Its dimensions are calculated as follows: using a tape measure, we consistently measure all four sides of the box and add three centimeters to the hem, so we get the width, the length is determined by the formula - 2 heights of the box itself + 1 length.

Advice! If you have never wrapped a gift with your own hands before, you should immediately practice on some unnecessary paper. For example, on a newspaper or on a piece of unnecessary wallpaper.

Before packing a gift box in paper, we audit the box and the gift itself for the presence of price tags, and, if necessary, remove them. Next, on a flat surface, lay out a rectangle of paper of the desired size and a box with a gift.

We place the box in the center of our rectangle. On any of the vertical edges, we make a fold inward by 0.5-1 cm. Glue adhesive tape to the fold. We tightly wrap the box in paper, if necessary, slightly stretching to remove wrinkles. We align the paper along the edges, remove the film from the glued adhesive tape and stick the edge with a hem.

The lower part of the rectangle is bent and pressed tightly against the side faces of the box. After that, we bend it, bend it in the middle, stick adhesive tape and fasten it to the end. We carry out such an operation from two sides.

Cut out a strip of paper that is wider than the height of the lid by about 10 mm. Then glue it flush with the top of our cover. The protruding allowance is carefully tucked inward. Our package is ready!

1. Making a box

1.1 Prepare a sheet of thick paper and draw a circle on it. Draw two perpendicular diameters through the center of the circle.

1.2 Now, through the indicated points A and B, you need to draw another circle. In the new circle, you also need to draw perpendicular diameters (see picture).

1.3 Use a plate or disk and a creasing tool to trace, cut and fold the paper.

1.4 Cut out the entire shape and fold along the curves.

1.5 Start folding the box.

2. We make out the packaging

2.1 In the quilling technique, you need to make a bump. You will need half a paper strip Brown, and a third light brown. These strips need to be glued together.

2.2 For a cone, you need to make a lot of scales - in this example out of 18. This means that you need to make 18 strips as in paragraph 2.1. Start twisting the strips, starting with the light brown one.

2.3 After you have a roll, you need to release it until its diameter is about 2 cm.

2.4 From the roll, make an "eye" shape (see picture). You have a scale.

2.5 The middle of each scale must be squeezed out and immediately well lubricated from the inside with PVA glue. So you fix the volumetric detail. Let the glue dry.

2.6 Glue 3 others around one scale. Next, glue the rest of the scales in rows to make a bump.

2.7 To make a hat for a cone, you need to cook three paper strips, glue them into one long strip. This long strip now needs to be twisted into a roll.

2.8 Pass a thread with a small loop through the middle.

2.9 Give the roll a cone shape and grease well with glue. Let the glue dry.

2.10 Glue the hat on the bump and you can decorate the blank with liquid sparkles that imitate snow.

It remains only to put together all the details. Put a gift in the package, tie it with a bright ribbon. Hang a cone on the loop. You can add a couple of artificial spruce branches.

After that, we will close the end sides of our gift. To do this, carefully first bend down one side, repeating the contours of the box, as shown in the photo:

From the rest of the wrapping paper we form a triangle, folding the corners on the sides.

Now we bend the top of this triangle, after which we bend it to the end of the package. We take a transparent adhesive tape and fix it well.

We repeat such actions from the other end of our box.

A decorative element of our packaging will be a fan made of the same paper. Therefore, we prepare a piece of wrapping paper to create it. It all depends on how we will arrange this fan. We decided to arrange it according to the width of the box. Therefore, we cut out the paper of the appropriate size.

Now we fold it with an "accordion".

We bend this "accordion" in half.

We glue in the middle, and make the edges of the resulting "accordion" semicircular with scissors. At the same time, we make sure that the total size of the fan matches the width of our box.

The decorative element is ready, we proceed to the final stage of packaging. We take a golden ribbon and tie the box.

We form a bow.

Now, immediately behind the bow, we fix the fan with glue.

Folded packaging

In this master class, we will demonstrate one of the gift wrapping options. At first glance, it does not differ from the usual, but it has one zest.

To create such a package, we prepared:

• wrapping paper;
• scissors;
• transparent tape;
• thin double-sided tape;
• golden ribbon.

First prepare a piece of paper right size. In this case, you should focus on the usual packaging, but make an increase of about 50% in the direction in which the folds will form. We lay the sheet with the pattern down and make the first small fold.

Then we will make blanks for future folds. And for this we bend the paper by 2.5 cm.

And so we repeat 4 more times. In total, in this case, we will get blanks for five folds. If desired, they can be made more or less. You can also vary the width of the folds.

Unfolding the packing list front side up. We see 5 fold lines.

Focusing on them, we will form folds. Gently grab the first fold from the edge and in its place we form a shallow (about 1 cm) fold.

Now they need to be fixed. To do this, turn the sheet over wrong side, where we fix the folds in several places with transparent tape.

Then carefully begin to bend the end sides of the package.

With the help of transparent tape we fix one corner.

Then we bend the second corner with folds.

By the same principle, we fix the other end of the package.

Now it remains to tie the gift with a ribbon.

Then you need to perform a diagonal addition.

After that, fold the square along the other diagonal.

The resulting folds on our workpiece allow us to fold it in the form of a double triangle.

Now let's start forming our packaging bag directly. To do this, place the triangle with the base up, take the right corner of the top layer and bend it to the left as follows.

Then we bend it back, while combining the right side.

We do the same with the left corner of the top layer, it needs to be bent to the right.

Then we fold it into reverse side, not forgetting to combine the left edge.

Fold the top corners inwards.

We turn over the packaging blank and do the same with the right and left corners.

We fill the upper protruding corners inward.

Now we will form the bottom of our packaging bag. To do this, bend the bottom corner up.

After that, carefully form the bottom, which should be square in shape.

We should get such a blank for packaging.

Through these holes we pass a golden braid.

Do not forget to first remove the gift, after which we tie the ribbon with a bow.
