Thirdly, the mascara "lives" for quite a long time: I had a copy that tolerably beautiful for about six months. Fourthly, a very affordable price and availability in principle.

It seems to me that all of the above is already quite enough for love and adoration. By the way, another proof of the coolness of Cabaret Vivienne Sabo is that, at my suggestion, it appeared in three more cosmetic bags :)

I have always loved mascara more than other types of decorative cosmetics. A variety of brushes and, as a result, a different effect on the eyelashes - I wanted to try everything to find my favorite! About 3.5 years ago I met the favorite of millions of girls - L'Oreal Volume Millions Lashes So Couture. Then a new version came out - extra black So Couture So Black. I don’t see any difference in them on my eyelashes and I’ve been grabbing one or the other from the shelf for all these 3.5 years.

Once upon a time, I gave her 4 points out of 5. But I return to her again and again, and this is already an indicator of love for me. This changed my original rating to the highest even despite some shortcomings.

Purple with gold case, there is nothing to add. On the extra-black version, only the strip with the name is not gold, but black. Hardly anyone pays attention to the composition of the carcass. I usually look for a mark that mascara is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lenses.

Silicone brush or bristles? The question is almost from the category of "to be or not to be." I love different variants, but specifically for this mascara it is silicone with bristles of different lengths (the brushes of regular and extra black differ from each other very slightly). I consider this form the most successful for myself: I get both volume and elongation, the absence of shedding and lumps. The only thing is that I sometimes get my eyelid dirty at the very eyelashes (this can even be seen in the photo), but here the claim is not for mascara, but for my “smooth” hands. If you apply mascara over full makeup, then it's not even noticeable, although I try to correct it.

I wash it off most often with micellar water, like all makeup. And if I resort to the help of hydrophilic oil or balm, then I wash off the mascara with just water. It seems that a couple of years ago it washed off a little faster and better. Perhaps the manufacturer conjured something with the formula. But it doesn't matter to me.

I don’t even remember how many of these bottles I had, but even when I buy something else to try, I make sure that I always have my favorite mascara at home “just in case”.

Perhaps I will not be too original, saying that my favorite mascara and my must-have is Maybelline NY Lash Sensational , this little girl is very popular. Probably one of the few cosmetics(if not the only one) with which I don’t want to experiment and look for “something better” even for the sake of interest, because I’m sure that nothing will do better with my eyelashes. So I have been buying the same tubes one after another for the past three years from the very moment it appeared on sale, and moreover, I hooked my mother, sister and girlfriends on it.

I'm happy with everything about it: great effect, which she gives, a bright black color, low price, "survivability" (3-4 months you can not worry about buying a new one), a pretty nice bottle.
But the effect is still the main thing. I do not have the longest and absolutely straight eyelashes, so my dream mascara should provide at the same time good elongation and curl (volume is also good, but not as important compared to these two parameters). And if many mascaras can cope with the first task, then the second is already more difficult - often the twisting effect (even if it exists) disappears too quickly. Lash Sensational, on the other hand, perfectly fixes the bend, but at the same time does not make the eyelashes stiff and heavy (and this happens).

Another very important nuance for me is the lack of gluing. Yes, I hate eyelashes a la "spider legs", the maximum naturalness in makeup for me is always what you need. This mascara still slightly glues the eyelashes, but not so critically that I can put up with it.

She also has everything OK with durability - she doesn’t leave panda circles under her eyes, she doesn’t flow at the most inopportune moment. But, like many "modern" carcasses, it is removed simply with warm water. More often I wash off my makeup with cleansing sherbet or micellar water, but sometimes, if there are no shadows and eyeliner on my eyes, but only mascara, I can resort to this method - it turns out well too.

As I mentioned above, the color of the mascara is rich black, which is what it should be (not dark gray!), There is nothing more to add here.

Well, in general, it’s great that there are no problems in order to purchase it as soon as you need it - you can find Fan Volume mascara from Maybelline in almost any store and no more than 500 rubles.

I remember, at the dawn of her career, Lena Krygina said that she could make any mascara with any brush good eyelashes, because it twists them correctly, paints over them, and the effect is always almost the same. This thought haunted me, and constantly adjusted to new techniques, choosing more and more budget carcasses. One day I stopped at Cabaret by Vivienne Sabo and I'm going to keep buying it until it's discontinued. I experimented with Lancome, Chanel, Guerlain - I liked the result less, and the money was spent significantly.

It is difficult to create something out of my eyelashes with the help of mascara (bundles are overhead - that's what really helps), so I like mascara for 2000, that for 250 rubles - the result is about the same - "it seems to be made up and okay." I have not expressive eyes without eyeliner, it's not even about mascara.

If I lengthen the eyelashes with mascara and twist them with forceps or a brush, I still somehow can, then it is unrealistic to make rare eyelashes thicker. Therefore, I choose a mascara that meets the following requirements: it curls, lengthens, makes eyelashes visually thicker, does not stick together already rare eyelashes, does not turn into spider paws when layered, does not crumble and does not smear throughout the day, and is easily washed off with facial wash. Cabaret copes 100%.

She has, like any other carcass, her shortcomings. The brush often paints the eyelid because it has rather long bristles. When I try to curl my eyelashes at the roots, the upper eyelid is almost always covered with black spots. I'm used to it and I always have it at hand cotton buds(and if there is already eyeliner on the eyelids, then nothing will be visible). And for the first couple of weeks, the mascara is liquid, it can glue the eyelashes, you should try to wipe the excess on the limiter as much as possible.

Many write that Cabaret dries quickly. As for me 4 months - normal term for using mascara, and if you do not use it every day, then it will last for six months.

I have a lot of requirements for mascara, because my eyes are sensitive (I also wear lenses), and the cilia are naughty, they need good separation and fixation. I also don’t like prickly brushes, mascaras that take a long time to wash off and crumble. During for I often use eye drops, so moisture resistance is also relevant. And I can’t stand it when mascara doesn’t color the ends of the eyelashes well, you know, when such stupid thick stumps are obtained, I love thin and sharp, beautifully defined eyelashes. And I have as many as 2 mascaras that match these high standards. I could not choose between them the best and decided to tell about both.

L'OREAL Volume Millions Lashes Feline

This mascara is a cross between everyone's favorite purple version of Millions Lashes and Maybelline's very popular Lash Sensation rival. I had both of these mascaras, they are great, but the green one is even better!

She has a slightly curved brush, because of this, an anatomical shape is obtained (is that what they say in the context of mascara?), And the cilia are immediately captured, lifted and perfectly separated from the very roots. Two strokes of the brush and beautiful, curved, fluffy eyelashes will be drawn by themselves.

This mascara is my favorite everyday mascara. With her, there are never lumps, glued eyelashes or sloppy makeup. It is almost not felt before the eyes, does not crumble and withstands perfectly weather. All this winter, I dyed her eyelashes without fear and fear and calmly walked under the snowfalls. Not once did she let me down.

It washes off with "stockings" and does not leave any streaks. Price 561 rubles in L "Etoile.

Guerlain Cils d'Enfer So Volume

I love all variations of this Guerlain mascara. And the usual in a gold bottle, and silver (waterproof), now I have a black one, and it is also beautiful. Although the brushes in the gold case and this one are decently different, and in fact they are different mascaras, apparently, the formula itself suits me perfectly, and I alternate them according to my mood when buying. I especially like the black one for its luxurious and stylish packaging.

Why is this mascara so good? First, it has a beautiful black color. You can laugh, but I see different shades black, now the mass market makes mascaras in quality no worse than luxury ones, but, probably, the color pigments are still different, and those that are more expensive always have a richer and deeper black color. Cils d'Enfer is especially black, even in one light layer it already clearly draws eyelashes.

Secondly, this mascara has a great creamy formula that builds up well without clumping, gives great volume and lifts even the straightest and most stubborn lashes to the brows. I have only one layer here (!), and the eyelashes look very bright and voluminous. You can apply it in 2-3, but such a drama in front of your eyes is too much. Me and this option is a little too much for daytime and light makeup, so I have this mascara for the evening or for those rare occasions when I pull out shadows and eyeliner. The effect here is mixed: volume, lengthening and twisting. The fixation is excellent, the cilia do not fall off, but at the same time remain soft.

Separately, I note a subtle and pleasant violet aroma.

Humidity and light rain will not frighten this mascara, it does not irritate the eyes by the end of the day, it is easily washed off with any make-up remover. The price is about 1800 rubles in L "Etoile.

In fact, mascara is the most important cosmetic product for me (along with lip balm and shadows), I use it almost every day. Ideally, I expect everything from mascara at once: lengthening, volume, separation (although a little gluing is not critical), so that it does not crumble and keeps the curve of the eyelashes. I like thick long eyelashes, which, unfortunately, I do not have. ((So, when I paint with mascara, deep down, I still hope for miraculous transformation. =)) Accordingly, I never paint with mascara in 1 layer, so there are 2 layers on all swatches.

I always curl my lashes with a tweezer before applying makeup. Tried to do perm, but the result is short-lived (no more than a month) and in my opinion it's not worth it.

Of course, it does not give 3 times as the manufacturer promises, but it suits me perfectly.

Practically not, the mascara just paints the eyelashes well to the tips. Doesn't weigh down lashes and the curl lasts well all day.

Separation.

It glues the eyelashes a little, and not from the roots, but mainly at the tips, which is easy to remove with a special comb.

Color spectrum.

Only black.

It does not crumble, it spreads into snow and wind. Overall a good mascara, but not great.

2. Mascara Volum "Express Colossal" Cat Eyes "from Maybelline

Quite thin, also curved, but much stronger, I like it even more. It is convenient to paint over the eyelashes in the corners of the eyes and the lower ones.

Despite the fact that the mascara is declared as voluminous, on my eyelashes it gives more elongation.

3. Cabaret Volume Mascara by Vivienne Sabo

9. Mascara Gold by Relouis (in the shade of eggplant)

It does not lengthen, but this is not its disadvantage, since it is declared by the manufacturer as voluminous, and no one promised the length.

Does not crumble, does not flow in rain and wind. I tried once upon a time (during the experiments with colored mascaras) this mascara in blue color The quality is the same, but the color is very bright. The same mascara looks like a muted black, only giving off dark purple in bright light. Looking forward to trying the brown one!

10. Relouis Dolly Lengthening Mascara

Classic but very subtle. It is convenient to use, especially to paint the lower eyelashes, but the process itself takes a little longer than usual.

The top three are: Volum "Express Colossal Cat Eyes mascara from Maybelline, 90x60x90 from Divage and Gold mascara from Relouis. But still the best, not even ideal for me, is the 90x60x90 mascara from Divage! She deserves 1st place. =))

Worst: Mascara by Ninelle and TOUCH & GO by Divage.

Some of them were already over and I was preparing reviews for them, but there was no time to write (or maybe an incentive!)
