Distinctive property rice water is that it affects the process of slowing down the production of melanin pigment. And the less melanin, the less chance appearance of pigment spots. This water significantly lightens existing stains.

This water can be used as a facial tonic in the mornings and evenings; it should be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. It is also very good to freeze rice water in the form of cubes and wipe your face with them, this effectively refreshes the skin.

In order for masks made from grains to be as effective as possible, you need to thoroughly cleanse your face using scrubs:

  1. rice and coffee scrub: Mix 1 teaspoon each of crushed coffee and rice beans, pour in 2 tbsp. spoons of milk (for normal skin) or kefir (you can natural yogurt) for the care of oily and combination dermis. You need to keep the scrub on your face for about 7 minutes;
  2. rice and cottage cheese scrub: has excellent cleansing and moisturizing properties, nourishes the dermis. Add a tablespoon of cottage cheese (necessarily fresh) and 1 teaspoon of any vegetable oil to the rice crushed in a coffee grinder (2 tablespoons). The mixture must be warmed before use;
  3. rice-oat scrub: a tablespoon of crushed rice grains and oatmeal mix, add yogurt (no preservatives). You should get a homogeneous thick mass. Apply scrub to clean face, massage for 2-3 minutes.

A separate word for the area around the eyes

Masks are also successfully used in the area around the eyes, but here you need to be careful about the set of ingredients added to the mask, since the skin around the eyes is very delicate and vulnerable.

  1. Mix a tablespoon of rice flour and two tablespoons of sour cream, gently apply to the area around the eyes, and carefully rinse after 15 minutes. However, under no circumstances should you rub delicate skin in the area around the eyes;
  2. Peel a large potato, chop on a fine grater, add 2 teaspoons of milk and 1 teaspoon of rice flour. You can first apply it to gauze and then apply it to your eyes. Rinse off with cool water;
  3. add an egg yolk to 1 tablespoon of banana pulp, a tablespoon of rice flour, apply to the area around the eyes for 5-15 minutes.
  1. Any type of rice is useful for masks, but if possible, it is better to use brown rice, as it contains more vitamins;
  2. You should not make masks more than twice every 7-10 days, otherwise the frequency metabolic processes in the skin will slow down. After a month of use, change the rice mask to another. And after a month of using another mask, you can use it again this mask;
