leaky trough was lying around in the barn. Or, say, you stumbled upon an ad: "Used culinary equipment for sale", and in it - "Donut tray 1100x650x100". In general, you need any tub with a length of 80-90 cm, about half as wide and up to 15 cm deep.

    Why is it for children? Launch ships. Adults apply patches on construction or aquarium silicone, paint if rusty - it's a simple matter. It will take a little water, so you can just change it more often, without using excessively not always safe disinfectants. If you keep the children's mini-sea in the sun, and throw a couple of grains of potassium permanganate or methylene blue (pharmacy blue) into the water, until it is barely pink or blue, and cover the pond with a film at night, week-long continuous navigation is ensured in it. Children from her - a lot of delight and fun. There will also be a lot of splashes and wet clothes, but there’s no need to be angry here, or weren’t you yourself?

    D For the normal development of children, they need to actively spend their free time - run, play, have fun. When creating playgrounds, the main attention is paid to their safety and functionality. To build do-it-yourself playgrounds on a suburban area or cottage, the photos of which you will find in this article, you will need some tools, carpentry, construction and locksmith skills.

    Homemade playground

    The design of playgrounds with their own hands, the photos of which are posted on the Internet, implies the presence of certain equipment. If you do not have something, do not be discouraged, here are a few ideas that will help you equip a playground.

    If you donate (at least temporarily) the extreme entrance to the hill house, then in its place you can hang a basketball backboard with a ring. If you have several truck tires, then you can make an obstacle course out of them.

    A sandbox can be made not only from boards, but also from wooden stumps or tires from a car. If you decide to make it from tires, then you will need at least 5 pieces. Enclose the space of the sandbox with tires, putting them in two pieces (one on top of the other). The main thing is to attach the tires to the ground. This can be done with metal pins (3 per tire) and then filled with sand. After that, tires can be painted in any color.

    In addition to the slide-house on the playground, you can build an ordinary house, only small in size. If you're good at woodworking, make models of airplanes or ships for kids to climb on. It is not necessary to make them perfectly similar, because the children's imagination can turn any clumsy craft into a masterpiece.

    Playground using ready-made kits

    A do-it-yourself playground, the photo and ideas of which are found on the Internet, can also be made from purchased simulators. In stores you will find all kinds of plastic and metal slides, wooden houses and other essential attributes of a playground. To install them on the playground, you need to prepare the base for each simulator. Since the base requirements for different devices are different, please carefully read the manual that comes with the equipment. In most cases, such equipment looks more beautiful than homemade, but lacks the charm that is inherent in everything that a child helped build.

    Self-made playground

    All do-it-yourself playgrounds whose photos are posted on the Internet always include a slide. Such a simulator is the basis of any playground. It can be made from various materials such as:

    Making a slide-house

    A do-it-yourself playground in the country, a photo of which you can find on the Internet, always includes a slide or a slide-house. The base of the slide is a frame of 4 vertical posts. You can use only 2 racks, but then the possibility of creativity is reduced and the slide will be limited to one slope and one lift. On a frame of 4 racks, you can make a slide with one slope and several lifts. Make one lift in the form of a ladder, the other with normal steps, and the third with a rope.

    This design seriously diversifies children's leisure. For a slide with a straight slope, it is undesirable to make the angle of the slope more than 30 degrees relative to the ground in order to avoid excessive acceleration and injuries.

    Helpful advice! If possible, use a plastic ramp sold in stores. With it, children will have more fun than with a straight wooden ramp.

    What to make a slide-house

    For this you will need:

    Foundation preparation

    Find a place for the slide and prepare a hole for the frame foundation. We recommend making a square frame with a distance of 1 meter between the posts. The size of the side of the pit should be 1.5 meters, the depth should not be less than 20 cm. Seal the bottom of the pit and pour a layer of crushed stone (fraction 15–25 mm) 10 cm thick there. compact it. You can also get by with small holes for each bar. In this case, the depth of the pit should be at least 50 cm. Saturate the lower edge of the beam with diesel fuel and molten bitumen, the treated part should rise 1.5–2 cm above the ground. Pour a crushed stone pillow on the bottom of the pit - a fraction of 15–25 mm, a thickness of 5 -10 mm. Insert the posts into the pit, level and ensure they are properly oriented - their edges should be parallel to each other (this is not required with logs or round bars). Then pour concrete.

    Helpful advice! The less water in the concrete, the stronger it will be. To make thick concrete more mobile, add plasticizers to it, which can be bought at a hardware store.

    Bottom harness and slope

    Tie the bars with a 50 mm thick board at the floor level of the house, and also install one longitudinal jumper. Fasten the boards to the bars with self-tapping screws at least 100 mm long. From a board with a thickness of 25 mm, make a tray for a ramp. To do this, cut 2 boards, the length of which is slightly greater than the length of the slope. Mark the angles of contact with the frame strapping and the ground, then cut the board with a circular saw or jigsaw. Attach the boards to the harness to make sure you did everything right. Then cut jumpers from the same board. The length of the jumpers is equal to the width of the slope. Lay the long boards on the ground and, using self-tapping screws, attach jumpers to them from the bottom side.

    The distance between the jumpers is not more than 30 cm, and install the first and last jumpers 5 cm from the edge. Make such a cutout in the upper edge of the board so that the slope rests on the harness as if on a shelf, and the jumpers are flush with the harness. Attach the ramp to the harness using the corners of the bolts with nuts and self-tapping screws. Set the corners so that children do not get scratched. Fasten the corners to the slope with bolts and nuts so that there is nothing protruding or sharp from the side of the slope. Sew up the slope with plywood using self-tapping screws. They must be recessed by 0.5–1 mm, then puttied and sanded. Fasten bottom edge slope using pins hammered into the ground or anchor bolts.

    Ladder

    Cut two pieces of board 50 mm thick, the length of which will be slightly greater than the length. Mark and cut the corners of contact with the strapping and the ground. Cut 24.5 mm wide grooves in these boards for the installation of steps, then cut the steps to the required width and assemble the ladder. Fasten the steps to the side boards with self-tapping screws. Attach the ladder to the harness and the ground on the side opposite the ramp. Attach supports and railings to both sides of the stairs. They can be made from a board with a thickness of 25 mm. Supports and railings must be processed using a manual or electric planer to eliminate sharp edges, and then carefully sanded. The upper edge of the railing must be attached to the uprights.

    Additional entrances, top trim and roof

    On one of the sides, make a ladder from the same bar that went to the racks. Process the cut bars with an electric planer to slightly round the edges. Attach these bars to the posts at a distance of 20-30 cm from each other. Screw the first bar at a distance of 20-30 cm from the ground. Prepare an extreme ascent to the house. To do this, make the same tray as for the ramp, but set at an angle of no more than 20 degrees with respect to the uprights. Tie the posts at the level of the ceiling of the house with a board 50 mm thick. From the side of the extreme entrance, reinforce the strapping with steel corners. Cut and lay the plywood on the floor, then hem the plywood on the ceiling. Sheathe the house with plywood on the outside, making round or oval entrances. Determine the size of the entrances / exits yourself so that the child is comfortable. To make the roof, cut 4 rafters from a 25mm board. The angles of the rafters are determined based on the height of the roof. Attach the rafters to the corners of the frame and connect them together from above using metal corners. Cut the plywood into pieces of the required size and sew up the roof.

    Cutting plywood with a jigsaw

    Final works

    When finished, be sure to sand all the places where the child can drive a splinter. Then treat the slope, steps and extreme rise with parquet varnish. Attach a rope 10-15 mm thick to the top harness on the extreme side and tie knots on it every 20 cm. Paint the house so that it looks beautiful.

    Any adult knows how restless children are. Sometimes you wonder how they manage to jump, run, somersault all day long and not get tired at all. It is almost impossible to force a child to sit quietly and peacefully, and it is not necessary - a disadvantage motor activity may result in developmental delay. But what is really needed is to direct the fountaining energy in the right direction. A playground or even a whole town will help in this. It is here that a child can play with peers, swing on a swing, slide down a hill, hang on a horizontal bar. The problem is that not always playgrounds and playgrounds can be found close to home.

    If you have a little space in your garden or cottage and want to give your child the opportunity to spend their leisure time with interest and benefit, it's time to think about building a nursery. sports ground. Ready-made children's towns can be found in the store, their choice is quite wide. But it is better to equip the children's town with your own hands. So you will take into account all the wishes of your child and save family budget. Using improvised materials and showing imagination, you can create a unique corner in which the child will spend time with pleasure and benefit. Yes, and imagine the joy of children inventing and equipping their future place for games together with adults - a small children's town.

    As in any construction, before you start work, you need to create a project. Draw first full plan dachas or personal plot, then we mark on it the place allocated for the playground. Now it is important to decide what elements need to be included in our project.

    Site selection

    The choice of elements will depend on the age of the child.

    • Children's towns for kids must necessarily consist of a sandbox, various swings, a house, a slide;
    • For older children and teenagers, a playground or a town with sports equipment, a horizontal bar, and a basketball hoop will be of interest.

    When creating a project, it should be remembered that children grow up quickly, and their interests also change quickly. Therefore, it is necessary to plan a children's town for a summer residence for the future. For example, today it will be a swing for a baby, and tomorrow it will be possible to remove the seat, and there will be a horizontal bar, on which it will still be possible to hang a rope or rings.

    Material selection

    The most suitable material from which we will implement our project is wood. It is easy to handle and harmless. In addition, a playground or a playground made of wood looks great, as in the photo. You can supplement the tree with metal (crossbar for the horizontal bar) and car tires (maze, swing).

    Site preparation

    The last preliminary stage of construction will be the preparation of the site. The place where the nursery will be located play town must be carefully harvested and cleared of plants. The soil must be leveled, holes and mounds removed. Grass is the best surface for the site.

    Safety first

    In order for the children's town you built to become a place for safe games and entertainment, special attention should be paid to safety. When designing and performing work, think through every detail from this point of view.

    • First of all, playing children must be protected from the wind and the scorching sun. A decorative fence or a shrub planted on the leeward side will help protect a heated child from gusts of wind. If the playground or town is not shaded by trees, you should think about the fungus over the sandbox and the canopy over the swings;

    • As already mentioned, the best surface for the site is grass: the possibility of injury by falling on the lawn is much less than when falling on a hard surface;
    • A playground (town) should not be located near outbuildings, otherwise during active games someone might get hurt. When placing elements, it should be remembered that there should be a free zone of at least 2 meters near the swings and slides;
    • All welds and joints should be carefully checked. Bearing structures and moving parts must be made of high quality materials and securely fastened. The swing supports must be dug into the ground no less than half a meter.
    • When designing a children's town for a summer residence, it should be remembered that the size of various structures directly depends on the age of the child. So, for a baby under 5 years old, the height of the slide should not exceed 1.2 meters (as in the photo), for older children, you can build a slide up to 3.5 high, and a swing up to 2.5 meters.

    Before you start building, re-evaluate your design and make sure that your playground or town is truly child-safe.

    Elements of the children's town

    Sandbox

    The most common game element, without which it is difficult to imagine children's towns, is a sandbox. Playing with sand is one of the most interesting activities for a child. You can sculpt Easter cakes, build castles, roads and entire cities. The sandbox is not only an entertaining element, sand games contribute to the development fine motor skills and fantasies in young children.

    The simplest sandbox can be made from an unnecessary large car tire. It is enough to cut off the top, paint the outside and fill in clean sand. If there is an opportunity to do something more solid, it is worth building a sandbox out of wood. This can be an ordinary square side of four boards with benches, or stumps set in a circle. A playground or a playground with such an unusual sandbox will please your child.

    It would be nice to provide drainage before laying the sandbox, then the sand will dry out much faster after rain. To do this, you need to remove the top layer of soil by 25-30 centimeters, cover it with a 10-cm layer of fine gravel or pebbles on top and pour sand on top.

    The second no less popular element of a playground for a summer residence is a swing. There are quite a few of them, consider the easiest options to manufacture.

    If we are building a children's playground for a child under 5 years old, the rocking chair will be the most suitable swing. The installation instructions are very simple. We insert a large spring into the dug hole and fill it with concrete mortar. Install the seat on the second end of the spring. It can be done in the form fairy tale hero or some animal. The main condition is that the seat must be well fixed on the spring. For convenience, on the decorative figurine, you need to provide handles that you can hold on to. The next photo shows another simple version of the swing, which is equipped with almost all children's towns (pictured).

    To make such a swing, you will need two strong wooden beams with a section of at least 100x100 mm, a softwood board with a section of at least 25 mm, a steel rod with a diameter of 20-25 mm and a small bar (80x25 mm) for additional fixing boards. We dig the pillars into the ground by 0.5 m, the width between them should be slightly more than the width of the board. There should be another 40-50 cm of timber above the ground. On each of them, on top, we make a cutout for a metal rod, which will be the axis of the swing. From the bottom of the board we fasten a wooden plank.

    Remembering that our children's town is the most safe place dachas, we carefully check the quality of grinding the board. It should be smooth, without chips. Near the seats, it would be nice to come up with handles, and below, as in the photo, dig in tires to soften the blow.

    traditional swing

    And what is a playground or town without a traditional swing? The simplest design, known to many since childhood, is a crossbar on ropes tied to a tree branch. This option is unsafe, so let's consider more reliable designs.

    The swing can be made as follows:

    • we dig into the ground two wooden beams with a section of at least 50x50 mm;
    • from above we fix the crossbar from a metal pipe or rod;
    • and we attach a seat to it on chains or ropes.

    For small child there must be a mount that will fix it on the seat. We also remember the dependence of the height of the structure on age. By slightly increasing the distance between the bars, you can turn an entertaining element into a sports one by adding a rope ladder, rings or rope to the free space, as in the photo.

    Slide

    A slide should also be included in the project of a playground for a summer residence. The designs of this game element are very diverse. It all depends on imagination and financial capabilities. It can be just a descent with a ladder, or you can build a whole children's town with a house.

    If you will be doing your own descent, it is very important to remember about the rounding at the bottom of the slide. A flat edge of the descent can lead to spinal injury. It is best to purchase a ready-made descent made of plastic or metal. You can choose and buy it in any store that sells ready-made children's towns.

    When making a slide from wood, it is necessary to carefully grind all the details, securely fix the supports in the ground, and protect all platforms at a height with railings or sides. If metal pipes are used in the construction of the slide, plugs must be inserted into them.

    play house

    Your children's town will be incomplete without a playhouse. Its design depends entirely on your imagination and capabilities. The main thing is to provide benches even in the smallest house. After all, it is here that it is so nice to take a break from games and chat with friends and girlfriends. In the photo below possible options game houses for a summer residence.

    Sports equipment

    To make your playground not just a place for games, but a real children's sports town, you should place various sports equipment on it.

    • For the smallest daredevils, you can build a path of stumps of different heights or a maze;
    • For the labyrinth, you can use other material, for example, the same car tires;
    • For teenagers, a children's town can be equipped with a horizontal bar, bars, rings and a rope;
    • To make our playground or town look really bright and fun, you need to add colors and settle some fairy-tale characters.

    Careful maintenance will not only extend the life of the game elements, but will also ensure that your playground or town will be safe.

    Probably not best place on earth, where you can have a good rest with the whole family from the bustle of the city and the annoying noise than your own Vacation home. Here you can forget about everything, enjoy the nature and beauty of the local landscapes, have a good time with your family and close friends. But it's all about us - adults, but what about children, what do they need in order for their vacation to be no less useful, rich and exciting? That's right - a playground for games and entertainment! It is better to make a multifunctional playground in the country on your own. So you will not only save a lot of money, but also be sure that the structure will be quite reliable and truly safe. After all, who, if not parents, should take care of the health of their children.

    Do-it-yourself playground from improvised materials (photo)

    Since the main and priority requirement for the playground is its safety, the importance of locating the playground away from dangerous places where kids can get hurt becomes a priority for parents. Nothing should threaten and pose a danger to their health.

    When playing outdoor games, children completely forget about safety precautions, so before you let them out on the playground, you must absolutely be sure that nothing will happen to them.

    Of course, you will not succeed in completely eliminating the risk of accidental injuries, because these are children and no one knows what might come to their mind. But to do everything possible to make their environment as safe as possible, you should try.

    When choosing a suitable place for a playground, remember that your kids, especially young age, should always be visible. Therefore, it would be advisable to equip a playground opposite those windows in the house where you are most often.

    The remoteness of the site from the house should not be too large, so that in which case you can quickly respond to the problem that has arisen.

    DIY children's sandbox (photo)

    DIY children's sandbox - good way prove to your kids that their childhood is not indifferent to you. Having shown care and attention to the younger generation back in early age, you will lay a solid foundation for your future relationship.

    The simplest and most straightforward way to build a sandbox is an open-type wooden structure in the shape of a square, rhombus, rectangle, etc. You can go even further and make a wooden sandbox with your own hands in the form of a boat or a ship.

    A children's sandbox in the form of a ship is a dream for any child, especially boys

    Child psychologists say that playing in the sandbox, kids not only develop Creative skills and hand motor skills, but also develop such positive character traits as hard work, perseverance, endurance and restraint.

    In addition, it has been proven that the presence of children in the sandbox, at least one hour a day, helps to stabilize their nervous system and relieve tension.

    Pretty simple and fast way designing a playground - make a small sandbox of white quartz sand, after fencing it with ordinary logs

    Your task is to make a sandbox, and how to organize the gameplay, the kids will figure it out themselves

    A do-it-yourself sandbox from improvised materials is a rather profitable and practical solution that will help not only save the family budget, but also allow you to use those unnecessary things that have been lying idle for a long time in the process of creating a frame.

    Children's slides for giving their own hands (photo)

    Unlike a sandbox, a children's slide is a more complex DIY design. The difficulty lies not only in the fact that its construction requires more building material, but also in particular responsibility for the safety of the facility.

    In order for the playground project to meet the most stringent safety requirements, during its construction, many little things and nuances will have to be taken into account:

    • Maximum slide height for children preschool age should not be more than 1 meter; for children over 5 years old, the height can be increased to 2–2.5 meters.
    • The angle of elevation of the stairs should be within 25 ° - 30 ° degrees, the optimal step width is considered to be 20 - 25 cm;
    • The rubber coating of each step will significantly improve traction with the sole and will prevent the sliding process;
    • Reliable, strong railings and balusters will not allow your child to fall from a height if at some point he cannot stand on his feet or slips.

    For fast and safe descents from the slide, it is best to use plastic ramps, which are light in weight and have an excellent coefficient of friction. Today, stores specializing in the sale of sports playgrounds will be able to offer you a huge selection of plastic ramps, both in height and in the shape of the structure (straight, helical, wavy).

    If you still decide to use natural ones (wood, plywood) for the slope, remember that their surface should be carefully and varnished.

    A playground in the country, created at the proper level, will allow you to be sure that while spending time on it, your children are completely safe. Children's slides for summer cottages are a sport, and physical education, as we all know, not only tempers the body and spirit, but also helps your baby develop intellectually correctly.

    Therefore, if you want your child to always be healthy, maintain the necessary fitness and lead healthy lifestyle life, the question of how to make a playground with your own hands should be paramount for parents.

    Following the simple installation rules for assembling wooden structures, you are guaranteed to get a comfortable and absolutely safe playground

    A children's slide for a summer residence is not the only thing that you can make with your own hands for a fun-filled holiday for your kids. , trampolines, sports equipment, sandboxes, swings, labyrinths, . Here is just a small list of what you can make yourself with a good tool in your hands, and a number of fresh ideas in your head.

    All these things, buildings and structures will be an excellent addition to the appearance of your site, transform it landscape design, and a beautiful playground for active games will give the farmstead a unique entourage and a special style.

    Do-it-yourself children's swing for giving (photo)

    Going to the dacha to relax and unwind from everyday worries and fuss, we dream of spending this time as comfortably as possible.

    That is why we buy expensive, upholstered, and most importantly comfortable furniture for the house. On the street, you can hang a beautiful hammock, where it's so cool to have a cup of coffee or read an interesting book. But alas, you can’t tempt children with such a rest, they need something more than a soft sofa or a boring hammock, they are only interested in swings. And since you did not take care of this issue in advance, you will have to make a swing from improvised materials.

    When creating an outdoor children's swing for giving with your own hands, you, as a father, must first of all understand that despite their angelic appearance, they still carry a potential danger. Therefore, as with any issue related to the safety of children, their reliability becomes the main criterion.

    Children's tire swing is the easiest and fastest way to please your kids

    You can hook a swing for absolutely anything, the main thing is that the support is sufficiently reliable and strong. If it is wooden or metal poles dug into the ground, then their foundation should be good, if it is a tree standing near the house, you need to hang the swing only on a healthy and thick bough.

    A do-it-yourself playground made at your dacha can also serve as great place where you can equip the street swing. After all, there is always a strong beam on it, which can easily withstand a small baby.

    If your “communication” with a hacksaw, a jigsaw and a plane takes place on “you”, then it will not be difficult for you to make a wooden swing with your own hands. You only need to purchase a suitable rope for a swing, but there will always be a couple of boards on the farm.

    It is important to pay attention to the fact that the bulk of the outdoor swing for giving, which you can do yourself, requires practically no costs.

    DIY tree house (photo)

    Probably many of you in your childhood read a book about an ageless boy Peter Pan from magical land Neverland. Everyone remembers his mysterious tree house, which attracted and attracted to itself with its mystery. Every child dreamed of such a tree house.

    Time passed, the children grew up and the majority, an old dream remained a dream. But why not now, later long years when you already have your little ones, do not make a childhood dream come true. Made so original way An interesting playground will be the perfect addition to your site.

    To make a treehouse with your own hands, it is enough to have a simple drawing at hand, minimum set carpenter, standard lumber and a reliable assistant, so that in case of emergency he can insure you. After all, the work is to be, albeit at a low, but height.

    The most suitable type of wood for building a house with your own hands is oak. Following the oak, there are such strong species as maple, linden, large spruce or pine.

    Important! Before you start building a children's treehouse, you need to properly examine the object for the presence various diseases. If such facts take place, the construction of a building on this tree must be abandoned.

    Active games are an integral and necessary part of the life of any child. Therefore, the presence of a good and safe playground on the site is guaranteed to provide your kids with an interesting and varied leisure time in the country.

    There is a huge variety good ideas for the design of playgrounds. Projects and drawings will be a great help to you when creating these objects. If you do not have them, do not be discouraged, and even more so, do not give up. Making a playground for your favorite kids is quite easy and fast without them.
