Master class: we make “corrugated peony” from fabric. Pattern of flowers from peony fabric

Delicate and sophisticated spring do-it-yourself peonies you can make using paper and corrugation, satin ribbons and synthetic fabric. If you have household plot, then be sure to plant a few peony bushes on it, which in the spring will fill your house with their unsurpassed aroma. Using paper, you can create with your children, because in the days summer holidays schoolchildren have a lot of free time that can be spent on mastering new creative techniques.

Do-it-yourself peony from satin ribbons

Ribbons can be incredibly beautiful peony with hands, master class will describe in detail all the stages of the implementation of this craft. To make the bud look more natural, you need to choose ribbons of three similar shades, giving preference to bright, saturated tones of the red palette. It is these pale pink or rich red buds that bloom in wild nature, but with your own hands you can create flowers of any shades so that such a bouquet fits perfectly into the interior of your home.

IN Lately It has become very popular to decorate weddings with homemade elements, for example, handmade from textiles, ribbons and paper. Peonies can also become part of wedding decor, and buds can be supplemented and original bouquet bride.

To do do-it-yourself peony from ribbons, we need ribbons 5 cm wide, which must be cut into pieces 4 cm long. For one flower, you will need 36 of these 4 cm blanks. If you wish, you can make six central petals more dark color, in the outer petals - lighter.

The petals can be given a more bizarre shape, for example, to make their edge wavy, but we decided to cut all the blanks for the petals according to the usual pattern - a semicircle, because in the process of melting over the candle flame, each petal will acquire its own unique shape. We leave you the right to choose on your own what shape of the petals you will cut using a satin blank.

In order to melt the edges, you will need a candle: first, over the fire, you need to melt the edges of the petals so that they do not crumble, and then warm them up and give them a wavy shape with your fingers. In the process of heating, you will notice that the satin will be deformed, wrapped inside out, and as a result you will get a natural blank for the petal. When you do, always pay attention to the processing of the edges, otherwise they will crumble. The easiest way to finish the edge of the tape is to gently melt it over the candle, holding it with tweezers so as not to burn your fingers.

In addition to the petals, you need to make a middle, it should be of a dark shade: you should cut a square with a side of 5 cm from a satin ribbon, hand stitches sheathe the workpiece in a circle, and lay a ball of cotton wool or synthetic winterizer inside, then pull the thread. Now you have a ball that will play the role of a core around which the petals will be located.

When all the blanks are ready, you can begin to collect peony from satin ribbons do it yourself. 6 petals for the middle must be strung on a thread, then sewn to the core and pulled off. The rest of the petals will be more light tone, they must be sewn in layers to the resulting middle. The more you make such layers, the more magnificent and voluminous your bud will turn out. When you gain experience, you can use glue instead of threads, with which the petals will be attached to the core.

Finished lush flowers you can attach to the stem or decorate them with a flower basket. Buds can also be used to create jewelry: hairpins and brooches. And if you do for your daughter, then with the help of such satin flowers you can make beautiful wreath on the head, fixing them on the rim.

How to make peonies with your own hands

It turns out unique and do-it-yourself fabric peony, for which you can use textiles with any texture and pattern: from light, weightless, almost transparent to rough and dense.

IN this case we will not only take the fabric from which we will cut the petals, but also color it in the color we need, so from one piece of white fabric you can get the most diverse peonies in color shades, coloring them with paints.

The fabric must be taken synthetic, light, in this case we used white color. Scissors for work must be sharp in order to neatly cut the fabric without leaving a fringe.

We will first make patterns for the blanks, which we will then transfer to a fabric folded in several layers, so several sheets of white paper for the pattern should be prepared. Paper can also be laid on a work surface so as not to stain it with paints during staining. Acrylic paints should be taken, you will also need glue, a candle and matches, wire for the stems.

Do-it-yourself fabric peony

In the master class how to make peonies with your own hands, we need blanks different sizes to make the flower voluminous and beautiful. First of all, we will draw three patterns, as shown in the picture: small - 5 cm, medium - 7 cm, large - 9 cm in diameter. Try to make all the petals symmetrical, however, even if the patterns are a little asymmetrical, in finished work it won't be noticeable at all.

Thin synthetic fabric can be folded in several layers and fastened with pins, then traced around the contour of the pattern. For one flower, you need to cut four large blanks, six medium ones and six small ones for a dense middle. If you want to decorate the middle of the flower with pearls, then cut out only four blanks for it, then it will turn out to be less dense.

First, you need to use a brush moistened with water to walk along the edge of each blank, and color can be applied to the moistened pattern. To obtain desired color, you can dilute the paint on the palette.

Painted blanks that have already dried up can be cut out, and the edges must be processed over the candle. It is necessary to melt the edges of the blanks carefully, without bringing the fabric close to the flame, otherwise their edges will turn black.

If you want to issue a bouquet of peonies with their own hands, then in addition to the flower itself, you need to make stems with leaves. For the stems you will need floristic wire, and for the leaves - paint white cloth V green color. Ready leaves should also be processed over a candle flame, and with a heated knife, you can cut out the veins on the leaves. Leaves should be glued to the stalk on synthetic glue.

DIY paper peonies

Can be used for home decoration peonies from corrugated paper do it yourself They can be made in any size and in any color palette. In one paper bouquet you can combine peonies of different colors, as well as add other paper flowers to the composition. In addition to lush flowers, the bouquet may also contain unopened buds.

We will perform the peony gently Pink colour, so you first need to go to the store and buy a roll of corrugations. For the leaves you need plain green paper. To form a stem, you will need 20 cm of wire, a green tape, and in the process - a glue stick and scissors.

For the stalk, it is necessary to wrap the tape around the wire with tape, fixing the tip on the glue. Then, two leaves cut from colored green paper should be glued onto the stem. After the stalk is ready, you can proceed to the main stage of the craft - directly lush flower peony.

DIY paper peonies collected from separately cut petals. First, the corrugation should be cut into wide strips, a strip of about 80 cm should be folded several times and cut into wide petals, which will be used to form the lower part of our flower. In the same way, you need to cut out medium and very small petals, which will be located near the middle. You can see in our photo master class what shape the petals should be.

To make the middle, you need to roll a ball from a corrugated strip, this ball should have a small leg, which must be glued to the tip of the stem and wrapped with teip tape.

Each petal should be stretched a little with your fingers to give them a realistic concave shape. You should also stretch the edges of the petals with your fingers so that they become wavy, thus, the flower itself will turn out to be more magnificent.

Starting from the middle, it is necessary to fix all the prepared petals: the smallest ones are located near the middle, then the middle ones, and the largest ones will go in the last layer.

Instead of the middle, you can use a round candy, and this will become best surprise for a holiday for a friend.

Do-it-yourself stand for peonies

Once you see blooming peonies, it is impossible not to fall in love with them. In garden conditions, they grow in large bushes, on which large, fluffy buds bloom in April-May. Homemade flowers made with textiles or paper will allow you to enjoy beauty throughout the year in winter and autumn, but to decorate your garden in spring, you should definitely plant a few peony bushes. In addition, they are completely unpretentious in care, but in order for the bush not to spread along the ground, you will need do-it-yourself stand for peonies.

A similar stand can be used in garden design and for decorating other bush plants. To create such a stand, you must use aluminum tubes or metal rods. It consists of three legs and a circle, so the stand securely fixes the bush and its branches grow upwards, and do not spread along the ground under the weight of buds.

To create a stand, you can use a metal-plastic thin water pipe. In order to make legs from the pipe, it is necessary to cut it into segments, and drive wooden chopsticks inward from both sides, they are necessary in order to screw screws into the tree to fix the upper and lower circle of the stand on the legs. In order to make a circle of the required diameter from a metal-plastic pipe, you can bend it around a hemp or bucket, and then fasten the edges.

The finished stand can be painted green so that it does not stand out in the photo of the green garden.

Flowers are the decoration of our life. Flower decoration can give female image completeness and style, make the image more feminine and romantic. You can make your own at home bright accessory for yourself or as a gift to your loved ones. Making fabric flowers can be one of your favorite pastimes, bringing joy, confidence and becoming good source income. This will help you with the author's photo master class on creating a peony from fabric - "Corrugated peony" by Larisa Shushpanova

Let's start creating a flower masterpiece with our own hands

Materials and tools:
textile:
- rayon or atlas;
- microchiffon;
- flan (green);
tools:
- scissors;
- iron;
- glue gun;
Additional materials:
- gelatin;
- water tank;
- stamens;
- the basis for a brooch or hairpin.

In this master class, all the processes are shown and described step by step in order, so that you end up with a beautiful real peony.
Good luck and inspiration to all!

The first photo shows patterns of peony details.

To create a peony, we use artificial silk or satin + microchiffon.
Fabrics need to be slightly gelatinized - 1-2 tsp. gelatin per glass cold water. After half an hour, heat everything until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

For green leaves we take flan. Gelatinim is the same as rayon and microchiffon.

We cut out the leaves on an oblique!

We cut out the petals No. 1. To do this, cut out a strip the width of the petal. Cut a strip of fabric from edge to edge.

We fold a strip of fabric with an accordion (six folds), apply the petal pattern diagonally and at the same time cut out 12 petals.

For convenience, the folds can be secured with a pin.

We burn the edges of the petals over the flame of a candle.

All petals No. 1 are cut out, the edges are processed over a candle flame.

For corrugating petals and leaves you will need thin cloth(veil or chiffon). Fold the fabric in half diagonally.

Fold the petal in half front side inside.

We put the petal into the veil so that the diagonal of the petal coincides with the diagonal of the veil.

We put the petal inside the fabric (veil or chiffon).

With one hand we press the petal with an iron, with the other hand we pull the veil in such a way that folds form.

The result of corrugation with an iron:

Ruffled petal.

We open, straighten the petal.

We burn the petals over the flame of a candle and make the upper edge wavy (we melt and give a wavy shape with our fingers).

We make the upper edge of the petals wavy.

Petals No. 1 are corrugated, the edges are processed over candles, the upper edge is wavy.

We cut out the petals No. 2 in the same way as the petals No. 1 (we cut a strip of fabric from edge to edge, fold it with an accordion and cut out the petals along the oblique).

We fold the strip with an accordion (five folds) and at the same time cut out 10 petals No. 2 (always oblique!).

Cut out petals #2.

We corrugate petals No. 2 in the same way as petals No. 1. We burn the edges over the flame of a candle, and make the upper edge wavy.

We corrugate green leaves in the same way as the petals. We put the leaf in the fold of the veil (the fold of the fabric should be strictly oblique!).

A green leaf is inserted inside the veil, we crimp the petal with an iron in the same way as the petals were crimped.

When the green leaves are corrugated, we burn the edges of the leaves over the candles so that the tips are bent in different directions.

We burn the edges of the sepals over the flame of a candle.

Leaves and sepals are ready!

Let's start assembling the peony! Apply glue to the wrong side of the lower edge of the petal number 1.

Glue the petal onto the base of the fabric.

1st row: glue six petals No. 1 in a circle on the fabric base.

From the wrong side, cut off the excess fabric.

2nd row: petals No. 1 glue the overlay on the petals of the first row.

3rd row: We glue two petals No. 1 together and make a fold in the center.

We glue two petals glued together on top of the previous row, while the petals should not lie horizontally, they must be glued in such a way that they rise slightly. For this, a fold is made when gluing two petals.

Glued the third row of petals.

4th row: we glue two petals No. 1 together with a fold and glue them in a checkerboard pattern with respect to the previous row, while moving the petals forward, closer to the center, by about 2 mm.

The 4th row of petals is glued in a checkerboard pattern.

5th row: two petals No. 1, glued together with a fold, are glued on top of the previous row, while the petals should look up, perpendicular to the base.

The 5th row of petals is glued.

We apply glue to the lower edge of the petal and glue three petals in order (the edge of the next petal should overlap the middle of the previous one).

We twist the petals into a tube and glue.

We fold the bunch of stamens in half and glue it to the petals.

The remaining petals are also glued 2-3 each and glued around the bud.

The petals glued together are glued around the bud, which will be glued inside the peony.

We glue the remaining petals two by two, make a fold at the bottom and glue the inside of the peony in a circle.

We glue petals No. 2 in a circle, filling the inner space, and leave room for gluing the inner bud.

We cut the lower edge of the bud by 0.5-0.8 mm.

On bottom edge bud we cut the glue and paste it in the middle of the peony.

Glue the inner bud into the middle of the peony and from the wrong side, from below, hold the flower with your fingers and, while the glue cools, you can give the peony an irregular shape.

From the inside, press the bud with your fingers, and until the glue has cooled down, attach desired shape flower.

On the bottom edge of the leaf front side apply a drop of glue.

Glue the leaf to the peony.

From the inside, glue all the leaves.

Glue the sepals in a checkerboard pattern and close the wrong side.

And here is such a pionchik!

Everyone knows a wonderful garden flower called a peony. It pleases everyone with its flowering from spring to late autumn. It is impossible not to notice its bud - it is lush, bright and exudes a unique aroma. It has long been believed that the peony has magical properties: Drives away evil spirits and brings health. Currently known medicinal properties some types of pions used in pharmaceuticals. Knowing about its properties, I would like to wear this wonderful flower as a talisman, but since living plant wilt quickly, let's try to make a peony out of fabric. For this we need:

  • a small candle (as for aroma lamps);
  • the fabric itself - it can be satin or chiffon in the color you like (often delicate shades), but with a content of 100% polyester;
  • double sided tape;
  • yellow floss threads and scissors.

So, let's begin! 1. First you need to cut 5 circles from the fabric. We choose the diameter of 4 circles as desired (optimum 8-10 centimeters), but the fifth circle needs to be made a little smaller. It is not necessary to make a perfectly even contour of the circle. 2. Now, to make these patterns look like a petal, use a lit candle. You can do this by rotating the edges of the circles above the flame. When the edges evenly bend, you can proceed to the next circle. It is important to remember that chiffon and satin melt very easily, so you need to carefully singe the edges. 3. Next, we cut the finished melted circles from 4 perpendicular sides to give the appearance of a petal.
4. The places where the cuts are made also need to be held a little over the flame, pushing the place of the cut apart. 5. To give more splendor to the flower, we make four more cuts on 2 petals and melt their edges in the same way. 6. The petals are ready, let's proceed to the middle. For this, yellow floss threads are needed. We wind them around two fingers, making 6-8 turns, and without removing we tie the turns between the fingers. 7. Having removed from the fingers, we cut the coils along the edges and get something like a bow. We straighten all the threads and get the middle of the peony. Can also be used in place of the middle large beads or pearl beads. 8. We have already prepared individual parts of the flower. Let's start assembling it. We take the 2 largest circles, cut into 4 parts and glue them together. They will be the base of the flower. Then we glue together and glue smaller blanks, cut into 8 parts, to the lower layers.
9. In the middle we sew beads or a yellow core of a flower, while sewing together all the layers of our peony. For this, it is better to use the same threads as for the core of the flower. After that, you can straighten all the petals, giving them a uniform splendor. Peony is ready! You can use it by attaching it to clothes with a pin, decorating a set table, sticking it on double-sided tape in a car or anywhere else.

Doing beautiful flower from satin ribbons with their own hands
DIY beaded peony in a master class (photo) How easy it is to make a flower with your own hands.

Everyone knows the beneficial effect of flowers on our mood and attitude. Flowers are even able to share their energy with us. Peony has long been a symbol of wealth and love. Also in Ancient Greece he was appreciated for his beauty and believed in him magical power that it drives away evil spirits and brings health. The only pity is that the period of its flowering is short, and the plucked flower lives only a few days. Naturally, the thought arises of whether it is possible to create a peony quickly and simply with your own hands? It turns out that not only is it possible, but there are countless ways to do this, you can choose for every taste. In the article we will consider the main materials and methods for making a pion with a description of some processes. At the end will be presented detailed wizard classes for making this fabulous flower.

We sew peonies with our own hands from fabric: different types and methods of creating a flower

To begin with, it should be noted that peony flowers are very different, but, as a rule, in our view they are associated not with ordinary, but with terry forms. That is main feature flower is the presence of a huge number of petals. In addition, you can make a flower in the budding phase, semi-opened and, finally, fully bloomed in all its glory.

For needlewomen who are starting to try their hand at making flowers for the first time, and especially peony, I would like to give such advice. Be sure to carefully examine a living flower first, you can even disassemble it into separate petals, realize how they are folded relative to each other, how they are attached to the core. Pay attention to the shape and curvature of individual petals. You can attach them to paper and circle them - in the future, these blanks can play the role of stencils. The resulting visual information will be very useful to you in your future work, no matter what material or technique you choose.

So, a peony can be made from different types fabrics: organza, satin, tulle, silk. Consider, for example, the option of making a peony from chiffon.

First you need to prepare templates for future petals of several sizes.- you need to have at least three of them, and preferably five. To make the petals the same and to speed up the process, it is best to fold a strip of fabric eight or more times, apply a template and cut out the appropriate number of blanks. You should end up with eight to twenty petals of each size, with the largest being the largest.

For beginners most simple option will cut circles of different sizes from the fabric.

The next step is to burn the edges of each petal or circle. To do this, you can take an ordinary candle and, holding the petal with tweezers, carefully process all the petals, while giving them the desired curvature and shape.

There are several options for assembling the flower itself. The easiest option is to take a needle with a thread, fasten it with a blunt edge, for example, on foam plastic, and put on top of all the petal circles in sequence, starting with the largest and ending with the smallest. We fix the thread and sew a few beads into the center of the flower. We got a real terry peony.

When using cloth different shades, you can create very interesting options flower.

Petals can be connected with other different ways, sew them and glue them, use the middle of the threads, the fabric itself or beads. The petals themselves can be cut, not forgetting to also process the edges on the candle. Using this technique, you can further increase the splendor of the flower being made.

Very beautiful peonies can be made from satin ribbons using the kanzashi technique.

At the end of the article, a video master class on creating a peony using this technique is offered.

We sculpt peonies from a plastic mass with a description of the work

Of course, you can sculpt a peony from plasticine, but by now there are so many materials that look professional and realistic that you can’t ignore them. The most convenient for creating flowers are polymer clay and cold porcelain. Polymer clay can be recommended for beginners, since it does not have the ability to harden in air, like cold porcelain. It must be baked in the oven or boiled to harden. In addition, it is available in many colors, mixing which, you can get interesting shades. Cold porcelain is only white; when solidified, it must be additionally painted. But it is from cold porcelain that you can make the thinnest petals and leaves that will look like real ones.

You can find master classes on sculpting a peony from these materials at the end of the article.

Peonies knitted and felted.

Interesting flowers can come from wool. If you already have the initial skills of felting or knitting, then you can easily create an original peony from natural materials.

Below is short description peony creation process, crocheted. It turns out here is such a flower, the diameter of which is approximately 9 cm.

Dial 6 air loops, close them into a ring and knit the 1st row into a ring - 20 columns with 1 crochet. (hereinafter stsn.)

2nd row - 2 sts are knitted into each loop.

3rd row - 1 sts is knitted into each loop.

4th row - 2 sts are knitted into each loop.

You can also tie a peony using the following diagram.

Peony, in addition, can be made from various kinds paper, from napkins, from beads, from plastic bottles and other materials.
